Wonderful Irish pub. Staff is very friendly and engaging. Great drink and food. Great live music. My only critism is that even when the band isn't playing and it's just people talking it is so loud in there. The restaurant is essentially a concrete tub and sound just bounces around. Some sound baffling on the roof and walls would help immeasurably. Nonetheless, a great experience.

A great Irish pub! They pour the perfect Guinness and we enjoyed some live music on a Saturday night. Didn’t get a chance to eat here but then menu looked delicious. Great service as well.

Good pours, good music, great seating. Don't come here if you're looking for big arm chairs and a quiet corner. This is a social environment. The place really comes alive with their great selection of live music. Good spot to meet a bunch of friends and have some pints and chips.

Ah, Noonan's Irish Pub on the Danforth in Toronto, where the leprechauns must have hidden the pot of gold in the kitchen because the food was pure treasure! My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth writing about. We started with the calamari, and it was so tender and crispy that I briefly considered using it as an impromptu stress ball. Paired with a Chardonnay that must have been kissed by the Irish rain, it was like a match made in culinary heaven. The calamari was so good that I wouldn't be surprised if it had its own fan club. But wait, the real star of the show was the chicken pizza. It was as if Italy and Ireland had a delicious lovechild right there in Noonan's kitchen. The chicken was juicy, the cheese was melty, and the crust had just the right amount of crispiness. I'm pretty sure I heard angels singing as I took my first bite. And what better way to wash it all down than with a classic Guinness? It's like a pint of liquid Irish history in your hand. As for the ambiance, Noonan's had that cozy Irish pub feel down to a tee. It felt like we'd been transported straight to the Emerald Isle, minus the rain. Although, I hear they have that covered too if you want the full Irish experience! In conclusion, if you find yourself on the Danforth in Toronto and you're craving a taste of Ireland with a side of laughter, Noonan's is the place to be. Just make sure you ask for Jane, and don't forget to try the chicken pizza – it's the stuff of legends. Sláinte! 🍀🍕🍻

Aye, even in a city this size it's hard to find a pub with an authentic Irish feel. Here, the blokes behind the bar came from Ireland, had knowledge of the drinks, music, and culture. I been to plenty of pubs here with "Irish" in the name that were no more so than Taco Bell is Mexican. This place actually feels like what it claims to be, and bravo on that, lads.

I came with friends for the Irish sessions. Sunday 4:30 - 7:30 is lovely Irish music. We sat and drank and enjoyed the music. Will definitely be back.

Noonan's pub is a truly wonderful experience. Great selection of tap 🍺 and awesome food. I enjoyed everything as I wrote in my journal and read. Thank you for serving the community and being a staple and tradition in this city.

Great Irish music on select evenings. Mike and Dave fantastic behind the bar. Love spending Sundays listening to the music, having a conversation with them while having a drink.

Great for them to be back open, & out back on the patio. YES!!! The patio. It is a thing. It exists. When there's live music & a crowd of people, even better. Some Gaelic fiddles, Scottish pipers (Robbie Burns Day!!!), even Washboard Hank. Too many others to try to mention or my Guinness will get warm. Slainte.

So authentic in here, and super cozy. I got to experience many of their light bites and highly recommend getting the fried mushrooms. Very good ambience and enjoyed the hosting of contiki and tourism Ireland. Great location, check them out if your in the area. Enjoyed the whiskey tasting as well!

Being a Canadian Irishman, I felt at home from the moment I walk into Dora Keough. With the familiar Irish tunes filling the air from the Ceili to the tasty fish and chips and cold pint I was enjoying at the bar, I can think of one word that sums the whole experience up... Grand!

Fantastic neighbourhood pub in the heart of the Danforth. Warm, cozy, with standing room and tables set up for socializing and catching some live music on the small stage. A bustling atmosphere with a sociable vibe ... All round, a great local pub experience!

We went to meet friends for a night out and ended up making more new friends as well. Noonan's is an irish bar with more than just Irish beer. They have a good selection of beers, spirits and wine. We didn't have any food. Saturday night there was a band and lots of people were dancing. Noonan's is a smaller venue but easy to get around. There are hooks under the main bar to hang your coats and stuff. You order yourself from the bar, they have several bar tenders to serve you so there's next to no wait time even when they are busy. Definitely will go back for more fun and drinks and dancing. Thanks for the great night out. CHEERS 🍻

If there's a better Irish pub in Toronto I certainly haven't found it. With all the charm of a real Irish pub and fantastic trad music depending the night. Go enjoy a cold one or some good whiskey

It was so welcoming and amazing to attend the sea shanty sing-along. Really brings character and charm to the city. It was a wee bit crowded but made the sing-along so much more amazing. The kitchen was closed so I haven't ranked the food. Also a Guinness runs you $10 a pint.

Biggest joke of an Irish pub ever. If I could give zero stars I would. No TV screens. I went there on St. Patrick's Day what a joke. A rock band playing no Irish Music. A cover charge they didn't advertise. No food just sandwiches. Zero Irish atmosphere. Give it a miss is my best advice.

I have 0 complaints. I loved this place when I frequented it 10 years ago when it was Dora Keogh, and love it still as Noonan's.

  • 1/5 Orla O C. 4 years ago on Google
Staff were rude, place is too cramped with not enough seating. I wanted to order food but they told me they stopped serving. 20 minutes later the barman was bringing plates of food to a table so I asked again and he said no, while he had food in his hands??!!! At least have the decency to explain! Won't be going back here.

Super authentic Irish pub! The set up of the pub is very true to what a pub in Dublin would feel like. It has little "rooms" and standing ledges, making the experience more intimate. It's also a bar that many locals visit. Definitely worth grabbing a pint of Guinness for!

Authentic Irish Pub. Live Irish music (Thursday Night), a pub setup atmosphere that reminds me of "The Garrison" from the TV show Peaky Blinders (my apologies for a pop culture reference). I will never mistake a corporate Irish pub to a real one again after visiting the Dora Keogh.

I've been going to this place for about 10 years, and I can honestly say, it's gone down hill, every year for the past 4 years. The original owner lost interest a few years ago, and he finally sold it, and it's turning into the Brunswick house. Shame
