Very nice rooms, honestly, the bathroom doors are aesthetically pleasing, but provide little to no privacy whatsoever, might just be the room I booked but it's still rather uncomfortable. Also, guests were very loud and were knocking on doors and running away, very bothersome and it went on for a long time. Overall wasn't too bad though!

Good experience but not great. One front desk staff was not at all helpful. Other staff got us in to our rooms. Maybe some customer service lessons for the other. Room was nice. Restaurant was only service we used, food was good prices not so much. Recommend searching the neighborhood plenty of choices around. Location was good close to highway, airport and best of all Bass Pro Shop.

The bed was so comfortable that I had a very very deep sleep. I almost forgot what I had to do the next day, and I was tempted to cancel my plans and just sleep in all day. The only downside was that I extended my checkout time to 1 pm, but House Cleaning kept knocking every 10 minutes after 12. So, 4/5 for service, 5/5 for everything else.

Very nice overall. Service and quality of the room were very good. Only observation would be that the prices charged in the mini store by the front desk are pretty crazy.

I had my wedding dinner at Novotel and it was absolutely the best decision. We had a group of about 40, and used the Woodbridge Room. Milena handled everything with so much professionalism, precision, empathy, and grace. The communication was top notch, the rates were good, decor beautiful, food was amazing, my guests enjoyed every bit of it. We were given complimentary nights and a nice welcome package was waiting in the room for my partner and I. My experience at Novotel was just awesome, and I can't thank Milena enough for replying my hesitant inquiry email and making the ride a smooth one. I would 100% recommend, over and over again.

Tia and Danesh are careless and obviously do not care about customer experience or the hotel's reputation- They left me on hold for over 30 minutes. When I hung up and called back they put me on hold immediately. This was not during a busy time but late in the night. A simple and straightforward response would be appreciated.

The hotel is along the main road and serene atmosphere. The rooms are very big beyond what I was expected. It is my first time of witness a hotel having such a big room which is not an executive one. The environment and rooms are very neat and admiring. I admired most especially their safety systems. Every floor has fire extinguishers and fire reels holes with escape plan. I was two fire sprinklers in my room. This is my first time of seeing this in a hotel room. The amenities are perfect. Restaurant attendants are sociable. One thing that made me walk away the next day was when my key was handed over to me and was asked to go my room. I did not where the elevator was and the receptionist indeed to failed to direct me to the elevator was. I was also not aware of any 150 Canadian dollars deposit. Meanwhile, I had already budgeted for my bill the hotel gave to me. The hotel is now going to keep my money for almost three weeks without interest.

Most important thing bed sheets, were clean and room and toilet were clean. Modern style Perfect A/C Receptionists were really good and professional. The only thing is that i woke up at 7 am due to the sound of the truck in the morning outside my window. Beds are very comfy ๐Ÿ’™ it was a nice one night stay although i woke up at 7 am. But i can go again to it. I stayed again and it was much better beautiful night sleep with clean and calm ambiance. And spacious. Thank you.

Went for breakfast on mothers day and after clearly telling the 2 of us they could not handle any more guests. They agree to let us stay as long as we ate and leave within 30 minutes. Of course the meal didnโ€™t arrive for 15 minutes It was all ok if it was a diner but a hotel in the heart of vaughan no Surprised to see such poor service and attitude. Itโ€™s not a give away. Itโ€™s a business Hospitality is the genre. Be that !!

Hotel is decent and the rooms are well maintained. Staff do not wear masks (especially the night concierge) and allow hotel guests to go around indoors not wearing masks, even large parties of people. Although they boast about covid protocols I didn't find that they followed them here.

Had a great stay. This stay was work related so I had to get up early each day. My only issue was more patron related, this group of hockey kids came in the last night of my stay and were running up and down the corridors and hanging out by the elevator. Unfortunately my room was by the elevator. I called the front desk they came up right away. If I was on holiday probably been ok but 530am wake up I needed my sleep.

We stayed 2 nights and each morning we both agreed that our king size bed was bigger and seriously more comfortable than ours at home, and our beds at home were very expensive! We will be staying here again soon with our grandsons to enjoy the local kids entertainment and restaurants!

Save here for a few nights during the Winter of 2022 - 2023 and found the place to be very pleasant with professional staff. The room is very big and though slowly showing its age is still very comfortable. Very nice beds too (I have a bad back) which is a plus. Shower pressure is fantastic and the bathroom amenities are very nice quality. A bit of a hiccup the first few days with the room card key randomly deactivating itself multiple times but other than that it was all good. All staff encountered were very pleasant and professional. Nice gym and pool in the basement too!

