Amazing food and modern and new interior. Got the garlic shrimp and chicken kebab. I would recommend this place if you're craving middle eastern cuisine.

Tabule is one of the famous Middle Eastern Cuisines in midtown Toronto. We went here in the summer when the city had dedicated extra patio space to the restaurants in the sidewalks and Yonge Street. We arrived late for lunch (3 pm) and they were done for lunch time and not ready for night either; and, we were welcomed by their friendly staff. After asking for advice, we ordered Chicken Tawuk and Hummus with Beef. Hummus tasted good, especially with the in-house baked pita. Chicken was flavored with the right amount of spices and was cooked well.

I went to Tabule with a group of friends and split a number of dishes. We were not disappointed. Great vegetarian options. Flavoured perfectly. The food came so fast. The pita was warm and very tasty. Highly recommend the tasting platter. Overall, an awesome spot!

Fast service despite the busy hours. Decor is authentic yet modern and the waitresses and staff were all friendly and efficient. All the dishes we ordered were flavourful and perfectly cooked. The homemade pure pomegranate juice was refreshing and worth the price.

Great location to enjoy the patio, but don't let it stop you from enjoying the interior as well. Service was great and staff were very responsive. THE FOOD THOUGH! One of the nicest middle eastern food I've ever tried. Portion is large where one main is good for two and the appetizers do not disappoint. Absolutely loved the bread basket that comes out in mix white and brown pita.

My party of 4 decided to try this restaurant. The service is fantastic!!! They get 5 stars all year long👍. They were friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and it was packed with flavour. The rice was so delicious 😋. The crispy onion 🧅 bits added to the texture profile. The seabass was well deboned and was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. The Tawuk, lamb and salmon kebabs were grilled nicely. Perhaps just a tad on the ✅ done side. A minute it two off the grill would have been super duper. The veggies were grilled and charred nicely with good seasoning and salt. They were quite tasty indeed. I love supporting another local community business 👍. I wish that were had the chance to grab dessert 🧁 and coffee ☕️ here because everyone was ordering them. So they are very popular. But we all decided to try Rachel’s Coffee House next door. But we will be back again for sure 👍. Happy Eats everyone 😎

Tabule is a great place to have a delicious dinner, they have good dishes. Service was not the best, the waiter was a bit rude and the experience was not as great as we think we wait for a plate long time. Even if the food is good It should improve the service.

Amazing place to be in for Middle Eastern cuisine. Babaganoush is a must have here. Food is well cooked, falafel was not dry and had a unique taste to it.

Won't recommend ordering online. I ordered two Tawuk Skewers and Two Grilled veggies, they just sent a bit more than one in quantities of each items. This is the second time it happened. First time I let it slide, but this is unacceptable. I ate there so I am aware of portion size. Also no pistachio was on Knafa Ashta provided. I complained to Uber, let's see. Otherwise food is delicious. But I don’t appreciate the deceitful attitude of restaurant serving less to delivery customers just because they are not in person to complaint. My husband started eating without knowing how much I ordered, so didn't take photo of the half eaten food, but here's the dessert.

I can't imagine how someone would have a negative experience at Tabule. The food is always fresh and the staff are all super nice. When it comes to value for the money, I think their food is overpriced by around 10-15%. For example, Tawuk costs $21 and consists of 2 chicken skewers. However, there's no way 11 pieces of chicken are equivalent to 2 skewers. Also, instead of so much rice, they could reduce the amount of rice and add fresh veggies to balance out the meal. I also recommend the restaurant owner to add dark meat chicken thighs to the menu, because folks like me don't eat chicken breast. The mere fact that they serve mennonite chicken is HUGE!!! Very few restaurants prioritize the quality of their ingredients to the point of going through the trouble of procuring chicken from the mennonites - the best source of chicken, lamb, beef, etc. I have to admit that the sampler platter for $21 is really good. That's what I'd go for on a hot summer day. I'm not sure if I'll be back at Tabule anytime soon, for I have other favourite places in my neighbourhood, but it's a suitable destination for quality middle eastern food.

We had a really good experience here. The food was amazing and everyone working there were attentive. We really enjoyed the baba ganoush and found ourselves coming back to it between bites of the other things we ordered. The grilled entrees had that smokey flavor for the grill that added to the flavors perfectly. There’s a lot of shareable plates so if you have a group of friends that want to try out many different things consider coming to Tabule.

