I'll advise anyone conscious of their health to AVOID this hotel. This property is daily cleaned but needs a total overhauling. The pictures speak for themselves. Dirty, old, burnt hairdryer, stalled water in the washroom sink, broken chair roller, dirty air conditioner with bugs...even the printer at the reception was faulty! The food served didn't look fresh. The bread smelt badly. (I was there for 2 nights so I confirmed this during 2 breakfasts). If a property is fetching you daily revenue, be kind enough to your customers to invest in it and make the space healthy. Shut it down and so the needful. Great location as it is close to the airport but not healthy. Needs a revamp ASAP!!!

Attended a wedding. Service is not good. Tables were not arranged till close to the doors open, snacks table was not set up until the guests arrived. No presentation of the food, it was brought in somtimes uncovered through the mingling guests. Food trays were not property cleaned. The finger foods served are sparse and a joke. Banquet was a repeat of the snacks. No presentation. Staff and facilities were OK.

Be careful with your credit card with this place, they are a fraud! Yes, you heard it right, they may charge your credit card with no reason. Their management is so shady and rude with no power on some rude staff. Their unqualified so-called manager was hiding behind the staff and so unresponsive. We stayed at this low quality place originally booked by Expedia. They charged a room deposit fee on my credit card with no reason. I called the property at least 4 times with no proper response. I got my money refunded through my bank as they were not able to provide an evidence why they charged my credit card! Stay away from this low quality and shady place if you respect yourself. Never recommend this place..

I liked the room but not impressed with the service. Arrived yesterday afternoon and i gave gentle 100 doll hold on my card for the nite. The gentleman said it would be removed next day. The next day woman at counter says i have to wait 2 to 3 days. I live far and needed those funds today. The womans name us SEMRAM KAUR. Not very nice

I do not recommend staying here. The suites look nice in the outside but they are dirty and they spent too much on decor without function. The beds were lumpy and old. Parts of the headboard was falling off. The bathroom had no fan and the lighting in the bathroom was for a bedroom or livingroom not a vanity. The decor around the bathroom mirror was half covering up a vent. We tried the breakfast in the morning as well and when I asked for water I was disregarded by the staff. She was quite rude. There was also a wedding going on while we were staying which was quite loud and affected the peace in the room.

Had a 10 hour overnight layover and decided to stay at this hotel. Despite being only a few minutes from the airport, my taxi driver had never heard of it. Unfortunately, this was the first of many red flags. Upon check-in, they requested a deposit be paid to the room, claiming it will be refunded in a few days as long as the room isn't trashed. It's been 20 days and I still haven't seen this money. I've called multiple times to try to address this and no one has picked up. I'm still holding out on them to reply via email. The room itself was fine and seemed clean enough, albeit hard to find and right next to a door leading to the outside. My door also didn't seem to lock properly. My one and only neighbour had people coming and going until about 2:30 am and every time their door opened the walls were so thin it sounded like it could have been my door opening. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. Upon check out I asked the front desk to call a taxi for me to get back to the airport, and was informed after a brief phone call that their driver was not available, and that my only option would be to order an Uber instead as they refused to call any other taxi company. (Actually great advice, saved like $20) So all in all, I tried to save a bit of money by staying at a cheaper hotel and wound up paying for my room twice. Got a better night's rest on the floor of Toronto Pearson on my return trip.

Just came back from staying the night as they refused to refund us. The second we walked into the room, it was very musty and warm. We wondered why and their AC was broken, the fan in the washroom wasn’t working. We checked in for 20 minutes and didn’t notice the mould until after the shower. We brought it to their concern and the staff was so rude, I think her name was Ashpreet or something. Didn’t listen to a single complaint and rolled her eyes. Didn’t even customer service us. Stay away from this hotel. What a joke. Literally the definition of catfish as they try to make the exterior so pretty but can’t put the effort into the interior. Do not be fooled.