Pleasant stay at this hotel. The room is clean and big. Beds are comfy. Very close to my company. The mall beside is awesome. There's a lot of restaurants around. Lobby and restaurant inside is OK. They have a gym and a pool. The only negative is the in room safe doesn'tl work and so is the tv remote but it's not a big deal.

We just got home from a 2 night stay for a hockey tournament. With a large number of rooms booked for our group, the staff went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable. From allowing our parent group to socialize in their lobby area in order to avoid disturbing other guests in rooms, to providing our group with a late check-out when they learned of the timing for our last game, the entire staff was amazing. This doesn't usually happen with hotels that host tournaments, so we were pleasantly surprised & appreciated their efforts. This hotel appears to be fairly new with a high-end feel to it. Everything was clean & well maintained. Great place to stay.

The hotel is located at a fantastic location. Waking distance (about 10 ish minutes) from Vaughn Mills shopping. The room was large and clean and the washroom was amazing. The front desk were helpful and pleasant. My only disappointment was the hot tub was not open and I wish I was told that upon check in.

Beautiful hotel with clean rooms & nice amenities. The on-site restaurant & close proximity to Vaughn Mills are great as well! They had a nice room to host weddings, conferences etc. too which is a plus. I also appreciated the security / staff being so vigilant and professional and welcoming!

The hotel is family-friendly. Close to amenities, legoland, jungle land, and vaughan mills mall. Wal-Mart is in drivable distance, not walkable. Rooms do not have a microwave. There is no drinking water refill station. A common micro wave is at each floor which I came to know after checkout. They have everyday buffet breakfast but I was told by three different staff at three different times that breakfast buffet is only on weekends. I paid A la carte and then came to know that it is buffet breakfast. Kids eat free with adults. They have swimming pool, gym and sauna which is indoor. Lots of free parking. Room service will refresh only if we ask them to do so. But rooms are big and well maintained. They have hand held showers and mounted showers, but both of them turned on in one room and only hand held turned on in other room.

Ver happy with our stay. We had a large group and everyone has been extremely satisfied. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. From the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping - very pleasant. Ali is fabulous and his customer service skills are top notch. The lobby smells amazing too. Thank you!

I was not impressed. I have stayed at many "budget" hotels that cost half as much and are twice as nice than this hotel. There are many other hotels in the same area that we have stayed at before that are much nicer, but we thought we would try this one as we had never stayed here before, I will not be back. The rooms are small and run down, the hallway smells like weed and the neighbors were noisy. They don't even have microwaves in the room! Who doesn't have that these days?! Very disappointed.

Great overall experience. The only thing i can think of was the lack of closed storage space to put your clothes away. Good vibe, close proximity to the mall and a really cool hangout area in the lobby. Will definitely recommend it if you are visiting the mall for a weekend trip. Also many good restaurants nearby to enjoy a variety of cuisine.

First time here and thought it was great. First time I've swam in a salt water pool. Was enjoyable. Rooms were clean. Spacious. Friendly staff!

This hotel provided a convenient stay in a central location. The rooms were cozy, clean, and offered a comfortable space to rest. The staff was helpful and friendly, providing recommendations when needed. Recommended for a hassle-free stay.

This hotel is very close to Vaughan Mills shopping centre and there are nearby plazas for food and shopping. Location is great nonetheless. The room itself was spacious enough; a desk, one seater, mini fridge and microwave, not to mention the rooms are soundproof. The elevators have a safety factor as you need a key card from your hotel room to tap onto in order for the elevator to start. The day we stayed I noticed the hot water temperature wasn't hot. Showering that evening was horrible as the water barely stayed like warm; I didn't think anything of it besides maybe they were trying to conserve water. The next morning there were no hot water and we had to call front desk which told us some rooms were affected and didn't have hot water but the building manager knew and was fixing it. The best thing they could have done was to notify those without hot water with a slip of a note or a call. Instead we had to call and had a bit of a wait time to get a hold of reception; meaning there were multiple calls regarding the water. I don't understand if the water wasn't working properly why the didn't call someone to fix it the night before; it's a hotel and there are busy people who need to shower and leave early in the morning which I heard many complaints outside my door. Besides the hot water situation I did find a silver fish in the bathroom which was not a pretty sight. The housekeepers are all friendly but the front staff are very monotone and don't see as friendly when checking in or out. But would I stay here again? Most likely.

