Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. They compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! The rooftop restaurant at the Broadview Hotel is fantastic. Their food is excellent and the views of the city are amazing! Very trendy, modern spot, great for a business lunch or a night out. The staff was fabulous as well. Highly recommend a visit next time you're in the East end!

Came for a reserved bridal brunch at the Broadview Hotel’s Bistro & Bar on a Saturday. Loved the look and feel of the hotel on the outside and inside. Food & Ambience: The bistro dining area is bright open and beautiful. I ordered the Eggs Benedict which where delicious and the chicken and waffles was super dry. Service: was not so great. The waitress was sweet but started to become frustrated, sarcastic, and rude and even through the menu on the table! The manager was impatient and rushing us every step of the way, getting angry that I had to go to the washroom before ordering. He also started clearing our plates when we weren’t even finished! Definitely would not come for a group dining experience again, but might check out the rooftop because it looks amazing!

After 15 minutes of being seated no one came to greet us or take our order. We mentioned this to the host as we were leaving and she promptly apologized to us. She informed her manager who we overheard say “well I don’t know what to do in this scenario” but never approached us to apologize or offer to get our order taken quickly so we could still say. The kicker is that he got in the elevator with us and rode down with us in silence instead of addressing the issue or the fact that we were leaving without being served. Pretty disappointing!

We stopped for cocktails. The bar area has perfect ambience for conversation. The drinks are very good with unique cocktails. The server was very knowledgeable about the drinks. They also have munchies like hot olives etc. We did not register for hotel room, we are locals so walked to the hotel for drinks. I understand that in the summer the roof deck is packed. Will return

I spent Saturday night at The Broadview Hotel with my husband. It was a blast! The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were uniquely decorated with lots of features including a mini bar, fridge, TV, record player and a big beautiful window! There was a record library on our floor where you could select albums to bring to the room - super neat! We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant within the hotel. The food was great - mostly sharing plates - and the drinks were amazing. Our waitress Jane was excellent and the bartender was extremely talented! The view of the city out of the 360 windows was unforgettably gorgeous and the vibe was so fun. We also had brunch the next morning at the bistro downstairs which was delicious. Fresh food and great coffee! Thanks to all of the staff for the fantastic mini vacation!

A great hotel option for the East End of Queen street. The hotel is well kept, thoughtfully decorated and simple in all the best ways. The hotel staff were fantastic upon check-in and check-out and everything in between. I genuinely appreciated the record player in the room and record library. It’s such a cozy and unique touch to a hotel that I haven’t seen before. It definitely makes the experience more memorable and engaging. My only complaint would be the poor acoustics of the room and hall. There are quite wide gaps between the door and floor among other sound proofing things that could be improved. I do appreciate the white noise machines in each room however, it definitely helps diffuse the hall way chatter and noise.

My friend rented a room for his wedding night. The bride tested positive for COVID the morning before the arrival. With more than 24 hours notice, it still wasn’t enough for the good people at this establishment to allow him to cancel without penalty. The wedding cake, already baked, can’t do anything about that. The flowers, already arranged. The catered meal for the rehearsal dinner, already prepared. But the hotel room? What, the bed was already made especially for them? Whatever Broadview. You know you could have been better than this. The wedding is only postponed, not cancelled. The bride and groom probably would have stayed again on the makeup date. You decided to enforce your strict cancelation policy though. For what….. this bad review? I gave you one star because I’m sure you have a nice property it’s just too bad it’s run the way it is.

Rooms are funky with really comfortable beds and big windows. Showers are huge in all white and clean bathrooms. Streetcars are loud if you get a room along Queen St. There is a little patio bar that not many know about with good cocktails and fun food themes.

Incredible boutique hotel in the heart of Leslieville. The location is awesome as there are tons to see and do just steps away and easy access to transportation. We’ve attended weddings here and they’re lovely and intimate. We’ve stayed here and their rooms are immaculately decorated with a complete boutique art vibe. We frequent the rooftop bar which has awesome cocktails and great service. Our personal favourite neighbourhood spot.

Receptionists were very nice and helpful. We were on the highest level in the corner and the view was amazing. But the food was even better. The best were prawns (photo) with delicious fries (photo). Waitresses were extremely sympathetic and helpful. Absolutely recommend!!

Had a 3 nights stay at The Broadview Hotel. Their rooms are very spacious and I had a pleasant stay, went up to the roof top for drinks. There’s also a beautiful cafe at just behind the reception which can be very handy for breakfast or just coffee. I would definitely recommend.

