I loved this place!!! Best place in Ontario for little kids to visit!!!! 10/10 hands down. Rides specific to young kids! My 1yr old grand daughter even loved all of the rides I took her on. To have an amusement park, splash pad and a little farm yard all together in one beautiful location is the best of all worlds plus the ferry ride over!?!? The kids and adults loved every moment!!! Wish I'd known about this place in the 90s and 2000's when my kids were young!! 10 AND UNDER PERFECT!!! Remember a towel or its $40+ for a circle towel of a hamburg lol Took us all day to go on all rides. Definitely will go again and again!! Worth every penny and more. Love love love!!!!!

Centreville amusement park is very family friendly and kids love all of the rides in this amusement park. The entry to the park is absolutely free. There are lot of ticket options available for buying the ride tickets. If the family wants to enjoy all the rides for the day, then I will recommend to go buy the family pass instead of individual ride tickets. Individual ride ticket price are so costly here.

It is a fun place to be, slightly on the costlier side though as full day ticket for rides is around 40-45 CAD per person. Rides are good and mostly entertain kids, though no one stops grown ups from having some fun. Some rides have height restrictions. The entry to the park is free of cost, and with that you go to the animal farm which lies within the limits of amusement park. Remember, it is not a zoo, so just donโ€™t be surprised if you find the variety and species of animals to be basics. Yet, the farm is fun to go for of its own with your little young ones. There are lot of option for food in the amusement park - ranging from classic pizza to Canadian favourite beaver tails. There are various stalls, and shops catering for food needs of the visitors and are okish. The amusement park, also features a water fountain play area. It is a great way to beat the heat in summers. Overall, it is a must visit once every summer, if you got toddlers or are just starting with amusement park rides as they are basics, and good to start with if you have phobia of rides. You can start building the courage, from the rides in this park.

Had lost of fun with the kids spending the day there. We were there on a weekday and it was crowded. Early morning when the park opened, there were no wait lineups, but noon onwards, it was an hour wait for some rides. Highly recommend for kids between 5 and 10 years old.

Visited this place with my family last Saturday. You have to buy a ticket to ride the rides, and if you don't get on the rides, you can go around freely. The rides are good for small children to ride. 5 years old - around the lower elementary grades. My soon-to-be middle-aged son bought an all-day ticket, but only rode three. It was a pity that there were no rides like Wonderland. But I was able to rest quietly and it was nice to have a picnic.

This is an absolutely amazing place to visit in exchange for Niagara. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ All the rides are almost thesame with Niagara's Fun Pass. This place has all the things kids love to play. The tickets are affordable, too. I would suggest getting the individual tickets if you plan on just trying the rides just for the sake of it or if you plan to visit other places by the island. But if you plan to stay on the amusement park for the whole day, it's better to get the all day ride pass.

Make sure you go early in the morning as by noon there are lots of people coming over on the ferry. Buy the wrist bands as this allows you on the rides. Tickets can get expensive. Good number of rides for little kids. Picnic areas available and lots of washrooms. Rent bikes, go through the maze or just walk and enjoy the sites

Bite-size version of Canada's Wonderland for families and kids with fair prices. There's a legend at every ticket station that lets you know who can ride. Pregnant women can only ride the Antique Carousel and Antique Car Ride. Not a whole lot of food options, but you're a stone's throw from the beach where there are more. Beaver tails were not open there nor at Centreville. Maps seem to only be available at the redemption building.

I had a great time with my 12 year old son. The park is absolutely kid friendly. All the rides were in great working order, the park was clean, and there were trees and green-space everywhere! There are benches at every ride for parents and grandparents to take a break. This is a perfect place for parents of young children to take them where everything is geared to small kids. The Ferry ride was also a highlight of the day.

Took my 3 and 6 year old. Got there before it opened which actually turned out perfect. They got on the little roller-coaster 1st and went round 3 times as no one else was in the queue. Going for opening allowed us to go on everything the kids wanted to go on with pretty much no queue. Best if your kid is under 4.5 feet high but over 3 feet. Quite a big choice of food outlets for the size of the place. Day passes are worth the money. Also a little farm.

