Great hotel. Had a room on the top floor with a beautiful view. Bed was huge, and so comfortable. The room was super clean and stocked. The housekeeping staff was SO SWEET and helpful, and they delivered extra pillows to my room around midnight. I arrived late, and the hotel restaurant was about to close, but they still allowed me to put in an order really late, and had it ready for me to come and get - and the food was delicious (I ordered fried haddock). Aroma Espresso Bar across the street is a must try - so delicious! The hotel was very quiet too. The fitness center was nice too. The area was nice and safe and clean, and I could walk to other restaurants. Only downfall was you have to pay for parking, $10 per overnight across the street or in the hotel garage. Overall 10/10, I highly recommend Novotel.

I am in utter shock. Having grown up in the hotel business, When I was asked to leave the lobby of the Novotel Toronto North York this evening, I was completely taken aback. I was quietly working on my computer and there was nobody else waiting for chairs etc... The fellow who booted me was very nice and polite. I was dressed nicely and sometimes I like to have a coffee and work in the lobby of a hotel. Maybe because I grew up in hotels it is a soothing place to be on my laptop and do some work. I was friendly and I didn't make any telephone calls. I let the fellow know that in all of my years and all of my travels, And there have been many! I also had a cousin stay there a couple of weeks ago on my suggestion. I have never been told I had to leave for any reason. I had a suitcase with me because I was debating checking in but couldn't decide. This is a first for me and I would like to know if this is the policy of Novotel corporate or if this was a random decision by a desk clerk. I look forward to your reply and I will not stay, recommend or work in your lobby again. PS I was using my own hot spot and not the hotel's internet either. From 0 stars to 7 star hotels I have never received this treatment in 50 years of work and travel.

The hotel's website and it's 4-star Google rating are very misleading. During our stay, there were wires dangling from a hole in the ceiling. The bathroom fixtures were falling off the wall along with an outlet and cord covering. There is mold or mold staining in the bathroom. There are bleach stains on the carpets and food crumbs on the desk, left from a previous guest. This is from a hotel claims to be "ALLSAFE" approved and during a pandemic. During our stay, automatic credit card processing wasn't working and hadn't for the entire week. The wireless internet required a technical workaround to function. This hotel is sloppy, old and outdated. Staying here is not worth the trouble, despite it's good location.

Booking this hotel for our first-time clients to Canada turned out to be a fantastic decision. Every client left with a smile, raving about the convenient location with easy transportation options. The vicinity was a treasure trove of shops and restaurants, adding to the charm and convenience of their stay. The rooms were the epitome of cleanliness, providing a serene retreat after a day of exploration. But it was the warmth and helpfulness of the hotel staff that truly made their experience memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to Canada! Highly recommended for all travelers.

We decided on the Novotel in North York because it looked like a nice hotel. However when we got there, there was almost no space to pull in off the street. We went inside to get a room number and ask about parking. We stood there for about 25 minutes while they just typed in their computers trying to get us a room I guess (that we had already booked and paid for online). They barely offered us an apology despite how long it took. We finally got our room cards and went to park. We drive a truck. If you drive a truck with ANY lift in it, do not park in the garage. Ours is the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer. We barely (and I mean barely) made it under and I’m pretty sure there is no lift in our truck. The whole parking garage has like so many things that hang down. The antenna on the truck was constantly being bent while driving through. It’s very low. Our room was alright, it had a nice view, which was probably the best thing about the whole stay. The shower was leaking and the toilet almost always seemed like it wouldn’t flush. There was also people yelling and screaming during the night. We woke up in the morning for breakfast. I want to warn everyone, this isn’t continental. It’s a buffet and looks like it’s continental. But it’s 33$ a plate. We would’ve just skipped it if we knew. Only helpful staff we had was Rakida at the front desk in the morning. She was pleasant and they couldn’t validate our parking so we paid down in the garage under her advisement. Safe to say we will not be returning.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, so it wasn't a complete disaster. But it was SO HOT in our room, and even when we set the thermostat at 5C, it felt like a sauna. (This was in October, so it was nice and cool outside.) The temperature was also a problem in other guest rooms, and in the meeting rooms downstairs. Our room also did not have any overhead lights, only the two tiny reading lamps and a small desk lamp. There were bleach stains on the carpet outside the bathroom; the paint in the bathtub was peeling. And our key cards randomly stopped working more than once. They advised us on check-in not to keep them near phones or computers, which we didn't, but they still stopped working, and when we went to have one of them replaced, the new one didn't work and we had to have IT replaced. This wasted a lot of time. We were at the hotel for a training event. The hotel provided sack lunches, which were pretty meager (a small sandwich, a beat-up granola bar, and a soda--and you couldn't pick your soda). They also did not have our room set up so our first training session started late, and as mentioned before, the room was very hot. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I can't believe the prices they charge for such subpar accommodations.

