Purchased some donuts there for the first time because I've heard good things. Unfortunately, one of the donuts (the whipped cream filled) was still very raw on the inside as pictured below. Would highly recommend breaking your donuts in half before consuming to make sure they're cooked through.

Fabulous donuts and scrumptious cannolis. One of the best in town. Certainly a must visit place. Will definitely try their sandwiches soon. Perfect desserts, cupcakes and cakes. A great place. There’s no denial it’s a wonderful and amazing place for desserts and hot meals but their staff needs to be a bit more courteous and welcoming.

If you know, you know...one of the best and long time standing shops in Toronto. They've done their best through covid measures and the community. Spot for meat, cheese, pastries, bread, fresh sandwiches, donuts, cakes and more. Coffee is quite yummy but expect line up during peak google times. Totally worth it!

This place is just heavenly! No wonder why people actually go to this place every single day and its the store is always packed! Lots of variety to choose from from dessert to pasties to main food its all there! Highly recommended to try! You wont regret the wait!

This place has been around for what seems like forever. I used to come here 40 years ago after baseball games to enjoy a veal parmesan sandwich. Came today to try one after all this time and they are still just as good. This place is known for great food and great coffee. The servings are huge but always full of fresh everything. The store itself is organized well in each section, and has a specialty of foods or desserts or coffees to serve. If you're close to Mimico GO station its a 5 minute walk. If you're in the area you really need to come try some coffee and a sandwich at SanRemos.

The most important part of this place is the food. The bakery offers some of the best donuts I've had here. It's hard to find good donuts in Canada for some reason. Usually, the frosting is way too sweet, especially chocolate frosted, but it's not too sweet here. Their sandwiches are also really yummy. The meat is higher quality and the bread is soft and always fresh. The only place to eat is outside and it's usually very crowded.

Love, love, love this bakery/hot table/cafe!!! Been coming for years and it’s absolutely amazing. The paninis and sandwiches are huge and made with the best ingredients - heard a few folks taking about these being pricey, not at all! They are packed with meat and toppings and big portions. This time we had porchetta, mixed cold cut and pizza sandwich. All were delicious. Didn’t see any Italian panini’s like caprese today. The variety of breads & buns to purchase is outstanding. You must come early for their olive and cheese breads… they go fast. The pastries, desserts and donuts… some of the best in the GTA. Our family are Sicilian Cannoli die hards… and we didn’t love it here (it was good, not in our favs ). The staff are nice and welcoming. They have a small patio to enjoy your food/drinks (self serve style). Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Italian foods/desserts or a simple lunch.

This bakery is amazing and has so many options to eat and drink. The only thing lacking is seating, but there is a place to sit around the corner. The place is always busy, but staff are working diligently to serve everyone, while being friendly and quick. Their cafe crema is my favourite. 😋

I’ve had their pastries before but never their hot meals. So, this time I decided to try their meatball sandwich with hot peppers. Boy, I wasn’t disappointed at all! The meatballs were moist and full of flavour. The hot peppers added that extra spicy kick that complimented the meatballs and cheese. The sauce was well made. It didn’t have that “canned” taste to it, so I’m assuming it was fresh and made uniquely to the bakery. Overall, the sandwich was well made and far from the dry offerings you find from a lot of other places. The cheese rice ball was another first time try. It was absolutely delicious. The cheese was rich in texture and flavour and the crust had the perfect crunch. And, naturally, I had to indulge in one of their Oreo filled donuts. Their pastries never disappoint. So moist, like you should expect from freshly made donuts, unlike the generic stuff you find from the chain stores. To make a long story short, give this place a try if you haven’t already...you won’t be disappointed. But, be prepared to spend a few extra minutes there as they are always busy. I would recommend you order ahead of time (you can order up to a week in advance) if you are in a hurry and if you are wanting something specific. Chances are, walk ups may be out of luck with their first or second choices in some cases.

Well this Bakery was a good Bakery but did not wow me in any way it's nice how they have different counters for different departments and each have there own space, it's half a star for the atmosphere a star for fresh products and a star for service and half a star for the sweets we bought. When it comes to service it's not the greatest nor is it the most helpful I tried to get one employee's attention and she completely ignored me and just kept doing what she was doing but did not ignore her co-worker and stopped to talk regardless if it's your department or not when a customer that is there for the first time and is asking for some assistance your job is to help or get someone that can help and I did not get that, And also if you are famous for your donuts try not to be sold out of them so early, we did try some other pastrys and the were ok, their creama cold coffee like drink was good but a bit too sweet and we also tried the cold coffee brew might have been good if we had some sugar added to it cause don't get it regular it tastes no good but bitter, They are what we feel a bit over priced on everything, would I come back here not really cause it's way out of my way and not worth the drive but you can come here for other products but remember it's a bit pricy, they are clean and organized.

Sanremo bakery is the place to be, it’s a very nice place, it feels like you are in Italy in there, you can find every Italian product, fresh deli and let’s not talk about the pastries, yes the pastries in there are really really good, presentation is amazing and the taste is really original. Best days to go it’s on a Sunday morning where everything is there waiting for you to be devoured it.

My co-workers raved about this place like it was bakery heaven. So during his birthday I decided to grab him doughnuts! I grabbed the two doughnuts they had available for the day and a cheese Nutella thing. The cheese Nutella I had was a panty dropper! Needless to say I can wait to try their soup, flatbreads, and everything else they have.

It's always good. I tried a hot sandwich this time and some pastries. I do prefer the giant cold sandwich that they heat up. But it's one of the best place in south Etobicoke.