Do NOT stay here. Much like the other reviews say, all is true. We booked originally two years ago as a place to stay for a convention, pandemic happened and borders were closed. We tried to get a refund, and were refused. We go to Canada pretty often so we figured we can keep it for a future trip. Cue two years later and it was an absolute nightmare. The room stank of cigarettes (neither of us smoke and I'm allergic to most of the stuff in it) the beds are lumpy and broken, the pillows aren't anything I would give to the barn cats and they live outside. We stayed Friday night because we had a convention the next day, and when we came back from a day of shopping on Saturday, there was absolutely no parking, as there was some kind of event going on. We had enough by that point and figured the 3 hour drive would be better than staying again. We still have money left on our voucher but I would rather buy a tent and air mattress from Walmart and sleep in the middle of the highway than go back.

A hotel that is about 5 minutes from the airport and has no shuttle is already a bad start. The rooms are nothing like what they show on the website. They are very, very small. Not comfortable for two people. Electricity on one side of the room did not work. Sheets and pillow cases were stained with make up and God knows what else. Had another guest pounding on our door asking for a lighter for his cigarette, mind you we are on a non-smoking floor. Had other unruly guests running and shouting up and down the hallways at 2:30am. How are other guests supposed to get sleep? Safe did not work, they sent a guy upstairs to fix it, but he said the safe needed a battery, so we had to lug all our jewelry and passports with us everywhere. Our bed was broken on one side, they sent the same man to fix it and he couldn't fix it and woke up with a sore back. As we went to check out there was another couple checking out complaining about stained bedsheets and a broken bed! On top of all that was wrong with this room, they did not even offer any discounts for our troubles and discomfort. I guess you get what you pay for. If I ever come back to Canada, I would gladly pay to stay somewhere with a great reputation and more expensive than to stay in this place for free. I would give it no stars if I could.

I asked for another set of towels as 3 people in 1 room. The front desk said they would go to laundry to see if they had more and call back in 10 minutes. Never called back. There was a banquet last night, someone vomited in front of our door, no one cleaned it up . Not nice. We went to the free breakfast, no workers around to refill the food trays... Other hotel guests tried to help by refilling the warming tray as the bacon was just sitting on the top of the kitchen. Got dirty looks from hotel staff. Last words, you get what you pay for.

We were family of four staying the night. There was only 4 pillows given which were all just flat like a bread. I called to get 2 extra pillows they don’t told they were out of pillows in the entire hotel. Instead was offered to blankets under the pillow. When the blankets arrived, those were just simple plain white bed sheets. The room was ok but there were no blankets on the bed just the plain white bed sheet. The exhaust fan the bathroom didn’t work so if you took a shower or used the bathroom good luck! Breakfast was reasonable and the staff was friendly. Just needs a better management and organization.

Good overall experience. Evening concierge was overwhelmed between managing the desk and dealing with security at the hall, but he did his best at check-in. Through no fault of the business I stayed during a highschool function. Soundproofing or limiting the volume at the function would be nice. The pounding base didn't stop till 2 am making it hard to sleep. For the rather high price of the room.

The rooms look outdated, television and all in the rooms are outdated, housekeeping takes too long to come clean the room but their overall service was good and of course excellent location, about 7-10mins drive from Pearson Airport.

Reserved the room expecting a budget friendly stay from the photos and descriptions. Well I was wrong! The young female working the breakfast each morning were were here was EXTREMELY rude. I simply asked where the trash was and she glared and rolled her eyes at me. We get to our room and it was so hot and sticky. The hair dryer was burnt/melted (very hazardous). Hardly any towels or toilet paper for a week stay. Wouldn’t recommend.

Beyond description. Room was gross, front desk staff were rude and dismissive - seemed like I was a huge inconvenience and would not even put down the phone on what was clearly a personal call. Forgot to call me a taxi for a flight which I needed to be at the airport at 4AM (after explains it clearly to him). When I obviously woke him up after dinging the front desk bell repeatedly, he came out and said the taxi would be there in one hour. Needless to say, I missed my flight after trying to flag a cab in the rain causing me to also miss my connecting flights to a funeral as well. Wait, it gets better…the icing on the cake was the mystery $150 deposit I was required to put on my VISA that has not been credited after paying for the room up front and now it is impossible to get someone from the hotel to deal with this 45 days later. When I finally spoke to someone at the front desk, they told me I’d have to come in to speak with a manager…I live in British Columbia which is a tad inconvenient but she had no other option. $150 is not a fortune but this is theft, pure and simple so I am not going away quietly but am unsure of more options. I’d sleep in a ditch before going near this S—t hole again.

