Delicious food! Though I had a few problems with the Carolina Hot wings. 3 of the wings were undercooked I had to cook them more in the microwave until the red is gone. Also the Carolina Hot which is advertised as their spiciest option was NOT spicy at all. It does have a kick but no spicier than Frank's... So that was a huge disappointment. Lastly the wings had noticeably big hair on the skin.. I understand you can't go through every single wing but it's just very unappetizing when you find hair on the meat... yikes. Though I'll definitely go back for the fries and burgers.

4.5/5 Fresh and hot burgers! We tried the Cabano and the Classic. The patties were simple yet tasty. Our preference was the Classic as the acidity of the ketchup brought the whole burger together. The Onion Rings! Yumm. Super crispy and piping hot. I would definitely recommend these. The fries were nothing special. What a great spot for a quick bite. We’ll definitely be back!

The Cabano’s Burger and Chilli Cheese Fries were great! It’s a nice Smash burger Patty with a good crust, but not too thin on the edges, so still nice and juicy with lots of flavour. The chilly cheese fries are a nice sized portion with lots of beef chilli topping. Service was quick, they have a self serve kiosk when you come in and there wasn’t much of a wait for the food.

Just some fancier-than-fast-food burgers.. but not a good deal based on the price. I was excited to try it based on the reviews but was quite disappointed. The actually patty amount felt like less than the weight advertised. I asked for no Mayo and my burger was therefore soaked with too much ketchup.. tastes too sweet and somewhat weird — why not think twice when offering customization? Nevertheless liked the fried jalapeño but the fries is also small in portion compared to the price.

Had a chicken sandwich and it was good portion, cooked well. They offer a supreme version which the only difference is a sauce but cost $2 more which seems like it should include more like onions and tomatoes for calling it supreme. Never had anything else but service was quick and effortless. Will try something else here if in the area.

By far some of the most best Smashburgers and fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had, I would say this place is a high-end burger shop that serves their burgers at a very competitive price, one of the things that stood out to me the most were the fries, I believe they were made in peanut oil or the taste of the peanut oil, they were crispy, and the cheese sauce was used on top was amazing. The place was located in a very nice corner area in Toronto and the inside was very clean and designed very well, aesthetic was very inviting. The combination of flavours and the quality of food was worth the visit, and I definitely will be coming back here again.

First time trying it. Really tasty, freshly cooked and great toppings. Got two Cabano burgers which has 2 smashed burger patties that are well crisped up. The fried jalapeños are great. Good balance in sauces I would recommend it and come again to order more!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was cozy, ordering was a breeze, and their Cabanos Burgers were a revelation. Crispy fries and crunchy onion rings were perfect sides. The friendly staff made our visit even better. Highly recommended!

Everything about cabanos is good. Need I say more? Their chili fries, their whitstack, their onion rings, their drinks. Everything. It works together phenomenally and I can see why it's in contention for the best burger in Toronto. If you get a chance, I would recommend a visit here.

Best chilli cheese fries in Toronto. I bet you can't find a better place than this. 10/10 The fried chicken sandwich has a light batter but super juicy. 7/10 The wings are pretty big with alot of meat with a good crisp. 9/10

I had a double cheeseburger and combo spicy chicken burger OG. The cheeseburger smelled badly a little, and it was so oily, too. The fries were too salty, not satisfied with that at all; however, I liked the spicy chicken burger. It tasted much better than cheeseburger, and I enjoyed it. Once you get there you should order from their kiosk, and should take the order and put it back once you finished. I did not like this idea which there is no service. I would say it is worth to try it, but not a second time from my opinion.

Waited about 25 minutes for a single cheeseburger. For this wait time and price, I was expecting something extraordinary. The burger patty was so thin and dry like a meat crisp (refer to photo). It was so overdone that I could hear the meat crunch when biting. The seasoning was nothing special either. Won’t be back. They tried to offer free ice cream but I passed on their offer. They only make burgers and fries and could not get it right.

