Every single 5star review is well-deserved! We have driven by Lady Marmalade many times and have always seen long line ups, and now we know why! We had a cortado and a flat white to start. They were strong and perfectly made. I love it so much, I had a second one and now I’m buzzing! The food was fabulous. My mom had the BAB Benny and I had the salmon Benny. We both enjoyed our meal so much! Everything was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully! Our server was excellent and cheerful. When we mentioned how happy everyone seemed to him, he told us that that was what drew him to apply to work there. Solid 5/5 - go here!

First off, this place is beautiful inside. It's full of neutral tones, with greenery hanging from the ceiling. It's so lovely and there's lots of natural lighting. We ordered 2 cappuccinos, which were delicious. The cups are small but they were made very well! We tried out The B.A.B Benny, which was so good! I love the variety of eggs benedict they offer, there are so many different flavours. The BAB is bacon, avocado, and brie which makes for a delicious combination with the poached eggs, hollandaise, and english muffin. It's like a twist on a classic breakfast sandwich, this one is worth a try if you like brie! I also liked the home fries, they make their own ketchup which I also recommend trying out! Their salad was also very yummy and gave a nice fresh taste to the meal. We also got the Cochinita Torta, which is a pulled pork sandwich with queso fresco, avocado, citrus red onions, pickled jalapenos and cilantro crema. I was sceptical about this order but it turned out to be DELICIOUS. I love the addition of avocado, there was so much flavour with the fillings, the pickled jalapenos, and the cilantro crema. I would order it again. We got it with a side of tomato soup which was absolutely delicious as well! I went pretty early, just after it opened, on a weekday so there was no line up. It started to fill up as we came to the end of our meal so I recommend dropping by early! The waitress was super friendly and accommodating. My only remark is that their bathrooms are located right next to the tables along the wall which are a little weirdly placed. I would also say that the prices are comparable to other nice brunch spots downtown, the eggs benedict range around $17-$19, and the cappuccino was $4 each. However, I would come back again as the food was delicious and I loved the vibes and atmosphere!

First try and we love it already!! Beautiful brunch place, bright and refreshing. Good selection of brunch food and drinks. B.A.B Benny (brie- avocado - bacon) is a must try! The food was great. Quick and friendly staff. No reservations and usually has a line up outside the restaurant.

We had a lovely experience here! There was a line out the door when we arrived at 11:45, but they seated everyone very quickly, so the wait was minimal. The seats were comfortable, and the decor was tastefully done. Service was friendly, fast and helpful. The dishes were all very tasty - I especially enjoyed the salmon in the salmon benny... and the dessert bread pudding is delicious and quite soft. I will definitely return when back in the Toronto area.

Worth the wait time ! The food is splendid. Each dish was distinctive and flavour was on the spot. Loved the fact they had a vegan option, the Moroccan hash was so delicious. Made with tofu and chickpeas it’s well flavoured and tasty. Healthy plant based food. They have no reservations but can book on yelp. The refreshing juices and well made brewed coffee. Great place for a weekend brunch with friends and family. Would definitely come back. Vegan vegetarian options available.

We enjoyed an incredible brunch here on our way downtown. We make a habit of checking on Yelp on our way somewhere to see if there are any great spots we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. The line wasn’t too long, and we were seated within about 20 minutes. Our server was super friendly + attentive. We enjoyed an orange juice mimosa and a grapefruit one (both delicious). I had the poached egg BLT (so good!) and my friend enjoyed the BAB Benedict (and added mango salsa) I’m told it was delicious! + enjoyed the gluten free options. The restaurant is small (and two floors). Very bright + welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Get why it is so popular. The service is good, food is really yummy and interior is nice. Got spicy salmon sandwich with home fries and raspberry hibiscus iced tea. Also waffle with blueberry compote with lemon custard and whipped cream. It was just a friend and I on Wednesday lunch time so there was no wait but I imagine there would be a line on weekends. There is little space for couple of strollers to be parked folded up.

This small place is great for Branch. We went to try this place on a Sunday morning. It is a very popular spot and we had to wait about 30 min before getting a table. However, the waiting time paid off. We both ordered eggs Benedict one with pulled pork and one with salmon. The hollandaise sauce was very creamy and covered the eggs perfectly. We enjoyed both dishes. The coffee was refilled multiple times. I am sure I will be back.

Definitely a great restaurant for brunch. The service and atmosphere is beautiful. You can have a great catch up with friends and family. I will say the food was fair but not exactly different from other brunch spots. Nevertheless nothing felt disappointing and I would recommend to my peers, friends and family about this place.