If possible, please don't make your family or anyone you care about stay in this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in Asia and North America, ranging from backpackers' hostels to five stars, and Woodbine took the title of "the worst hotel" without any close contestants. 1. The blanket had no case and had cigarette burns 2. They reduced the waterflow of the toilet flush by coating the tank with foam. So, a single toilet paper would take at least five flushes to disappear 3. Breakfast was so bad! It's a tasteless spread of potatoes, bread, scrambled eggs and burned sausages. We wouldn't have complained, but the breakfast lady was so unreasonably rude and shouted at people every morning. 4. The staff were nothing short of incapable. After check-out, they refused to pay us our security deposit, and when confronted, they told us they had already refunded the security deposit. Then a moment later, they claimed we didn't pay for a room. We had to show them our bank statements and wasted around 30 minutes, while the front desk staff called another staff from the previous shift and tied to sort the issue. The time was very precious to us, considering we were about to see off our parents at the airport. 5. Every time we went out, they changed the key cards. I don't know how they did that.

Check in quickly was instructed how to get on the WiFi as well as the location of the room. All fine. The room itself was dirty and in disrepair. The A/c unit was covered in dust and spots of splashed liquids, hair dryer was melted, wallpaper was coming off the wall in the bathroom. The bathroom door was gross covered in dried splashed liquids. The pillow selection was small for a king size bed looked more like square couch pillows. A bed side lamp didn't work, had to steal a bulb out of the big room lamp to have light at the bed aide. The room looked as tho it was in its hayday in the 80s and never up kept after. If at all possible just avoid.

They have decent rooms but they advertise the smallest one (like a prison cell) to attract customers on places like booking.com No internet all the time which is a pain. Free breakfast is a scam as they only offer few bread aliceswith small muffins.

PLEASE DO NOTCOME HERE IF YOU ARE PLANNING EARLY CHECK OUT FOR WHATEVER REASON. GOD FORBID THERES AN EMERGENCY! EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED & UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE I booked for 3 days, which the policy includes partial refund & does not indicate about reservation being unrefundable or that you may not be able to modify. So I did an early check out after I spoke to front desk who said I would have to speak to Booking which I did the reservation through but gave me the go ahead I was able to leave. They did not indicate there about my refund not being unrefundable or an inability to recieve it. Booking has tried to contact them for 3 days straight (emails & call) and they have not yet responded (completely unprofessional). I’ve repeatedly called the front asking for them to resolve this and now I’m told that the manager will most likely tell me NO to a refund. Sounds like a lot of excuses and if the property had stated NO REFUNDS or NO MODIFICATIONS i would have understood & respected the policy but it does not absolutely state that anywhere for MY RESERVATION i chose. P.S - Walls are paper thin so I had trouble sleeping with my neighbours loud snoring.

Took photo copy of my drivers license. Said that need for security reason. All my personal info . on there. That can be duped and there is the breach of the privacy act. All that is needed is name address that is it. I did get the copy back. Told the front desk person there is a privacy act in canada. Told me I could be a criminal and then this will facilitate in arrest. Wow what is next with this hotel physical body searches. Would I recommend this hotel to someone ABSOLUTELY NOT! Stop putting people on the front desk to do your privacy act breaches.

We have stayed here many times. During our last visit, we noticed a decline in standards. What was particularly concerning was zero enforcement of health protocols. We saw hundreds of people without masks wandering in the indoor public areas. We are willing to give this establishment another chance after the pandemic is over. Until then, no.

This hotel is sooooo bad. I stayed the hotel one night. I couldn't get my deposit. Also my deposit withdrawn twice. And then I called the hotel but they said already processed. but I have evidence that I paid. And they cancel my call all the time. I couldn't get two deposit even though I stayed one night and I just stayed normal. If someone stay this hotel you have to be careful.

