Always been a fan of their mushroom pasta, but haven’t been here in awhile. The portion definitely got smaller, and the sauce is not as rich as it’s used to. Our pasta came a bit cold so it was not as enjoyable. Also, barely any cheese! Tried their calamari for the first time, it was good but nothing special. All in all, a bit disappointed with this visit. Hopefully they can be more consistent next time.

Been here a couple of times and Gusto never disappoints. Firstly, even for a busy restaurant they have plenty of outdoor seating (patio and rooftop) and would be happy to accommodate you irrespective of a booking or not (but we have been only 2 people though!) The food is excellent! The salads taste fresh, the appetizers are a good portion (lamb meatballs are super tasty!). The pastas are smaller in portion but have an impeccable taste (truffle paste is a must-try!!!!). Their tiramisu is one of the best I've tried in Toronto, SO SO GOOD! Lastly, their staff is friendly and service is quick. Would highly recommend it!

Reserved for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. I was seated without any delay and the server was helpful in giving suggestions when asked. There aren’t too many brunch options, but I guess that’s a sign that they are confident that what they put out will be great! We got 3 dishes to share. The brunch burger, pancakes and the mushroom pasta. All three were really good. My favourite was the pancake dish. They were fluffy, and the tartness of the Cherry compote balanced the sweetness well. The fries with the burger were crispy. The mushrooms in the pasta were cooked really. Would recommend going here for sure.

Went here for a birthday, which was my first time here. I ordered pizza, and focaccia. Everything was great, the pizza was not the best I ever had but very good. Except for the focaccia, which may have been the best I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is very welcoming including the beautiful patio out front. Washrooms are in the basement via stairs, not wheelchair assessable.

Gusto has delicious pizzas and pastas. The pasta portions are a little small compared to other places but every one we ordered (we got all except the lasagna) was really yummy. The upstairs patio space is nicely laid out too. Be prepared to wait though as they do not take reservations.

Amazing Italian restaurant. The atmosphere as soon as you walked in was welcoming and exciting and it seemed like everybody there loved being there. We got seats on the rooftop and it was absolutely lovely. My table shared the eggplant appetizer and I got the mushroom pizza and both were phenomenal. I work at a pizza place so I don’t often enjoy other pizza but something about it this one was so good, I couldn’t resist. Our server was okay. He was kind and knew about the menu but not too amicable. It took a while for both the food and the bill to come, which I guess is normal for a Friday night but I still believe it could have been better. Perhaps a little pricey but, for the Toronto Fashion District, it’s about expected.

If you are looking for Italian food with a kick of spices - this is the place to come to. However get ready for some mixed service expectations. Ill elaborate below. Food: Fantastico! We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta - all of them were delicious. The pasta could be boiled for some more time as it was crunchy, but the quality of mushrooms and truffle was top-notch! Service: a little mixed about this. They gave us a table close to the kitchen which made it a little hot. My wife was having back pain so we requested to sit by the sofa but the first 2 servers just declined our request outright in a very rude manner. They were giving excuses that those tables are booked for bigger groups while we saw similar tables with only 2 guests on each table. In addition, this restaurant does not take reservations. A 3rd server approached us and we requested her and showed her the sofa tables with 2 guests. She was kind enough to check with the manager and we finally got a table with sofa. Our server was superb who helped us get a table and we complained to her about the other servers who were rude and did not help with our requests. Honestly I want to give this place 5 stars but the initial servers spoiled our mood and experience. The food is superb with some minor opportunities for improvement, but the main problem that the management needs to fix is the hospitality of the servers.

First off big thank you to Darth Vador.. I mean Evan! Great personality, went above and beyond, and just stayed super pleasant our entire time there. We ordered a pasta and a pizza and the portions here are INSANE! You get your moneys worth here that’s for sure. You can sit inside or in the patio/ outside dining area which we will do on our next visit. I would highly recommend this place.

Great food that comes our fresh and fast. We walked in on a Thursday night and it was super busy but was able to get a table for 6 - highly recommend reservations. Pizza was delicious. Mushroom pasta was the star of the show. Great customer service.

Went here for my birthday. We advance booked a table, which made it easier and jumped queue. It was our first time here, found place a bit overcrowded with tables being too close to accommodate lot more guests. Which i found to be not so good experience. Food was good. Our server was very nice, whatever she recommended was excellent.

