One of the most beautiful skylines in Toronto. We love shooting engagement photos here in the fall. It always makes for spectacular photos that couples love. Great for sunrise shoots if you are up to getting up early 😛. The bridge is stunning as well the view of the city. Would recommend for any couple or photographer looking for a nice photo spot.

The Arch Bridge is nothing short of architecturally exquisite. It offers sprawling views of the Humber River, Lake Ontario and the Toronto Waterfront. It is a part of The Martin Goodman Trail, so there is no vehicular traffic. The trail is accessible, and there are many interpretive signs between the bridge and the parking lot 200 meters away.

This is a nice spot to view the city at anytime of day or night. Sunrises are nice here. Usually a bunch of birds to look at and some nice Muskoka chairs or rocks to sit on and relax or read a book. Don't recall any toilets immediately near by but there are some just east of here by the green P.

The Humber Arch Bridge in Toronto is a marvel of engineering, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetics. Spanning the Humber River, its elegant arch design provides a picturesque backdrop for pedestrians and cyclists. Sheldon Lookout, located nearby, offers breathtaking views of the cityscape and the bridge.

I did an engagement session here some time ago. The bridge itself is very beautiful with views of the sunrise over the Toronto skyline. I would suggest doing a photoshoot here during the morning when it's significantly less crowded. There are also some very nice areas nearby that tend to have fewer people it you're looking for privacy. Overall, I loved photographing here! I will definitely be recommending this spot to my clients in the future. ig lovingcorephoto.

An arch bridge is a bridge with abutments at each end shaped as a curved arch. Arch bridges work by transferring the weight of the bridge and its loads partially into a horizontal thrust restrained by the abutments at either side. A viaduct (a long bridge) may be made from a series of arches, although other more economical structures are typically used today.

Spectacular views of the city anytime of the day. Peaceful to walk around the park and on the bridge. It can get fairly windy on a cooler day.

Beautiful bridge. Green P parking around the area. 3.65 an hour I found so far. Beautiful to hang and walk around. There’s rocks and ledges to stand around. Some chairs.

Recommended beautiful attractions by the lake in Toronto. There is a history of early Indians and immigrants doing fur business here, as well as the famous Sunny Side Beach. Before the railway development at the beginning of the last century, this was a famous park that attracted a large number of Canadians from the surrounding area to come for leisure every holiday.

Beautiful place to spend time. Very scenic views of the city and lake. The cool breeze on the bridge adds a relaxing feeling. Board walk along the lake is really nice, better to bicycle it cos there’s so much to discover. Lot of beaches around as well.

Thousands of reviews, yes, it’s more than what words describe and photos project. Connecting land apart , it’s more connecting hearts of people. Each one has its own descript of this place. Mine I have spelt above. So in brief a must visit place at Ontario. Though sun shone bright above, bone chilling winds and freezing temperatures didn’t dampen our spirits. As locals walked, sprinted, cycled, soaked in warm climate, we too, had our own share of natural bliss. Swans and backdrops added to the charm. Enjoy.

Mesmerizing views of the Toronto Skyline from the bay area. Best vantage point to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Several water activities like kayaking, canoeing, and water cycling are carried out at the bay. The bride is only used by pedestrians and cyclists.

This is one of the nicest spots in the city to come hangout and enjoy the views. The best time to be here is early morning. It's not very busy and the sunrise is just beautiful over the skyline. I would avoid this area during rush hour though, there are wayyy too many people packed on the bridge.

I used to see the bridge from Gardiner and always looked beautiful. Eventually walked on it for the first time. Nice view of the lake. The trail that leads to the bridge provides a very pleasant walking experience. Parking lot is only 4-5 minute walk from the bridge.

Probably the most obvious or even iconic bridge over the Humber River from the Gardiner Expressway or Lakeshore. The white arch span with white vertical supports is almost a pretty design. The path for both bicycles and walkers is NOT separated so be careful. Views of the Toronto downtown skyline are visible in the distance.

Its architectural elegance complements the natural beauty of the lake, creating a stunning backdrop that never fails to captivate. Whether it's dawn, dusk, or the sparkling lights at night, each moment offers a unique and mesmerizing scene. Living with such an iconic view adds a touch of magic to everyday life. Truly, the bridge next to Toronto Lake is a masterpiece that enhances the overall charm of this exceptional location."

I have seen this bridge / park area, almost every time I have come into Toronto but never visited it. I made a point to come on Sunday morning. It was very easy to get too, lots of parking spots, and I paid $9 to park all day. It was busy, but still lots of space. I walked the path, it's all well organized and I took pictures on the bridges. There is a lot of seating to sit and watch the lake and see the city-scape from afar. It was all quite beautiful and I'm glad I came here! I would recommend to anyone wanting to get out on the bike, or even just for a walk. There are two separate paths, one for people on bikes, and one for people walking which helps the flow and pace for everyone. Loved it.

