Below is my initial review and experience : Very bad experience with the person at the billing. A Telugu speaking woman at the billing section was very rude and yelling at us. We felt whether we are guests or some beggars. She was asking us what table did we use. Food is very bad and little and we were charged service fees even without our acceptance . I have eaten in many Indian restaurants across the world but this is the worst I ever faced . Please avoid . Just go through the responses of the owner. It only depicts his threatening attitude to his customers. Now @owner of this restaurant. Thanks for the reply and here goes my response for you. 1. LOL. It's so fun. Please improve your operations or get some lessons on hotel management instead of criticizing ppl who are posting bad reviews or giving you bad rating. 2. Please check the CCTV cameras ( if you have) or check with your other employees about your female staff's behavior and attitude . Please don't rant unnecessarily or do loose talk. A co-waiter apologized us for her behavior. It's the sole reason I gave a single star. 3. Coming to the quantity and quality of food , I reiterate you to improve on both. Lastly one piece of advice for you my dear. Understand that one will not get anything by posting negative things and none is paid for that. So please focus on satisfying your customers instead of bullying them.

The location of the restaurant is good. Before going i had heard mixed reviews about the restaurant. The service was really nice. We got some papad and mango shake shots. Our order took a long time to come. The quantity was enough but the taste of food was average. We asked for spicy food but it was not at all spicy.

I want to give a negative rating but google will not let me do that. While I was talking to the manager regarding the problem with my food she just left in between and did not even allow me to complete my sentence. She was so rude and doesn't know how to treat customers. The food was also not soo good, there was no gravy in my paneer sabzi. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Server was really polite and welcoming. So happy he gave me a generous bowl of fresh green chillies with my meal. Even with a grain-free vegan diet, I was able to have quite a few options. So happy they had fruit available as well. There were a few vegan salads to choose from. The hot plates were also okay. No particular dish stood out for me that day, even though I'd prefer warm dishes especially during the cold winter days, I was more than happy to eat the fresh pineapple. The green chillies really made the meal much more enjoyable. They started cleaning a little after 2:30pm so they urged that I take my last plate, if I wanted before the took the food away. Overall, I wished the food made a good impression on me because I love Indian food and am still in search for a go-to place nearby. However, I am happy to have came, tried, and now checked off this place on my want to go list.

They've obviously tweaked around their menu to suit the taste buds of locals, while still trying to retain the Indian touch. But for someone who's been fed in the Indian Punjab for most part of his life, this place could be a tad underwhelming. To give credit where it's due, they have a good variety in the lunch buffet and is priced reasonably ok for the location and ambience. But for someone looking to get a taste of authentic desi flavor, while only making a fleeting visit to Toronto, it could be a mixed bag dining at this place.

309 Dhaba is a little Indian Restaurant tucked away in the heart of Toronto. The North Indian cuisine erved at this restaurant was superior to must places I've been in my lifetime. Full of flavor and spice with a home-cooked twist. The staff was tentive, kind and full of smiles. Pricing wise for food it was fair and the portion sizes were large and will definitely fill you. If you're in Toronto and are craving Indian food do yourself a favor and please stop and support this resturant. You won't regret it one bit.

My review is based on a Sunday late Lunch Buffet. Food was all cold. Meat curries were okay. Desert didnt have any authentic dish. No Gulab Jaman or Rasmalai or Carrot Halwa. Customer Service was very good though. Overall not going here for a at least 6 months from now.

I ordered vegetarian food online via Skip application. The packaging of food was awesome as they used leakproof containers .Also regarding the food , I would say taste was good overall. The quantity again was good. Apart from the food which I ordered , they sent a rice bowl and papad as a reward which was cool .I would say you will be satisfied from the service and the food they provide here.

If you like E. Indian cuisine, then you have to try this place. A big bonus, they are also open late. Their curries, biryani, and lamb are unique and the flavours are second to none. Portions are good, and the prices are fair. One of my favorite E. Indian restaurants in the GTA.

My Wife ordered food from here through Uber eats, wherein she ordered some Dhaba Platter which says it has got some different type of kabab and chicken, after receiving the order, in the platter there were some 10 pieces of chicken covered with the vegetables, and when i called them, they said sorry and gave me the reason stating that they’re out of chicken and today Friday night the restaurant is open till 3 am, i mean what is this reason that you’re out of chicken and moreover Soya tikka has only 4 pieces, you guys are charging some 22 cad plus taxes for the platter and you’re giving some pieces of chicken and then you say we are out of chicken, Wow, please don’t do this, its our hard earned money, after working for the whole week everyone wants to just relax and have some good food and not to be fooled, definitely not gonna order from here again and will never ever recommend this to anyone.

The food tasted delicious. There’s a wide selection of hot food and cold salads for the lunch buffet. In one of the dishes there were a few cardamon pods. It’s refreshing to see real spices and ingredients in the dish. The restaurant wasn’t busy so it’s easy to get a table for a group.

Came here with my mother and brother. Had the most pleasant experience. Ordered about 4 dishes (3 mains and one app) along with rice and 3 naan orders. Food was delicious and more than filling. Had enough to take left overs home. I would really recommend the naan which can be paired with any meat dish. The mango lassi on the end was quite the surprise and it tasted so good! Rinal did a great job serving us today and loved the customer service!

I stumbled upon 309 Dhaba because of their great late night hours and it’s close to my work. It’s a second story supposedly high class Indian food joint located on King West, close to Spadina Rd. The customer service was actually decent, courteous, and prompt. I had no issues with the service. The food on the other hand, isn’t that great and didn’t live up to standard. Maybe it’s because I had the best Indian food the night before and I was hoping 309 Dhaba would allow me to relive it once again. I was mistaken. I ordered the Chana Masala and two garlic Naan. The curry in the Masala was so watery thin, it didn’t allow the spices to stick to the chickpeas or marinate in the curry. The Garlic Naan was good but went from the website’s price of $3.90 a piece to $4.50 a piece for each Naan. $9 for two pieces of Naan is disrespectful and rude. The food definitely wasn’t worth it. I will not be back.

I really like the Balti Chicken and Biryani here. Living close by I order pickup quite a few times from here. Ordered today on Christmas Eve, it was one of the only open restaurants. They gave a complementary Nan and wrote a warm "Happy Holidays! Enjoy!" message on the package. Kudos for the delicious food and going the extra mile to make a customer happy. Also, good music while I was waiting there for the pickup. Next time maybe I'll dine in.