We enjoyed a very nice brunch ! Food is at a great level with simple ingredients, price is a little high due to inflation I guess. I would love to see some innovations but it's just another brunch place with well-done same menu. Despite the long wait to enter, our window seats were rather relaxing . Coffee is delicious so as the tea. Staff are very friendly. Overall we had a good time.

If you're looking for a cozy spot with delicious food, Lady Marmalade is definitely worth checking out. Located in a bustling neighborhood, the restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a weekend brunch or a mid-week meal. One of the standout features of the restaurant is the street parking, which is free on Sundays, making it easy to find a spot and enjoy your meal without worrying about parking tickets. For those dining alone or in pairs, the seating is quick and easy. However, if you're with a larger group, you may experience some wait times. The restaurant is kid-friendly, so it's a great spot for families looking for a tasty brunch or lunch. The food at Lady Marmalade is definitely worth the visit. Whether you're in the mood for classic breakfast fare or something a bit more creative, you'll find something to suit your taste buds. The service is also considerate and attentive, ensuring that you have a great dining experience. The only area where Lady Marmalade falls short is the hostesses, who could be more welcoming. However, this small issue shouldn't deter you from visiting this great spot. Overall, Lady Marmalade is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy setting.

It’s a no frills no bs no hassle breakfast and lunch location. Line up could be long on weekends but on weekdays we were sitted immediately. The service was quick and friendly, coffee quality was good and fairly priced. Egg benedicts were cooked to the perfection. High quality eggs ( I care a lot) , perfect round benny and soft yolk, the hollandaise ans other sauces were also great. The fries came a bit cold and saggy but not gonna reduce star for that. They deserve 4.5 star rating.

My partner and I decided to begin our anniversary celebrations here. The food and decor are an absolute dream. The portion sizing per dish left me and my partner super full. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. My only gripe with the experience is the timing of seating for each table. We waited a whole 30 minutes prior to the couple behind us. They were seated and served well before us. Besides that, come hungry! The pricing is reasonable for the portions and the variety of dishes are unique and fun. Lines are inevitable here, so if you come in the winter, bundle up, as the line is outside.

We got the braised beef Benny and salmon Benny. Both were really good, the side salad was great also. The decor inside was very nice too. Docking one star because our server was not good. She did not ever offer to refill our water, and it was very difficult to get her attention.

Great first time experience. Always wanted to try but always a huge line. First impression - the place is small, but enough seating for a cute small place. Food wise - I enjoyed the A.M. Hash, the only thing was the eggs can be a little more undercooked to give it the actual poached runny center to run all over the potatoes. My friend ordered the Poached Egg BLT and was disappointed. Overall, I’d give this place another try.

I cannot believe I haven’t written a review sooner. I’ve been coming here regularly for at least 5 years, and I love it! It’s been incredibly consistent over the years which is such a huge feat for any restaurant in my opinion, I’ve never been dissapointed. The service is exceptional and so is the food. My favourite is the pulled pork Benny and the blueberry lemon bread pudding (this one is an absolute MUST) so delicious. The atmosphere is also super beautiful, lots of healthy plants and very scandi-vibes for the design. 10/10 reccomend you must have breakfast here at least once!

Delicious food, quality ingredients, friendly service, and welcoming setting. Came here with my work and although I love breakfast, I typically don't eat it so any chance I get for a classic breakfast I go for it. They have a wide variety of brunch and lunch dishes served anytime of day, and everyone was very happy with what they ordered. On my end, eggs were poached nicely, bacon and home fries cooked to perfection, and the sourdough was top notch. I'll be back to try more of their menu myself and from what it's seems, I'm sure they won't dissapoint!

Food is excellent ! Specially the perfect eggs in the Benedict. We also got a few drinks. The crepe croque Monsieur was nice too . But the waiting outside in snow and subzero temperature is not fun . They should be considerate about their customers.