The food at Tabule is very good and fresh. I loved the falafels! My table mates loved the lamb chops and garlic shrimp I haven’t been there since the renovations and I do like the modern aesthetics. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Would go back

We ordered a variety of things starting from shrimp dishes, lamb, chicken but I don’t think I would recommend this. If you’re someone who knows his food, you’ll know this place isn’t worth it. The only reason why I’m even giving an extra star is because of this waiter who seemed to be new and really nice and kind. - Lamb was not cooked well. - Rice was very bland. - Both chicken and shrimp were cooked in a very dry way hence all the meat was very chewy. - Service was very very very slow. Thanks to the guy who wasn’t even our assigned waiter but he helped to move us from our patio table to dine in table.

I liked the food, although it's not an ideal spot for a lunchtime meeting. I arrived at 1:10 PM, but my main dish didn't arrive until 1:45 PM. I ordered a lemonade, baba ghanoush salad, and kefta as the main course. The salad and drink were quick to arrive, but I couldn't finish the main course, I was hurry back to the office, and had to take it to go. This place is better suited for leisurely gatherings with at least 2 hours to enjoy the food and atmosphere. The dishes were flavorful and fresh, and the service was good, although a bit slow. This might be due to the busy lunchtime crowd on a Friday, as most of the tables were occupied. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys this type of cuisine.

Went for lunch to the restaurant. Started with a sampler platter of Tabuleh, Baba Ganoush and Hummus with Hot Pita Bread Greek Mediterranean style and Akawi Cheese. It was excellent and felt that the food was being enjoyed in the streets of Beirut instead of Younge Street. It was so delicious and flavorful. The mains were Grilled Prawns with garlic and Mediterranean sauce Prawns in tomato garlic sauce Kefta Veal tenderloin We opted to have all the dishes with grilled vegetables instead of grill vegetables and rice. The food was excellent and the lady serving us was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. This is a must visit place and not only once but on a regular basis. The chefs, the servers, the management need a shout out for such good care Keep up the good work

Loved the ambiance of the place. It has a spacious, well lit and well ventilated indoor seating, with a very big outdoor patio. The decor is very elegant too. For starters we got the sampler platter with babaganuj, tabule and labni. This comes with complimentary pita bread. For mains, we got Tawuk and substituted for mujaddara rice. We finished our meals with kunafa ashta and muhalabiya with Lebanese coffee. Everything was delicious, highly recommended.

Twice I've dined at Tabule and twice I've been thoroughly impressed. The last visit saw me indulging in their Kebab Bandura and Eggplant Mujadara, both of which were simply sublime. It's evident that they're consistent with their quality and flavors. Can't wait for my next visit! Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and delicious experience.

One of the best foods I’ve tried in Toronto so far!!! The dishes are veeeery juicy and delicious, it is hard not to notice good quality and choice of products! We were very pleased with the service as well, but the food… it’s something else. Just yummy! Thank you Tabule, keep up the good quality 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Amazing Middle eastern food! We ordered the egg plant, cauliflower, table salad and of-course the hummus!!! Amazing amazing amazing! The cauliflower was a big hit with my toddler. For the first time I was completely satisfied with everything we had ordered that day. Friendly staff and a good place to go with infants/toddlers. Highly recommend.

Amazing food.. The chicken liver is such a beautifully delicious dish along with their lamb chops.. Absolutely delicious and the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Toronto

  • 5/5 Zee A. 7 months ago on Google
It’s so difficult to find authentic good quality Lebanese food in Toronto. Tabule is definitely one of the few authentic places in the city. From the large picture fairuz, to the delicious food, and the use of a brik to pour water, tabule is truly authentic. Our favourites are the chicken liver, sampler platter, and tawuk, but everhthing on the menu equally as good.

The service and food was absolutely amazing! I do recommend reservations here - if you do so, they actually give you a better seating. Strongly recommend their eggplant starters - you will not be disappointed. A great place for a date, will be coming back :)

Great vibrant place in the heart of Toronto on Yonge, just N of Davisville. Classic middle eastern specialties are offered on the menu and one cannot go wrong with anything your tummy craves that day, or evening. Crowd is mixed and full of positive energy, regardless of the age. Service folks are beyond and above, and we've been served by 5 of them! Good tempered and always with a non-fake smile, pleasure to talk to and willing to assist. Reasonably priced. Not to be missed!

We have dined here many times and nice to see the same quality and service maintained over the years. Restaurant has even better vibes post the renovation few years ago. Authentic middle eastern food and taste and quality have been same fo years. Warak Enab, Arnabeets, sample platter and the Tabule salad all taste good( although the pita and arnabeets have changed a bit) Simplistic menu and reasonable prices ( a couple items are slightly overpriced) . Staff is courteous and attentive. Good dining option in mid town TO wherabouts.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and I recommend it. While the menu isn’t very extensive, the options are somewhat varied. We tried the Tabule and a dish with lamb/beef meatballs + rice + veggies and it was really good. (Sorry, I can’t remember the name). The drinks were amazing. Staff is friendly and the vibe is good.

