😐 The food I would call decent. The waffles were mildly warm but not hot enough to feel fresh, and the salad was one of the most plain salads I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. However if you ask for the home fries to be crispy, they come out tasting wonderful. To be fair, I don't go to a resta... People often mention good, brunch, breakfast, vegan, wait, eggs, great, service, menu, nice,

However if you ask for the home fries to be crispy, they come out tasting wonderful. To be fair, I don't go to a restaurant for their fries though. The food I would say is okay, but nothing special. The view of the CN tower was lovely!

Great breakfast spot to hang out with friends or family or both! Beware of the wait tines, they are first come, first serve with no reservations. They are famous for their fulsome vegetarian and vegan menu. I was surprised with the chicken and waffles. It seemed like a hit or miss but the many positive reviews on it made me try it out. The sour cream really sets off the mix of sweet and savory. The chicken is a bit dry but it is very crisp and flavoured with some tasty spices. The kids menu is generous. My son gobbled up the chicken bacon and the home fries. In fact, the home fries make all the dishes better they are that good. Nice and crispy and seasoned well. Pancakes are dense yet fluffy with a bit of sweetness that makes you not need to drench with Maple syrup. Staff was super nice and even gave a complimentary ice cream for my son.

I have to say that our experience was not that great. The food is really good and we enjoyed almost everything. The pros: -the French toast is to die for! -the steak and eggs plate was delicious -the home fries are perfect. -our waitress was super attentive. -the portions are big The cons: -we felt mistreated and discriminated by the hostess ladies. - we waited almost 2 hrs to be seated. - lack of organization and clarity on how they manage their tables. -the mango tango is terrible and hot!!! Unfortunately we were really hungry and we’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, that’s why we decided to stay. Overall a bittersweet experience. Would not recommend because nobody deserves this kind of customer service.

A very classy spot for a good breakfast. The location is nice with a full patio and regal interior. Get here early (before 10) if you’re coming on a weekend as the spot gets packed. This place also has a full vegan menu, opening up the area to the rabbits. The home fries taste great and the arugula salad has citrus/mango peels that give it a nice zest. Safe and upscale spot for a good breakfast; price is a little on the higher side as a result.

Food is good. Atmosphere is good, been here twice now and the quality of the food is pretty consistent. Love the Chicken and Waffle. Don’t expect to be sat when you walk in. Make a reservation if you can. They always have a waitlist. Service is lacking. Servers could be more attentive and friendly. Other than that it is a great place to have brunch!

Went on a weekday morning. Not too busy which was good. Food came quickly. Good portion size. Staff were friendly. Ordered a cafe mocha. Topped with whipped cream. It was great. My one recommendation is that the spoon be placed on the side or is longer because it was hidden by the whipped cream making is messy to take out and you can't stir your drink. Eggs Benny with smoked salmon was decent. Staff were friendly with a smile.

3.9/5 - went on a snowy Wednesday at 1:30pm. Place was half full. Great ambiance. Fun background music. Service was pretty good (had to wait for coffee refills) but server Tia was very nice and efficient. Menu has some great options. By all accounts, with the location and no competition close by, this place should be a 4.5 star brunch spot. Problem - quality of food. Otherwise it was a 4.3. Eggs - scrambled - came out like an omelette - not fluffy or impressive. Home fries - came out Luke warm (but tasty). At 1:30pm it’s almost inconceivable anything wouldn’t be fresh. They had the taste of sitting in a warmer box or similar. But we’re not fresh. Salad - decent but sloppy plating making it look huge but not well put together. Greek salad onions were all different sizes. I could go on, but won’t. Owner (or one of them) I believe was there. He was polite and professional. I could have done this a 3 star, but I’m giving the benefit of the doubt here. Feedback - don’t miss this opportunity to run an outstanding brunch and lunch spot. Be on top of the food quality and output and you will shine. Side eggs at $6.99 for 3 was delicious. Smashed the bread into the over easy.

