Great place for vegetarian food Absolutely Delicious! Love the falooda! Not too sweet. Perfect balance Staff is really helpful, friendly and super nice. Highly recommend for a vegetarian food!

I visited this place recently and when we went the place was very clean and quiet, We ordered Poori Bhaji, Ghee Paper Masala Dosa and Onion & Hot Chilli Uthapam. Service was very quick and the food was good. The only thing I would say is that I did not like their Sambhar as it tasted a bit sweet like Gujarati Daal.

My fav go-to vegetarian spot, especially the daily thali is so filling fresh sabzis, dal and chapati. The dosas are good too but I would recommend go for the thali as a first-timer.

A good hygienic place with all sort of South Indian dishes to satisfy your tastebuds. Slightly crowded during rush hours and may have to wait a little longer to get your food. 10/10 for the quality and taste of food. My ghee masala dosa was luscious. I was blown away by the flavourful sambar and fresh chutney. Kudos to the Udupi palace team!

Best South Indian food in the GTA. Great good, attentive quick service and nice friendly staff.

Nice restaurant that has great space for families and friends to sit and dine in. Their menu looks cool like a banana leaf, and the staff is friendly to answer your questions The best part about this place is their Manchurian idlis and ghee sada dosa is my personal favorite, along with the white coconut chuttney Thé not so good part about this place is the yoghurt or lassi was very savoury even though I had asked for sweet one, looks like they over fermented it…

I didn’t liked the food at all. Its a wastage of money to be honest as i have tried different South Indian restaurants and it would be the worst i have tried till now. Food was not fresh seems like they used half boiled potatoes. I would not recommend to go over here.

Ok, I admit I'm not an expert on Indian food. But the family enjoyed their meals as had I. My brother-in-law brought us here which is a positive because, as a local, he does have some street cred. So far I haven't gotten nauseous nor have I vomited, so that's another positive. With all that said, 5 stars.

Was craving for dosa since a long time. And yesterday visited this awesome place at Gerrard Indian bazaar. Loved the crispy masala dosa and onion and peas uthapam. Bit expensive but the taste is definitely on point

One of the worst service in this new location. I and my friend are right now in here been waiting for more than 30 minutes literally no one brought us the menu, and even a glass of water and dissapeared. There was just a jug of water. The server seated us, wiped the table and pushed the left over on the floor, and while the table was still wet placed the napkin and cutlery right on it. We were seated by the window. When we decided to leave that's when the waiter who seated us asked if we are leaving I told him we had waited for more than 30 minutes. He said next time I hope to serve you. My response to him was yea if there will be a next time. Horrible service ensure your waiters are either replaced or given some training on customer service. We have eye witnesses of other customers who did notice us leave in frustration.

Awesome exp. Had paper masala dosa and veg thali.. Dnt get surprise, if u charge Xtra dollar for sambar refill or another small bowl you ask for with paper masala dosa. Place was good, maintained cleanliness and quick service.

I went to this place with my mom today. We ordered a plate of idli and vada. We took our first bite and realized that the food was gone bad and had to cancel our order. We had a bad experience at this place. The plates and glasses were dirty too. The restaurant should def take care of the hygiene. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone . Thanks.

NOT RECOMMENDED TO EAT HERE. I ordered pav bhaji and extra pavs for take out. Both had very wierd smell to it. And this is not bhaji they’re selling. It was more like a lot of poorly chopped onions in oil and spices and some green beans, no other vegetables and wasnt properly cooked. I know what a bhaji is, and this definitely is not bhaji. Very disappointed.

Well...I didn't go there with any expectations because really you cannot expect much from this place. If you care even slightly about ambience (that word doesn't exist in the owner's dictionary), service (I could not tell the servers from the customers), atmosphere (sorry...what?), and most importantly, the food; we were a family of 8, and there were a few things that went wrong with the food, no salt in the lassi, 2 day old stale dessert (owner/server said so himself) - and then after complaining about it -in his words "we are not allowed to give discounts"...that was a joke. They are allowed to server bad food but won't acknowledge, let alone compensate for it. Such is the service here. Please visit at your own risk.

This place is my go-to whenever I’m craving a good dosa! Always served really promptly and it’s been consistently delicious each time. Try any of the lassi (pineapple or mango is superrrrr good) with anything spicy to help if you’ve got a sensitive tongue 😋 The decor in the space is really bright & vibrant. Really nice paintings all across the walls. Staff is so so lovely every time I’ve been. One of the uncles serving me even have me extra sambar as I was leaving. Here’s a picture of Hubert! Very kind man, business owner and really staple restaurant on Gerrard ❤️‍🔥

Not the best place. The sambar was watery and the masala dosa tasted very bland. None of the servers were available and the service was below average.

How does this place have such a low rating? The food is phenomenal. Expect gritty furnishing and indifferent service but food laden with uncompromised authentic flavour.

We have been going there for 18 years and it always amazing! Very simple and cafeteria looking but the people are lovely, the food exceptional and so reasonably priced! It's humble, clean and family welcoming. Love it! Thali is my fave.

It was very good. I never had something like this before. I was hungry and it filled me very well. Lots of interesting flavour! I enjoyed my time here. The service was great. The staff took time to explain to me what I’m eating. The washroom was clean so they get extra point for atmosphere.

I love South Indian cuisine but this wasn’t my favourite restaurant. The service was good but the mysoor masala dosa that I tried wasn’t exactly what I would call Authentic.

Ghee paper masala dosa is the biggest of all dosas and tastes yummy

This place passes the vibe check: clean, casual, friendly and homey. The food is good, but just not my personal preference. I like the white dosa though!

Good food and good service! Dosa was super crisp! Enjoyed our meal!

It's a nice place, I always know what I'm going to get, so there are no surprises. Gluten free dosa has not changed since 2018. I still don't understand why they add wheat to the normal one - traditionally it's simply urud dal and rice - fermented - no wheat required and that is the best dosa. I had palak paneer (spinach and paneer) - that was nice. My friend had normal masala dosa - that was also nice.

The pictures might look like ‘so so’ but the food was like ‘sooooo sooooo’ Anyways it’s feel good to be connected with our roots and food culture. The food tastes here like from the streets of Bengaluru. Anyone who might love south indian food and if they wanna try something vegetarian should definitely check this place out. The must try at this place is ‘All the items you can have from the menu’

An amazing south India restaurant with fast service, reasonable price and appropriate quantity. Menu is pure vegetarian and delicious 🤤 Have been going regularly for last 3 years and it’s at the best! The best part in authentic recommendations in menu.

It was tasty and very good prices, friendly waiters. The place itself is not fancy but i found it charming and remembering beeing somewhere in india. Overall really happy dining here. Be aware it is all vegetarian/vegan food but you wont will miss the meat :)