They have bed bugs. Please do not stay here unless you wanna carry bugs with you. Giving this much price for staying with the bed bugs is not worth. The manager did say they will give me the refund but I received nothing.

I don't usually leave any reviews, but a simple fact how terrible my experience was deserves one. First off, nothing looks like the pictures - it really is a 2 star hotel, while the pictures look like it's at least a 4 star. Secondly, the staff is rude and does not follow COVID protocols - 80% of them were not wearing masks, especially the housekeeping staff which is unacceptable! Thirdly, the so-called "included breakfast" is just two pieces of toast and a coffee. And last but definitely not least - the place is crawling with insects!!! I don't know where they are coming from, but my suite was always filled with flies that kept coming back repeatedly after I killed them. I'm assuming they were coming from the sewer lines. And the worst part is bedbugs!!! I got bit several times in different places and I am severely allergic to them. I hope I did not bring any of them home! This is absolutely my worst hotel experience ever, I would definitely recommend everyone to spend a little extra for a better hotel. Not coming back here ever again.

I wish I had gone through the reviews of this place before booking to ever stay here. It is a refugee shelter, the included breakfast is not at all sanitary, and the place is a scam. They find reasons to kick you out once you put down a deposit, it happened to me, they made up a lie saying I tried to get into some else’s room, when I asked why they didn’t kick me out as soon as they ‘seen it happen on camera’ they gave no answer, same response when I asked to see the tape. After going through their reviews I now realize this is what this hotel does. Don’t stay here, it’s not a good hotel, it’s basically a shelter that people get scammed into paying for a room

Great location and very comfy hotel. The rooms are very clean and the beds are especially plush! Check in and check out was a breeze , and this hotel is a great alternative to the pricier hotels in the area. Vending machines available with great selection. Parking was included which was so convenient. The staff are so friendly and respond quickly and efficiently. The tv had quite the variety of channels as well which was great as I travelled with my young child. Would definitely recommend.

Love this place, saw a picture of it and had to checkit out, such character ! Location was close to airport, restaurants, casino & shopping. Room was nice, bed was comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful, my only complaint was with the broken tiles on the otherwise nice shower floor, loved it, would stay again if I'm ever in Toronto again

Wish I could give it zero! Please save your money and peace and stay at another hotel! We stayed here for for 2 days during the summer and hated it... We got the suite and it was beyond gross.... It comes with 2 bathrooms and 2 attached bedrooms... someone peed in the other bathroom and they didn't even wash it.... when the reception was informed about it they said, "Oh it's just the cleaners who must have forgot to flush the cleaning agent"... seriously... we are not stupid and know the difference between pee and cleaning agents... all night long we were bitten by bugs and mosquitoes.... the breakfast was bread, soggy unfresh eggs and fruits... nothing fancy... showers tiles were broken and dirty so unsafe... couldn't even give my kids a bath... it's waste of money and disgusting! Don't stay here.... it's not like the hotel is cheaper than other hotels... spend the same amount on a better hotel!

This hotel was HORRIBLE! I checked in this hotel and I ended up staying there 4 months. And the staff there basically run the hotel! When you ask to speak to the manger of this place they give you the run around. And when you leave a " Do Not Disturb" sign on your door, these miserable (Maids/House Keeping) still invade your privacy by going into your room behind your back! WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT! AND TO MAKE IT EVEN WORSE..THE STAFF IS PREJUDICE! AND! WHEN I TRIED TO HOLD AND RESERVE MY ROOM TO HOLD AND PROLONG MY STAY, THE STAFF WILL GO BEHIND YOUR BACK AND ILLEGALLY GIVE YOUR ROOM TO ANOTHER GUEST WITHOUT YOU EVEN KNOW KNOWING! DONT STAY AT THIS DISGUSTING PLACE!

I purchased a room through expedia on 04.11.2023. Payment will be made to the person at the reception again at 03:00 on 05.11.2023. He said she canceled the other payment and it would be deposited into my account within 2-3 business days. My money has not been deposited into my account for a long time.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. I must say that the mini fridge in the tele was the most superior I have seen yet. My beers felt like I stored them in a glacier.