Clean, very friendly staff, knowledgeable. Modern decorated and appealing to the eye. Towels and bathrobes are very stiff and scratchy. TV remote is very slow and frustrating. No TV Guide or access to paid subscriptions (Netflix, Prime, etc...). I ended up watching on my laptop... Supper menu in restaurant is very good (Pork chop, chicken wings, excellent!) but breakfast is cool to cold. Barely warm (waffles, pancakes and scrambled eggs). Over easy was very runny.

Great stay, comfy beds. Wish the breakfast was included, though. The shower temperature was warm, not hot. I did like that you needed your key card to get to a floor via the elevator. Great for security features. Reasonable price considering we booked very last minute.

The location is good. Easy to access. I wonder the room condition. It is really big enough. So big parking lot which is free. But, no complimentary water.

When looking for a venue to celebrate a very special engagement, The Trio Restaurant atmosphere and stunning waterfall patio caught my eye. What had me convinced was who I dealt with. Milena went above and beyond for us. She explained the various menus, answered ALL my questions, and added so many personal touches. It was a fantastic experience from start to end. The food and presentation was spectacular! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. ***** Donna

Room was clean, quiet and bed was very comfortable :) The most expensive pet deposit Iโ€™ve had, just board your animals if you have them! Their snack bar near front desk has an atm to take out cash but the girl didnโ€™t have any change. Just stared at meโ€ฆ assuming they were expecting a $15 tip because they couldnโ€™t break my bill.

My stay was everything I needed. There was a convenient parking spot, room service was super quick, my room was lovely and I dropped my key cards off for quick checkout. Didn't go in the restaurant but looked like there was a nice patio. Only suggestion, put a better charger option beside the bed.

The front desk clerk was very polite. It's hard to find good customer service . My room was clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel 180 percent.

I hate to give a poor review, because I liked the rooms and the restaurant. But you'll see why. Our shower didn't have a curtain or any water barrier, so each shower we needed several towels to not slip, which the hotel is very stingy with. We had to ask for towels like every hour cause they'd only give you one or two at a time. My only request was to have the bed made the night after I propose (or something special), I even said to apply extra charges but nothing. Came back to our same old messy room after engagement. Pool is tiny and very covid unsafe. The bathrooms don't have a fan. The restaurant staff prioritized another larger table over ours cause it was a larger party (they didn't end up ordering). Was told not to bring a towel down to the pool because there would be plenty.. I had to walk to the lobby soaking wet to ask for more (which never came by the time we left the pool, they wouldn't give at the front desk). And best of all? I paid an Uber to return my lost debit card while I was at wonderland. Told the front desk and they took my name and number and assured me no issue. Next morning, the hotel manager is happy to tell me she SHREDDED MY DEBIT CARD. Then they needed the card to return my deposit ๐Ÿคฃ apparently they only hold card for 1 hour. All the other staff was shocked that the manager shredded my card while on vacation, though. That's so uncool. It really threw a wrench in my plans.

Love this hotel. Love this restaurant. You want good service, stay at this hotel! The General Manager, Revenue Manager, and waitress Shelia were wonderful and positively impacted my stay. Thank you so much for the wonderful service!

Only 1 other table sat on the patio but I had to leave because after being seated, 15 minutes had past and no service. I could see the waiters chatting with each other inside the restaurant and my waiter had no problems serving the other guests. Felt discriminated to be honest.

During the reservation I asked if the pool was working and they said it would be during my stay. When I checked in they said it would not be open. I had no drive so I was stuck at this hotel. Then on the check out day, I had a meeting go long and they continued to interrupt my meeting by continuously knocking on my door, calling the room and my cell. In my opinion very ignorant . I would not recommend this hotel and be careful if the staff and what they say on booking and signing in. Find another spot where they care about your business and well-being .

The room was ok, spacious but over priced for this type of quality. Surprisingly, the suites downtown are much nicer and cheaper than the one here. Our floors were sticky that the slippers they provided us would stick to it as we walked around. Air conditioning system was also very noisy. Will most likely consider staying elsewhere next time.

