If you’re a lover of seafood, Pearl Diver is absolute must. I’m glad I made reservations for this place, because even early on a weekday night, it was completely packed — and for good reason! Great atmosphere, cheerful service, and above all else, some really incredible dishes. We ordered the sesame fried calamari, PD fish & chips and the atlantic lobster. The calamari might be my new favourite out of anywhere else I’ve tried! The fish and chips were perfectly fried with a delicious, flaky texture on the haddock. The lobster was also quite large, packed with meat and very flavourful! So glad we tried this place on recommendation of a local friend. I know we’ll definitely be back again on our next visit to Toronto.

Amazing seafood restaurant with great daily deals. My friends and I came for the $100 for 100 oysters deal, which is definitely a DEAL! Nowadays in Toronto, a lot of buck a shuck places have become $2 a shuck places, so it's rare to find such a high quality oyster deal. The oysters are fresh, a good size, and beautifully plated. The 100 came out staggered in 3 plates, which were delivered over the span of an hour or so. It did seem like they could bring them out at the pace that you requested, we asked for a staggered delivery because one of our friends was running late. We had three people sharing the oysters and it was a bit much - four people would have been ideal. We also tried the PD Fries and Icelandic Cod, both of which were good. Next time we'll probably bring more people to split the 100 oysters and try a few more of the apps. Definitely make a reservation if you're coming on a Thursday, since that's the day of the deal.

Still my favourite oyster bar in Toronto. It's managed to maintain its level of quality fresh food with an authentic, unpretentious atmosphere. Very decent prices compared to its overinflated counterparts across the city. Pearl Diver is the best place for a low key cozy hangout with friends over fresh seafood and bubbly!

This is my second time coming in less than a month. We love this place. The best for seafood and oyster experience in Toronto. They remembered us from our first visit. We may have found our new social hangout spot with our closest friends. Simply amazing spot. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Cozy and nice seafood restaurant. Fresh oysters bar. Great customer service. The young female server was very friendly and attentive. She checked on us few times during our meal. Loved the sea bream & mussels. Food was amazing! Yummy! Will come back to try their 100/100 Oysters some day!

Amazing place - not just for oysters but for great drinks and decent pub style seafood. We order fish n chips, calamari and mussels. Make sure to get the bread with mussels as it is great with the broth! Finished with a warm sticky toffee cake, highly recommended!

Fantastic food. Excellent service and charming ambiance. The 100 Oysters for $100 on thursdays is not just a great deal but the freshness of the oysters ensures you know the experience is memorable. Oysters were delicious with my favourite toppings being the in-house cocktail sauce, the freshly prepared horseradish with lemon or simple tobasco. The calamari was crunchy, spicy and definitely tasty. Would highly recommend. The veggie dumplings were well prepared and texture was on point but from a flavour perspective it did not wow. Definitely going to be back here sooner than later.

Seafood was fresh, food was very delicious overall. Great deal for oysters during happy hour, $24/dozen, and they were really fresh. Lobster sliders and calamari were delicious. The steamed mussels was the only dish that was lacklustre, I expected a flavourful broth but it was just very salty. Mussels were fresh though! Overall great experience and the service was great. They do have an automatic 18% tip, but I did not see an issue with it as they were very attentive, so we decided to tip more on top of the 18%. I do not like Caesars, but pearl diver’s Caesar was so delicious and the oyster that came with it was the cherry on top.

Another delicious and classic seafood meal. We went for dinner on a Saturday evening and it really hits the spot. The chowder was hearty and thick. The lobster sliders are made with chunky lobster chunks and flavourful. The fish and chips were crispy and better than your average pub type. The oysters were a hit. A great place for a casual seafood dinner.

