Tried
to
book
a
night
at
this
hotel
in
their
wheelchair
accessible
room
for
a
quadriplegic
traveler.
I
was
told
that
the
accessible
room
was
available
for
the
night
that
I
required
it,
but
that
even
if
I
booked
it
that
it
wasn't
guaranteed.
They
said
that
if
the
person
who
was
in
that
room
the
night
before
decided
to
extend
their
stay
that
it
would
bump
us
and
keep
the
existing
person
in
their
room.
A
standard
room
will
not
work
for
a
quad,
who
requires
a
full
roll
in
shower
to
clean
himself.
That
is
an
absurd
policy.
If
the
room
is
available
and
we
book
it,
then
if
the
person
decides
last
minute
they
want
to
stay,
they
should
be
moved
to
an
available
room.
Seems
like
a
discriminatory
practice
toward
the
disabled
community.
Disabled
people
have
a
hard
enough
time
traveling
as
it
is,
you
would
think
in
2022
it
wouldn't
be
so
hard
to
book
a
suitable
hotel
room.
Seems
so
simple
to
me,
available
room?
Great,
book
it
and
it's
yours.
Guess
not!
Clearly
not
something
that
you
can
expect
from
this
hotel,
sad
really.
Won't
be
considering
it
for
future
stays
to
Toronto.