I visited Center Island on a Sunday of the long weekend and took the ferry to get there. The ferry ride was reasonable both in terms of cost and convenience, and I'd recommend purchasing tickets online for a smoother experience. However, the return trip had an unreasonable wait, especially with kids in tow, though I suppose that's in line with the price. Water taxis were an alternative option, but at $13.50 per passenger each way, they weren't the most cost-effective choice. The rides on the island weren't exceptional, and the prices for kids were a bit steep, but they did seem to enjoy them. The food quality was rather low, but I hadn't expected much in that department. On the plus side, beer prices were reasonable. Despite the drawbacks, I'd still recommend a visit, especially if you've never been, as it provides a unique experience.

It's an excellent place for a family day! For kids over 4โ€, I would suggest buying a day pass. Some cute antique rides and a Great new splash park. Coffee, treats, ice cream and so on...

Perfect for younger children: the rides are not scary and a ton of fun. The day pass is well worth it. If you do buy tickets you should be aware that every ride costs X tickets - not one ticket per ride. The miniputting course is the only exception: donโ€™t do it. Itโ€™s not well maintained. The bumper cars can get a bit rough so itโ€™s best to keep the very young ones away even if they meet the height limit. The atmosphere and is great and youโ€™ll see geese and other wildlife at the island plus the ferry can be a good experience as well if you donโ€™t go all the time, itโ€™s a special thing for kids.

The place is great for kids! If you donโ€™t want to purchase day passes, you can purchase single/ individual ride tickets at the ticket booth. My husband and I tried Sky Ride and we enjoyed it very much. Backpacks and other personal belongings can be stored in the Locker for $2.00(coin). The island is hot in the afternoon so I suggest bringing sunblock if youโ€™re spending the whole day in the island.

Itโ€™s one of the smallest amusement park that I have ever seen, but doesnโ€™t matter, the little kids enjoyed it just as much. Itโ€™s a short ferry ride from Toronto to Center Island. The size actually fits perfectly for young children. The walking and running will tire them out, and the small short rides provide just enough entertainment and exercise for them.

What a great little trip! The rides are perfect for children ages 3 to 12. We caught the first ferry and made it in time for the opening of the amusement park. There were little to no lines. As the day goes on, and more people arrive on the island the lines become quite long. Go early!! We were there 6 hours and the kids could have stayed longer. Way more laid back atmosphere than Canada's Wonderland and lots of seating areas. Beautiful area. I cannot wait to go back and explore more of the island.

Toronto Island Park was great to go to. Very clean and lovely park grounds. With many paths and flower gardens. Including going out to the pier towards Lake Ontario. Centre Island where Centreville Amusement Park was good fun for younger kids. Many different attractions with some being closed currently. The Scrambler Ride, Bumper Boats, and Train Station were closed. However, this did not affect our day. Still lots to do and plenty of fun to be had.

Great place for small and medium kids. My 8 and 11 year olds loved it and made me promise that we would come back if we ever go back to Toronto. The price was decent, the staff were great, the lines were reasonable, and I LOVED that there weren't any predatory carnival games.

The place is perfect for kids! My 4 year old rode several times on the carousel, bumblebee ride and the swan ride she also really liked the splash pad! My 11 year old loves the bumper cars and boats and the sky ride. And my 14 year olds favorites are the ferris wheel and mine coaster. The farm has horses, alpaca's, a peacock, goats, a pig and more! 2 tips are to take your own food as over there food is overpriced and bad and to catch the earliest ferry so you get there early and don't have to wait in long lines!

Haven't been in years...absolutely beautiful. Grass is green, plants are beautiful, rides are great, farm was exceptional as remembered. Too bad the lake wasn't swimmable. Splash pad had a little too much algae..very slippery. Advise water shoes. Otherwise a wonderful day was had by all.

