The food and the decoration of the restaurant have good catching and delicious. Some dishes don't have good decoration as good eye-catching, more than that, the price isn't affordable because u can see in the picture the plate is just small size and has a little food. Overall, I still recommend you try the Papaya salad with mini crabs and the Pineapple fried rice.

Great Thai food and a worthy sister restaurant to Pai. The chicken laab was fantastic; acidic, savoury, and satisfying, even with the cilantro I loved every bit. The pad Thai is also very good, but I we found the spice level to be very inconsistent. My friend had ordered the same spice level and his was much more mild. The Thai iced tea float was a bit of a let down and I think I’d have preferred just the iced tea. Ultimately I think KSR and Pai are better, but this place is great for a Thai food fix and probably the best in this area of the city.

We couldn't find any good Thai restaurants whilst we were traveling, we are so glad we found it here in Toronto. Authentic Thai flavors👌5⭐️. I ordered green curry (chicken) twice cause it was really good. The color of the curry looks like orange in my pic but it was actually green.

Tumbled upon this place while looking for end min dinner last night with my friend. Some of the items on the menu I have never even heard about them before. We ordered the clams and fish. Both the dishes were very unique and flavourful. But we couldn’t resist ourselves to try their Tom yum fried rice as we saw almost every table was ordering it. And it was delicious. Both the clams and Tom yum fried rice are recommended in their must try list on the menu. The portions are good size and reasonably priced. I asked the waiter, from which part of Thailand the food was representing and he said central Thailand. The service was good and the casual atmosphere was great. Definitely coming back to this place to try other dishes on the menu.

Great experience. Food was served fast and delicious. The staffs were very friendly and found the positive energy in here. Space is great for couple and small group up to 6. The soft-shell crab is the only item got 9/10. The rest was 10/10. Crispy pork belly dish was a hit. In general, I will definitely be back.

Reasonable prices, great service. They always refilled my water! We got the pad Thai and Khao soi, both were flavourful and were made to order within 15 minutes of ordering. There is a small patio outside if you like to dine outdoors.

In case you can’t tell from all the photos in my review from multiple visits (not including the countless takeout boxes haha), Si Lom is certainly my favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto, after being introduced here from a Thai Muay Thai gym coach. I don’t think you can go wrong with any dishes here, especially if you order the typical Thai “signature” dishes. Everything pictured in my review are 10/10 quality. A few dishes in particular stand out for me, including Tom Yum Fried Rice (extremely flavourful, with juicy shrimps), Pork Jowl Laab (perfect combination of savoury and spice), Pad Thai & Pad Kee Mao (can’t go wrong with these classic noodle dishes). As well, their sweet items including their ice teas (both black and green teas), as well as their desserts such as their Coconut Ice Cream, and Durian/Mango Sticky Rice are to die for.

We got several of their dishes to try. Khao Soi was BOMB, the Broth was insanely RICH, it had a nice amount of tender Braised Beef that was fall-apart tender, the Egg Noodles were chewy, loved it! Pad Kee Mao Moo Krob was a Thai-Style Glass Noodle stir-fried in a flavourful Sauce, topped with Deep Fried Pork Belly, the Noodle itself was delicious, but the Pork was very dry… Tom Yum Koong was a Thai Sour & Spicy Soup, it was flavourful, it had a nice amount of Sourness and Spiciness to it, so good!

Si Lom offers the most delicious Thai food. We tried out the Tom Yum Pad Thai which was definitely a nice twist to a regular Pad Thai. It was super yummy and had that tangy flavor to it. My favourite was the Pad Kee Mao which was spicy and sooooo good. I absolutely loved it!!! We also tried a regular Pad Thai and Tom Yum Soup which were amazing. Recommend checking them out, they offer lunch special which is totally worth it!

Great atmosphere and big space, was easy to get a seat on a Thursday for dinner. Dishes are served so fast, so wait times shouldn’t be long! I had the Tom Yum soup which comes in a personal size (which I was able to share between 2 people)! It was really good and sour in a good way, would definitely recommend trying it. The crispy pork pad see ew and chicken wings were good too, but nothing too special. The Tom Yum was the star of the show for me.

Had an amazing time at a Thai spot in Toronto! The staff were super friendly, creating a warm vibe. The food? Some of the best Thai in the city! My favorite is "Pad Si Ew with shrimp". Totally recommend for a delicious experience.

I ordered the pad thai with soft shell crab and the crab was definitely the star of the show! The pad thai itself was pretty standard and a bit more sweet than other pad thais I’ve tried before. The dish comes with mango salad which I am allergic to — the chefs were able to remove the mango salad, however I do wish they could have substituted it for anything else, especially since I had to pay the same price ($28). Service was kind and very fast. The restaurant interior is pretty nicely decorated, however there were a few flies flying around my table.