Went to the Civic Restaurant for breakfast (not the rooftop, the indoor restaurant). Pretty space. Food was mediocre sorry to say. Americano ($5) was rancid - sour - never had like that before. Had to send it back. Ordered the breakfast ($20) scrambled eggs sausage sour dough toast home fries and salad. Generous portion. However, the food was lukewarm, home fries were chewy, sausages chewy and dry. Disappointing. Won’t be back.

Went here for a wedding event. Upon entering the Concierge will greet & welcome you & will instruct you where and what floor where we are supposed to be. Parking is a 1st come 1st serve basis. We ended up in the city parking lot which is nearby the hotel. Getting there was straight forward, just follow google maps for directions. Open bar patio was a blast, with a great view of Toronto CN tower. Main dining hall was spacious and seating arrangements was well organized. Toilets were adjacent and abundant to 100 or more guest. Food was good but not the greatest. Was served with a Roasted Duck, was not impressed. Food serving was a bit slow but overall it was acceptable. Overall the hotel was clean and well maintained.

Our family stayed at the Broadview and the accommodations were great. We even went for a quick trip to the Rooftop. The front desk was great until it wasn’t. The night we stayed, the suite next door threw a rager from 11pm to 6am. The walls were vibrating and there were loud, violent arguments. I called the front desk twice and all they said was “we can only ask them to turn it down.” Of course this didn’t result in anything happening. We all got no sleep. It was a horrible experience. I complained the next day to the front desk where I was assured I’d be contacted for compensation. I called again the next day to follow up and again, I was told I’d be contacted within 48 hours. I’m writing this terrible review because they clearly don’t care about customer service. We will never stay there again.

Wonderful hotel w lots of charm. Sparkling clean. Friendly and helpful service throughout. Rooftop bar and restaurant are beautiful, with incredible views. The only crit is that the lobby restaurant was often overbooked in the morning and we were forced to either eat in bed (no room in our hotel room to sit besides the bed) or go out. I wished there was a place in the hotel to sit, relax, read, drink coffee for hotel guests since room was tight. Great food and drinks just around the corner. Will definitely return on next trip.

OK, WOW A GEM I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT!!! I was invited to stay with a friend at this hotel. Even though I've been up and down Queen Street many times I did not notice it until the day I stayed. It is absolutely a boutique industrial chic hotel that has been renovated and upgraded over the years. You walk in and have two restaurants on the main floor, both of which have their own unique architectural flavors and delicious foods. The best part though is the upstairs, they have an incredible The Rooftop bar/restaurant with skyline view of Toronto!!!! Absolutely loved the ambience, the decor and the service! The room itself was tucked away in a neat hallway that had musical albums to choose from to listen in the room and also books to read. The room said incredibly beautiful touch that made it quite memorable. The neighborhood itself, Leslieville, has its own charm with boutique shops and foods! I look forward to coming back even though I live in the city! I am a Level 8 Google reviewer. If you are interested in having me write some food reviews, happy to do so!

If I was able to give a negative rating, I would. I came here with my two girlfriends to spend a night away from kids. We booked a high top table for a few hours and were seated at a couch. At the 90min mark, we were the only ones asked to vacate as the restaurant had a policy to book the couches only for 90min. None of the other guests were asked to vacate. Not even the ones on the couches. The manager assured us that we were not being singled out, but I think we were.

Stopped in for brunch at the Bistro and Bar. The food was delicious and fresh and atmosphere was immaculate. The space is very bright and welcoming. However, we found the service clashed. It was impersonal and a bit slow, despite there being many empty tables. We were a little annoyed to wait a while for our cheque and then see a gaggle of staff just chatting at the coffee station on our way out. Despite that, very pleased with the food itself and will be back

Really cool hotel, love the ambience, the attention to detail and thoughtful touches. Food is great and staff are friendly and responsive. Was a little disappointed that the record player in our room (which was highlighted when we checked in) was broken, as was a light on the headboard which wouldn't turn off. Was also prevented from taking a glass of wine up to my room from the bar which seemed pretty silly and archaic - I've been able to do that in every other hotel I've stayed at around the world . They said it had to be delivered by a server which of course required an additional cost.