Live bed bugs on the bed in room 916. I had the most traumatizing experience staying at this hotel. Went to bed to see a bed bug crawling across the duvet. I found 2 and killed them. It was after midnight and I packed up to stay somewhere else. I have had to incur expenses to discard of anything that had exposure in the room and that had close contacr to the bed as well as steaming, dry cleaning and sanitizing washing everything to avoid an infestion in my home. I was under the impression by the hotel specifically the Housekeeping manager that they would rectify the situation knowing how stressful the situation was. I have been given the run around for a month since I have submitted my incurred costs to deal with staying at their hotel. At this point I have received no resolution and the general manager's email address generates an automatic reply with another person's email. This new email sends back an error message saying the email can't be sent. It is very unfortunate that this is how the hotel is treating the situation. I will never stay at another Novotel hotel and I traveled for weeks this summer staying at half a dozen hotels and have never experienced bed bugs. The negligence in housekeeping to not have inspected the bed is not acceptable and the lack of customer service to address the situation reflects the hotel's lack of pride in their customer service and professionalism.Show

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare countless hotel sites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. Excellent location matched with excellent service. Best service and accommodation in North York. Always treated as part of the family. Top Front end, especially MIKHAIL KOROLKO, Front Office Manager. As a disabled senior we have been treated with respect and excellent care, THANK YOU

Room was hot, without possibility to cool it down, but hallways were cool so this doesn't make sense when staff told us it is because we switched to winter system. Shower leaking, I used most my towels to clean bathroom - I told staff but they did nothing to fix it. Toilet didn't flash mostly time as the tank was not filled the water from previous time. And the final thing - our payment information was lost and I spend time to fixing it. Contacting workplace to send the information again.

Rooms are so outdated, marks on walls and floors makes you feel like you’re in a dirty room, walls are discoloured and dirty, bathroom is odd and needs a proper door and renovations. Just did not feel clean at all. Had many occasions where my key card would just stop working and had to go downstairs multiple times for them to fix our cards! Parking is also $21 per night… spend an extra couple hundred to stay elsewhere that actually puts effort into making their rooms feel and look clean!

We had a group block at the Novotel for our wedding, and myself, my husband, and his parents rented the suites on the top floor. The suites were absolutely stunning and a very reasonable rate for the group discount. Other rooms were nice and comfortable. Most of the staff were helpful, the rooms were clean and pretty, and we had ample space. My only complaints are that the parking isn't cheap and is a little confusing, and a few of our guests were told it would be $30 to check in just an hour early even though we were told the rooms were already clean and ready.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING BOOKING SUITES/ROOMS FOR A WEDDING!! I am very dissatisfied by the lack of professionalism this hotel upkeeps. The staff is clearly incompetent. I was apart of a wedding party which all guests booked this hotel specifically. Many people came from outside the province. Myself, I live 10 minutes away. Why as guests do we request a late check out and put a do not disturb sign on the door but housekeeping was pounding my door at 11am? Are the staff unable to read the signs within the hotel that they use every day? On top of this when the bridal party arrived for their suite to get ready in the early AM the staff didn’t have the suite and tried to put 12 people in a single bed room to get ready for the wedding, although a suite was booked specifically. The service is horrible, staff do not take any responsibility for their actions and what future guests need to do is stay away from this hotel completely. I would not waste $238 including taxes for a single bed at this place. When we brought our concerns to front desk the manager was not helpful, the staff at front desk also incompetent. And I definitely will not recommend any one I know to stay at this place. I left this hotel upset, tired and stressed out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

I got this place for the sauna, but it was being renovated. No refund given. The location is fantastic, the rooms are a bit dodgy. The mattress under my sheets were a bit gross, tons of scuff marks and a giant random hole in the bedside table. The gym has no ventilation, and is pretty hot but the equipment is reasonable - 2 or 3 treadmills, some dumbbells up to 40pds and a few machine. They have towel service luckily. Wifi/internet speed was 10mbps which is a bit of a joke.