The high cost makes it luxury food, and while the experience was good, it didn't feel like a luxury experience. I got the meal with the Cabano burger and chilli fries and I also added bacon. If I had to do it again, I would avoid the bacon because it's quite thick and distracts from the flavour of the beef, which is excellent. I ordered the Carolina sauce without knowing what it is, and it tastes like mustard mixed with pickle juice. It was not useful anyway as the chilli fries and burger did not need any extra sauce. They also let you have a drink and I got a Pop Shop pop. The meal was flavourful and filling, but was it worth $32.77/person? They would get higher points from me if they used real plates and a fry basket & metal fork when dining in, to make it feel more like fine dining. They have power outlets and the seats are laptop friendly, but I can't remember if they had WIFI.

Take the time to wander off of Yonge and grab a burger here. There's a lot to talk about at Cabano's. The burger was top-tier, and one of the best smash burgers I've ever had. This is no one-off either. I've been here a few times and their burgers are CONSISTENTLY good. The same is true of the service. These guys are dialed right in. If the goal is to get a burger in my hand as quickly and as efficiently as possible, these people have absolutely met that goal. Order on a kiosk, have a seat, they hand you the food, you leave. No attitude, no exasperation despite the place being filled with UberEats guys. Kitchen looked like everyone was super happy and were having as good of a time as one can have whilst working at a burger joint. This attitude is contagious and the customers see it, and they leave happy too! The burgers aren't cheap, but this ain't McDonald's and you get what you pay for. For the price of a Big Mac meal you could be chowing down on one of these burgers instead. You'll regret that Big Mac, but you won't regret a Cabano's cheeseburger.

That's the food you will receive if you order from this place. First of all, I found a hair on my burger which shouldn't be happened. But I said, okay and started eating the other one. However, they sent me a whole burnt patty and tried to cover it with cheese! I didn't see it till I took the first bite and spitted it right after I started coughing. Horrible experience.

Ordered delivery, got a triple cheese burger, double cheeseburger, cabanas burger, sweet bbq wings, another wing and fries. First time eating it and I was impressed. Sweet soft bun that had a good ratio of meat to bun. Hands down would eat here again

I came here thinking this is going to be another overhyped Instagramesque spot, however I was wrong! This place is worth the hype. I had the chicken sandwich meal and it was amazing! The chicken was fresh and juicy, the buns were incredibly good and the fries were AMAZING hand-cut style fries. Service was great too. I would definitely be back to try their burgers. Also, the location is so convenient for students!

Cabano burger🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️(the bun is the type I like, soft pillowy. Nice patties, smashing type added crispness , juicy. Sauce is okay. Pickles have been fried which is interesting. Overall, on the heavy side, but not greasy. Very fulfilling

located in a nice quiet street off bay street , i tried their chilli fries. the flavour is great the only issue was the portion size, which I thought was not fairly priced. Will comeback to try their burgers so hoping to update my review with more pictures.

I absolutely loved this cheeseburger place! It's a must-visit spot for anyone who enjoys trying delicious cheeseburgers. The menu offers some cool combos that include a mouthwatering burger, a refreshing drink, and your choice of side, making it a complete and satisfying meal. During my visit, we opted for the onion rings as our side, and they were simply delightful! The burger itself was a standout - the bun was incredibly soft and complemented the juicy, flavorful meat perfectly. You can tell they take pride in using fresh ingredients, as every bite was a burst of deliciousness. While the seating area is a bit limited with just a couple of seats, don't worry if you prefer to dine elsewhere, as they offer a convenient take-out option. So, whether you're in the mood for a quick bite on the go or want to savor your burger at the cozy seating area, they've got you covered. In conclusion, this cheeseburger place surpassed my expectations, and I can't wait to return and try more of their delightful offerings. Highly recommended!

The burgers here taste unbelievable -- smash burgers at their finest. It is a bit greasy so you may feel a bit heavy afterwards but probably worth it! I've gotten their wings a few times and they were good too. Chili fries were meh.