The food was really delicious and high quality. I really liked the sauce for my braised beef benny and the fries was just perfect. The staff was nice and it was a cozy nice environment. I would give it 4 stars because we had to stay in the lineup for an hour and they don’t take reservations, which makes it quite inconvenient. If it wasn’t for the lineup, we would’ve definitely gone back

If you have ever passed by this restaurant, you will almost always see a large line out the door. They don’t take reservations, so you will want to line up early to get a spot; their food, however, definitely lives up to the hype! I came here with a group of friends for a friend’s birthday. I had heard of this restaurant before, and it surpassed my expectations! The design of the restaurant is super cute with its wood-centric theme, and there are many plants throughout. Our server was kind and helpful. We appreciated her attentiveness even though it was so busy! I got the Breakfast Poutine and a lemonade. It was DELICIOUS!! The potatoes were piping hot, the gravy was delectable, and the cheese curds melted perfectly. I also LOVED the giant green onions on top. The lemonade was ice cold, refreshing, and not too sweet. I would highly recommend coming here for a delicious brunch. Just make sure to get in line early!

Venturing into a less posh neighborhood led me to discover a hidden gem for brunch. The venue, though not in the fanciest locale, exudes a charm of its own. With seating options both downstairs and upstairs, it offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The beverage choices are diverse, catering to various preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a caffeinated kick, fresh juice, or even a brunch cocktail, the menu has you covered. Delving into the food options, the menu boasts a commendable variety. Opting for the salmon Benny, I found the salmon's flavor a tad strong for my liking, but the poached egg was a revelation, perfectly executed and bursting with richness. A standout recommendation goes to the side waffle, a delightful addition that left a lasting impression. Its taste and texture were spot-on, making it a must-try for anyone visiting. Despite its location, this brunch spot manages to carve out its niche, offering a pleasing ambiance, a diverse menu, and some noteworthy dishes. It's a testament to the idea that culinary treasures can be found in unexpected places.

The food was delicious & staff were very friendly! Be prepared to wait to get seated, but on the bright side, food arrived fairly quickly after we were seated. I thought the AM Hash super flavourful & hearty. The bread pudding with lemon curd and fresh berries was so so good. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and service. Can't believe I've never had a bun that has sesame seeds on its entire surface, but it might have changed my life forever. Oh, and the fresh squeezed grapefruit juice was amazing!

  • 4/5 Chris J. 7 months ago on Google
Pretty good spot for brunch but definitely not worth the long wait! Washroom situation is also very unfortunate! Food was pretty good but lacked a bit of flavor and we were definitely expecting more given the glowing reviews and long wait time. The homemade ketchup and hot sauce is a very nice touch, though!

  • 5/5 Nina 5 months ago on Google
Definitely worth the line up! We came on a busy day and the service was still fantastic. Seating: We were seated on the upper level, but it wasn’t “too close for comfort”, you’ll still have enough space between you and other patrons! Food: I opted for a build your own benny with avocado, bacon and medium runny eggs. 10/10! The potatoes were flavourful with a bit of a kick. The salad was fresh and the dressing tasted like it had a mix of soy, sesame and balsamic. Also, I have some food allergies, and they were able to accommodate/make substitutions. Service: Our server, Serena, was so sweet and checked on all the tables regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The wait time for the food to come was actually really reasonable given how busy it was.

Craving something amazing? This is the best place for Brunch. Very beautiful ambiance. Service was also very good. And food is just yum. I had Baja rice bowl i really liked it, I like spicy so i asked for habanero which was also very good. Their in house salad dressing are worth trying, they sell them in small jar so if you like it you can buy one. I will definitely recommend this place and will definitely visit here more often.

Enjoyed our brunch here! There was a wait time, but we ddn't mind as we got the cute corner window seat and we were excited to try their food. Their bailey's latte didn't disappoint. We also got the pudding for dessert

Just wow! Beware, there maybe a wait. But it is worth it. With the line to the corner the waiting was only 15 minutes. Dress warm, you need to stand in line because this place does not take reservations. The Braised Beef Benny was so damn good! Flavorful. Rich. Filling. Paired with a great side salads and potatoes to go with it. The AM Hash with pulled pork is to die for. All of the above elements with great spices! Just go. Don’t think twice!

consistently top notch brunch here. service is warm, quick, and attentive, but not overbearing. the kitchen and bar are fast. food is delicious with great attention to detail and presentation, high quality ingredients, and generous portions. prices are very reasonable. if you are prepared for the wait times, you will be well rewarded.

I’ve only come here for a latte so that’s all I can comment on. It was good and service was timely. One turnoff was that there’s lots of flies everywhere! I realize it’s not totally preventable in a food establishment for flies and fruit flies to be attracted but maybe setting some apple cider vinegar traps in the kitchen and those clear but sticky traps near the windows and doors can be helpful to keep the breeding ground low. Just a note to the staff. It is a bit gross when you’re trying to just drink your latte or eat your food and bugs are around your face or landing on your stuff.