I gave one star to this hotel not because of the room or service! I booked online and they insisted that they are not deducting any amount from my credit card, and this is just to guarantee, but when I checked in I realised that the amount for one night was deducted AND again the amount of one night+deposit was deducted !!! So 700 something was deducted from my credit card!!! When I asked, they just said oh it will be back in your account within 7 to 10 days, if not you can call your bank! Just wanted to share my experience, it may help someone, not happy with my stay

The hotel was clean and very nicely updated. Staff were nice and helpful. The room were smallish but I understand that is what we pay for and it is in a very congested part of the am city. The biggest issue we had was the pool being CLOSED WITH NO NOTICE. When you have two kids you always book a hotel based on having a pool. Everybody knows this. When you advertise having a pool, then it needs to be open. I understand closing it for whatever maintenance is needed BUT please tell me about it before I check in at 10pm for two nights! That’s ridiculous and very unprofessional. No notice on your website. No notice when I booked the room two weeks in advance or in any correspondence leading up to check in. Not cool Novotel. N it even an offer to make up for the gesture with a free breakfast, free parking, a few extra towels in the room!! Nothing. Will definitely be remembered next time I need a room and have to decide between Novotel and anybody else

The rooms are clean, spacious and tidy. The main area is carpeted while the bathroom is tiled. I stayed in room 604 for three nights in late-July and was easily able to make myself very comfortable three cats. I did not make of use of the extra amenities available, but I found the front desk staff is be consistently excellent. The location, shortly of being in the middle of downtown Toronto, is fabulous! A short two minute walk will take you to the North York Centre subway station, giving you easy access to the rest of the city. Love this pet friendly hotel! Very much looking forward to staying at the Novotel Toronto-North York again!

Swimming pool was advertised but not available to use, rooms were nice but small, minor broken facilities like the tap handle slightly coming out of the tap itself. Beds were comfortable though. And the breakfast was great, with the staff being friendly.

A female staff member disturbed me from my sleep, even though I had the "do not disturb" sign on, because she demanded to see "the item that she left in my room"?! She had such an entitled and aggressive attitude. Upon realizing she had the wrong room number, she did not apologize at all. Completely unacceptable. 😤 very disappointed that they don't value guests' comfort despite the exorbitant price. The location was very convenient. The make frontdesk staff was very courteous.

Great location. Just off Yonge street yet quiet and conveniently located near Hwy 401 . Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well appointed and my king size bed was very comfy. Restaurant serves tasty food and the service is outstanding. Will stay here again. 5 stars all the way.

Took an hour to check in, only one desk person who spoke English as a second language and couldn't converse outside her common known phrases.... she would just repeat the phrase even if it was nonsensical and irrelevant to the question. Bathroom didn't have a lock, doorknob, or exhaust vent! And door was glass so easy to see in. Blood stain on sheets discovered on 3rd night. Small and old TV with menu buttons that were non functioning. Paper cups (no wrapping) stacked above toilet isn't a sanitary thing to do. This is an office building conversion which is still under construction. They put a drop bin blocking access and visibility to the underground parking which is a genius move. The underground parking doesn't directly connect to the hotel which means you park, then walk through a shopping mall to go into the hotel. Somehow this is still a process the hotel struggles to explain to people. The elevator has signs that say not to touch the wall or the elevator will get stuck and you can't get out for an hour until a tech shows up. Our room became quite warm at night and when we used the thermostat to bring the temperature down the AC system hadn't been run for a while and the exhaust which was pumping the new air into our room smelled of gear oil and exhaust smoke, so needless to say we turned it off and everyone slept on top of the sheets. The Manager lied to our large group multiple times and contradicted the employees. Lobby is crazy hot which makes an uncomfortable experience standing in line (8 people at one point) wanting to check in after coming in from outside. Location was great with lots of food places open late. Meeting room was made available to the adults which was appreciated. Bed was comfortable. No alarm clock was weird, yes everyone has a phone but alarm clocks provide a secondary wake up call that can be set by the visitor. No view from window (not a big deal for us).