Hats off to Cabanos, you guys make some incredible food! I've been on the quest for the best burger in the city, and I've tried quite a few at this point; this might be number one! Perfectly cooked and crispy smash burger with bacon, cheese, and those delicious crispy jalapeños! The chicken sandwhich was also top-notch. You can tell its quality, and the pickle really ties everything together nicely. Now those loaded fries, wow! We got the chili cheese fries and loaded fries with the crispy jalapeños, absolutely love love love them. It's a really nice personal touch and a nice change to the good old poutine you find everywhere. P.S. love the drinks in glass bottles, everyone knows a coke tastes better in the glass bottle!

I would have given this place a 4.5 if there was an option. The fries were really awesome but for the price but it was way too little, it was definitely not a large size and cost $6. The burger was pretty good, it was a double smash with cheese. I would definitely order again but not sure about the fries.

Highly recommend Cabano’s for burgers and really good chili cheese fries. The burgers are so good. I like how the patty has some crunch to it and has just enough cheese where it doesn’t over power the burger. The highlight to me would be the chili cheese fries. These fries are so loaded with ground meat and cheese. It really is great comfort food for any occasion. The area is nice, but has limited seating. However, it’s near the manulife centre so you can walk there if the restaurant is full.

Not a bad burger by any means, but pretty difficult to justify for the price. I went to Cabano's on a quiet Saturday afternoon, craving a classic double cheeseburger. It was a whopping $15 after tax, which seems to be the standard for a slightly better fast-food burger. It was quite decent, with every ingredient tasting pretty fresh. The burger was very mustard-heavy, and the char on the patties were reminiscent of a homemade/local burger joint. However, I could easily find a double cheeseburger of similar quality for cheaper. All the reviews and different menu items seemed so positive, but I'm reluctant to come back due to the steep prices.

Thankfully we went at a quiet time and were able to find street parking. We went close to closing time so staff was getting ready close. It was almost a self service situation as you can order electronically on the huge tablets upon entering. The food was delicious and hits the spot. It's junk food but it's well made. It's a tad expensive for basic junk food but it IS well made so there's that. We devoured the food and forgot to take pictures 😬

Welp, went all the way down to go to a place that we heard was really good. Turns out they don't know how to follow an order properly. We never got the fries we ordered and they didn't remove the cheese we asked to remove due to allergies. Guess the moral of the story is always check your order before you leave. Waste of time......... but the food was yummy.

Great burger and nice vibes on the inside. Got a double cheeseburger to go and it was phenomenal. Good sized burger, great flavour and not super greasy (except for the cheese). The place was also spotless inside. The price was a little bit high at $13 per burger, and $4.50 for a pretty small portion of average flavoured fries are definitely not ideal, but it's not outlandish in Toronto so it is what it is.

For two, we ordered a single cheeseburger ($9.50) and a spicy original chicken sandwich ($13). We LOOOOOVED the burger! The buns were fresh, plump, and soft. The patty was flavourful and slightly crispy. They put just the right amount of cheese, lettuce, pickles. Overall, it was a great, balanced burger, 10/10. We were surprised by the flavour of the chicken sandwich- it was sour. I think it was louisiana style? But to us, the sourness was too overpowering. The cook was perfect though, crispy and juicy. 7/10 Split in two, we paid $12.70 per person! Definitely coming back, for the cheeseburgers only though :)

To start on a good note, the service was friendly, just slow. I was order #25 (to go) and they had served order #26 and #24 before myself. They did apologize for the inconvenience, and shortly after served my order. I was in a rush and left the place with my order. Returned home and opened up my package realizing that they had gotten my order wrong. I had ordered an OG chicken sandwich combo, but I was given a singles cheeseburger combo (see picture). I debated going back to the restaurant but figured I could simply contact the place via phone or email: there is no means of communication given on their website or on Google so I’m left to leave this review. Despite all this, the burger was very delicious, though I do wish they got the order right the first time!

