2 words: BED BUGS I stayed there a few days and discovered bed bugs bites all over my legs and chest after the very first night. I initially thought it was an allergy reaction but then I saw multiple bed bugs in my bed a few days later. I panicked and took pictures. The next day I spoke with a staff, showed the the pictures and not only they did nothing about it but accused me of bringing them over. I never had this issue back home. Their mattress is clearly extremely old and used. So instead of holding themselves accountable for their problem, they'd rather accuse the customer who spent good money at their location. Even with proofs and everything. Their staff was extremely unprofessional and rude on top of that. No compensation, no apologies. I had to deal with the consequences of their negligences back home. I basically paid to deal with bed bugs and rude staff members. Not worth it. At all

All Days Hostel is amazing. Had the best service here among any other hostels. The rent is reasonable compared to all the hostels in the city of Toronto, and it feels like home here. There are ample amenities to make your stay convenient. The location is one of the best in Toronto as everything (all tourism spots as well as supermarkets and convenience stores) are available at the door. The people at the reception are attentive 24X7 and are experienced with tourists and their wants and needs, and have professional outlook on all of it. I had a great time here. Will definitely recommend πŸ’―

Friendly service, very clean rooms, and a great location at one of the best prices you're going to find in the city. Love the easy check-in, very nice kitchen, and full bathroom.

Honest review. The place is quite old and tired especially the bathrooms. But everything works, there's good kitchen space. The location is good. However, there's quite a few issues too. Some of the staff have a bit of an attitude. I don't think on purpose it's just how they are. They didn't like to take credit card and asked for cash. Although good kitchen space they don't really want you cooking they'd rather you just prepare easy food without "smells". In the dorm room of 4, some people were claiming to be bitten by bed bugs. The staff were told but I'm not convinced anything other than a change of sheets happened. Aside from this, the stay was fine vs the cost which was the cheapest place I could find in Toronto.

The cleaners do such a good job - everything is spotless all the time. Really good rates for long term stays (1 week+) Depending on who you get at the front desk you can have a great experience or a bit of strange one. The one towards middle age (but younger maybe) is a very pleasant fellow. The older chap is pretty blunt and I experienced him yelling at me for giving out the buzzer code to the delivery guy. Suppose I shouldn't have done that but I mean I have no idea? I am a foreigner lol and these rules were not explained. Not need to yell. Just tell me it's against policy. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay as a safe, clean, consistent and cheap place. Would recommend!

The room that I got had nothing to do with the picture used for promotion, the room I got was smaller than a prison cell. The walls are just painted wood so you can hear everything that happens in all the other rooms.

For a multi-room house, it was just as nice as any 3-4 star motel I've stayed in. A few things need maintenance, but they were minor. Rooms and common areas are clean, bright, and quiet. Can't beat the location so close to subway, amenities and downtown.

Had booking for 4 days and left after 2. Been to other hostels before and this one was no where near as nice. Bed/Pillows/Bedding were uncomfortable, rooms were hot, and 2 out of the 3 showers were in unbearable conditions. Small, broken things throughout, and looked like it has not been cleaned in years. The showers and me finding a bed bug in my bed made me decide to leave. If you have the stamina, stay here because the location is great. But even with the price, its not worth it. you can get a much nicer hostel in the city for a little bit more if you just book far enough in advance.

I wish to be fair in my evaluation. This is one of the nicer hostels. The location is good. But the guy who manages it dislikes people. Therein lies the problem. Plus the bathrooms were rarely cleaned. The room was nice but super small. The walls were thin, so you could hear everything. If only the manager would learn how to be courteous.

Well, what can we say about this hostel. We booked our stay in Toronto with another website and we booked some additional things in the city. One day I woke up and they just cancelled our reservation without any notifications and warnings. When I immediately called them, the room were taken. What a coincidence. The reason was our credit card information, even though our credit card bank confirmed that the payment went through. So we payed and they cancelled our reservation for no reason. When we called, they said something was wrong with our credit card which was b*llshit. The owner said he would offer some other choices and will contact us again. Never heard of him again. I wouldn't recommend booking this hostel. We lost a lot of money, they gave us a refund of the hostel, but the tickets for the NBA game and other activities were lost. Just bad service and false advertisment.