Had a good experience at Gusto 101! The restaurant wasn’t that busy when we dined in on a Friday late lunch and our server was great! Our faves were the calamari fritti and burrata. Pizza was alright, not my favourite in the city though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this restaurant. We dined upstairs to appreciate the open rooftop. The food was great. We had the calamari, beef carpaccio and pizza. The calamari was a good portion, but small pieces. The beef carpaccio was so delicious. To compliment the dish, I wished it came with bread. We loved the pizza. Very tasty flavors. I would definitely come back again.

Mushroom pasta is worth it - get it without the truffle oil drizzle. Pizza is massive and very filling. Bread is a bit much - a tad oily and salty, but still alright. Atmosphere is fantastic anytime of the day, any day of the week. Sit anywhere in the restaurant and it's photo-worthy.

Food and the vibes are so good here. Calamari 9/10. Crispy with good sauce. Mushroom pasta 10/10 . Love these type of noodles & they were cooked perfectly aldente. Kale Caesar 8/10 (could use more kale massaging. A little rough tasting) We also got the 1oz for $1 deal on the wine. Red was very good.

This place is great. The atmosphere is amazing. And the ground floor smells so good! We got a pasta, pizza and brussels sprouts app for two people. The brussels sprouts and pasta was 10/10! The pizza was more on the bottom side at 4/10. The crust was just too dry and not enough flavor. Maybe offer a dipping sauce? Their tiramisu was 9/10. It was a great portion. Enough for two people. We came here on a weekday at 5 pm because that is what their website said was available. But even at 7 pm, there were a lot of tables. Overall, good experience. We will be back for the pasta for sure!

Came here for the first time on the weekend! Really enjoyed the arancini appetizer with the basil crème. We got a pizza and a pasta. The pizza was a little under cooked but the pasta had tons of flavour. Would definitely come back!

Went here around the end of June with my best friend because we’ve heard good things about this restaurant. However, our experience was not as we hoped it would be. We came around lunch time and the place was practically empty. The hostess was really sweet and greeted us kindly and even complimented us. After we were sat and given the menu, our server didn’t come to us until like 15-20 minutes later, at this point we were thirsty, hungry and had finished deciding what we wanted to order 10 minutes ago. Usually, a server would introduce themselves like 3 minutes after you’re sat but that wasn’t the case with us which was odd seeing as the place was practically empty. We only saw the server when she asked for our order and when we asked for her to come and give us the bill. It took us longer to have our order taken + to get the bill than it did to finish our food and leave. We didn’t stay for desert, and instead went somewhere else for that. We even went and bought food elsewhere because we left this place still hungry. Anyways, the food was okay and kind of overpriced for the serving. Safe to say, this place was overhyped. However, the atmosphere was okay and it was a cute restaurant.

Had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We ordered two pizzas and a pasta, and the food was truly delightful. The dessert was equally amazing. Our waitress Emma, provided excellent service and was super nice. The overall service was fast, and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. A great dining experience!

The food is excellent - the mushroom truffle pasta and the pizzas are delicious. The service however is the issue. I wish our server would’ve not rushed us and told us before we ordered that the bill could not be split amongst our group of 6. Some had to pay 20 extra for drinks that we did not consume. it ended up being $56 for one pasta.

If you want atmosphere and ambiance with tasty food, this is the place to go. The food is incredible and the wine is paid by the ounce on Tuesdays which makes it a good place for wine on a budget. The truffle pasta (malfamé ai fungi) was amazing. We went as a group of 4 and had focaccia, Brussel sprouts, kale salad and calamari to start with truffle pasta as our mains. I’m rating 4 stars as they forgot to celebrate our birthday! Our server was not attentive, we had to wait very long to get their attention and order and it took 40 minutes to get our bill with the server coming back to ask what we ordered to re-enter the items for the bill.

An airy industrial space that offers quality Italian dishes for all types of pallets. The service is very professional and upbeat. We went for brunch and had two dishes and drinks. Both were large portions and fresh. The eggs were free-range and you can taste the richness of it. The pizza dough was not chewy but had a nice texture. The seats at the smaller tables were not comfortable though, the bench on the side looked more comfy. The kitchen is open. It is noisy but you can see which dishes you want to order. And it was tough... They all look good!