We tried their oysters, mussels, fries and sticky toffee pudding. Everything was delicious, the vibe was modern and service was excellent. We heard good things about their Lobster and Scallops too but will try it next time. Perfect place for a date. Highly recommend

My wife and I absolutely love this place, we’ve been multiple times and every time it always hit. I recently took my wife and son here and we decided to try some different food items out of our norm. For the apps we started with the pearly chowder, chicken liver & oyster pate and a side of grilled focaccia. The chowder was a hit with myself and my son while my wife and I enjoy the pate. The bread that was served with the pate was a little over grilled (hard like croutons) but overall still delicious. For the mains my wife and I shared the Canada 2 Oyster Plate along with the Steelhead Trout on Kimchi Rice and my son had the PD Burger. The oysters were fresh and did not have any funny after taste and the steelhead trout would probably be a new favourite, we were skeptical to try at first as my wife wasn’t really in the mood for kimchi rice but we are glad we tried it. The fries that came with the PD burger were a little over done as they were mostly hard but the burger itself was good as always. We would definitely come here again and recommend this spot to anyone else to try.

I had a lovely visit this evening at Pearl Diver. They had me at oysters. My friends and I took the opportunity to catch up and share 100 oysters for $100 which is their Daily Special on Thursdays. They were served on 3 different platters and they began shucking the next one as they noticed we were about to finish. The service was extremely attentive, to the point I though we were almost out of rye toast (for the chicken liver & oyster pate) and watched as the served passed by, spotted the last of the toast and ordered more from the kitchen. I really appreciate that level of detail. The atmosphere was perfect, the restaurant was full. I highly recommend planning your visit in advance and making a reservation. This place is so welcoming and I can’t wait to return and try all their other menu items. Mussels here I come!

Came here for mother’s day dinner and it was delicious. Cute little spot and the seafood was very flavourful. The only thing is that not all the oyster varieties were that good (thus worth the price). We loved the lobster though, simple but hits the spot for sure! The clam chowder was hearty but wish there were more clams in it. The mussels had a more Asian vibe to it, which was not bad but we felt like it would have been better with white wine/cream. Would want to try buck a shuck here on a Thursday!

Best cozy and on-theme lil oyster place in town. Went Wednesday and got their Oysterliscious special (YUM), scallops (WOW), and sticky toffee pudding (WOW x2!). Service was very quick and timely, and our waiter Olanrewaju was just a gem! He provided us with great recommendations and had such a bright attitude. Definitely will be returning and making this place a staple in for our nights out. PS also the most delicious spicy caesar omg

The dining room is much smaller than I expected. We dined in on a random Tuesday night at 9:00pm and it was still full! Reservations are a must. We got the daily special which was the seafood tower, and it was delicious, especially the mussels and snow crab legs which were especially sweet. We also ordered the clam chowder which was good, but not very traditional. The fish and chips were excellent because the fish was flakey and very mild.

This was fantastic! The shrimp and lobster were delicious! We tried west coast oysters and west coast oysters! Definitely preferred the east coast oysters. We also got the calamari which was a bit over cooked. But it was an interesting take on calamari. The focaccia was pretty good. Char from the grill was nice. The fries were decent. And the mixed vegetables were buttery and delicious!

I love the oysters! They are fresh and 100 for 100 is good for four people (Thursday and reservation only). The cocktails are nice too. Also the park across the street could be a perfect place to take a walk. 5-star dating place overall!

Such a great local eatery. The oysters are always great here. The burger is one of the best in the city. We went with other options this time and it’s all very delicious. Can get busy even during the week, so make a reservation ahead of time.

Are you on a see food diet or seafood diet? 😜 Well, I was surely on a seafood diet last week as I feasted on these yummy oysters, mackerel and sardines! Pearl diver located in Adelaide St. Toronto serves great seafood if you didn’t know already. 🤓 They have a pub type setting with their specialty being seafood and variety of beer. 🍺🐟 We tried their Malpeque oysters 🦪 from the happy hour menu that runs between 4-6 along with Korean style mackerel, and grilled sardines. 🐠 My favourite was the Mackerel. Everything was SO good about this dish. 👌 I would also recommend trying their British Pub Ale beer - tastes so good with the seafood. If you’re looking for a good seafood place in downtown, this is a spot you should definitely try out! ✅

So so so good! We ordered lobsters and veggies - both buttery and tasty. Service was very quick and friendly. Atmosphere was so lively and a nice view of the street from the front section of the restaurant. Can't wait to come back for oysters!

