A great hotel in a convenient location. The rooms are clean and modern; the staff is friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that the printer in the business centre doesn't work properly, and hasn't worked the last two times I stayed there. I pointed out the problem to the front desk but to no avail.

The service is nice, looks very nice in the lobby, the swimming pool is small and the water is not clean with hair and bugs, the hot tub is the same and can see dead skin in water as well. The price is very high in my opinion one night at $249 and the other two nights were $339 a night . There is only one elevator since the second one is under construction but after looking at reviews I noticed it's been out of order for over a month. The rooms were not that clean when we first got here there were black fluffs on the bed, sticky stuff on the counters, hair in the shower, stains on pillows and walls. not to mention there are Beatles that look like ticks in my room as well as fruit flies. The only reason I came here was because of the location and I figured because of the price I would be getting what I'm paying for, unfortunately I didn't get what I thought would be normal but by the second day I didn't want to be here anymore!! Also if u don't get the room with a balcony u can't have fresh air the windows were siliconed shut! Edit: the walls are paper thin and can hear people clear as day in the hallways, the Lighting is poorly designed!! You get a night side lamp for the whole room? Not to mention when it got dark we had to close the window curtains because the parking lot light post was right in front of the room and directed in the room hurt my eyes and soap I didn't trust as I have sensitive skin and smelt like cleaning products!

I was in town for a conference and had an absolutely horrendous stay. The hotel room was filthy with stains on the pillows, marks along the walls, hair in the shower and on the replacement pillows provided by housekeeping. The curtains were broken and wouldn't close properly. I informed the front desk but nothing was done to rectify the issue. The hotel is undergoing renovation with one of the elevators being out of service. As a result, it can take an exceptionally long time to get down to the main lobby if you have accessibility issues. The hotel lobby is deceptively pleasant. I would avoid this hotel where possible.

I travel from Ottawa to a Toronto for work every other week and stay at this location. What sets this hotel apart truly is the staff. Alan, Anna, Roger, Alejandro, Dale, everyone from the moment i walk into the hotel are at their finest making sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible from start to finish. Traveling so much for work is hard, especially when you have a family you are leaving behind. These wonderful people make me feel like I’m at my home away from home. They jump leaps and bounds to make sure my stay is peaceful, calm and just like home. I am so blessed to have met them all as they have touched me with such kindness and generosity. For me, it’s the people. The staff at front desk making sure the guests are happy, housekeeping keeping everything top notch clean, everyone that creates a space to truly feel like a second home. And I am grateful for their kindness everytime I arrive and they welcome me with a huge smile or when I am departing and they say they look forward to seeing me next time. Grateful my path has lead me to get to meet such beautiful people and have such a wonderful environment to lay my head after a long day 🙏 Sarah Church, Marriott Ambassador

Hotel Lobby was beautiful! Morning staff were friendly and nice ! Room was clean. All other things were very disappointing given we spent $338. Pull out couch bedding had 2 flat sheets no fitted sheet and a fleece blank with holes in it. I had my 2.5 year old sleeping there so no big deal. I called reception to get extra pillows to make a barrier and was told that they have a standard per room but would ask and get back to me. I requested for 4 more. When calling back she said she'd bring 2. (Better then nothing). On check out day we had housekeeping knock on our door at 8:45am to clean the room that we technically had until noon which was annoying. The pool was nice to have however it was very warm water and the sides were very dirty. I'm not likely to stay at this location again.

Beautiful, recently renovated hotel in a great location. Check in was great - Jay let us know everything we needed to know and he acknowledged my gold elite status which I know management looks out for. I was impressed that he kindly placed his phone call on hold to check us in, took the time he needed, then resumed helping the guest on the phone since their conversation was not urgent in nature. Weird to say but best smelling hotel I've ever been in. Likely the cleanest too. A little disappointed with the following service from front desk and prices in the market (come on, $7 for a tiny stick of deodorant that should be provided for free??) Otherwise this would be a 5 star review. Keep up the good work - great staff and beautiful location!

Very nice location just off the highway in the heart of Vaughn. Close to Canada's wonderland (10 minutes) was the reason for our stay, but is also across the parking lot from a Dave and Busters and only minutes to shopping, the Bass Pro Shop, and many many other businesses. I will be staying here again, no questions asked.

We was very disappointed with the service at the restaurant in the hotel. We was booking three rooms( 2 queen beds rooms and one king bed room ) we was two couples and three younger…. In the morning we went down at the restaurant and we found out that only one queen bed room have breakfast included… it’s mean the room of three people was staying… fine with that but the man at the restaurant was very rude saying that only two people in that room ( was three people was booked)… when he came for clean up the table he was asking if we was booking the hotel not directly? Unfortunately we are calling direct to book with the front desk hotel.. what does it mean directly or not directly? We was planning to stay one more night at the hotel … finally we left right after.