I have been wanting to try this place since before the pandemic when my co-worker first told me about it. We visit Mississauga every year to visit family, but due to the pandemic, we haven't been in the past two years. The funghi pasta came highly recommended by my co-worker, so I had to try that. My husband and I also ordered the lamb meatballs for an appetizer, daviola pizza, the strip steak and tiramisu. The funghi pasta was AMAZING, and something that I would totally get every time. Everything else was really good too, cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come back again during our next visit.

Gusto 101 has a great ambience. It’s high ceilings and it’s industrial loft finishes really give it a cool feel and look. Great service and delicious food. The Octopus and Black Kale salad were fantastic! I ate more but forgot to take a photo as it was too delicious. I will definitely be back to Gusto 101

Gusto never disappoints. Went here for our anniversary and the food is amazing. The pizza is so light, having the same texture of a pizza from Napoli, and it has a fun sweetness to it which makes it so unique and delicious. The pasta is also amazing. If you love mushrooms, I would definitely recommend that. Finally, you cannot leave this place without trying their tiramisu. It is unlike any others. I personally love it, but it is something everyone should try at least once. Thank you gusto, would highly recommend!!!

The food at this restaurant is completely amazing, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The server servicing us was funny and friendly as well, most of all provided us an amazing service which made our experience that much better. The restaurants design is fantastic, and loved the architecture of the place. The only shortfall I have with Gusto101 is that the atmosphere of the place. The tables, to dine for 2 are extremely small. Besides that no complaints. Overall, I have to rate this a 5/5, and this is a must try restaurant in Toronto.

Gusto 101 - Celebrating my big 4 0 today and the wifey planned a lovely luncheon. Definitely one of my favourite Italian joints in our great city. For starters we got the carpacccio and their newest salad the invernale (citrus, persimmons, fennel, olives and chilli). Both we absolutely delicious and light enough so we had room for our mains. Whenever you visit @gusto101to you must order their malfalde ai funghi and this time we also copped the grilled branzino (I love seafood). Both were executed perfectly and we left completely satisfied. What a great meal with amazing service! #TomEatsYummyFoodBecauseWhyNot

Finally got to try this place! I've been to Nervosa but never Gusto all these years. I was happy to discover recently before trying Gusto that they have the same owners and the famous mushroom Truffle pasta and Margherita Pizza from Nervosa is the exact same offered at Gusto! We ordered: Beef Carpaccio Margherita Pizza 12oz Bistecca Mafalde Ai Funghi Mavalcea Tequila The Carpaccio was good, very mild tasting and the beans on top was a nice balance in flavor. Pizza was same as I remember from Nervosa as well as my all time favourite Madalde Ai Funghi with their homemade pasta noodles! They actually overcooked the steak from medium rare to medium well but it was still soft as a good cut so we didn't complain to the server. Looking forward to trying the kale salad next time!

Hands-down the best pasta in Toronto. I'm not a vegetarian and I almost always need meat, but the mushroom pasta was just to die for. The seafood pasta was also very deculent. The only thing I'd pick on is the price point - but the taste makes up for it.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and I must say, the experience is consistently delightful. The funghi pasta, Mafalde Ai Funghi, a personal favorite, is what I usually order. This time, I opted for the Diavola pizza paired with a Houndstooth Irish Red Ale, and it was a winning combination. The service was impeccable, and every dish we ordered, including the Bistecca and maitake mushroom, was expertly prepared. However, it's worth noting that the tables are placed quite close together, which can make the space feel a tad stuffy at times. Overall, though, it's still a top-notch dining destination.

After hearing glowing reviews, we decided to give this Italian restaurant a try. The overall atmosphere was lively and inviting, with ample space to accommodate our party of eight. The food didn’t disappoint either; the Polipo (Octopus) dish stood out, perfectly cooked with a delicious blend of potatoes and squid ink. The Salsicce Pizza was also a hit, with large slices and flavorful sausage. My friends enjoyed their Lasagna and Mafalde dishes, which were equally satisfying. The drink selection was impressive, with standout options like Il Vischio and a commendable runner-up, Stella Cometa. The tiramisu dessert was a highlight, boasting a delightful texture and balanced flavors. Unfortunately, our dining experience was tarnished by our server, who, while efficient in delivering our meals, was overly pushy in encouraging us to order more than we desired. A more polite and less intrusive approach from the server would have greatly enhanced our overall enjoyment of the evening. I would definitely visit this restaurant again hoping the serving experience is more delightful.