Used them for a accommodations after my wedding, they were generally good but the deadline for booking rooms was not well communicated to us and was fairly far before the wedding date. We had several guests with issues booking a couple weeks before the date. Service during the stay was good, accommodations with fairly nice but not perfect, and the restaurant was nice

We were at the Novotel in Vaughan for three nights and had a delightful stay. The staff was most gracious and helpful when needed. Check-in and out was breeze. Adherence to COVID requirements made me feel safe and comfortable staying here during a family celebration

I am Super Happy with my stay at this hotel . From having a bad experience at another hotel my husband and I came here was extremely happy we did. The staff Yassir and Nebraska are super caring, helpful, professional and made our stay at the hotel a very pleasant one. The overall cleanness is super clean, the rooms are spacious and quiet . I have nothing but good reviews on this hotel. Highly recommend to anyone. Will be coming back for sure. Happy Customer Marleen and Brian

The Hotel has a nice appearance, clean, quiet. But was cold My room was on the 6 floor, the room had a petrochemical-based smell, that I couldn't place for a while. I discovered the when the extreamly noisy heater shut off. Cold air poured into the room. The petrochemical-based smell was coming from that vent. Guessing gas leaking on the roof top. The restraunt staff were wonderful. The food selection terrible. I question if the kitchen is even live. It seems all the food served was pre prepared. And expensive. A Burger was 18.99, cheese $5 bacon $5 fries $6. A beer $10. Total of $45.00 plus taxes and 20% gratuity.

Fantastic venue that checks all the boxes and even some you may not know you need. Great location. All staff are so attentive and professional, knowledgeable and incredible attention to detail. End to end service top shelf next level! I can't wait to call on them again for event/meeting support as I will be very confident of hosting a successful meeting here utilizing Av/tech support for a combined in person and remote meeting!! Dont go anywhere else!!

If you want a $270/night room that stinks of cigarettes then this is the hotel for you. The smell is so strong and is embedded in everything including the pillows.I wish I could open a window. Aside from the smell that you can't escape, the room is quite basic, but fairly well kept and for one night it's OK. I chose this hotel over the others nearby because it's next door to where I needed to be and it offered breakfast, and I didn't mind the higher price for that convenience. It's 3:40am and I'm still awake, partly due to the smell, so I have no idea what to expect from the breakfast. Pretty hard to mess up a basic breakfast. Fingers crossed.

We originally booked our wedding block with Novotel in 2019, with covid we rebooked twice and it was fairly seamless. I will mention the rooms were only held up until a month before the wedding which I found odd and this is the first time I experienced this, as a guest that other weddings rooms were often held up until the day before. As a result and because of Covid many of our guests did not start to think about accommodations until two weeks or the week of the wedding wedding. I booked the room for my husband and I I did within the specific time of the month prior, when I called in I did request if we could have a bit of a larger room king bed with a couch area to lay out my dress as it was quite big we were assured not a problem and could be accommodated. A week before the wedding date we called in and asked if we could book another room at the guest rate a room with two queen beds as we had four people coming from out of country of an older age and needed overnight commendations again it was booked no problem the room with the two queen beds was paid with a credit card under my name but the reservation was under the name of those for guests. We sent our guests with a note and copy of the reservation. upon check-in after the wedding at around 3 AMReception informed us that we had already checked in earlier that day this was incorrect and there was quite a bit of an argument as it was said multiple times that it was our error not theirs upon showing them the receipts for the bookings it was clear it was their error there was no acknowledgement and no compensation while we were provided with a king room after initially being told we could only have the two queens our card with swipe and we were given a king room but not to the specifications as previously requested. Our four guests were also quite uncomfortable as they were in a king room with one bed when two beds were needed they are elderly and do not speak English as a first language and weโ€™re not comfortable saying something and at 3 AM clearly it could not be rectified as they were sleeping. In the end this extremely soured the experience

We are currently staying at this hotel till the end of the week. Were from Newbrunswick and came here for vacation with the family to canadas wonderland. This is an excellent hotel, super clean, quite, professional and over all one of the best hotels we have stayed at. All the staff are super friendly and professional and go out of their way to make sure your stay is nothing but extremely extraordinary.

Should be locks on bathroom and would be nice to have a microwave in the room. Though there was a communal next to the ice maker on the same floor. Ac was extremely noisey for 2.5-3hr from 11:00 2:30am. It stopped after that point. Otherwise ok for a nights stay

Stayed their end of summer for a business trip. For the price paid I was not impressed. Asked the staff a few times to look into some thing for me, they promised they would do it but never got back. Rooms where long and narrow, bath room very small, pool smelled like chlorine big time. For just a place to sleep at its ok. Only great thing was that it super close to the mall.

  • 5/5 Alex P. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms (and carpet) are clean and spacious. The attached restaurant has a lot of good options for breakfast and lunch/dinner, also has a coffee bar. Hotel is close to the mall and a lot of other food options. Easy to get in and out of, none of that Vaughan traffic.