Mid range hotel, nice enough staff, particularly friendly at breakfast and made you feel welcome. My flight was a bit later than planned and had wanted to grab room service at 9.30pm when i arrived, but they stopped serving at 9pm, which was a little disappointing. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance however, so not the end of the world. The rooms were modern with a reasonably high end feel, lacking in personality but in line with what you would expect for a Novotel. Nothing bad, nothing to write home about.

I stayed here due to the proximity for my business trip. A few things, 1. Why do you offer an online express service if I have to do the same thing and take 20 mins to check in? It's an awful experience. 2. My room was awful, no privacy as I opened my curtains and BAM someone working in their office staring at me. 3. The showers need a manual, not user friendly. It took me forever to figure out how to turn it on. 4. No hot water. The water ran very luke warm, never hot. 5. The rooms appeared dirty and dated. 6. Please add additional security locks. 7. Why is there no fitted sheet? Just a weird top sheet. Makes for an uneasy sleep.

Every member of staff, from housekeeping to those serving in the restaurant were warm, welcoming, and willing to work around our schedule. The location of the hotel, with easy access to the subway and the highway, was also appreciated.

Staff were extremely accommodating, polite and friendly. Adam who was working breakfast each morning. Made sure myself and my colleagues were taken care of. It was amazing to have him there each morning! Thanks for your hospitality Adam and North York staff!

Novotel at North York Centre is a great hotel. Reasonable rates, rooms are clean and comfortable, very convenient to shopping and dozens of restaurants on Yonge Street, plus with a direct connection to the subway station, you are 15 minutes from the heart of downtown. The staff are pleasant, friendly and very helpful. I have stayed there before when visiting Toronto, and I will return on my next visit.

I would be happy to stay again. My only complaint is that the AC never cooled the room. The fan ran the entire time, but the refrigeration never kicked in. I tried lowering the setting on the thermostat each night, but the air temp coming out of the unit was unchanged. By the time I realized it wasn't ever going to warm up, I wasn't in the mood to call for maintenance to look into it.

Nice location. Close to shopping centers. The room is clean and quiet. I like the duvet in the cover but not the sheet. And most of all, they use environmental friendly hygiene products.

No frills 3-star hotel. Was debating between a 3 or 4 rating, probably a 3.5. The room was clean, spacious and had a Nespresso machine which surprised me as it was not advertised. I had an executive room which was a little dated but the bed was comfortable and everything worked as it should

An extremely frustrating experience First, I need to say that the staff was pleasant, the hotel was in good condition and the room was spacious. The location is great, not entirely close to the city center but with excellent access to nearby shops, restaurants, all that you need to get around as well as a direct connection to the city center. However, overall this continues to be an extremely frustrating experience. I am not sure what is going on there. This comes from a longstanding Accor loyalty program Member. Here you go: 1. Three of us booked three separate rooms, individually. Each and every one of us booked a breakfast included room. However, when we went there, we have been told that our bookings do not include breakfast. We have all checked with each other and each of us had the same issue. An extremely frustrating situation. 2. The response for any support is so bad. Ten days more than three weeks after my stay, and after so many emails without reply, I am unable to obtain a receipt for my stay, and my points and nights credits have not been added to my account. Unfortunately, this has been quite a negative experience.

The hotel is well located in North York and overall, a good experience. After a bit of confusion on checking in the room was large, clean and comfortable but in need of a makeover to make it perfect. The day staff overall were friendly, helpful and professional. I would not hesitate to stay there again if returning to Toronto.

We traveled to Toronto on the train and took the subway to the hotel. Found that process easy and hassle free. Location is quite good and surrounded by all sorts of amenities. Service was good, quick, efficient, and polite. Our room was clean and quiet. For a couple of weary travelers it was just what we needed. Next time I am planning a return trip I will look at this location very seriously.

  • 1/5 Jason K. 8 months ago on Google
A nice hotel with great views and easy access to public transportation. The rooms were a little small, but the location, ease of access to public transportation and price more than made up for it. Will probably stay here again if we ever travel back to Toronto.