Came here few times and the food is consistent. The funghi pasta was absolutely delicious as always and the vibes were really nice. Our service was lovely and everything else we ordered was great! The octopus was cooked super well as well. The tables are quite close together so it feels a little stuffy though.

I’ve been wanting to come to Gusto for the longest time and never got around to it. How have I put it off so long. The atmosphere and space is great for an intimate dinner to catching up with a group of friends. The drinks were on point and the food… AMAZING rich flavour. The mushroom pasta is definitely a must if you eat at Gusto. It’s so creamy and decadent—literally could eat another bowl of that. I also liked the arancini, which was crispy and a bit of spicy. Good place to chat and catch up. The servers were really nice too.

Wow! We were so glad we found this place! Highly highly recommend. Outstanding service from Nick our server. We were there pretty late close to last call and everyone was so nice. Nick was the best server I’ve ever experienced, he’s very knowledgeable about the menu/patient and a delightful person. The food was exceptional as well. Although the portion could’ve been bigger. I’ve had the truffle pasta and tiramisu and it is to die for. Will definitely put this on the list of top restaurants we’ve ever been to. Amazing staff, exceptional food, and overall a great dining experience.

I've been anticipating trying this place for months. We booked our table through OpenTable and were seated right next to the entrance door, which was letting in cold air due to the 3C temperature outside. The disappointment arose when we noticed two empty tables—one of which we got which was right next to the entrance and another indoors. However, the staff mentioned someone else was waiting for the indoor table. While I didn't argue, it seemed perplexing given our earlier arrival. Nonetheless, I appreciate the prompt relocation to the upstairs area, which they opened just in time. Our server, Ilyas, was exceptional and very helpful. In terms of our order: Burrata: 10/10 - Fresh and a must-try. Shishitto Peppers: 5/10 - Lacked a wow factor, just okay. Mafalde Ai Funghi: 10/10 - A must-try; made to perfection. Spaghetti Alla Calabrese: 10/10 Pizza Funghi: 10/10 The true showstopper was the Tiramisu, undeniably one of the best I've had in Toronto. Anyone visiting Gusto 101 should definitely try the Tiramisu. However, a drawback to our experience was the portion sizes. Despite being a party of six ordering seven dishes, the quantity felt more like a snack size. While I understand businesses aim for profit, this seemed disproportionate for the price paid. Management may need to address this to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat visits. Overall, the experience was good.

Great atmosphere and dining experience. Super charismatic and attentive staff. We greatly enjoyed the food and sitting at the bar. The Calamarata shrimp pasta was fresh and light; the Salsicce pizza with sausage was really delicious as well. A fluffy tiramisu and rich cannoli were delightful endings to our meal. Compliments to the chef!

This is a place for good Italian food. [Food] I ordered the Mafalde ai Funghi and it was delicious, the flavours all complimented each other reaching a crescendo of taste in harmony. I only wish the meal was larger so there would be more to enjoy. [Wine] I ordered a bottle of the house wine, it was smooth and I recommend it. [Atmosphere] I sat inside, but the patio is where you want to be.

I've always said this, and it still remains true until today - this is my favourite Italian restaurant in Toronto, and my last trip pre-covid was to Italy! by fluke as my friend and I were walking down king street without a reservation we had both said we'd be so lucky if we could get into Gusto for dinner, and I guess the saying is true - Ask and you shall receive! We were fortunate to get seated on the patio upstairs and it was my first indoor dining experience since the pandemic and I have to say I felt incredibly safe. The staff was amazing and I witnessed how thorough they were when cleaning up after guests. we ordered the pizza and the pasta as our mains that we were going to share and a bottle of Chianti. we realize that the people who seated after us got their food before us who by fluke ended up ordering the same dishes that we did. When we asked the server how come our food wasn't here yet because she had told us that it was on the way she realize that the kitchen stuff accidentally gave it to the wrong couple. I really appreciate the fact that not only did they give us a free appetizer which was the kale salad they also gave us our dessert for free which was the tiramisu. I really appreciate the fact that they went above and beyond even though they didn't have to and obviously I will continue to keep saying this is my favourite restaurant, the food and service there is always amazing!