We stayed here on our road trip but would opt out in the future. The inconvenience of the one elevator was frustrating. The free breakfast is something the kids enjoy but was missing here. Nothing but the basics.

Updated Courtyard style with big screen TV, sofa, long desk combined with fridge cabinet, drawers and luggage area. Old Courtyard approach with small shower and toilet "room", then closer and sink outside that area. Well maintained. Looks like they are adding the soap, shampoo, body wash dispensers soon. Restaurant open for breakfast and dinner with the limited Courtyard menu. Also beer, wine and spirits available at the counter. Lots of seating if you want to eat in the restaurant area, but they do takeout too. Staff were very helpful. Big lobby area with modern furnishings and a large TV. Indoor pool and a well appointed exercise room. Lots of parking. One side of the hotel faces the freeway but far enough away that road noise not a problem. The other side faces the Dave and Buster's restaurant and parking lot. Overall a nice facility with a good location.

I have stayed in a number of hotels and I have yet to give a 5 star until now. The room is large and clean. The bed is just perfect, not too hard and not too soft. I alway pack my own pillow because I find the hotel pillows too hard, this room had the perfect pillow for me. I was able to turn the heat off so it wasn’t too hot. It’s quiet. The TV actually had a full channel guide. It has a Kuerig , so I can have a decent coffee. A mini fridge to have a few cold drinks on hand. Honestly it’s the hotel room I’ve been looking for, for years. I have a trade show at the international Center by the airport in August. I had a room book near there but I’m canceling it and staying here for a week

The hotel was clean. The elevators were slow and one was not working during our stay. The breakfast service in the morning was great. Everyday Cal would greet us smilingly and gave his best to serve us. I would request for hot milk for my tea which is not a usual request but he would go the extra mile to provide. This Marriott is lucky to have him for last 30 years.

This is a great hotel and the people who work there are friendly and very hospitable. I have found my Go-to hotel whenever I am in Toronto! The location is great and close to the freeway!

Visited briefly for a business meeting here. Quite a spacious lobby where you can sit and access free internet as a non resident guest while you wait or have any meetings to attend. There is ample parking outside the hotel.

Great room, perfect for a night or more. We had a balcony and it overlooked Dave and Busters and the highway, which isn't the greatest view, but you don't stay in Vaughan for the view. Everything was clean. The front desk people were excellent, as well as the service at the market/bistro area. Breakfast was a little expensive and underwhelming. But there are a few places you can drive to and eat anyway. The pool is by appointment as well. Book early for your stay.

We planned a ladies weekend and we had a great time here. They let us have drinks after hours in the lobby, which we appreciated since we had a late check in. Highly recommend and I'll be back here if I come back here.

The elevator is still undergoing maintenance and repair work, which leads to very long elevator waits for the only one in service. Location is ok for those doing business in Vaughan, otherwise it is a long drive to the city. Rooms are neat and clean, and the cleaning staff are friendly and professional.

I stayed at this hotel many times until now i booked it on their website for $295.99. Then they charge me $206. For tax recovery and fees. For a total of $501 for 1 night. With absolutely no breakdown at all of what the tax and fees were so I canceled and will never go back to A Marriott hotel. again.

Hotel was nice, but lacking for the price. The rooms are nicely decorated, but noticed a couple questionable things in terms of cleanliness; the bathroom looked like it had dirty footprints all over the walls, and one of our beds looked like something was spilled over the side. The pool area was maybe the biggest disappointment; in the pictures from the website, it shows a waterfall flowing into the pool from the spa. In reality, the waterfall is broken and looks like it has been plastered over (ie. no intent on fixing it). And they have also permanently removed the functionality of being able to turn on jets in the spa, so it is basically just a hot pool of water. The last thing I'll say is that most hotels nowadays offer coffee in the lobby, but at this hotel you need to pay over $6 from their "starbucks". Other than that, the hotel is a fairly good location and our interactions with the staff were fine, I just didn't feel like the value was there.

Would have given it 1 if it wasn’t a good stay. Basically no problem during my stay as the concierge and staff were really good. However, when I called around 630pm yesterday to inquire about the overcharge, the lady receptionist picking up my phone was so rude and then when she explained why there was an overcharged, her phone was staticky and I couldn’t hear, when I asked her to please repeat she said “I explained to you but you were not listening”. Is this is type of service I can expect from this hotel especially when I asked her to repeat nicely BECAUSE her phone was staticky and I got that kind of treatment? Will not be coming back based on principle alone.