This place was such a pleasant experience! They were able to find a table for us (though we only had 1.5h to eat as there was another reso coming in - it worked out for us since we had a show to catch anyway). Got the halum salad, akaawi, kubbe and lamb skewers main. Food was on point! That akaawi was delicious! And we were surprised when the lamb skewers came (normally our experience of skewers at other restaurants is that its more on the well done side) but our server has asked us how we liked it cooked (medium rare) and they were cooked PERFECTLY. Not only that, we had subbed the rice for their mujadara and when I tell you it was BOMB. Overall a little on the pricier end, but totally worth a try!!

We dined here with friends. While they ordered non-vegetarian dishes (Lamb Chops) and liked it a lot, we went to the vegetarian side and got the Fatoosh salad, Fried eggplant, Pickles, and I got an Espresso Martini to drink. The food was filling and delicious, although it looked like they loaded the plate with more cucumber and tomatoes to visually fill it up. The espresso martini was ok. I have had it on Emirates and in other restaurants, so this wasn't close to them at all. We then ended with the Panacotta which was perfect for 3-4 people to share since it is quite rich and heavy. While the drink didn't work out, the food is definitely worth another visit.

Been to Tabule numerous times and as usual enjoyed my visit. Had their hummus with meat, chicken liver and Kefta Bandura, which are my fav go-to dishes. I must say the hummus and chicken liver were on the drier side compared to before but I still love their food. The interiors are really gorgeous now with decent amount of seating. Great service as per usual with good priced portions/dishes. I also love their mint limeade. Thanks!

The food here is pretty great! Tabule Middle Eastern Cuisine is a great choice if you are looking for a sit-down Middle Eastern food. The food tastes really good, and it definitely isn’t over seasoned.

Went here for lunch with a friend because we were in the mood to try a new cuisine. They are a Lebanese based restaurant, so we were pretty excited. When you walk in, the interior is very clean, modern, and bright. To our surprise they were offering Winterlicious! (Although their restaurant wasn’t on the Winterlicious list of restaurants🤔). Regardless, this nice surprise elevated our experience. I ordered Lebanese coffee, as the server explained it is very similar to Turkish coffee (which I’m a fan of). It’s definitely lighter than Turkish coffee with strong cardamom hints. We ordered the Mezza Sampler (Hummus, baba ghanouj, tabulé and falafel) and Halloumi Salad for starters. The portions were generous. I mean we were full from just the appetizers. For mains we ordered a Kefta Burger and Salmon Kebab. The kefta burger was bursting with flavour and the grilled salmon wasn’t over cooked (yay!). Lastly, for dessert we ordered rice pudding and Knaffa Ashta. I personally loved the Knaffa Ashta, the custard was so creamy and flavourful but not too heavy. All in all we had a great experience, and would love to return.

Had a wonderful dinner with friends... Food was very tasteful. Portions were ok One minor thing that would be a good thing is a airlock at the entrance... Now when a group comes in and you are sitting in the front area... It's going to be a cold wind blowing.... And because there a many people ordering pick up or über eats it's a constant opening of the door... I think sitting in the back is better on colder days

  • 4/5 Rojan H. 1 year ago on Google
We came here for dinner, the appetizers (hummus and felafel) were so delicious and our drinks were good but the main course (lamb chops) was just ok, for that price I expected something better. But besides that, the most important thing was the service we received from our server Reine! She was so nice and caring.

  • 4/5 Erika T. 1 year ago on Google
I ate here recently as a walk-in looking for some nice middle eastern kebabs and drinks. The portions are large and the meat was well rounded. I recommend adding an order tahini sauce or other sauce if you do get a rice based dish. The lamb and beef dish was amazing, you get a lot of meat! The salmon dish was a bit salty.

  • 4/5 Mihir D. 1 year ago on Google
Tabule has very tasty food at all their restaurants. This restaurant is located on Yonge St and fits the midtown vibe. Their food literally takes you for a trip to the Middle East. I was seeing a few of my friends at this place. I highly recommend the sampler platter with hummus, labni and babaganuj. The food was served timely and didn't disappoint anyone except for me, in the end. I'm a big fan of skewers and trust in a chef's recommendation when it comes to certain dishes. I ordered the lahmeh (veal tenderloin) and the chef's recommendation was to cook it medium rare. I was very excited to try this but when the lahmeh arrived, I noticed the meat was well done. I didn't really want to point it out then as the restaurant was closing soon. It didn't taste bad but I missed the (tender)loin. Overall, amazing staff and great food! Worth a shot. Watch out for the recommendations.