We had a nice cozy room with a king bed but the bed wasn’t very comfortable and it didn’t have a top sheet, just a comforter, seemed strange for sanitary reasons I guess. shower had shampoo and body wash but no conditioner. Small fridge in room, room safe, no microwave. Coffee in the room was not good but that seems typical for hotel room coffee. Parking was an additional $21, breakfast wasn’t included but is available for $22 and is a buffet. Good location. Would stay again.

Stayed at Novotel Toronto North York and was thoroughly impressed. Spotless rooms, convenient location, and a swift check-in process. The staff's dedication to guest comfort is evident. The strategic location of the hotel adds another feather to its cap. Nestled in North York, it boasts a convenient proximity to a plethora of dining options, shopping havens, and Toronto's key attractions. This made our explorations seamless, given the reduced need for extensive commuting. Plus, for those days when you just want to take it easy, the surrounding area offers enough to keep one entertained. Highly recommended for a Toronto visit!

A good 3-star property. Although the interiors are getting old, the service is excellent. Their food menu is also well put together. A good place to stay for vacation with family or business trip if you need to be in the North York area. Their conference rooms are good and well planned for large or small events. Attached image of the Gibson Room.

Stayed here while visiting Toronto from England, best hotel we have ever stayed in. Service was amazing, housekeeping incredible and lovely to talk too. Great access to the subway for getting around. Beautiful rooms with beautiful views and great amenities around North York. Great experience, quality staff, friendly. Amenities were great and all we needed in our brief stay. Excellent hotel. There should b 3 staff working checkin especially between 3pm-8pm. We arrived late for our venue because of long wait to checkin (20-30 mins). Would b nice if pool/hot tub was fixed as well or not advertised/discount for inconvenience. Price was expensive but its Toronto.

When checking out, they had me booked for 3 nights when my confirmation email said one night only. Only one over welmed girl at the front desk for a Saturday afternoon eventually fixed it.( she said she would waive the parking fee 24 dollars but was still charged it) But another guest seemed to have a problem with their parking ticket. There was a 30 mins line up just to leave the underground parking lot on top of this. Seemed like every other car couldn't get the gate to open. It was very frustrating as we were in a hurry. The room seemed updated. But there were stains on the sheets, and our view was of 10 construction workers right out our window on the roof.

Everything was good. Had to change my plans and there were no problems. Only suggestion is, rooms seem a little dated. Maybe the place needs a reboot. Also stayed at the Southampton Novotel. We like Novotel.

The housekeeping was below standard. There was some condom wrappers, food and other things left behind the bed. The manager thought a 20$ morning breakfast would suffice to make up for it. I paid close to 300$/night. We came to an understanding. He was very receptive.. However their housekeeping needs improvements.

We stayed here the weekend of our wedding. We got a suite, which turned out to be quite large. The suite was clean and we had no complaints about it. We actually had no complaints at all about our entire stay. The staff were courteous, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed a swim in the pool followed by a sauna. The hotel is not the fanciest but it is very clean and centrally located for North York. I would recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay, all staff exceptionally welcoming, calm and professional (the maintenance men said hello, held the lift, they too made us feel welcome. The \room was very clean but the bathroom needs to be updated and renovated (hint: replace the whole shower enclosure, new shower heads that convert low pressure into higher pressure). Slept well, great linen and the room very comfortable. Had a lovely buffet breakfast, Maria was our server and just great, intuitive and on top of those little extra touches little touches that you only notice if they don't happen. Thank you Maria. However, the owners need to invest a little money to bring everything up to a higher level, replace the showers, spend some money in the restaurant and change the chairs (all stuffed on the legs and time for replacement), better lighting as a bit grey. Wouldn't take much time or money, a fresh coat of paint as the restaurant is a bit dreary. Overall a lovely stay, location is great and the the surrounding area is alive and fun in the evening. Definitely recommend.

I opted to stay here for a night because I had some All Accor points that I had wanted to use up. Overall, really good stay. The walls seem to be properly insulated as I didn’t hear much exterior noise. The rooms were very clean, the large shower was incredible after a long haul flight and the bed was very comfy. I’d gotten in later than planned so didn’t have time to check out any amenities. I’d had dinner at the restaurant as well, good food but limited menu I suppose due to Covid. There’s also a mall, loblaws, quite a few restaurants, and the North York subway stop within walking distance which is very convenient.