I follow review in Google map. It is so impressive here. The restaurant is nearby CN tower, opposite side. You can enjoy your meal with god view. Today I order Montreal lox and smoke salmon. All food is really good taste and beautiful. Enjoy your breakfast here! Recommend.😘😘😘

The food was decent but we waited 1 and half hours to go in and we were charged 18% gratuity. When we finished, the waitress claimed that they cannot do more than 3 separate bills for a group of 10 people because it would take too long. Not worth the wait and effort coming here. Overall only recommend if you don’t have to wait and is nearby.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Evviva for brunch, and overall, I had a delightful experience. While the service was a little slow, the charming outdoor patio and the delectable food more than made up for it. Let's start with the ambiance. Evviva boasts a lovely outdoor patio area that immediately sets a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Surrounded by lush greenery and bathed in natural sunlight, it's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal. The seating arrangements were comfortable, and the patio's warm and welcoming vibe truly added to the overall experience. Now onto the highlight of any brunch outing—the food. Evviva's menu offers a diverse selection of dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. From classic breakfast staples to more creative options, there is something for everyone. I was particularly impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. Each dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh and were skillfully combined to create a memorable culinary experience. Whether you're a fan of sweet or savory flavors, Evviva's menu will surely satisfy your cravings. While the service was a bit slow during my visit, I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Despite the wait times, they were attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. It's worth noting that the restaurant was quite busy, which may have contributed to the delayed service. However, the overall positive atmosphere and delicious food helped to alleviate any frustrations caused by the slower service. In terms of pricing, Evviva offers good value for the quality and portion sizes of its dishes. The prices were reasonable, considering the upscale ambiance and the top-notch ingredients used in the preparation of the food. In conclusion, despite the slight setback in service, Evviva is a fantastic brunch spot that excels in providing a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The picturesque outdoor patio creates an ideal setting to savor a delicious meal, and the food itself is a testament to the chef's culinary expertise. If you're willing to be patient with the service, you'll be rewarded with an unforgettable brunch experience at Evviva.

Went for Sunday brunch after waiting for 1.5 hours. It was worth the wait. Loved the chicken parmesan sandwich with herb fries. Pancakes were a bit dry but the serving is enough for 2-3 people. Lastly, florentine eggs were amazing! Definitely recommend anyone looking for a nice breakfast/brunch place in core downtown area.

Good food. Reasonable service speed, friendly staff. The food was ready rather quickly and I assume this comes from pre cooked home fries. Overall the food was enjoyable with a city price. $68 for two people breakfast with a coffee and latte with tip. Nothing to keep me coming back with certainty cut can recommend for a diverse menu and quick food.

I visited Evviva today after the triathlon event. We were a party of 10 people and all of us enjoyed our time at this place. Lots of appreciations for the warm and friendly welcoming! We were forgetting our bike locks and the crew helped us to put them in a safe area, so we could enjoy our time with peace of mind! I ordered the Florentine Benedict which came with fries and salad. Other friends ordered Evviva breakfast sandwiches and traditional breakfast. The food quality was good, with fresh ingredients. We also had mimosas and we all loved it to celebrate the race day!

Cute little breakfast place. Good food. The crepes with Nutella and strawberries, the fruit was fresh and the portion generous. The steak and eggs were also great, the meat was tender and the potatoes delicious. The dressing on the salad made one piece of toast soggy. Pricey, but I'd go again.

Went here a few times with co-workers and friends and tried a different menu item each time. While the presentation is phenomenal and the interior of the place is stunning, the food itself unfortunately doesn't live up to the way it looks, which is disappointing considering the prices as well. I.e. The waffle is spongy and doesn't taste homemade, the crepes aren't thin at all and more like pancakes, and the eggs aren't seasoned that well (potatoes were good, though). Likewise, the service and wait time is quite slow. Overall, it's pretty, but I have been to much better breakfast places value and taste-wise.

As a mom of 3, I try to make time for each one of my children to spend some quality time with. So I took my daughter here for brunch on Monday. We were sat pretty quickly - we did their patio for fresh air, the inside was very loud and bustling. We opted for a more quiet scene. We both had their eggs Benny classic. She had a chocolate milk and I did a cappuccino. Their cappuccino was very mild, and average taste. Perhaps I’ll try a coffee next time. Our plates arrived all beautifully plated and drizzled with flower petals. My daughter was all smiles, “mama can I eat the flowers?”. She enjoyed her dish, although I realized we should have just gotten two plates and shared. Their French toast also looked amazing. Minus the slight interruption of our table being stolen while we went to wash our hands, it was a good dining experience. Overall a great brunch spot and now has become one of our faves for our daughter mom dates.

