Wouldn’t recommend this location. Over all mediocre hotel and ok rooms that accompanied what we needed for a March break trip with kids. Hot tub was closed, pool I don’t think is properly maintained due to children getting rashes after swimming, and their overly advertised free breakfast that’s included in your stay was not offered to us for some reason. Wifi kept cutting out and didn’t work the best. I would’ve rather spent a little more money and went else where for better accommodations.

extremely bad experience with front desk staff. the hotel room itself is good, but at front desk, a guy called Augustine was extremely unhelpful and rude. his manager, an Asian lady, was also rude. this is definitely not the warm welcome i usually receive at other Hilton worldwide properties.

Stayed here a few times when I had to work late and didn’t want to drive home. It’s a good convenient location. Rooms are spacious enough. But when I stayed there was no room service for breakfast. Also bedding wasn’t very comfortable. The heat and AC also worked a bit odd. I’m pretty sure the temperature in the room was lower than I set but the heat would only run for a short duration at a time. Toiletries product quality is really low. I’ll try somewhere different next time.

Family vacation for 2 nights. Lobby was nicely decorated and the desk clerks were always very friendly and polite. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Color theme of the room not my taste, but everything was clean and comfy. Easy to find close on-site parking. We've stayed at like 6 or 7 different hotels in this area. This is in my top 2 and would stay here again.

While I was sleeping in my room, the cleaners entered my room without knocking. When I asked the front desk why the cleaners didn't knock when they entered the room, they said they didn't know. While I was on the phone, my room door was opened again by the cleaner and I was shocked because I was not wearing any clothes and it had happened twice in a short period of time. The receptionist's explanation: "We didn't know you were staying today, and a simple apology." When I ask if the cleaners are trained to knock at any time before entering a room, they always come back and say they don't know. I was disappointed in the way they handled the situation, even though they did not care about it, even when I went down to the front desk without any explanation, if I had not brought it up they would have treated it as if nothing had happened. I probably wouldn't hold the cleaners responsible for that, because I understand how hard they work. But I feel sorry for the mistake and the hotel's evasion of responsibility. I'm just coming from Vancouver for a few days, so I definitely won't be staying here again. If this is the case for all the training of this hotel chain, then I will definitely consider it carefully.

Dated rooms, worn linens littered with dark strands of hair, terrible pillows, luke-warm shower (the fix was to leave all the water running on "hot" to bring in more warm water...didn't work). Coffee maker didn't function, mini fridge was warm on the cold setting. At least the in room thermostat worked to heat the space. Service was basic and offered limited consolation. The main kitchen was old with a limited dining space. Bar and lounge were the nicest part. Glad the stay was covered by work and that I had a place to sleep

Clean and comfortable but the prices are out of the roof. The one king room here is the same price as you would receive in downtown Toronto or in Manhattan. They killed my interest in staying here since this early summer time. I don’t even check availability at this hotel when need to travel to the Greater Toronto area any more.

Convenience location and the staffs are nice. The room decoration is quite outdated but fine to me. I came here for staycation and celebrate birthday. Maybe it is a summer now, the price is quite expensive, almost same price as those 4 stars hotels. Will I come back? Probably yes, but not in peak season!

Our family stayed here for one night July 26-27, 2022. I would not be staying here ever again. The hotel does not meet the Hilton standards. The hot tub was not operational. The handrail heading into the pool was in disrepair. The pool water was very, very cloudy. I decided not to take photos of our family because the state of the pool was embarrassing. When I called to address the issue, the front desk staff stated that the pool required chemicals, but it was safe to swim in. He stated that he would get someone to come speak to me, but no one ever came. I also noted that there were rocks in the pool that were thrown into the pool by guests from the planters around the pool. The pool deck was also dirty with hair and things left behind by other guests. The sheets on one of the beds were soiled and felt like there was some gritty stuff on them and felt like we were sleeping in sand on the sheets. The staff were friendly on arrival and departure. We had breakfast at the restaurant. The food was decent. The staff working was trying her best to tend to the guest needs, but was overwhelmed with the number of guests. I feel that there should be more than two employees working. The manager discounted us 15% which did not compensate us for the state of the property. Stay away!!!

Always happy with Hilton. Very reasonable, predictable great service. A few bucks more but staying loyal to a brand that stays loyal to us is worth it. Trip was unexpected for us and they happily provided us toothbrushes and shaving blades. Very friendly and professional team.

Good hotel overall, the thing that bothered us was that the windows are industrial and could not be opened, and are never opened to let fresh air in. The rooms had a closed specific smell, which definitely means there is no fresh air. AC doesn't help with that. The windows must be opened for fresh air, so the bacteria will dry out and rooms to have a fresh smell. Overall, it was great service. Please take this as advice and do something about it. Thank you!