Interesting bridge. Very busy with a few views. Facing south, waterfront view, beautiful. Facing east, you'll see downtown Toronto with the waterfront in front of it. Facing north, you'll see another bridge, water flowing south, bike path on both sides along the water. Further north, concrete jungle toronto. Facing west, you'll see waterfront and buildings on top of dirt dragged out by builders. Far west, you'll see the new developments where the sand and dirt stand far out so builders can do whatever they want.

The arch bridge is a beautiful spot. Though always packed with people and cycling groups. It's a good architectural landmark between the several beaches along the waterfront trail and the Humber bay park area.

Awesome place to hangout any time of the day. Beautiful view of the shore, lake and spectacular view of downtown Toronto with CN tower. As any other part of Toronto this place is also crowded now. The parking is issue on weekends with beautiful weather. You can ride, run or enjoy a long walk and enjoy the view and nature.

An understated landmark for the city of Toronto. It’s the first place along the QEW where you can not only see the city skyline but also have a true representation of the water conditions! If you’re on the water, it’s a great spot to people watch as they watch you in the water! It’s also the mouth of the humber river which leads you up to a hidden marina!

Toronto Centre - Jameson Avenue to Toronto Centre West - Long Branch This is hands down the best trail and to think we used to live in Toronto years ago and never even noticed the beauty of this waterfront until now. It was still hot and humid during this 8 km stretch from Jameson to Long Branch but the waterfront was a hive of activity on this Canada Day long weekend - people swimming on the Western Beaches, cyclists on the trail and kids enjoying the waterparks along the trail. The highlight was the Humber Bay Arch Bridge which was visible along the Western Beaches, Sheldon Point which was so breezy and cool. This waterfront is a well-planned community of condominiums (Ajax along the waterfront is a well-planned community of single detached homes) each area with its unique charm.

Perfect place for relaxation. Beautiful view of Toronto Skyline. Place where Humber River meets the Ontario lake. Start point of the Humber trail which itself is very beautiful. Must visit when someone visits toronto.

Cool looking bridge with a nice view of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline. Good spot to take pictures. In my opinion, it's not worth a trip on its own. We were visiting high park and decided to check it out since it was close. Also, It wasn't crowded considering it was Sunday and Spring time.

Super beautiful, crowded but not enough that you can’t get a place on the side of the bridge for some pictures. Not the greatest view of the Toronto skyline you’ll ever get but not bad either.

  • 5/5 Kemi C. 8 months ago on Google
Come here for the views! The Toronto skyline with the CN tower in the background is visible from here. The bridge itself is a very short pedestrian bridge so don't expect to do a long walk on the bridge itself. It crosses the Humber river and is flanked by beach front condos. Quite relaxing to walk around and enjoy the cool evening breeze.

Review of Humber Bay Arch Bridge, Toronto: Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) The Humber Bay Arch Bridge is an architectural masterpiece that stands as a symbol of beauty and functionality in Toronto, Canada. As an avid traveler and bridge enthusiast, I was captivated by its allure during my recent visit to the city. The experience was nothing short of exceptional, and here's why the Humber Bay Arch Bridge deserves all the praise it receives. First and foremost, the design of the Humber Bay Arch Bridge is a sight to behold. Spanning across Lake Shore Boulevard, the sleek, white arches gracefully soar over the Humber Bay, creating a striking contrast against the blue skies and shimmering waters below. The bridge's modern aesthetics blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings, making it a photographer's dream and an architectural marvel for all to appreciate. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the bridge serves as an essential transportation link for pedestrians and cyclists, providing a safe and convenient passage between the Humber Bay Parklands and the Toronto waterfront. I particularly enjoyed strolling along the pedestrian pathway, which offers breathtaking views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline. Whether you're a local looking for a scenic walk or a tourist seeking the best photo spot, the Humber Bay Arch Bridge offers an unforgettable experience. As for the ambiance, the bridge's atmosphere is undeniably serene and tranquil. During my visit, I noticed many locals taking leisurely strolls or enjoying a relaxing bike ride, while others found solace in sitting on the benches, taking in the panoramic views. The bridge's strategic location away from the bustling city center adds to the peacefulness, allowing visitors to escape the urban noise and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. Moreover, the Humber Bay Arch Bridge is thoughtfully designed to be accessible to all. Its wide pathways and wheelchair-friendly features make it inclusive, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this architectural gem without any limitations. Overall, my experience at the Humber Bay Arch Bridge was extraordinary. Its blend of artistry, functionality, and scenic beauty makes it a must-visit attraction for both locals and tourists alike. Whether you're a fan of architecture, a nature enthusiast, or simply looking for a serene escape in the heart of Toronto, this bridge has it all. I highly recommend a visit to the Humber Bay Arch Bridge to witness the perfect harmony of design and nature, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.