A decent breakfast spot with nice ambience. The food is good but not great, just your typical breakfast style food. I do have to say I was very surprised by how plain the salad was. For the price, I was expecting better quality. But I would still recommend checking it out once if you haven’t been! The menu also has a great vegan selection.

I have my mixed opinions of this place and let me explain in detail, why: Food - fantastic! We went with the all day breakfast options and truly loved the quality of the eggs and meats (especially the chicken bacon - tasted better than the real thing). However 2 drawbacks on the food that they can easily improve. (1) the toast was not toast but slightly warm bread. Luckily the quality of bread was good but did not have a toasty flavour. (2) the side salad is just arugula so I recommend either they should serve a salad or just say arugula in the menu. Service - average! This is mainly because the waitress hardly took the time to learn about our flavours to ask us if we need any recommendations. She was in a hurry to leave us whenever she needed to. As soon as she served us our eggs, she did not even ask if we need anything else. There was another waitress that I had to call to get some sauces and she was super sweet as I told her that I know that she is not my server but I need something. Vibe - loved the interiors! I do not know why people are choosing to sit in their patio on the street side when their indoor location and vibe is so well done. Would I come here again? - MAYBE but if I do, I would request that the salad and toast is well done and would prefer another server.

It was a great experience if we forget the waiting time. I have been over there at weekend and wait time was 40-50 min. Try to go on week days when they take reservations. Else wait outside in winter is little bit difficult. Food was fantastic and would like to try some more for sure.

👩🏾‍💻 We visited Evviva Breakfast & Lunch a few weeks ago. We came from Hamilton and the experience was amazing‼️ *𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 & 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 provided amazing and memorable service. I absolutely love this place, and if you are Vegan, this place really has you covered. This is more than your regular Breakfast spot, with so many options, the food is hot ~ 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫~ and the decor is amazing for a little get together or a Birthday Celebration. If you are visiting or live in Toronto, it is a must try. I will definitely be back on a regular‼️ Try them out professionals and let me know what you think 💭 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒗𝒚 💕

We came here for breakfast after it was highly recommended by friends and family. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lots of variety on their menu with options for vegans and dairy free. Their portions are huge and the food came incredibly quickly. We had the western omelet, dairy free eggs Benedict, 3 eggs combo with bacon, ham and sausages, club sandwich combo. I definitely recommend this amazing restaurant if you're in the Barrie area.

A lovely place for brunch! Dunno how it escaped me for this long. The waitress was really kind to accommodate all my low carb diet based requests. The egg benedict on smoked salmon on a base of tomatoes and a side of smoked ham was exactly what I needed for my Saturday brunch. The simple omelette with egg whites my friend got were really well cooked and the house fries were just about enough crispy. The salad was amazingly well dressed. The vibe is super cool too. One star stolen from service to highlight the fact they forgot our cutlery and water.

Beautiful restaurant and lots of variety for all diet restrictions. Although I'm not vegan, I was surprised to see the amount of vegan options available. I was a part of a group of 6 (5 adults and 1 child). We had a reservation for a Friday lunch at 12:30. We were seated next to the beautiful Sakura tree. It took quite a while to grab the attention of a server. We weren't introduced to one when we were seated. Luckily a server walked by so we got her attention and she said anyone can help us. I had an amazing Traditional Eggs Benedict with a freshly squeezed OJ. So good!

Place is has a very original design, it’s clean, the staff is friendly and the food was good. I would suggest this place with family or just with friends. Place for kids are generous and I loved the kids glass that will prevent the juice from spilling, very clever! The only thing I didn’t like was how long their menu is, which makes it longer to make a decision.

Came here for brunch and it was great! There is a wait, but if you join the wait list from Yelp, it can definitely save time! Their food was so good. We got Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and French Toasts. The potatoes that came with the eggs benedict were so good. The bread for the French toast was so fluffy and soft. Need to come back to try something else!

Very nice place, good atmosphere and interior. Food is DELICIOUS!! We had great time there with my friend. The host (the women in the front of the restaurant) wasn't friendly, she didn't say 'hi' or 'by', nothing like that. Through we had to wait, we managed to have nice table with the help of very friendly man who works there. I'm not sure of he is a manager, but he made our morning. We would definitely go there again.

