Great place to enjoy a nice day outside. Taking a walk, riding a bike, having a BBQ or playing some volleyball you can do it all here. Very clean and well kept. Great place for family picnics as public BBQ’s and restrooms are plentiful and you get some awesome views of the lake and city.

This is a superb park! It is beautiful all year around, but summertime, obviously, is the best. You can come for a picnic, bbq, biking, walking, swimming on the sandy beach or playing volleyball/soccer. It has rental place with paddle boards, canoe and jet ski! The park has washrooms, picnic tables with a lot of shade, bbq spots). There are also a couple of cafe for take out, including but not limiting, Tim Hortons and Booster Juice. Great place for everyone!

This park is located near to Woodbine beach. They have parking and next to Ontario lake. This park has awesome greenery and many trees. Also they have sitting arrangement (benches located at some interval ) . You can enjoy view of Ontario Lake by sitting over here in this park. This park also has some basic exercise places where people can do pull ups. People used this park also as jogging and running purpose as well.

Love this beach. Wish it didn’t turn so ghetto on long weekends. Plenty of beach space, limited parking. Need more activities for rental such as paddle boats, seadoos etc that would be controlled and monitored vs guys on the beach renting out their equipment.

Such a vast place with open areas for big families and groups to have a picnic and also the option to take a dip in the pristine waters of ontario lake, courtesy the every bustling woodbine beach.

Ashbridge's Bay is a bay and park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located along Lake Shore Boulevard next to Woodbine Beach in the Beaches. The Martin Goodman Trail and boardwalk run through the park along the bay. The boardwalk runs 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Ashbridge's Bay in the west to the R. C. Harris Water Treatment Plant in the east along Lake Ontario. It was once part of the marsh that lay east of Toronto Islands and Toronto Harbour. The bay is named for Sarah Ashbridge, a British loyalist from Philadelphia whose family once lived nearby on a farm. It was once a five square kilometre marsh on the Don River delta and one of the largest wetlands in Eastern Canada. A breakwall formed on the western end with an outlet into Toronto Bay. Before the 1900, the bay was used to obtain ice during the winter months and stopped after the bay became polluted to the point the water became unsafe: Samuel Hill's Ice House at Leslie Street and Eastern Avenue Graham's Ice House at Lake (now Knox) and Eastern Avenue Martin McKee's Ice House at foot of Carlaw Avenue at (now infill area near Lake Shore Boulevard) Due to industrial development and sewage disposal into the marsh, in 1910 a Toronto Board of Trade proposal for Ashbridge's Bay was for an industrial district for industrial offices and sites served by railway lines, public warehouses alongside docking facilities south of Keating Channel to the Eastern Gap and a parkland/recreational strip at the south end.

Beautiful beach, boardwalk, clean bathroom, and it wasn't busy at all as we went on a weekday in the morning. Perfect day for a walk.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ashbridge's Bay in Toronto, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The picturesque beauty of this waterfront gem left me in awe. The sandy beaches, shimmering blue waters, and lush greenery created a serene ambiance that instantly transported me away from the bustling city. One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing the breathtaking sunset over Lake Ontario. The vibrant hues of orange and pink reflecting on the water created a mesmerizing spectacle. It was truly a moment of tranquility and beauty that will forever be etched in my memory.

Lovely long, wide wooden boardwalk for strolling down along a beautiful wide sandy beach. Lots of Volleyball nets available for use. I have no idea how the system works on them, if they need to be reserved or rented etc.. However there were plenty. Beautiful lake view to paddle board, kite surf or launch your See-do. Build great castles of sand and/or relax in the many Adirondack chairs. A public washroom is available at the Olympic's pool by the beach. There is also a wide 2-way bike path. Lots of beautiful trees changing colors for fall. Plenty of benches, garbage and recycling bins. The area is well maintained. I highly recommend visiting

My friend and I go there often for our walks. Always lots to see, beautiful Lake Ontario, families on the beach, people playing volleyball, locals with dogs etc. Excellent for biking, running or nice easy stroll on boardwalk

Love this park and waterfront for walks. Walk the boardwalk, beach, park and residential area for a great hike on all terrains with gorgeous scenery and end up back at the beginning in the parking lot. Ample parking but come early to get a spot as this park is popular. Highly recommend

Awesome place by the woodbine beach, took lots of pictures there. Wasn’t much people there on a weekday.

The actual docking parts of the launch are literally falling apart. Huge construction barricades block half of the useable space. Location is great though and when working, it is a good launch. Parking is absolutely horrible when it’s busy. Despite dedicated trailer parking, cars are taking up more than half the trailer parking. Ticket guy comes and tickets everybody, including vehicles with trailers just trying to stay out of the way. In two hours, the city must have issued over $25,000 in tickets. $100 each plus possible tow. This seems a scam by the city. Please put up clear signage to keep the trailer parking obvious and clear. Ticket and tow the wrongdoers, not the ones forced to park all over to be able to go out. Only unhooking the trailer and finding two spots works. When it’s busy, avoid trying to park in this place at all costs. The class of people has dropped significantly and there are often fights and brawls over parking.

Pretty sweet boat launch as far as boat launches go. Straight into the lake. Seriously, the whole area is a Toronto gem with access to the Beaches, lakeshore trail and bike lanes, and plenty of recreational facilities both on and off season

Great boardwalk trail, long enough to keep you outside for a day. There is a fenced dog park right on the beach for your pets to enjoy. The rest of the beach is wide and spreads along the boardwalk. There is enough space for thousands of people to keep distance. Every season brings different experience to this place. There is also bike lane going parallel to the boardwalk. I recommended it to every outdoors enthusiast.

Ashbridges Bay is a prodigious area on the banks of Woodbine beach. The beach is one of the busiest and most popular beaches of the Greater Toronto Area. It, also, has the longest and broad boardwalk. There is a paved walking trail that runs parallel to the wooden track. A roadside cafeteria is an added attraction to the beach visitors. My wife and I savored an icecream and a cup of tea in the open sitting area watching various activities at the beach. All in all we enjoyed the Ashbridges Bay at Woodbine.