Arrive early during the week, and get the unlimited pass. Had no lines and hit so many rides we got our worth for sure. 3.5 feet allows your child to ride every ride with an adult. Signs everywhere saying pregnant women not allowed on anything (including the sky ride!) Tickets cheaper online (which we bought on our phone right at the entrance )

This amusement park is the perfect place to enjoy your centre island trip. It includes rides like the sky line (which is a ski lift viewing ride that takes you over the river and the entire park at a leisurely pace), and sky view ferris wheel (which is an antique Ferris wheel that moves quite fast and backwards). The rides are safe and the staff are great. I really enjoyed my time here and the experiences I had. There are beautiful views from the lake as well.

Overall, the variety of kid-friendly rides and attractions at Toronto Island, including Dash Cars, Dash Boats, cable cars, the petting zoo, Ferris Wheel, water slide ride, and mini roller coaster, ensured that children had a great time and were entertained throughout their visit. While Toronto Island itself is a wonderful place to spend time, the long wait times for the ferry during the Victoria Day long weekend made the commute tiring and frustrating. We ended up in spending 5 hours of waiting time in total for the ferry. Increasing the ferry frequency during peak times and considering the addition of faster boats would be beneficial to alleviate these issues and enhance the overall experience for visitors.

Loved the experience. Full day package for the kids. Lots of rides for kids to keep them engaged and end the day with farm animals. And may be then also head over to beach. With 31$+taxes its little expensive though. Few things that I may want to call out, time it took to enter in the park. Even though we bought online tickets then you have to line up to enter the park and then again line up to get rhe wrist bands. One line ups could have done it. Also most of the rides were short staffed like antique carousel had only one staff so it takes almost 15 minutes per ride and hence long wait times.

great day trip with the family. pre pay for the ferry. and pre pay for the ride all day pass.. bring lots of water there's only one refill station. food is expensive and don't expect them to have Chilli or gravy or marinara . it seems they don't stock the food vendors very well . but over all a fun day bring some comfortable shoes for lots of walking

Toronto island is beautiful but with centerville amusement park open this year, itโ€™s the full package. Go and enjoy the vibes. And if itโ€™s too hot donโ€™t hesitate to let your kids go to the splash pads. Itโ€™s very entertaining. Donโ€™t forget to ride the log. Itโ€™s a mini roller coaster.

Place was awesome. So much greenery and freedom to walk and browse. I loved how everything was catered to the environment instead of knocking down nature for human enjoyment. The rides were perfect for our 4yo and pricing was within reason. Would recommend avoiding ferry or leaving early-ish to avoid the wait times

LIFE HACK: if you want free rides, go to the line up area for the ferry. In that area, there will be tons of all access bracelets on the ground. Just grab one of those, and boom! Free rides for life baby! All jokes aside, this is a very fun experience for young children but I wouldnโ€™t recommend it for kids over 11 years old. The ferry lines are long, and overall, the rides arenโ€™t that good(except for the scrambler)

  • 4/5 matilda 9 months ago on Google
such an amazing experience!! i suggest to go early in the day as the lines are not long. it opens at 10:30, so coming right at 10:30 is perfect timing wise. not to crowded on the weekends, and a great way to spend days in summer!! tickets are overpriced, i suggest getting wrist bands if you are planning to spend they entire day there!! another thing i suggest, is taking the wards island ferry and than walking 30 minutes to the amusement park as the wards ferry is not crowded at all!! enjoy your trip!!

Centerville has always been an annual outing in our family. The ferry is a good experience to start. It was very disappointing that the park train is out of commission due to previous flood damage to the tracks. It is still a nice family excursion with rides aimed mostly at smaller kids (though there are still rides of the size you'd find at a local fair to suit all ages also). The haunted barrels needs a little tweaking (timing for lights going out for best effect).. but it's still fun. I would love to see the park give a little attention to the old mini golf as it is out of sorts. Overall, it is a very nice place for a family day trip. The grounds are beautiful. This has been a family tradition since I was a child and I'm sure my kids will carry out forward also.