Cozy! That is how I would describe this quaint and an charming nook right off the busy streets of Adelaide. A quirky bar celebrating all that is seafood. the decor and the ambience of this venue is memorable...featuring anchors, ropes, iridescent shells and fishnets and with the walls and posts coated with blackboard paint features of the daily specials. And the pace is allows you take a pause and breathe, but that does not the service gets shortchanged. All of the servers are prompt and with adequate knowledge of the menu and faster on their feet in bringing the food over. For seafood lovers, look no further as Pearl diver features a wide array of freshly shucked oysters all across the nation and a wider array of malted beverages to wash them down. I had the oysters from PEI with the mignoette sauces alongside hot mustard and they were divine! I had a thre grilled Sea bream and my friend dined on the Fish and chips....I wasn't particularly attached to my Sea bream but that is no bearing on the chef! Sea bream is encased with bones but which fish isn't! My friend's entree had me salivating for more! Overall, would definitely make another trip!

It’s been a few years since I came here for the 100 Oyster for $100. Glad to see price hasn’t changed. We ordered calamari, fries and sardine on top of that. Everything was delicious and the wait staff were attentive. Like people mentioned there a 18% service charge to protect staff against discriminatory tipping practice. I find that fair, the service was good enough to deserve that. On top of that, they shucked 100 oysters on an incredibly busy night.

Kind of glad google now offers a split of the star breakdown. So overall I gave this place 3 stars, but tbh the food was 5/5. It's the service and atmosphere which were lacking. We were a party of two and had a reservation which we'd mentioned was an anniversary. This is because at the time of calling we were asked if it was a special occasion and we said anniversary. When we arrived, the booth we were given wasn't cleaned - not a big issue, mistakes happen. We asked a busser to quickly wipe it down at which point we were given our menus. At no point in the meal were we given a card, app, dessert, or any indication of acknowledgement it was our anniversary. This isn't a requirement, but if they ask at the time of booking, you'd think they might have done something. It took awhile for our orders to be taken, and also quite a while for our drinks to arrive. Again, this might have just been a combo of bad luck, but our food took a very long time to come out. To be fair it was a busy night, but we'd asked to have the dinner expedited as we had tickets to a nearby show, and when we made the reservation we thought 1.5 hours would have been enough time to order, get our food and be on our way out. The food itself was very good, reasonably priced and the sticky toffee pudding was the highlight, but overall based solely on the service we recieved, I wouldn't return.

A western seafood restaurant in queen street. Usually, weekdays have some oysters special, which is a very good deal, I like the vibe, and the meal was great, especially the squid, which is the must try item!

Came here with my mom. Got the PD Caesar ( it was really spicy as requested ), the chowder ( yummm ), the calamari - I'm a huge calamari fan so believe me when I say, this was special... got the fish and chips for mains and I could tell that the fish was fresh.. we had the sticky toffee pudding too but that was nothing to write home about.. would 100% recommend and come back

Good, fresh seafood. Many people were there for the oysters and it was a good deal indeed. Was looking for some lobster so had the steamed Atlantic lobster. It was very fresh but slightly bland. Ordered the Caesar salad and PD fries as well. Both were average. The vibe of the restaurant was very nice and cozy. Looks like a great place for dinner with friends and loved ones. Very packed and we were lucky to get a table at the bar as we went early. Definitely gotta make reservations if you plan on visiting.

Five of us went in for their 100 for 100 Thursday deal and we can’t wait to go back. The oysters are freshly prepared to order. Other dishes from the kitchen tasted excellent and are very decently priced. We were seated at the bar so we got to chat with the shucker named Andrew. He was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Overall 10/10 experience. Highly recommended
