Waited over 20 minutes for an order that never came! Manager Chris should probably be fired. At McDonalds when there is a rush it’s all hands on deck. This guy was standing around and when I gave him my ticket and pointed out that as the manager he should be helping his team… “I’m trying to close my store” well you’re team needs you and the store/cash registers can get closed after customers get served. So much for the “team” effort at this location. If the manager was moving his feet I’d understand but he obviously runs a poor shift.

This McCafe is commonly confused on the McDonald's app as the orders and discount codes reflect this location that is in the Concourse and not the food court location. This is located at the GO Transit with the train boarding area as well. Serving only the McCafe menu, this location has really quick service and is less busy than the food court counterpart downstairs. The staff are quick, responsive and clear. There is no sitting area at this location. It does require a bit of a clean but otherwise, it'll serve for a quick order of coffee or muffin.

we ordered from the kiosk and it took about 20 minutes to receive my order i only ordered 2 items. other than that i loved where the location was it was very convienent for me when i got off the train and it was a long journey so i was happy it was right there. the ice coffee i got was amazing however they never stirred it well even tho i asked for it to be stirred well in the picture you can see the caramel syrup on the bottom as well, not a big deal just tasted very sweet and it was hard to stir it myself becausei didnt get all the sugar out but thats fine. loved this location.

I am impressed with their operation efficiency! See a dedicated staff to man the pick-up counter! I can see the owner has invested serious thought in the layout to help the staff. Customers are quick to pick up their orders! I see some special customer demands are met with great courtesy, while the staff keeps the flow. I don't give 5 stars yet, because I only visit it once in a travel trip. If I see same again in the future, i will surely give a 5.

I really hope they extend this drink to most of the McDonalds! Currently, they only have this at the Union Go Station. It's a much cheaper alternative to the Starbucks Iced Matcha Tea Latte. There's a degree in customization in that you can get either skim milk, 2% milk, or almond milk. I wish there was a way to edit the ice level though. Other than that, it's a great drink that's very seasonal in this hot weather!

Food was standard, when I asked for an extra cup for my coffee, they gave me this stained lid instead. If it was busy it's understandable, but 2 people waiting for food and no line isn't busy...

I came here looking for the iced matcha from mcdonalds and it was actually really good. I liked the service, it was quick. I wish there was more iced match mcdonalds locations across the city

Fries are good as always. 4th time including vinegar in my order and not receiving any. Mcflurry are a ripoff, $5 for a tiny cup that’s barely half full.

I ordered grilled chicken sandwich but it was not grilled properly i ask the cashier i think his name is john white man tall with goggles he says its grilled and not accept that its not even cooked

Was very happy to see this location still open late. Got out of a concert at Roy Thomson Hall around 10 and our train wasn’t until after 1030 and we were hungry and thirsty. There was also a Raptors game that just got out. All those other concessions missed out on a lot of people wanting to eat. Even though it was busy, we got our order quickly. Having the self serve kiosks really helps speed things up. We’ll be back!

Not a good experience here. Ordered a bagel egg blt with everything bagel but while I was waiting for my order, I was called over the change my order because they didn’t have everything bagels. To be honest, I’m not a fan of any other bagels so that sucked. After getting my order, I got ready to eat and I opened to a blob of mayo on one side. It was really difficult to eat and I didn’t quite enjoy a mouthful of mayo.

I was traveling through union station and decided to grab dinner before the leaf game. As I waited I saw the person who ordered prior to me get there food so I moved up only to be Disgusted on what I saw. I watch an employee making Big Macs with his bare hands grabbing from Pattie’s to cheese to lettuce then touching equipment and playing drums with his hands then touching the food again. I asked to speak to the manager and he explained store policy which I think makes no sense when the good handler touches equipment then the counter never mind cross contaminating from meat to cheese to lettuce. We are in a fragile state with different viruses out there. Gloves or change your policy because this is absolutely Disgusted and unethical let alone unhealthy.

This place is an absolute zoo that pumps out decent food. The staff are always stretched to their max yet fill orders really quickly. It’s open late so you can grab some triple cheeseburgers for the train ride home after hitting the bar. The only problem with this location is that the app keeps switching you to the McCafé upstairs and that some menu items are higher priced than other locations.

The self-order is great, BUT give the right items. I got Turkey Croissant instead of Egg Croissant. And I don’t eat meat. Dissappointed and money wasted too. They messed up the order numbers as well.