My first time here. The food on this menu is so good. It's hard to pick something bad. The portions are perfect, not too big not too small. I went with two others and they loved their choices too. The servers are wonderful and ambience quite good. I was seated on the top floor, barstool seating, overlooking the skylight.

It’s been forever since I ate here. First time was a few years ago. It tastes the exact same as the first time. The mushroom pasta is easily 5/5 stars. The red sauce dish (forgot the name) could not live up to the deliciousness. The place is always crazy busy so expect to wait quite a while for a table

Everything was very good 😍 especially the mushroom truffle pasta. The Tiramisu has crunchy texture from the dry lady finger (I don't know if it was on purpose, or is there any mistake) so for the tiramisu it self it's not my go to. But the rest are amazing, service are amazing.

Just wow.... Tasted the richest mushroom flavored pasta ever made and it was A M A Z I N G. The Malfade ai Funghi is cooked with portobello, porcini, oyster mushroom and a truffle cream sauce. The size portions were just right and it can be a bit heavy so I'm glad my boyfriend ordered the Casarecce al Ragu to balance the flavors out. The mushroom pasta is rich and creamy while the ragu is towards the acidic and savory side with the iberico pork and tomato sauce. The calamari fritti was ordered as an appetizer and the batter was thin and the calamari was quite tender. Every ordered item was so delicious, and I love the rustic design of the restaurant's interior with the open kitchen. You can smell the amazing aroma of everything being cooked. There was very little street parking, but there was a close by private lot for $20CAD. Came here on a Monday afternoon before my flight and my boyfriend and I got seated immediately. So glad that Gusto 101 is open in the afternoons. What a great way to end our trip in Canada.

Everyone gets the mushroom pasta (which is really as good as people say it is) but I would also pair it with the kale salad which really helps balance out the heaviness of the pasta. It’s a very cute patio and upstairs area. Been here a few times and will always come back!

Food is great but it is sooo busy and loud( perhaps the architecture makes every noise echo) that makes it a bit stressful for dining. We had our usual mushroom pasta that was delicious but tried their steak for the first time and it was one of the best I’ve had!! I also really enjoyed the octopus as starter.

We really loved our food here and everything was a hit! The tiramisu was also the best I’ve eaten in my entire life (and I’ve been to Italy multiple times). Can’t wait to go back and try out other meals here. 200% recommend!

First time here on a weekend with a reservation. The outdoor patio is beautiful with lots of seating. Our waitress offered us still & sparkling water but didn’t mention that sparkling water costs $6.00/bottle we also didn’t see it on the menu. We waited for our food for a long time and saw people that arrived after us receive their food first. The Margherita pizza’s dough was far too thin that you almost had to fold if to eat it properly and it tasted more like tomato than cheese. The pasta was not any better unfortunately and wasn’t worth the wait. For the price of $23 for the pasta we’d expect a bigger portion and better taste. Our server also seemed too busy for us and didn’t update us on why the food was taking so long until we asked. Pretty disappointing experience as we were very excited to try this place.

I enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio, indulging in the flavorful Houndstooth Ale and tantalizing spicy arancini. The atmosphere was delightful, with a bustling ambiance and a welcoming environment. The friendly staff provided exceptional service, enhancing my overall experience. Recommend.

Easy to make a reservation, great vibe, has a patio feel on the upper level even tho completely enclosed. Prompt service, always love when water is brought and left at the table. Do find the menu a bit small in terms of both food and drink offerings but what I had was great, actually found the portion to be perfect in that it was a filling meal and easily finished so no need to lug around leftovers to bring home.

Amazing experience dining here. This restaurant gets quite busy, so making a reservation is best to secure a table. First and foremost, the food was excellent. I split three pizzas with my friends and each of them were unique. Definitely something you wouldn't find at a regular pizzeria. I also had a small sample of their pasta, that too was delicious. The atmosphere and vibe at the restaurant were really nice. It's very dimly lit and makes for a nice date spot. And lastly, the service we got was good and attentive.