  • 1/5 Angelica R. 7 months ago on Google
My fiancee brought me her for my bday brunch, I ordered the salmon Benny's, they tasted a bit off and I brush it off as maybe is the vinegar taste of the eggs, I don't know what it was but it make me sick didn't took long to throw up the same Benny's that I just eat in the same restaurant. Told the waiter, she told her manager and she just offered a honey tea on the house. I don't think I would ever return, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are better places to eat brunch in the city. But if you want to pay 20 something dollars to get food poisoning I guess this is for you.

  • 3/5 Ryan L. 7 months ago on Google
Haven’t been to Lady Marmalade since they moved from the Queen Street location. I miss that location but this place is still super cool. Got the salmon eggs Benedict and the AM hash The salmon Benny was too fishy for me. It could have used more dill to take away from the fish taste. The home fries were good. They were slightly crunch but soft at the same time. The AM hash was subpar. I don’t know the last time I didn’t finish my plate of food. The home fries taste like they were sitting under the heat lamp for a while. The bell peppers were so bitter that I ended up picking them all out. The pulled pork was dry. And my poached eggs didn’t come with my meal, they came out when I was almost done. It didn’t matter anyways because the eggs would have made this any better Maybe it was an off day? I’ll have to come back and try something else from the menu

  • 5/5 Mike B. 1 year ago on Google
Honestly the best Latte I’ve ever had! So good! My wife and I loved our breakfast, I had the Eggs Benny with the braised beef and she had the AM hash with pulled pork. Both meals were fantastic, the eggs were cooked perfectly. Service here is top notch, very friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great New Years Eve brunch, a great way to end 2022 😆

Beautiful restaurant with lots of sunlight and green with a light wood interior. Lines are first come first serve, no reservations. The pudding cake is unique and delicious. Their other brunch dishes are pretty standard and good as well

My group of 3 visited on a Saturday morning and waited in line for about 30 mins (10-10:30) before we were seated (no reservations at this location). We ordered the vegan kale ceasar salad, breakfast sandwich on sourdough, and 2 eggs Benny. Everything tasted delicious! The mimosas were also super amazing!! Would definitely recommend to others and come back again (maybe for lunch next time)!

  • 5/5 Saloni L. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best brunch place in Toronto. Had to wait for more than an hour but it was worth the wait. Tried breakfast sandwich, poached egg BLT, Huevos Migas, bread pudding and waffles. Will definitely visit again!

I read the reviews before coming to this place and it met my expectations! There's a Green P parking lot 1 minute walk away from Lady Marmalade, so it was easy for me to drive there. The only reason why I wouldn't give it a 5 star is because of the wait time. They didnt have reservations which would've been really helpful because I was on the clock for work. When you arrive, you have to sign up on the wait list. It indicated a 35-55 minute wait but my friend and I ended up waiting 15-20 minutes, so don't be discouraged by the wait time they give you. The service was great, very friendly staff. The decor and space is bright with lots of natural light and it's modern. There's two floors - the bottom floor is very tight, but the upstairs level is nice and more spacious. The food was delicious. By far the best eggs benny I've ever had in Toronto, and pretty reasonably priced. I ordered their Mocha and the Braised Beef Benny...it was perfect! I saw that many reviews recommended the bread pudding so I ordered that to go and ate it for dessert later in the day. This place is a hidden gem in East Chinatown. Highly recommend!!

Reviewing our first visit, we were instantly smitten! This brunch spot is truly captivating, exuding a radiant and invigorating ambiance. The menu offers a delightful array of brunch options and beverages, all of which impressed us. The quality of the food was exceptional. The service was both efficient and amiable, with staff members attending to our needs promptly.

The flowing Benny eggs were served on slow-cooked beef and cushioned with a stiff English muffin. It's topped with crunchy fried Onions and a mayo flavored sauce. It's very layered and the flavor is just right, not too salty. The potato cubes and salad on the side are delicious!!!

I queued up at 8am. This place filled up in 11 minutes after it opened at 8:30 on a Thursday morning. There’s ample street parking if you get here early. The service, ambiance and food are excellent. The ketchup and hot sauce are made in house. It was delicious! I ordered the crepe with ham. Yum!

Great atmosphere, food and excellent service. They do have a bit of waiting on the weekends. Unfortunately you can't wait inside so be prepared especially in winters. The portions are great and Eggs Benedict is spot on. A great brunch place.