This location does not accept the McDonald's app however staff know how to bypass and allow to use an offer on the app. However on Saturday it was my second time to order a meal from the app within the year. I was in a hurry to get to a bus and was trying to grab breakfast but two employees were not aware of what was part of the offer. My friend had same issue with another employee. I do not have issues with the employees but I have a huge issue that this location does not accept the app and the offers / points it provides. This would cause less confusion between employees and patrons and avoid waisting time especially when this location is close to TTC, GO Station and Via Rail. My friend and I left without food because it took too long to figure out and we didn't want to miss our bus.

Absolutely ZERO urgency! 6 workers behind the counter, 1 order ahead of mine and I still waited 12 minutes for 1 sandwich. Spoke with the worker to confirm wait time as I was about 10 minutes out from the Lakeshore East train. She walks away and never confirms nor speaks with me again. At the end of all this ordeal, my sandwich had been on their kitchen pass through tray for at least 5 minutes without being noticed and I missed the train. Avoid if you have places to be.

I asked for egg and cheese, no ham and it came with ham and eggshells in every bite. They were busy though and it seemed stressful in the morning.

Even though it was super busy, we got our food fast. The fries were top off and the junior chicken was good but a little flat bun. The employees were nice.

Note: this is a McCafe. Menu items are limited to breakfast style foods. Please go downstairs to the food court for the full McDonald’s menu. Always a good experience here. Staff are friendly and prompt to take and complete your order. Whenever I do mobile orders, its ready by the time I get down there from the platforms upstairs. Very quick and the girl that always calls out my order in the mornings is nice.

2 kiosks to order from and a separate line up for in-person orders. No specific seating area available other than those within Union Station. Accessible and close to washrooms.

This Place is on the union station which in itself is super amazing. You can get a drink or something to eat on the go. Workers are really nice they can help you with anything. There are new people training as well so don't worry about that. Everybody needs time to learn. Definitely recommend you the place. Also no burgers and fries are available here although you can get them downstairs from McDonald's.

My mobile orders go to the McCafe on the upper floor. I usually order a large iced coffee. Ordered it twice here, same day, but I feel like the coffee doesn't have any caffeine to it. Are they making iced coffee from their decaf coffee or something? Googled it and McDonald's coffee just has less caffeine. McDonald's large iced coffees have 200 mg (and the actual product is heavily diluted with ice so it's even less than advertised). Meanwhile it's 285 mg+ of caffeine in a large iced coffee at other chains.

Considering how busy this location is, they do a great job of pumping out orders in a timely fashion. Food was decent, fries were a little skimpy on quantity but all in all a good visit

I ordered Big Mac sandwich and Ice coffe. The food is good but the sitting area wasn't clean at all. No staff to clean tables and chairs. A lot of mess in the big sitting area.

With 2 self order stations, pretty good services. Whenever I take an east or west bound go, long train, this is my coffee place.

No matter how long the line you WILL get your food under 5mins. This is the best McDonald's ive ever been to. I come here once a week, and im always surprised how quickly they prepare my food. The quality is also good, staff are friendly and the most important part? They make delicious coffee.

The worst McDonald's I have even been to. The filet of fish burger was so tiny, smaller than a happy meal, had no salad or pickles except some dead Mayo and the fish was raw. Had to bin it. The hot chocolate was like water. Nightmare. Avoid at all costs. Staff disinterested.

I only order 1 Mcmuffin and hash brown, but took them so long to give it to me. If I didn't followed up, they won't do it because someone forgot to do so!? They asked for my receipt, and started doing my order. I thought it will be fresh - but it was burnt!

The guy who served the at the front counter name Chirag has good communication skills great personality proper eye to eye 👁️ contraction. I ordered, and he gave me just in 4-5 min I am very happy 😃 god bless that guy.

I ordered big mac combo. Big mac was good but the drink ( peach mango quencher )was not so good but the lady Arpita in front counter was so sweet and her behaviour was very good. In rush time, she didn't forget to smile and serve the order.

Bagel was drenched in grease. was really gross and hard to eat as a train snack. But, love their iced matchas.

The point system wasn't working for this location and they said only for this location

I waited almost 30min for a Medium coffee & I mowed my train for that.

The guys are unfriendly with serious face expressions, they always have eye contact with each other with face gestures behind the counter and speak their own language in front of customers when they order or ask for something unfamiliar to them! Smooth pickup, the burger was good and the fries were fine. There's no dine in option, but there are seatings all around in the food court. There's a self checkout option, but I'd recommend ordering using the app to skip the line.