Friendly staff, nice facilities, and surprisingly comfortable beds. Room was a bit stuffy, and adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to do anything, but overall, decent stay.

Great location, lovely pool and sauna area, has a breajfaplace in the hotel and entry to the subway without needing to leave the hotel. Keep in mind the vents bring in air feom the outside, so it'll feel cold in the halls, nothing major just uncomfy if after a day out in the cold 😁😁😁

Not a great experience, overall. -Flashing light above the bed kept me up. -only 1 blanket, that was too heavy. Too hot with it on, too cold with it off -The "Pet room" had a small nook behind the bathroom sink, and we couldn't get our cat out of there, all night. -Had to go to 4 floors before I found a working ice machine. -TV's HDMI ports inaccessible, so couldn't hook up my own device

Been to this hotel dozens of times. Seen it go downhill over the years. Very strange that the rooms have no fan for the washroom, let alone an actual closed door. Not conducive for couples. Also only one outlet, on one side of the bed? Bathroom was in great need of repair. Ceiling falling apart, major calcium build up, etc. Shower pressure was abismal. Main attraction is the subway is in the building. Will try a new place next time.

First time at the hotel and went for business trip. The lobby is basic and the service was poor at the reception. - The room was small but fine. the bathroom was old and not well maintained. there was a weird smell everytime I went in the room. - heating was BAD, couldn't set the heater to make the room warm, at night it got really cold even with a higher temperature set. - Cleaning is done every 72 hours and the reason CoVid..CoVid should make cleaning more frequent or it s a way for them to cut on cost. - the hallway is even colder, cold air hits you the moment you leave your room Overall, this hotel has the location very good but nothing else makes me go there again

I was here for two nights with work and couldn't be happier. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. My room was spotless and super comfortable. During my stay, they were helpful and flexible with my schedule changes and were always happy to resupply me with my much needed coffee. It's definitely worth staying if you're in the North York region. Thank you!

A perfect location in uptown Toronto. Easy access from the 401/407. Underground parking with EV chargers too!! Direct access to the subway and many green spaces nearby for walking or running.

I had a great stay. Just like any other hotel. But Ishita from the front desk went above and beyond for providing us with everything we need. Answered all our questions. She’s very kind and nice. Most polite front desk ever. Thank you Ishita.

Recently spent the night at the hotel and it was lovely, clean and quiet. The area is great for picking food since the hotel food services are closed due to Covid. Also wanted to mention the woman at the front desk when I checked out, her name was Joanna and she was absolutely wonderful, kind and gentle. Would definitely come back and I recommend it to others!

It was one of the best hotels I visited, Staff is so helpful and friendly. They help us a lot during our stay. The rooms are immaculate. I am impressed with the hospitality. They are following all the covid protocol. I will visit again soon. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience 😊

ok the staff here is very kind but it's way over priced for what you get. The pool is currently closed but beyond that it's a very basic hotel with outdated furnishings and some rooms are extremely loud due to road traffic or construction. I will say I love the location for all the fun restaurants within walking. But guys...425$ a night after taxes and parking price tag for a basic room in north York...it would be so much more doable for 250. I'd stay all the time then on my Toronto trips. Just my thoughts!

Was there due to a dance competition nearby, it was the only hotel close by. Staff was very nice and accommodating to requests and questions. Pool was not in the best shape, they were having some water quality issues when we were there, really cloudy water. Exercise facility was small but sufficient, we did not try the on-site restaurant but food did look good. Lots of other restaurants nearby so great location.

It may look nice from the pictures but it wasn’t all that great. You would think the standard would be bottom sheet, top sheet, duvet. But not this place it’s only the bottom sheet and duvet. The bottom sheet didn’t even fit the bed. Also the mirrors are only useful if you’re like 5ft11. If you’re under that… looks like you’re not going to be able to use the mirror

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for about a week and the hotel was located perfectly from VELD Music Festival. The rooms are clean and house keeping kept up daily for the week that we stayed here. The location is pretty nice. Shopping malls within walking distance and some awesome Japenese restaurants!! There is a Starbucks next door as well. The front desk was professional and handled any requests we asked for. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area.