Cons: Was given a dirty room to start. Take out food and drinks lying around.. bed messed up an TV on. Returned to reception for another room. 2nd room ok. But sheets did not appear new. (Fresh). Too tired to complain again. Asked for a taxi before breakfast.was not ordered until I finished breakfast. Had to wait. Seems these people have their own ways, and do not listen. Pro: great breakfast. $157 seems expensive for this calibre hotel. It was the lowest i could find upon arrival. But. It's Toronto. A real multicultural moneygrab.

The guy that works night shift is horrible at his job and should go work a factory or something. I been coming to this hotel for years and always got great costumer service. But this guy is the worst and providing service and is definitely compromising the integrity of this hotel. Now because of him I’ll never go back.

Quite a dirty hotel, and our rooms air conditioning did not even work. Also, the "breakfast" is just a waffle and bread, with a serving of rude service. Don't get your hopes up! Edit: Bumping it down to two stars as we had so much trouble sleeping as the rooms around us were partying until past 3am. Overall, not a pleasant experience, as you could tell this hotel is not in a nice neighborhood.

Worst Hotel and service, especially the staff that was very rude. They block 150$ on your card to make any booking, some or other thing or a lamp in the room will not work. Rooms are cramped. Breakfast was included but it was pre packaged, they dont even provide anything extra you ask for and the lady in the Breakfast area was extremely rude, unhelpful. Stay away from this Hotel, go to Est Hotel or Holiday Inn nearby

Cleanliness was clearly struggling at this hotel.. definitely needs a few repairs as well. Our Air conditioning wasn’t working and would make a very loud vibrating noise when turned on. If you plan to stay here, make sure you’re not next to any parties/get togethers. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything! Not the greatest welcoming either.. good luck if you’re staying here for a long time

The sheets had holes in them, we found cockroaches, there was dust everywhere and they rented out rooms to homeless people. Its also a convention center so on weekend evenings it's difficult to find parking and there's constant loud music. Breakfast staff and staff in general were unwelcoming. We got fooled by the good reviews so I'm only writing this to save other people looking to stay there.

There are cons and pros to stay in this hotel. Pros: for the location, breakfast, design and comfort Cons: the cleanness, service, accommodation and room locations. Be sure not to receive the room facing the Dining area. The team didn't make any effort to change our room location, although they had the empty rooms

Pros- close to airport, free parking Cons- From the moment i walked in, staff weren't very welcoming, strong smell of weed throughout stay. Bed was uncomfortable, ended up with really bad back pain and poor sleep even though i had a king size bed to myself, bedding and towels worn out had holes in it. Breakfast was included, but there was tea/ coffee, toast and muffins only. TV- most channels not working. I had a microwave in the room, but when i asked if i could borrow cutlery, they didn't have any, except for plastic spoon and fork. keycard stopped working a few times, reception told me to keep it away from my phone, even though i didn't keep it near my phone, felt like it was a hassle getting it sorted. Reception called up one night (woke me up from sleep) to check if i was smoking and reminded me of rules, to which i told them im not a smoker! walls are thin, heard neighbours fighting and people coming back late at night being noisy. I was travelling on my own, did not feel safe. overall i would not recommend or stay again!

Remote for climate control was not the correct one for unit therefore could not stop cold air blowing on me all night. Staff were friendly. Tables piled up outside window which looked into a reception area. King bed reasonably comfortable but with standard size pillows. Glad I was only there for one night.

I recently stayed here for a couple of nights along with family members from the U.S. as I had a reception for my Dad's funeral at the adjacent banquet hall. Although we got off to a rough start with the reservations, things ended up working well. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great. I will ALWAYS be grateful to the manager named Gurdeep for his assistance during this difficult time and I'll definitely go back hopefully under better circumstances!

My friend and I needed a cheap place to stay for one night before our flight to cuba and this place wasn't far from airport. We paid just under $100 for one night stay in a room with one king size bed. Definitely not a place I would stay more than one night.. but hey, you truly get what you pay for. Didn't love nor hated it.

Room is not terrible but you can tell the maintaining of the room was not kept, tiles missing grout, crown mounding missing etc. Good size room with fridge and microwave a plus! Ceiling sucks if u like sleep not here cause it sounds like ppl walking and jumping upstairs!