Great place for little kids, lines were a bit long but that's to be expected due to the pandemic, rides we're being sanatised and ride capacity is reduced, however there didn't seem to be much social distancing when walking around the park, the ferry is free coming back

  • 4/5 J M. 8 months ago on Google
Fun park for younger families with lots of rides for kids. Very little wait time for rides. Individual tickets for rides are expensive (about $6 per ride) however the family pass (~$160 for family of 4) makes it a bit more affordable. Lots of beauty on the island to without feeling you've left the park. Food options are limited and very pricy so bring your own.

  • 4/5 Jiji 4. 9 months ago on Google
They have great rides for kids. But the Skywalker you can't go on it if you have two kids. Only two people at a time and so where would you leave one kid? Also the log ride, you have to jump in really fast or the kids ride on their own without you(which happened to me lol). The prices are not bad if you want to go once or twice for the summer. This is a beautiful area. Food wise, not much options so probably good to bring food and lots of drinks. On the website it says getting their is half the fun which is by ferry boat. It should be if it wasn't for overly crowded boat. If you don't have kids with you, it is easy to maneuver but with kids it is a bit hard with this much crowd on the boat.

  • 5/5 Armin M. 9 months ago on Google
Great for families!! It only costs $10 to get on the ferry. (as of July 2023) BRING WATER and small blanket for the beach. Lots to do at the park. The food around the island is OK, you have to choose between Pizza Pizza and Subway. Plenty of restrooms. Overall highly recommend this place

  • 4/5 S S H. 9 months ago on Google
Great place for young kids to have fun. Bathrooms and change rooms are typically not well maintained over the weekends.. and neither is the limited staff able to catch up with keeping the garbage bins clean. Wait times for the ferry are typically 20+ mins.

The staff at the rides were very friendly, professional and caring, took their time at the rides and helped out as needed, the rides are appropriate for younger children! It was fun, the petting zoo was also a nice touch! The only thing is that the small train ride has been out of service for 2 years now, but overall it was good

  • 4/5 Greg S. 11 months ago on Google
Definitely more geared towards younger children, maybe under 15. But the day pass is good value, my kids enjoyed it a lot. The Scrambler is a hidden gem, the building looks plain and isn't inviting, but it was very popular with the kids that found it. You could see them running out of the exit and around to the entrance again over and over. Of course, even without visiting the rides Toronto Island is worth a visit. Amazing view of the city and lots of nice paths to take for a walk or bike ride. Amazing that such a serene place is so close to the Toronto downtown.

We went on a promotion deal for fathers day. The price is high, we thoroughly enjoyed the park. This park is more suitable for age 12 and under. My 8 year old enjoys riding many of these alone. It helps when we don't want to go on the spinny ones with them. The Scrambler is terrifying! I personally like the Haunted house, it's a hidden gem. Taking the water taxi (instead of the ferry) is quite an experience itself. It saves lots of time and avoids the crowds.

  • 5/5 Helen Y. 2 years ago on Google
Overall it was a wonderful experience. From the ferry โ›ด to the rides and amusement. It's a beautiful place for kids, teenagers and adults. There is a ice cream shop by the Haunted house, you should try their flavors, price is okay compared to foods sold at the food outlets.

It has a few rides, not comparable to some major amusement parks or like Canada's Wonderland. But still a good small scale amusement park. Nice for young kids.

  • 5/5 Donna M. 8 months ago on Google โ€ข 2 reviews
A rainy start on a weekday made all the difference! No lineups (except the Ferris wheel) made for a fun day for a 2 1/2 year old. The only downside was a statement we read that said as long as thereโ€™s an adult, a child can ride and thatโ€™s not true. There are height restrictions so wait until they are at least 3 feet tall if you want to ride them all. We brought snacks but also bought lunch at the burger place and it was very reasonable. Cheaper than that Golden Arches place and much tastier. Splash pad was a great way to cool off later in the day. The farm animals and ducks were a hit. We were sad the train wasnโ€™t running but all in all a successful day. One suggestion: have a separate line for prepaid customers.