We stay here at least two weekends a month. The staff is just amazing. It truly is our home away from home. We have the pleasure of dealing with Jai most times we come in and he and the rest of the staff treat us exceptionally well. Thank you

Beautiful hotel and room, the ambiance was nice and the hotel was situated in a nice location. The service was excellent, Amibie Pomperada was especially helpful, his service was excellent he helped in every way possible without fail, he was very pleasant and helped us with anything that we needed. Overall it was a very nice hotel with lovely staff

I've been here twice now, once was to relax with my in laws and the second most recent was a staycation anniversary celebration. We didn't really experience any of the staff service as we only stayed a day but the room we paid for had a jacuzzi and it was very cool but also very loud. I actually ended up hearing the nextdoor room's jacuzzi in the middle of the night, thankfully they stopped the bubbles and I could get back to sleep. We also went into the pool for a nice one hour swim which was super relaxing. Afterwards we visited a nearby restaurant for an early dinner. The location in Vaughan is great cuz there are just so many nearby options if you have a car. If not, it's pretty barren besides a Dave and busters across the way. Overall pleasant but expensive experience.

We were very happy with the quality of the hotel and room. It was recently renovated and it was clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not get to use any facilities or eat at the hotel to comment. Would not hesitate to stay again and recommend this hotel as clean and comfortable. Check in was a little slow and staff polite but could have been a little friendlier, a minor complaint though.

I just want to say thank you to this hotel and staff for being so amazing thoughtful helpful and kind to my daughter who was traveling alone. We stopped at another hotel in the area with whom we thought we had a reservation however it was not a great experience and my daughter had to leave. I quickly called this Marriott, and they were the most understanding and accommodating. Service Service Service all the way!!! Thank you so much for doing it right!

This is the second time staying at the courtyard by Marriott location Vaughan. I came from Vancouver BC to set up my daughter at University. Location is close to the TTC and many restaurants. The hotel is very clean. The workers are very friendly and willing to help. The pool is very nice. Housekeepers are friendly.

Stayed here last month and had the time of my life. The staff here were super friendly, super helpful and accommodating. The room was nice and the option of making it a larger double bedroom was amazing. Not too sure about the food the bistro looked kind of small and the menu was not that big. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the pool was dirty and they could stand to clean it more.

I do stay here a few nights a month and services has always be great. But my last time was really exceptional. The front desk Guest Manager (sorry, I dont recall your name, like you did with mine) came out of his way even though the other lady said no rooms with a balcony available and I always like one with it, he came up and asked me for a few minutes, appreciated my repeat stay, remembered my name and got me the type of room I liked. Big thank you and I will be back soon. Regards, M.S

What a beautiful hotel. Lobby and rooms are immaculate. Front desk agent was helpful, polite and attentive. The room was beautiful and clean! There was spa music playing in the room when I entered. Amazing stay. Would 10/10 recommend!! I stay in hotels very often and this one by far is my new favourite. I will be back!!

The staff and service was awesome. My family and I are clean freaks so when we went to the hotel we’d ask for about 6 bath towels everyday and no one even asked why they just brought the towels up in 5 minutes. We were looking for hotels for about an hour and due to COVID no one was willing to even show the room we were paying for. When we got to this one the staff had no problem taking us up to the room and assuring us that it was clean and large. The location is also very convenient for those that have kids since just across the street there’s a massive arcade. Also the room had really good air conditioning. They also had a pool, hot tub , and a meeting room. Also to prevent confusion I just want to state that the bistro they have is in the same part where the Starbucks is. Overall my family and I are very happy with our stay and will be sure to come back. 5 stars!

The outside of the building looks a little rough now but they completely redid the inside since I was there before this previous time, it looks way better! Quick check in and out and clean and comfy rooms!

The hotel is old but clean, just that traveling for work you expect to grab a quick breakfast and be up working early Here the waiting line for a coffe is 30-45 minutes!!! Served x a single guy, no self service The manager said it’s ok to wait that long every morning, not for me, so had to grab breakfast in the way somewhere else

  • 4/5 Stephen S. 1 year ago on Google
Weird no free breakfast option but on the upside the quality of food from the restaurant is outstanding. Room had a comfy pullout couch for a drunk guy to sleep on. Probably wouldn't have slept too well otherwise.

  • 4/5 Martin D. 1 year ago on Google
Happy with our choice. The hotel staff were all very friendly, the breakfast was great and the pool was never busy. We ate dinner twice on the patio which was peaceful. The hotel smells great (which is odd to comment but it did always have a perfume smell that was pleasant). Only reason we docked it a star (should of been 2 but everything else was good to great) is they only had a king bed with single sofa bed for a family of 4. How to fit 4 people in a room like this was a challenge. Sofa bed matress is also poor and you feel the metal framing. It would be a great hotel if you get the correct room for amount of guests.

