Great healthy honest cooking. I enjoyed a farmers plate for 12.99 1 protein and 1 side. Served in under 5 minutes. Great breakfast spot as well with all your favorites at very reasonable prices, especially considering the competition nearby. All very local and organic. Why would you eat at the crowded and cramped st Lawrence marked when you can have great food, steps away in comfort?

3.5 stars. Came here for brunch this past Sunday. When we entered the restaurant we just stood there not knowing what to do as there were no signs and hostess. The chef from behind the counter told us to grab a seat anywhere. We sat close to the front door and noticed this happened to others as well and some people didn't get greated at all. Not a great first impression. The food was good but not great. The corn bread was on the dry side and should have been served warm with some butter on the side. Their version of shakshouka was very chunky and didn't eat well with eggs. Presentation was nice and the food was served hot. This place needs a vibe.

Farm’r Eatery is a sweet space. It has a real local simple rustic vibe. The food is all about local created by a team of chefs who came from fine dining but wanted to be closer to the people who come into the space. Being beside St Lawrence market means they get the freshest of the fresh and because they are housed in a Co op they are very price conscious. Come to eat here whether you are a vegan, meat eater of GF. The food is rustic and super tasty. Please follow @joannasable on Instagram for more food fun.

Terrific place for lunch! $20 for great portion size, healthy food with fantastic flavours! Clean washrooms. Rustic but clean with a touch of fairy lights for atmosphere. Lovely patio tucked away from street noise and still tree filled views at both ends! Friendly, fast, good value. Even grab a craft beer or cider or a glass of wine! We will be back! This is a find!

Great local fresh food! Delicious, healthy portions! Nothing deep fried on the menu! Awesome coffee served from Pilot Roasters! Great tea selection too! Greenhouse juices available here! Everything is carefully chosen! Even the current bottled water brand has proceeds to charity! Wide variety of choices! Great for vegetarian and vegan options too! Excited to try breakfast and brunch soon!

Amazing delicious food. Whether you are a vegetarian, vegan or meatatarian. Our table had salmon, chicken and beef brisket. Along with the main, you get two sides to go along with it. I can eat and the beef brisket along with beets and feta salad along with the creamy potato salad was perfectly sized. For under $15 you can't beat the price. For dessert, it's chocolate chip cookies. Check out the visuals!

"I can see why healthy people would be regulars here... it's so good... but I don't see myself being a regular here!" What time we arrived/Wait time? Arrived on a Wednesday at 6pm. It wasn't that busy. Got a table right away. Got busy around 6:45pm. Atmosphere? Ugh it is beauuuutiful here. So simple. Almost seems like a fancy soup kitchen. They really push community style seating because everything is just a bench style. you eat beside strangers and just enjoy their presence. Love the exposed pipes and plants everywhere. Service/Staff? Everyone was quite nice! Nothing too over the top. Hardworkers. Teamwork was good there. Food/Menu? The food is super healthy here. Everything is locally sources and hormone/antibiotic free (the meats). They have tons of healthy vegan options as well. We got the pesto salmon, beef brisket, roasted carrots, kale/quinoa salad and potato salad. It was so yummy!!! Prices were decent as well.. pretty cheap! I felt healthier and good about my life choices when I walked out of there :)

A nice neighbourhood joint in the Esplanade/St. Lawrence Mkt area. Renovated industrial space with warm colour tones, farm house tables, relaxed atmosphere, and good homemade food. It is a lovely place to get together for brunch with some friends on a weekend in a casual, unrushed setting. And the food was delicious. Can’t wait to try the regular menu as well.

This is a fabulous little spot near the St. Lawrence Market that's well worth a visit. The food here is local, fresh and incredibly prepared. Maybe the coolest thing about Farmr is the speed at which your meal is served. It's way faster than a typical restaurant and the service is genuine and friendly. It was our first time visiting Farmr, but certainly won't be our last. A fantastic experience all around.

Simple eatery that offers a combination of a protein and 2 sides. Prices vary based on selection. I had the falafel with a side of asparagus and mac n cheese. Falafel was a bit dry and crumbly and cool (I like them deep fried, hot and crunchy on the outside) but flavours and seasoning were quite good. Asparagus were lightly grilled and perfect doneness. Mac n cheese was lighter than most. Overall, good flavours. Portions are definitely on the lighter side.

Farmr is an absolutely amazing little gem off the Esplanade. The food is fresh, delicious and uniquely prepared. I love that the ingredients are locally sourced. The rustic decor in the restaurant is paired with some jazzy features like the neon lights in the back wall. The staff are friendly and helpful and very happy! They always had a smile on and it looks like a happy place to work. The eating area is primarily long picnic benches with a park feel to it. I enjoyed the lemon chicken, Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. The pricing is a little high, but in keeping with the freshness of the food, perhaps that is acceptable. It was a wonderful evening. I can’t wait to return!

Farm'r is a nice little eatery near St.Lawrence market (downtown) that offers simple honest farm-to-table type food - a healthy alternative to the downtown dining scene. The interior is very clean, modern and with a rustic touch from the wooden table tops and accents. They also have cute outside seating. I ordered the hay roasted chicken, which comes with chimichurri sauce. For my two sides, I chose roasted sweet potatoes and Farm'r salad greens. The chicken with the chimichurri sauce was very delicious. The bite of vinegar from the sauce and the freshness of the herbs made for a tasty accompaniment to the poultry. Unfortunately, I think the chicken was already cooked ahead of time and reheated. I found the portion of chicken to be a bit small. The generous portion of roasted sweet potatoes were tender, seasoned and spiced very well. The greens were fresh and lightly dressed with some oil and vinegar - this was simple but well done. As alluded to above, after the plate, I was still hungry, so I ordered the grilled asparagus and fennel salad. This was not worth an additional $3.50. There was barely any asparagus and it was too charred to eat. The asparagus pieces were chopped very small which made it hard to take off the char. Although the portion size could increase, I found it to be a simple, healthy and overall tasty meal.

REVISED to 3 stars from 1 star - they finally did respond to me (after messaging on their website, on Facebook and leaving a review here). The food looks great - the communication leaves something to be desired. I placed an order... says 'awaiting fufillment' still, 1.5 wks later, despite the company saying they ship tues/Thurs if you place your order by 1pm the day before. Zero communication received back despite several attempts via several avenues - does the company still exist??