I don’t like this hotel’s service. It looks like their service people unjustified Chinese people. Yesterday, when I made the coffee in the hallway, the waitress took away the coffee cream and milk in front of me. And today when I make the red tea, the cream and milk are empty,at the same time the waitress is looking at me but don’t fill in. After I went to washroom, I saw another race lady is making coffee, and the waitress is filling in the cream and milk. I feel very bad because I feel I was treated unfairly. The waitress looked like Chinese but I am not sure. If they are Chinese I feel shame of them. Next time I will definitely not go to this hotel and won’t recommend to any of my friends.

It was a nice stay for the price. There are many dining options near by and it's close to the highway. Rooms are clean. Decor in hotel is really nice. The man who works at the front desk on Saturday afternoon was not very welcoming. Lynda who works at the front desk on Sunday was awesome. She was so nice and made us feel so welcomed. That is how customer service should be.

Excellent hotel! I mostly stay at Hilton brand hotels as a Diamond level member, and our double queen bed room is clean and feels new, staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great quality, we had the waffle, omelette and eggs.

Stayed here for work. The room was quiet and clean. Close to a lot of restaurants and amenities. A little sadness: 1. The bottled water in the room was $$ 2. The hot tube was empty as it has been since my coworker stayed here months ago. 3. The gentleman at the desk needs a little more training on customer service.

Extended family booked 3 rooms. We were grateful for the swim/exercise hours. The hotel does not have continental breakfast, but prices are very reasonable, and food is delicious.

The room heater is very noisy and the room temperature never reaches warm temperature. The water output from the bathroom shower head is very small and uneven. We booked a room for three people, but there were only two cups and bottles of water in the room every day.

I was on a business trip. I have stayed in many hotels in the area by far the worst Wi-Fi I have ever seen. Do not count on the Hilton Garden Inn to provide you with adequate Internet connection for simple tasks.

Although this appears to be a newer hotel, there is a feeling that isn't all that comfortable. Did not experience a very good night. As a Hilton Honors member, I felt unappreciated. On one of the websites, breakfast was to be included, but it turned out you had to pay for breakfast. If I return to the area, I would choose a different hotel.

Wifi here work extremely slow. Also, their tvs are not smart tv, meaning, they do not support netflix and youtube platforms. Tech is launching new products every year yet these guys are behind with their microwave and tv services which is sad

300 Commerce Valley Drive East, awesome stay and the team members were very friendly and helpful. And the call centre, making the booking so seamless in a stressful time to find a place to stay from a very bad snow storm on March 3, 2023

Nice clean hotel but grumpy looking front desk, and a horrible breakfast crew. We ordered continental and a la crate breakfast. They were like hovering over our table to remove stuff even as we’re eating and suggesting we don’t eat their bread because I left half a croissant in my plate, telling I dint seem to like their continental breakfast and must order something else for next breakfast, Al the time telling me n husband ti Not share my food etc!! Felt Very uncomfortable indeed! Late night we discovered they dint have any blanket or pillows for the pullout bed we had requested n a grumpy front desk took half hour to send the blanket to our room.. by which time my kid was already asleep! Poorly managed .. looks like they’re only concerned with saving n efficiency n less of customer comfort n care.

The hotel is clean. They make a great effort daily to provide fresh treats and have fresh water with fruit at many locations. The pool was beautiful. Fresh towels ready to go and food and drink service while you indulge in the Sun.

Found toenails in the crack of the couch while eating. The beds are hard as morgue tables. Good burrito place a few minutes away! Also there was a lot of hair on the shower wall

I saw tiny red bugs (searched them up on google and it's clover mites?) on my bed, but made the mistake of not taking a picture, so when I confronted the front desk about it, they told me that they needed to do an investigation and that they will get back to me on it in a few business days. That happened on my last day there, but what's the use of contacting me after my last day? They didn't want to give me a refund for that night, and instead gave me hotel points, but I don't even book hotels often enough to make use of those points. I also felt like I was being gaslighted because they kept telling me there were no bugs after their team thoroughly investigated my room. After seeing other reviews here, I can be confident about what I witnessed. Thanks for the hotel points, I guess.

great service. In my opinion, the pillow and bed is so soft and comfortable compared to my past stay at sheraton and six senses! others are good too as a three star hotel.

Great hotel. Very large rooms. The location still offers daily room service. I wish we still had this at the US Hilton locations!

I did not have any problems with service or the room. It was well located and affordable.. The bed was super comfy. Loved the location walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Coffee in the morning as well. Didn't have a chance to try the pool but over all not to bad for the price.