Good portion, flavourful and affordable for Thai lovers in downtown Toronto. Service was quick and attentive. Music was loud though! We ordered 4 dishes and the highlight is Pad Kee Mao Moo Krob, which is stir fried noodles with crispy pork. Must try! Crispy pork is not oily, not too salty and indeed crispy. We got Thai milk tea too - lack of milky taste - not the best that I’ve tried.

Wow. If you’re looking for a flavourful fried rice, this is it! I loved the cherry tomatoes and mushrooms in this. It was the perfect blend of sour, sweet, and savoury! There was a good amount of shrimp in this dish too. I got takeout and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. The fried rice is a bit more than I would normally pay for this dish, but for a treat it’s absolutely delicious! The Thai server was very helpful and kind. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu!

such good pad thai and a great place to get cheap drinks! we got one of the cocktails buckets, which were an awesome deal. the calamari was also pretty decent. service was great and ambience is cute -- it's like a small hole in the wall.

Super nice place for Thai food. Beautiful decorated tables and walls, like the flower pattern. Love the pineapple fried rice. Came here for several times and love all the food here. Reasonable price for its portion. Good place for spending time with your friends. Friendly staffs and such a nice environment for a drink too. And good location, so many other restaurants around. Will definitely come again for its Thai iced tea!

Lovely place for Thai food on Church street. Though it’s a smaller space, the atmosphere is still great and the outdoor seating was also open for additional tables when we visited. Pricing is pretty comparable to other establishments around the area. Food itself is great as well—we especially enjoyed the mango sticky rice deluxe with ice cream and the bucket cocktail. Definitely going to have to try the jolly rancher one next time.

Nice atmosphere and good overall taste. Tried the tom yum pad thai with crispy pork. First time having crispy pork at a Thai place, thought it was going to be similar to bacon but it's actually pork belly fried, so it's an interesting texture, I feel like it is a hit and miss for some people's tastes but I personally didn't mind it. Cool drink options available as well. Overall, solid choice for Thai downtown.

Amazing food! My sis and I ordered the pad see ew I got chicken and hers was vegan. The flavours are very smoky and rich. They aren't huge on portions but it's the right amount. I highly suggest getting a lychee juice to accompany it.

Very nice restaurant. Recommend: Thai iced tea/iced green tea, can ask them for half sweet, Soft shell crab, calamari, mango sticky rice. Note: Annoying flies accompanied with indoor dining, I guess the AC temp is not cool enough to get them away. If the weather allows, choose patio.

Papaya salad (9/10). Zesty. The crab was an unexpected surprise but so much flavour. Spicy tho! The stir fried glass noodle: 10/10. Unexpexted wok hei my goodness. So good! Fried chicken wings: 7/10. Wings on their own eh. But rhe SAUCE carried it Thai iced milk tea: 9/10. Wish they had a hot version but otherwise great. Cute small place. Cosy. Great service

Great experience for a local joint. Fast and friendly service. The only problem is their crispy pork rice, while it’s appreciated that the pork skin is VERY satisfyingly crispy, the pork belly attached to it is also that. Which makes it very dry taste plain.

Second time eating here and both times were a delight. With their 'street food's style of Thai, you get twists on the standard Thai fare in Toronto that will surprise and elevate the experience. We've tried the soups, the clams, the curries and the apps and all have been fantastic takes on the dish types. Couple that with a good and well priced beer list and you've got a winner! First time was on the patio, second time inside, both good service experiences.

Ordered takeout. Green curry chicken mild was spicy!! Pad Thai crispy pork - pork was hard and dry, understandable since it was takeout I guess. Noodles were stuck together and a tad on the sweet side but otherwise okay. The restaurant is very and packed.

The ambiance of the restaurant was alright, it is situated at the heart of church street. I am a beef person so ordered beef noodles which was okay. Maybe next time I will try other items with chef's spice level to make them more flavorful.

A gem amidst fast food chains, on my first visit yesterday blown away by the flavor bomb that pad Thai was. Spring rolls despite being deep fried were free of greasy oil... delicious filling, perfect skin...I was drooling. Can't wait to be back to try their whole menu ! Tips : Do ask to be served, as the place gets busy the person does get forgetful and we waited for a good ,15 mins feeling ignored .... plentiful options for vegans and Vegetarians, can't wait to try their drinks next time.