Nice hotel, the room we stayed in was very tight. A basic 2 queen bed room and we had to walk single file. Nice and clean though. Front desk associates were kind and let us check in early and gave us a discount on parking. Very convenient location as it’s right in the center of downtown North York. By the bathrooms in the lobby there are tons of coupons but watch out, some were expired.

We had a great time at this hotel! Having read some of the reviews I was a bit concerned, but was pleasantly surprised and would say they've corrected anything that may have been an issue before. The room was very clean, modern, loved the beds, fluffy robes in the closet, fridge with a selection of waters, very nicely renovated bathroom, modern shower with a rainwater faucet, and good toiletries. The restaurant was also great for breakfast and all the staff were very accommodating. Plus the location is fantastic in how it's connected right to the subway concourse and it was so easy to take the Yonge line downtown, or just walk out to Young and Sheppard with lots of shopping and restaurants too. Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Toronto!

Staff was friendly, it’s in the same building as a subway station so it’s easy to get around the city. But, if you enjoy comfy beds I wouldn’t stay here. My boyfriend and I both woke up to our backs and heads on fire because the bed is about as comfortable as the floor. The toilet has been running nonstop since we arrived, the bathtub is peeling, and the thermostat in the room doesn’t work. So my boyfriend woke up with hives each morning due to heat. We asked for extra pillows from the front desk and they said they didn’t have anymore. I tried to take a bath, but had chunks of the bathtub floating next to me. Also, I’m 5’2 and am too long for the bathtub. It was clearly built for children and that’s it.

The staff were extremely nice. The food was very good and the waiters, especially Adam and the guy who makes the morning omelettes were an absolute delight! Clean, and super accommodating to people with disabilities as well. I wish I knew of them sooner! 10/10

We didn't stay in the hotel, but attended a one day event there. The catering staff were excellent, the food was great and the ease at finding the meeting room and other amenities was a bonus. It was actually nice to see a venue offer clean, well-kept, and locked washrooms exclusively for guests of the hotel and attendees of the event.

This hotel was probably very nice 10 years ago, but needs some updating. My room smelled musty at check-in and the heat was set so high I had to turn it off completely and it took a day to cool down inside. The shower took awhile to figure out and was not super intuitive. There was no fitted sheet on the bed so I was often worried I would pull the regular sheet off while I was sleeping. All ice machines except one were broken and the vending machine was out of water so it felt impossible to get even water to drink. That being said, the staff were friendly and the location was convenient for where I was working and needed to commute too.

Had an amazing visit! Room was very clean as was the bathroom. Had a great shower, nice bed very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Underground parking only $21/night and felt very safe. Excellent location with subway station attached to hotel! A Starbucks is less than a block away and open very early. Made it so easy for us to enjoy a couple of days in Toronto without stressing about expense and availability of parking in downtown core. Would highly recommend!

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Room is a bit small especially if you're traveling with pet, but very clean and nice park across the hotel where you can bring your dog. Convenient location and convenience of underground paid parking garage. Enjoyed our stay

The best part of the hotel is the location. It's near fantastic Asian restaurants, subway stations, and some grocery stores. The room though.. It wasn't very clean even after housekeeping came by. Would've appreciated a microwave too. It was oftentimes cold and there was no fan in the bathroom. The gym was small and the machines were old and noisy. The front desk were always friendly and helpful though. Not worth the price

Great location off of Yonge St with many restaurants, theatre, amenities surrounding. Subway nearby and the highway is no more than 10 mins away.

Hotel staff was okay. Wouldn’t say they go above and beyond. Hotel is very outdated for the price listed, as well as having to pay additional for parking. Bathroom showers need to be updated, coating peeling off. Our first room the mattress was stained and indented. Second room was much better however, we didn’t even get a chance to sit on the mattress the bed frame literally broke and collapsed. They were unable to fix this. No microwaves and very small mini refrigerator. Would not stay here again.

Small rooms with too soft mattress. Swimming pool unavailable. Take your own shower gel and shampoo as they will provide very minimal qty. Impossible to know when they will clean the room, it looked a bit of a random. The good point is that you are near a mall and subway, so very easy to reach any place. I suggest to avoid breakfast being very expensive compared to food prices in the city. Personnel has always be very kind