Hotel is very outdated. Staff not very friendly, wifi was not working and was being updated the day we left, room was dirty, carpet felt sticky, and table was stained. There were not enough towels provided until I asked, and there was no fan in the bathroom. Staff needs to be friendlier and more accommodating. Free breakfast should be provided to guests. The bed was comfortable and the location was nice.

Room are very clean and nice. Booked for a hockey tournament with many different teams. And our team was scattered all over the hotel. Loading up a whole hotel with hockey teams and using 3/4 of the pool for swim lessons is not a good idea. Especially when the swim instructor wants the boys to be quite and not play. Overall the hotel is good but not recommended with kids teams or groups.

Room was small, dark. Bathroom was uncomfortable and not private from room (someone on opposite end of bedroom sounded like they were in the bathroom with you and vice-versa). Internet was free for guests which was cool, maybe more common in Canada). Lobby staff were friendly. Location was convenient to our destinations.

I loved my stay at Hilton Hotel. The place is very clean and comfortable. The staff members are very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. Hilton is also close to many amenities and Tim Horton and subway are nearby. The hotel is quiet and you can have peaceful nights of sleep.

Good location for the surrounding dynamic stores. You can have a lot of parking spots outside the Inn. The inside decor is clean and staffs are nice. The single queen size bed room is spacious.

Room was really nice and well laid out. Everything on the surface looked clean and the stay overall was decent as expected from a Hilton Garden Inn. This is one of the nicest Hilton Garden Inn's I have stayed at and I have stayed at many across Canada and the United States. 4 stars only because the operations manager, Adam, he was fantastic and absolutely professional and helpful. The remaining front end staff in my opinion were rude, unhelpful, dis-respectful, and condescending. Adam made up for all of that.

This is an excellent hotel. Great service, clean, beautiful interior, helpful staff. I stayed for about 8 days while my apartment was being repaired and have zero complaints.

Room is clean and in decent size. Near hwy 404 and Times Square. Very convenient. Only one issue is continuous weird noise in bath room, I believe it is from pipe.

Great hotel - clean, comfortable and well appointed. Employees were extremely helpful and friendly. I travel frequently for work and ended up at this property due to a family emergency requiring me to be in the area. The employee I spoke to for my booking as I was transferring from another Hilton property went above and beyond to get me what was needed (connecting rooms on short notice). The property is a bit dated; but overall comfortable and clean, close to highways, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast available (included for Diamond members) was always fresh, hot and made to order. Debbie was so kind and a welcome face to see each morning. Thank you, Debbie, for your kindness.

I was on a business trip and the stay was good. Room service is very good and the reception is very friendly 👍. I got complimentary breakfast with my stay and there is a good list of choices for breakfast and it does have daily changes too which is nice. Dinner is available from 6pm and has decent combination of menu options. One might find it to be slightly expensive but it is to be expected. Food is delicious so no complaints there. Lots of parking spots available and there are few designated for Diamond members with Hilton.

One of the best Garden Inn breakfast, friendly stuff and delicious food. Breakfast opens until 11 am is definitely a bonus. Rooms are comfy, and many restaurants nearby. FYI You need to pay for EV charging though, surprisingly not included even for guest.

Booked a room to use pool and the heater was off. Power went out and the Back up power didn’t work and there was no help from staff to get luggage down the stairs and didn’t even offer a light. The employees stood behind the counter not offering any assistance and being a young family other guests were offering to help. Asked for refund and was told yes we can have it back and never got it or a follow up

At first I thought it was great! But then I saw my visa amount was not the same as what I was suppose to be charged. They took a security (?)amount of $194.59 when my bill was only $158.99. How can they do this? Then they charged me a facility fee when I did not use any of them like exercise room or pool. Why should I pay for some else to use. Makes no sense. I gave them a glowing report and then saw my bill. NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. The room was very clean and nice and and the hotel was clean and inviting with lovely décor and a relaxing lounge and restaurant area. We had plenty of supplies during our stay. The location was easy to get to and convenient to main roads and highways. Excellent! Will definitely stay again.

Service and staff were super nice and friendly. The rooms however were pretty dingy and dirty. We arrived to visually dirty towels and pillow cases. There's also a very musty odor in the halls and room that's unpleasant

Great customer service from Lynda at front desk. Very grand hotel, everything was larger then most hotels… rooms, beds, pool, restaurant and gym. Elevator was great for moving baggage for check-in and check-out. However,… was disappointed that bathroom fan was not working and hot water was warm not hot. Also had to pay for breakfast and extra perks.

This hotel is a little outdated and needed some upgrade. A/C is quite noisy if you turn it on during middle of the night. The hotel served free coffee daily in the lobby till 10am but sorry no refreshments. The location is good, easy access to 407 (toll freeway) , 404, and Highway 7.