Came to this place on a Saturday, and waited for a table, which was about 40 minutes. Didn't mind the wait time, but the service was questionable. The waiter came by, took our order, and mentioned that the food would come up quickly... the food arrived half an hour later. I ordered the vegan benedict, which looked good, but left a lot to be desired. The waiter only came by to see whether we were done, and took a long time to get the bill settled. During the dining experience, noticed a lot of staff standing and talking to one another, which makes me wonder why the service is slow? Not sure what's going on, but not likely going back here

Evviva is a really great, solid choice for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They have an extensive menu with lots of GF/Vegan options for those who want to try something new or need accommodations. They have a decent size patio and indoor seating area. I really enjoy the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. The food was very tasty and I would recommend going to anyone. It’s especially good for celebrations as they have some “fancier” breakfast and mimosas. However, I can only give 4/5 stars. The location is extremely busy, so there is usually a wait as it’s very hard to get a reservation. They also don’t take reservations on weekends. In my experience, due to the volume of customers, the customer service is a little lacking. The staff are friendly, but we didn’t have our waitress come to really see how things were doing. We were actually missing a few things, and after waiting several minutes after the food arrived, we flagged down another staff member to help. It’s hard to make customer connections when you’re extremely busy, so it’s understandable. I will recommend to people for the food, and I will return, just note that depending on how busy it is there may be delays in service.

On my final day in Toronto, we set out early to explore the city, and luckily, Evviva, one of the few breakfast spots open, welcomed us. Located just a brief 3-minute walk from the CN Tower, this eatery was a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Our arrival just before 10 a.m. coincided with a vibrant morning buzz. The host efficiently secured us a table in under 10 minutes, making our transition seamless. Evviva's interior effortlessly exudes an atmosphere of elegance, accentuated by the soft illumination of white chandeliers casting a gentle glow and vibrant green floral accents creating an open and inviting atmosphere. Once seated, our warm and attentive waitress made us feel right at home. Despite attending to multiple tables, she managed to be courteous and attentive throughout our meal. I began with a refreshing mango juice, a delightful kickoff to the morning. For my main course, I ordered from their all-day breakfast menu. Opting for the bacon, ham, eggs, and sausage combo, complete with perfectly grilled potatoes and fresh bread. I couldn't resist adding a double stack of blueberry pancakes for a small extra fee. The portions at Evviva are satisfyingly generous. The grilled potatoes were bite-sized and had a delightful crispness. The ham and sausage were scrumptious. While the pancakes were not exceptionally fluffy, their density paired well with the syrup, but not enough for me to thoroughly enjoy them. Evviva offers great value, with fair prices that match the quality and quantity of the delicious dishes. For a memorable breakfast experience in Toronto, make sure to visit this charming spot. Order *Mango Smoothie *All Day Breakfast - Bacon, Sausage, Ham & Eggs with toast and blueberry pancakes for an additional $2

Great food and service in general. Waited a bit long in the beginning before being served with water but the food came out pretty fast after ordering. The food tasted great and the environment was nice. We can see the CN tower for where we sit. Some of the food was a bit salty for my wife but it worked well with bread and fried potatoes! Recommended!

There was a long wait to get in. The staff was very friendly, but sometimes difficult to get a hold of, it seems that they were understaffed. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. It was maybe a bit pricy for the quality we received. For one person of the group, the burger meat was not cooked as asked. We asked for medium, but it was rare, so we had to send the plate back in. It came out just right after that. The matcha latte I got was good.

Excellent vegan menu exists. The sunny side up eggs are a revelation. Looks just like the real thing and tastes pretty good. The vegan eggs Benedict was also amazing. A vegan breakfast sausage and vegan bacon was also very good. It's so nice to see such a full vegan menu for brunch. Must try!!!

The vegan menu is incredible. So many vegan selections! I was looking at vegan restaurants in Toronto, but this one never came up, so I'm going to keep typing vegan to help Google find it! I had the vegan Reuben, and it was one of the best things I've eaten in years. The restaurant is not vegan, but the have an impressive vegan line up. Vegan.

The food was good and tasty. The vegan omelette was god but a little too oily for me. Our server was good and was very nice. The only thing which was off was the person in the front who greeted us was kinda low and very like she was half asleep. Other than her, all the service and everyone was nice. Will definitely go here again.

I had a lovely brunch here on a Wednesday morning with a friend. There was a bit of a wait about 20-30 minutes but we were seated afterwards. The food was really nice. The eggs cooked over easy, exactly to my liking. Though the salad was simply some arugula leaves. No dressing or vinaigrette. Everything else was quite tasty and nice.