September 20th, 2023 We found this bakery/cafe through Google search a little over eight years ago and we have been enjoying everything that SanRemo has to offer ever since. We drive almost an hour to get here because it's just the perfect place and they offer everything we want and so much more. It's a very clean place. I believe they take pride in what they do. Those glasses that you can see the sweets through (I don't know what they're called) are kept so clean and spotless, it's WOW to me. Those ladies that usually serves us, wheather it's in the sweets/cakes section or the hot table and baguettes section, always have a big beautiful smile of their face. This is appreciated SO MUCH! 😊 SanRemo is an Italian family owned business since 1969. This bakery has a beautiful background story. Anything you try here is absolutely delicious! Their ingredients are the freshest and finest in the GTA. They do offer catering. Meat and Panini, several options for pasta lovers. Salads and sandwiches. Those sandwiches taste soooo good and are filled with meat. They have a daily hot table with variety of selections, like Chicken Parmesan, Sausage, Veal, Meatballs and Mashed Potatoes. They also offer a variety of different styles of pizzas that taste really good. We've actually tried some of them. They also offer a huge selection of other dishes that are available each day of the week, with an additional menu on top of their daily menu. They make custom and also traditional delicious cakes. They offer variety of selections. We have made so many beautiful and unforgettable memories here. Thank you to the Owners and the entire staff at SanRemo for your exceptional service making the most delicious.

Dropped into my old neighbourhood june 23 and had to buy a few treats for my visitors from Scotland . Love this bakery and has expanded so much since I was last there ..all the cakes, pastries and donuts are the best ! We also enjoyed our huge sandwiches 🥪 😋 I'll be back again soon for a few bday 🎂

Great overall bakery experience! Like what Loblaws tries to imitate but can't duplicate. Lots of delicious selection. Bright, clean interior. Friendly staff. Definitely worth waiting in line to get in. Get there early for better selection.

Absolutely fantastic! The service here was wonderful, everyone was friendly and helpful. All of the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We got a few different sandwiches, the meatballs and some baked goodies. The meatballs were incredible, so juicy and flavourful. The bread the sandwiches were on was so fresh and all tasted amazing, they are also huge and great value for the price can easily be shared or saved for multiple meals. The baked goods are so good, I wanted to try everything but I went for the Cartucci and would definitely recommend for anyone who likes something less sweet.

Sanremo, not just a bakery, but it's Family. It's Commuity. It feels so familiar for so many long time regulars-It's home for them! Sanremo is honestly the best bakery-It has absolutely everything and much more. First off - It's Italian-Who doesn't love Italian food and sweets and their coffee station-is art! If you love donuts (as I do) Then you got to get a dozen Assorted donuts-to really get the experience! I don't know what Ed and the team do but my Gosh....They are every bit of Heaven! My biggest suggestion is to pre-order online because those donuts are so popular they fly off the shelfs! The sandwiches are Massive and Filled with only the best of the best products! I am always so amazed and they taste just as good as they look! I love this place! So if you haven't been to Sanremo, pls do. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing sandwich! Loved the crispy onions. It was busy but moved fast. A bit chaotic knowing where to line up and where to pay.

A great start to any day. I try to stop by anytime I'm in the area. This family run institution is a must stop for anyone looking to indulge in a great coffee, gelato or looking to show down on something great from their hot table. The Bakery section never misses either. The store bakes bread and huge selection of sweets are also great.

I am not much a Doughnut person but when I tried Sanremo's doughnuts, they got me converted into one 😄 they have a wide variety of flavor options (not just doughnuts but cakes, pastries and breads too). The size of their doughnuts are really big that one can be shared by 2. So when going to family get togethers, I buy a dozen and we normally slice them in half. Mind you, if you want to get a hold of these doughnuts, either you order days before (online) or you go really early when they open... cause you wont get any if you come at 11am onwards 👍🏻

Today my two young kids and I did some shopping and had lunch at Sanremo. We purchased cold cuts, sandwiches, a personal pizza and some donuts. All were really delicious What really stood out to me today was the excellent and compassionate service of a lady in the hot table section. My young son dropped his fresh pizza and she immediately ran to help me and replace the pizza. I really appreciated her kindness. Food was great. The place was busy and every employee was working hard. Great experience!

I don’t think so I have to introduce Sanremo Bakery , but if You don’t know the place highly recommend to check it out , they have plenty of food choices, from cold cut sandwiches / pizza to my favorite picks from hot table ; Veal sandwich which will cost You 9.99$ and each topping 1.25$ , Love it and recommended with onions like You can see on the pictures or with seeet peppers:) pics show half of the sandwich . Coffee Coffee Coffee is Top Notch !!!

Great spot with an outside patio. You can shop for freshly baked bread and other baked products. I tried my favourite the Red Velvet Cake, I would rate it overall 3/5

I’ve always loved going to San Remo for their gourmet donuts and pastries. Their hot table and sandwiches are to die for but make sure to go early as their donuts sell out fast and early. Must try Lemon meringue donut and maple bacon. My only reason for giving 4 stars was that they removed all of the seating so you can no longer sit and eat comfortably. I’m super disappointed.

I came across Sanremo bakery about a year ago and I had to go check it out! Their bakery items and sandwiches are amazing! I also tried out their chai latte and mocha .. delish! But not just that, Sanremo has become a Sunday ritual + a part of every occasion in my house ! They customized a cake for my husband’s birthday and it was lip smacking!