Awesome menu! They don't sell regular sandwiches like Big Mac or McNuggets but they have fancy drinks like Matcha or Brewed Iced Tea! Recommend the visit.

Rarely gets my order correct, if I order a breakfast egg BLT with plain bagel minus tomato, I either get an egg BLT McMuffin or the bagel with just bacon and lettuce, no egg….many times I catch the mistake before I leave Union , but if I’m in a hurry I just give it away….I know it’s fast-paced at Union Station but please try to be more accurate with the orders….My husband usually says it pays to learn, well lesson learnt, go somewhere else or grab something from home….

Ordered via the kiosk and it was served to me very quickly. The food was warm. And this was something that was exciting for me because we don’t have this where I’m from. I ordered the mini hash browns and the berry black iced tea. The tea was gross but I hate iced tea. I was hoping it was similar to a berry tea that was iced and not an iced tea (nestle almost) flavouring. Overall everything else was fresh and warm and tasty.

Dear McDonald’s, do you hire blind people for kitchen? No? Then get my customize correct, you didn’t even try. I asked to have the mayo ketchup and onion removed from my burger, waited for 10 minutes and got a default one. You gonna leave bad impression on tourists it’s union station!

I have been coming to this McDonalds for three weeks now. I always have a good experience. The staff are friendly. The wait time is awesome. I usually only end up waiting a minute or 2. The food is always fresh and hot when I get it. They made a few mistakes with my order but hey they’re human.

When a coupon fails, at this and other McDonald’s locations around downtown Toronto, the counter people don’t prompt you that it didn’t work, which means you have to tell then directly that the price is incorrect and then they tell you to reset the Mcd’s app after that. If you don’t, I imagine they’re perfectly content with ripping people off who don’t call them out on this behaviour. This is fraud and is going under our eyes as I speak.

The concourses of Union are nice. Stop making me show my phone. I know my mobile order number. Place it on the counter and let me go, especially in the peak. Even if a bum took a random order, McDonald's, especially this one, makes enough money to remake the order for the correct customer. Ps. People this the full menu food court location on lower level of York concourse NOT McCafe on upper level of York concourse

Never has ice so you get warm drinks. If you ask for ice then you are met with attitude about the other customers..... not my problem I'm first where's my ice..... also forget forks for poutine and straws on the regular. Poor upper management hasn't fixed the lack of ice in months

1 star is also too much. Slow service and its pathetic. There is no order they serve in, picking numbers randomly. I almost missed my train because of their slow service. This review may not make much difference but I want to express how sad I am. Also I never got my order.

Gave 1 star because other food products were good. We found a hair in the poutine which made us not eat whole of our meal. Negative experience!!

It felt like I was pranked. Ordered a bagel and all the mayo was center bagel hole. I Took a bite and sha-blam .. projectile mayo on the chin. 2 stars cause I laughed

It's so annoying when you ask for something simple and it's messed up.. I asked for my bagel double toasted - twice - and I think the cashier just flat out ignored me. Not to mention he was dressed like a wannabe goth vampire at work. Not cool. This will not make a bit of difference because it's Union station and always jammed but it's good to vent 😃

Jammed packed during the rush hour, it appears everyone has so much time to eat instead of boarding their trains, because GO schedules their trains with long spaces between, so lot's of people have time to go buy food here. The downstairs (food court one) McDonald's is larger than the upstairs one, and here you can get decent food and drinks. Be careful about the people around here, once I saw a man (probably on drugs) irrate and strutting around before throwing his mcdonalds garbage all over the floor, one piece of his cup landed in an innocent diners fries. Another dude from nowhere got mad and dumped their fries all over the guys jacket as he started and walked off. Other than that, the food is average, not always fresh but usually they get your orders right.

Waited for nearly 20 mins for one fries and 2 vanilla ice coffees. All the orders listed after our was done and we were still waiting. They even started their closing. We even asked if we can get our order 2 times because our train was about leave so we left without receiving the order.

This is a really busy location. There are usually not enough staff on duty to handle the crowds, but the staff who are present always do a great job with the limited resources that they have. The orders are generally prepared accurately and the taste matches what I would expect at any McDonald's location.

They don’t open at 6:00 AM on Sunday and there is no elevator to the food court only escalator. Mcafe up one level only opens at 7:00 as well.