It's pretty good for a brunch spot. The staff do a great job of taking orders and getting the food out relatively quickly. The food itself is your standard brunch fair. You can come here for brunch and be full and satisfied.

The chicken & waffles is simply gorgeous. I ordered a chicken & waffles breakfast set and it could probably be the best breakfast I ever had in Toronto. The chicken breast is crispy, tender and delicious. The waffle is fluffy and crispy. It tastes best when you have it with the maple syrup and lemon cream. The downside is that I waited at least 30 minutes for the meal. :(

Food is mediocre at best. We ordered the steak and eggs, traditional eggs benny, buttermilk blueberry pancake and sausage as sides. Everything was pretty bland.. the buttermilk pancakes were terrible - really dry and tasted powdery. Paid extra $2 for blueberries and there were barely any. I think I can make better pancakes with a pancake batter. We usually don’t mind waiting for food if they’re good but the wait was extremely long. We waitlisted online at 1130 in the morning and arrived by 1250 as it advised us. We were seated at 0130 and food was served at 0215. Not sure if their vegan menu is what’s good, but there’s nothing special about this place.. interior is nice though. Overall for the price and quality of food, wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely brunch spot right in the heart or downtown Toronto. We went on a raining Sunday and the wait time was over an hour but definitely worth the wait. The staff were very nice and friendly, food and drinks came out fairly quickly and our choices were very tasty. The portion sizes were a little smaller compared to other brunch places, but overall very good.

Husband and I ate twice here during our stay in Toronto. Really impressed with the food at Evviva! I thought the food was done very well, and was so tasty. I got to try the Just Egg Breakfast Sandwich and the Vegan Maple Waffle - both so good. I also loved that the place was so busy with patrons, great atmosphere. Location is also really good, very central. I will say, however, that with a fully vegan menu, the non-vegan menu seems a little out of place. Either way, definitely a spot to return to!

Great place for brunch. Got the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with a side of sausages. Generous portions. Poached egg was perfect. The interior of the restaurant is very elegant. Our server, Judeen was so friendly. They do not take reservations on the weekends so prepare to wait about 30-45 minutes. The wait went by quickly though. I'd definitely come back.

Wow. What can I say about Evviva? I went for the first time at around Midday on Thursday, and could not have been more delighted. Evviva has THE BEST side by side vegan and omnivore menus (meaning I can take friends for breakfast and they won’t hate me forever), their interior is very cool, their staff is so warm, friendly and helpful, but most of all their breakfasts were INCREDIBLE! I ordered the Vegan Slam Platter which was next level. While the picture attached may show some empty plate, this is because I couldn’t wait to get stuck in before taking the photo! Everything was perfectly cooked. This was one of the best vegan breakfasts I have ever had from a restaurant. 110% will go again!!

Tried their Florentine Benedict, Chicken Pesto Sandwich and Nutella waffles. Everything was fairly decent, in terms of taste and quantity. The ambiance certainly adds to the experience with reasonable attention to detail. The food could however, be better or more experimental. Nonetheless, a pretty good overall experience.

Though the food was nice but I did not had a good experience with the staff there. It was a Sunday afternoon and the place was super busy. We almost waited for an hour to get a table. We sat at our table and waited for 15 min for someone to take our order but nobody showed up and ultimately we had to ask one of the waitresses if we can place our order to which she rudely replied “I am not your waiter” and walked away rather than helping us. Then we asked another staff and she called our waiter. The waiter who served us was very sweet and nice.

We went here for the brunch during the fall, so we were able to sit at the patio, view was great, with CN tower in the background. Service was extremely slow, we had to wait over an hour for our food. We ordered steak and eggs and eggs benedict with salmon. Steak was great and cooked perfectly to medium well and Cholula hot sauce made everything better. But salmon tasted kind the off so we end up switching it. Stuff were also very friendly and price was also very reasonable, especially for downtown!

Enjoyed our meal here! Got the Evviva breakfast sandwich and ham, bacon, and sausage breakfast. Both delicious! I particularly enjoyed their brewed coffee (with flavours of vanilla and hazelnut) and mango smoothie.

Best vegan brunch I’ve ever had, a very good experience from the delicious food (how do they make those delicious vegan eggs with the runny yolks?) to the excellent service from the staff. Highly recommend using the waitlist feature on Yelp to secure a table on the weekends.