  • 4/5 Steve L. 4 months ago on Google
Friendly enough so staff, Burger was great, but a little thin. We would get a double or a triple next time. Chilli cheese fries were a little light on the sauce but great and leave a spice in the mouth - we’ll get the spicy cheese fries next time

Cabanos is a solid pick, but the seating setup could use some improvement – it's all tall chairs, missing the cozy regular tables mix. Also serves as an accessibility issue. When I rolled in, the place was busy, and I had to sit next to the TV. Oddly enough, the TV was on full blast, though no one was tuned in – made my time there a tad annoying. On the bright side, the staff was friendly. And the spicy chicken sandwich? Simple yet well executed in flavours – definitely ranks high among the chicken sandwiches I've tried.

I was in the area and grabbed a quick burger (the Cabano Burger) to eat. It was pretty decent. The location has a bar stool seating inside and 2-3 tables for two outside.

  • 5/5 Kristian H. 3 months ago on Google New
While on a coffee bean mission at Eataly in the Manulife Center, my family and I made an impromptu stop at Cabanos. And oh boy, was it a winner! The star of the show? The Cabano Burger. This burger is not just a meal; it's a craving in the making. So good that I'm already planning my next visit to get another bite of that addictive deliciousness. Sides are no side show here. The spicy cheese fries were a highlight for me - just the right cheesy touch with a heap of crispy fried jalapenos for that perfect kick. And yes, I did a bit of 'quality control' on my son's regular fries and my wife's chili cheese fries. Research, you know? Seating's a bit like a game of musical chairs; we got lucky with a spot under the window, but I can imagine it's a hot commodity during peak times. If you're in the mood for a chat while ordering, bring cash. If you're more of a digital wizard, the kiosk screens have got you covered for card payments. Long story short, if you're near Yonge and Bloor and in the mood for a burger that'll ruin you for other burgers, Cabanos is your place. Trust me, go for the Cabano Burger, stay for the amazing sides, and enjoy the cozy spot if you can snag one!

Really solid all around. Bun is soft and pillowy, smash pattys are a bit crispy, and they put a unique touch on the toppings. Plus they have a few great additional options (chilli fries, etc) that not all burger joints have. Clean on the inside and very friendly staff. One of my favourite spots for burgers in the city.

A couple friends and I decided to finally try this place on their most recent Thursday special. It was one of THE best eating experiences I’ve ever had. The burger, fries and onion rings I had were absolute perfection. The staff were also super quick and very nice. This will be a spot that I recommend everyone to go! I’ll be back sooner than later!

They had an Uber promotion awhile back which was buy 1 get 1 which was a great deal and the first time I tried Cabano. I never really crave burgers but I remember it being delicious and satisfying my craving so I headed back this weekend. Ordered the cheese burger and it came with really fresh fixings and just an overall satisfying bite. Would recommend!

I would give a 5 stars but the wings are nothing special and over priced. The burger however was amazing, was very delicious to the last bite. Well seasoned double cheese burger. Total is just shy of 30$. Double cheeseburger and 10 wings.

The place is situated on a quite street in the Yorkville area. They have descent dine in area and couple of patio tables. The staff is really friendly and the place has got good vibe. Won’t recommend the place for a big group. The burgers are finger licking good. A lovely combination of juicy and lil crunchy. My favourite is Cabano Cheese burger. Supreme Chicken Sandwich has got good spice in it. The portion size is generous and everything is freshly prepared. They have really unique and nice drinks. Highly recommend the place to enjoy the delicious cheese burger in town.

One of the best chicken burgers I’ve had in a long time. Ordered the Spicy OG Chicken Burger. It was immaculately put together (not sloppily like a McDs chicken burger). The lettuce, pickle and mayo stayed in tact under the bun when you unwrapped it, and wasn’t falling apart even before you pick it up. The chicken to bun ratio was perfect. The spicy hot sauce was pleasing to my tastebuds. This is my new go to chicken sandwich spot.