Overall it was a great stay. Only issue is that i felt sick everytime we were there but when we left for the day i was almkst fine expect for having trouble to breath properly. I noticed on the last day that they had some plug in air wicks in the halls which im pretty allergic to. So if anyone else has this allergy, please be aware. Otherwise great location and great service.

They cancelled my reservation for some problem with my card, whereas they paiment was due there. And then I could not rebook because they incresed the number of minimum nights. RIDICULOUS, now I don't have much options for Toronto. They worst is that they make you pay if you cancel, but just cancel out of nowhere !

A "meh" experience all around... I have been in multiple hostels in Toronto and the All Days Hostel doesn't really have common areas and the kitchens are not nice to cook or spend time in. The customer service is pretty poor, there is no place to hang out at. For many people it may be enough but it has a higher price and a much lower experience than places like the Clarence Park. So only stay here if nothing else is available and you desperately need a place to sleep

The stay was really comfortable, the place is really well placed near to a Metro station and you can even walk to some places. The staff was really helpful with my booking when I got a problem because of my international bank account. I recommend this place if you want to stay in a nice, not expensive and well located place in Toronto. (you have a McDo and Supermarket and a Tim Horton next to it)

I stayed at All Days hostel for about 3 weeks on weeknights while completing a course. I have fond memories! Amenities were very basic, but secure with large lockers and a nice skylight in the kitchen area, and I loved sitting there for morning tea. It was fun to meet the other travelers, too, especially a lively contingent of teachers from Peru. The owners were quite friendly and reasonable with giving me a discount on my longer stay. Conveniently located on the Bloor line subway. Bring earplugs so you can sleep soundly in the 4-bed dorms.

It’s a hostel, so you can’t expect loads. But as far as they go, this one’s pretty damn good!

If you want to have scabies (itchy skin disease), then book there. Super dirty woolen blankets in which the mites feel very comfortable.

The private rooms are very small with a tv dating back from the 90's and 3 channels The common area are inexistant except a kitchen, a couch and 2 computers The receptionists are never here, you have to call them via a phone and they never smile seems like they don't wanna be there My bf was bitten by bed bugs and we only had one towel each for 4 nights However, the kitchen and showers are clean and they kept our luggages for our last day

We booked the wrong room initially, as we were traveling with my 3yr old we needed a second bed and one big enough for my partner and I to share. They changed it up effortlessly for us and welcomed a family to stay at the hostel. We were wrongly charged $30 for missing towels but after speaking with the owner it was sorted and he released the charges from our card.

Not even worth 1 Star I have stayed at 100s of hostels all over the world. By far the worst! One Staff member working there doesn't deserve a job let alone at a hostel. Most uncomfortable hostel experience, never felt so threatened.

The receptionist was ok could be more welcoming. Other than that parking is not included so you need to pay extra. We got in our rooms where very clean and smelled great. The prices where great. Only thing i hated was the shared bathrooms people there are really self-centered taking all morning to hog the bathroom plus they keep slamming doors all night so.. yeah

I gave a good score on Hostels EVEN if I was bit by a BEDBUG. I just read a previous review of someone having the same problem from August. Which means the bedbugs were already present and he didn't do anything to fix the problem in September.

Exactly what we needed. Straightforward quiet clean and safe accommodation for the family downtown

Don't believe those 5 star ratings, they are faked posts. dishonest and misleading listing online. first, the street number is wrong, there is no #13, had a hard time to find the hotel. second, no parking available even if you wanted to pay for it, only for long term stays, ridiculous! finally, the manager never responds to your inquires before the cancellation deadline, a bad treacherous businessman. Be ware of bed bug issue, and no private bathroom, you must share with other people!

Neat place, that's quite clean. The staff is very friendly, however no breakfast and location is a bit far from the main "attractions".

I enjoyed my stay here! The workers at this hostel were very kind and understanding, particularly when I was trying to figure out payment for my stay. They always have someone on staff on the premises and it was nice to know that there was always someone there to rely on. The location is very nice as well, there's a subway station right down the street and a grocery store across the street to buy groceries. If you're looking for a place to rest your head that has convenient access to the rest of the city of Toronto, this is a great option.

I am hosted here during one week, clean place, nice staff, available phone to call Canada, living room, computera with internet and the wifi with good quality. In front of a mall, groceries, metro station and share bikes. Nice restaurants around.