  • 5/5 Danielle H. 1 year ago on Google
Had a great stay!! 2 queen sized bed and our couch turned into a pull out bed!! Pool was really good as well as the hot tub the only downside to the hot tub was it was boiling hot so we could only stay in a max of 5 minutes but otherwise everything was amazing Service was fast!! Pool and hot tub was good! Was near the busy highway and was extremely quiet!

This is your typical 3 star hotel. Quite clean, modern lobby area, modernized rooms. Hallways and elevators have not been updated. Appropriate for short stays/overnights. Can't say much about covid cleaning standards. They leave you 2 alcohol wipes in the room which I presume is to disinfect surfaces yourself. Easy to tell that hasn't been done when you look at the light switches, TV remote, etc so that's the first thing you should do when you get to the room. Would be nice if courtyard left you a bottle of water in the room but none of them do. Room layout is functional and a decent size.

  • 1/5 Matthew C. 1 year ago on Google
The room we were given was in a poor state of repair, end tables missing a leg, the pull out bed was unusable and also filthy, no linens for the extra pull out mattress. Alot of the furniture and walls are either damaged or marked. Linens were stained and that is unacceptable. for the price and premiums that they charge I would've have expected better from a brand like Marriott. I've stayed at many of your properties and this one was clearly not living up to the Marriott name. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone nor would I select it to stay at again.

  • 4/5 Alex P. 2 years ago on Google
Good hotel, close to Ontario Highway 40. Clean, fairly modern, very good for short stays. COVID restrictions limit the access to the gym, pool and the bistro works only from 7 AM to 10 AM.

Hotel was clean , renovated, comfortable. We had a nice view of the pond ... It's no Niagara falls but it was cute. Friendly staff. Convenient star bucks in the lobby. Will be back for sure.

Good hotel overall. Friendly staff. Clean and fairly new rooms. Hotel has a swimming pool and a gym. There was some confusion as to whether breakfast was included or not, and there is only one microwave for the entire hotel in the lobby of the hotel, which is very inconvenient. Other than that, good stay.

  • 5/5 A S. 1 year ago on Google
Enjoyed the stay in this clean and neat hotel. Everything was cool about this place; the staff were friendly and prompt, room was quite spacious with 2 Q-beds, shower is great, breakfast was good (not amazing, but basic), free parking, pool… There are many eateries around, you won’t find it challenging if you need to eat even in late hours.

The treatment at this hotel is always the best. The staff go beyond measures to ensure everything is okay during your stay. A special shout-out to Allan for making my birthday weekend stay extra special! Truly an amazing group of people. Loved the hotel.

Booked a one night stay for a Netflix and chill before our morning flight and upon checking in we noticed a sign that said none of their TVs work. Bummer since the reason we booked was they they were newly renovated and had bigger TVs. Front desk staff was super rude when we were inquiring about the TVs (if it could power on or if we could cast from our laptops) and ultimately we decided that we should just look somewhere else for the night if it could be refunded, and if not we’d stay. She continued to be rude and kept talking to us like we were dumb even though she couldn’t not confirm if we would get charged. We ended up booking at another Marriott property (element - their staff is superb) and I guess I am just going to wait for the charge and contact Marriott, but honestly I thought the situation could have been handled much better.

My stay was really great. The staffs were really amazing especially Front Desk agent Allan and Bistro staffs Ambie and Gloria. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I will definitely come back and recommend this property.

Had great customer service experience from Jay at reception. We needed a place to stay earlier than check out due to weather condition and me being pregnant, he went above and beyond and got us a room to stay. I honestly get disappointed when some customer service employees doesn’t bother to listen to customers, they immediately say NO rather than finding a solution, well Jay listened and cared, and helped us with the best he could. We greatly appreciate that! the price is fair, a bit higher but the place is very nice and very clean, I just hope it came with breakfast but a great experience over all, will definitely recommend and come back!

Very nice and cozy room. I had Netflix access on my TV which was amusing. Nice service. The only thing I wasn't quite happy about was the breakfast. I had very limited choice to pick something from the menu at the bar. Not quite the variety of options! There's not much space to host hotel guests for a meal.

fantastic stay! as 5 people who were scrambling to find last minute accommodations on the canada day weekend, the staff here were more than accommodating and found us a clean, spacious room that fit us all comfortably. it was even reasonably priced for a last minute booking on a holiday weekend! much thanks to the staff here, thoroughly enjoyed our visit and i personally will be coming back this summer :)