I would recommend everyone to try the spicy basil crispy pork with rice. I tried this dish in other places but Si Lom killed it. I love the flavour. It is not too greasy or salty like other place. However, try it if you can handle spicy food. Besides, the staff is very polite and attentive to customer. I will come back to try other dishes

I ordered here pretty regularly for the past year or two and recently they have been very inconsistent and gradually shrinking the portion of their dishes. Here is a photo of a ~18 curry that doesn't even reach a half depth of a plastic fork. Really unsatisfied with the direction the kitchen has taken. The staff is always lovely. After returning and explaining the situation the staff agreed and corrected the issue without a problem.

Love the decoration and atmosphere of the place. We ordered the mannam curry, green curry fried rice, and calamari. The calamari and fried rice were alright, nothing too special but the mannam curry was amazing. Would love to go back to try their pad Thai and other curries. Overall a nice trendy place for Thai food but food was average.

Restaurant was full since it was friday night. But thankfully we didnt have to wait to be seated. Restaurant was decorated with halloween theme. Food was delicious. We ordered vegan speing rolls, thai pad noodles and vegan curry rice. Everything was tasty and healthy. The service was real quick and we were so hungry that we ate within half an hour. Price is reasonable and staff is respectful and polite. Loved the ambience. Will visit again soon.

I was recommended by a friend to give this place a try because their food tasted good. I ordered the tom yum soup, stir fried noodles with seafood. Everything came pretty quick and tasted great until the 2 clams in the noodles. It tasted a bit unusual but I didn’t pay it no mind at the time because I assumed because of the way it was made. Later when I got home, I started feeling nauseous and then realized I got food poisoning, most probably from the mussels (the right of the pic). Overall, very disappointed and would not recommended anyone.

Pad Kee Mao Chicken was on the sweeter side, with a nice oil fragrant and to a lesser extent wok hei. The chicken chunks were pretty moist and had nice flavour. Slight chili aroma and coupled with some long green beans. Khao Kra Pao was a little cold coming to the table, the cucumbers didn't taste the most fresh but were a good balance to the grilled beef which was a bit tough and dry. The egg was fried and the centre was cooked through. Soft Shell Pad Thai was on the more sweeter and sour side and wetter than other dishes. Had raw bean sprout, lime, tofu to accompany and was alright but good to my mom. The Soft Shell crab was good, aromatic and had a slight crisp. Soaked up a bunch of wok hei and was fatty which paired pretty well with the sour pad thai. The mango on the side was alright too. Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!

Went here for a dinner and the food is decent. Pretty pricey but tasted ok. I got chicken pad Thai and it was honestly not as great as I expected, portion looked big but it was not too filling... the dessert was great but not cheap as well. There was too much beansprout for the amount of noodles, so the ratio was a little off, more like eating salad with some warm pad Thai below it lol.

Ordered fried pineapple fried rice with shrimps and eggs. Didn't like the dish..sorry, ..smelled, tasted weird... had like only five pieces of shrimps that tasted okay But the rice...not fried enough..the egg mixed with it tasted weird. I've tasted better elsewhere. I dont think I'll try to visit again... Paid 25$ for it( including tax) Most customers had a plate of clams on their table...seems its the places specialty. The waitress didn't ask me how i felt about my dish..nor if im enjoying my food..nor if everything is ok nor any of these sort of questions... overworked over busy... I left half of my plate. I wonder if they offer a papaya salad ..why not offer papaya juice! I was hoping they'd be making one.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and it was a great experience! The restaurant has blended well with the buildings around we didn’t realize what it was until we looked it up. The food was delicious!! I love the red curry!! The portions were perfect for me but it might be little small for others. Ofc get the Thai iced tea (must if you haven’t tried one) However, I think the taste triumphs! Must try if you love Thai food or you haven’t tried one!

My over all rating for this place would be a 3.5/5. The food and flavours were pretty close to what I’ve had in Thailand and one of the only restaurants in Toronto that serves authentic Thai food, but the quantity did not justify the price. I went there to eat in alone and I ordered Thai ice tea5/5, Papaya salad 3/5 and stir fry crispy pork 3.5/ 5. My total came up to $50. The Thai ice tea was amazing exactly like what I had in Thailand! The papaya salad was a bit tangy for my liking but still fresh and crunchy and did have authentic thai flavours. I did really like the stir fried crispy pork but the quantity of rice was way too much and barely any meat. The price of the dish was almost $18 so I expected more meat and a bit more of the stir fried sauce cuz it felt very dry over all that rice. I definitely recommend this place to everyone but I would love it if they balanced the meat to rice ratio.

I ordered Phad Thai with shrimp and it was good. The shrimp was amazing, but the noodles were very sour. I know Phad Thai is normally a bit sour, but this one had too much lemon. The waitress asked if it was good and I said it was too much sour, she said it was normal and that phad thai is like this. I’ve already eaten lots of Phad Thais and none was like that, my parents also complained it was too sour. On the other hand, the food was cheap and came a generous portion.