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. First, we get to our room and it reeks of cigarettes despite more no smoking signs I've seen in any hotel. Second, when we ask to get a new room they didn't have another with two beds, one of us had to sleep on the pullout sofa (fine, but not what we paid for). Third, the sheets had stains, the pillows were horribly lumpy, and no hot water in the sink. Forth, when we went to breakfast all the tables had a line of WET PAINT! Are you kidding me? One of us had a sweater stained and when we brought it to staffs attention he did not care, all he said was there are renovations (cool, I don't care and that doesn't fix anything but sure is a fun fact). He told us he would get the manager and never came back. We had to go back to him at the front desk and all we got was the managers phone number. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

The most awful experience I've had in a hotel. Please don't book here, they stolen all my stuff. A housekipper opened the door for the thief and he took everything from my room. The hotel refuses to take any responsibility. In short, this is a big scam and a source of fraud. Please don't fall for this scam, go elsewhere, this hotel is not secure.

For the price it was ok..This hotel is not a typical hotel but set up to hold larger events....we were there for a hockey tournament to have a common room to use for free was great...the only issue, it was cold in this space 59 deg...it was - 30 out though.....heat for the room was a but tricky....at 64 degrees kept the room comfortable. If you put it at 70 you were sweating....The rooms were clean but do need some repairs and nicer pillows. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was buffet style freshly cooked. Bacon and sausage were cooked in the oven so it look under cooked. No cereal or fruit but most common breakfast items. Would I come back if we had another hockey tournament in the area. Not sure if it was just us.

Had a good experience with a sound sleep without any disturbance. But somehow I could not able to book the room online and had to pay a way more than what it should be as per online hotel booking rates.

We stayed there one night when we missed our connection flight on December 31. The heater (AC) was very noisy and it was so difficult to sleep. However, the room was clean and the price was very cheap and reasonable. There was a kitchen for breakfast where we found free stuff and coffee.

Not really a hotel to stay in. Furniture and facilities are old and not well maintained. Not many restaurants around. Close to the airport so good for a one-night stand between flight.

I reserved a king romantic suite with a jacuzzi for a friend welcoming his fiance to Canada from Ukraine. Because he couldn't communicate well enough, they put him and his fiance in a queen suite that looked like garbage. I paid a premium of around 150 to book that "romantic king suite" room. They refunded me $20. Scam artists taking advantage of a Ukrainian couple new to Canada.

Please avoid this place. My family member stayed here after a long international trip home. She arrived and there was nobody at the front desk. Five minutes later two employees walked in with a strong smell of weed on them and they seemed “out of it”. After confusion and distraction checking in my family member got to their room. A few minutes later a stranger wearing all black and a ski mask came to the door and would repeatedly knock to try and gain access. My family member, a young female, was rightfully concerned. After calling me, she called the front desk. The receptionist, Yuvraj said it “was not his problem” and left it at that. Hearing this I called and nobody picked up 4 separate times. She continued to ask for assistance but they had no concerns for what they needed or her safety. Cops will be getting involved, this is completely unacceptable.

Worst hotel ever ! Don’t go there !!! Save your money ! Trust and believe me ! Heaters don’t work and when they do it’s makes a lot of noise! You can hardly sleep peacefully!! The television malfunctions! They only serve TRASH breakfast and you’re lucky if you get any after 9 am ! They do not serve lunch or dinner and you can’t purchase any food at hotel! Also there isn’t a bar ! Only a vending machine that sometimes work . Front desk staff is usually horrible at there Job! And the place looks like a refugee camp ! Oh ! Also your room key stops working every time you leave the hotel or if u keep it too close to your phone it stops working ! Very inconvenient! Imagine coming in after going out and your room key doesn’t work!!! I am not exaggerating I’m being blatantly honest!!! This hotel needs Major renovations!!! Nothing WORKS PROPERLY! All this to say SAVE YOUR COINS and please find somewhere more suitable and comfortable … I’m NEVER EVER EVER RETURNING! I wish I could give this hotel 0 stars ⭐️!