I absolutely love this hotel! Without a doubt, it has become my go-to place for work-related stays. Having visited numerous times, I can confidently say that I've never encountered a negative experience. The sense of security it provides is unparalleled. The rooms consistently impress with their cleanliness, and the staff members go above and beyond with their helpful and friendly demeanor. One standout feature is the ability to conveniently communicate with the front desk via text, allowing for seamless reservation changes and food orders. Speaking of food, both the bistro and rooftop restaurant offer incredible dining experiences. The rooftop restaurant, in particular, provides a beautiful view, making it the perfect setting for a date night. And let's not forget about their lattes – arguably the best I've ever had. What sets this hotel apart is its unwavering commitment to sustainability, a refreshing and responsible approach. The location is another highlight, especially for those without a vehicle. You can effortlessly walk to various activities, restaurants, and bars, making it a prime choice for a dynamic and enjoyable stay. All in all, this hotel exceeds expectations and stands out as a fantastic accommodation option.

Very swanky place, much fancier than I'm used to. It had a record player in the room, the bed was huge and so comfy, the shower was so spacious. The whole vibe of the hotel and the room was just perfect for me. I especially loved the long velvety red curtains and the beautiful floral wallpaper for an accent wall. The wallpaper was my favourite part of the room!!

I took wife wife here for her Birthday this past weekend. To begin, it was difficult to figure out parking. No place to pull upto the hotel and unload or check in. You have to figure out the parking APP before hand. The room was nice and clean, a little dissapointed that after the price paid for the room, you still were being charged for any mini bar or snack purchases. If these small ticket items were included, it would make a good compliment to the rooms. The rooftop bar was nice, drinks and service was good. We were awoken at 2:00am until 4:00am by fellow guests partying in our hallway. This was a large dissapointment. We had breakfast at the main floor restaurant, which was pleasant enough. Our breakfast sausages were cold, perhaps precooked and not kept warm enough.

I have photographed a couple weddings at the Broadview Hotel and it is absolutely amazing! The service is great and the food is always delicious. I have been able to photograph a wedding in the Lincoln Room and the Civic room as well as cocktail hour on the Rooftop and Bistro and every space is beautiful! It elevates every wedding and is always such a pleasure to photograph there. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating.

A beautiful place to have a wedding. As a photographer, this venue has charm, uniqueness, history and character, and I love shooting here. The food is amazing, and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend you check out this place if you are planning a wedding!

We have had the pleasure of staying here twice and both of our stays were exceptional! The staff are friendly and kind. The rooms are so pretty and very clean. The bed is super comfy and the drinks and food were also very good. We will most definitely stay again and again and highly recommend anyone who wants a unique boutique style hotel stay to try this hotel!

Stayed here on the night of our wedding. The hotel had a great atmosphere and our room was lovely. The staff were very accommodating and even let us order a few things on the house since we were getting married. Would stay here again!

This hotel is where we keep coming back. The rooms and the vibe are spectacular. The staff are attentive and more than helpful. The rooms are beautiful and so is the area. We recently stayed in the Chelsea Hotel downtown, for a similar price and found that the comparison is night and day. The Chelsea hotel felt cold and corporate while the Broadview felt like you lived in the city. 5/5 would recommend.

Tried to cancel my room because my business trip was canceled. They will not refund the money for the room. Plenty of notification. Be sure you want to stay there and know you will not get your money back if you do cancel. They offered the rate for another trip. I would rather stay somewhere else as the "notification" was hidden in a "click here" tab. Not very upfront about the policy. Too shady for me.

I recently dined at Broadview Hotels' rooftop patio and indulged in a delightful spread. The Bang Bang Shrimp, Sesame Crusted Tuna, Red Hot Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Braised Beef were all exceptional, showcasing a diverse and well-executed menu. While the dishes were fantastic, I couldn't help but notice the slightly steep prices, which might be a consideration for some. However, the breathtaking rooftop view of Toronto added a spectacular ambiance to the dining experience, making it a memorable evening overall. I found the wine selection very sparse, if you like wine you may want to bring your own, corking fee of $35 Our server was very attentive and kind. Thanks!

Had a wonderful experience at Broadview while staying in Toronto. Parking was located right across the street. The rooms and hotel were stunning and the front desk staff were very pleasant. We ate breakfast in the restaurant on the main floor and dinner on the roof top patio and both were unbelievably delicious. The staff made great recommendations for both drinks and food and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend staying here for a different, fun experience in the heart of downtown.

We had a couple of weekends off during the summer season so we decided to check out some venues in the GTA. The Broadview Hotel is a hidden gem of a location with elegantly designed comfortable rooms and various locations to host weddings and events. We enjoyed some desert and a cocktail on their rooftop patio which has a lovely view of downtown TO. Our complimentary breakfast the next morning was out of this world. If you're thinking about staying in the beaches area we would highly recommend them. H&M

Went to the rooftop restaurant. The view is absolutely amazing! However, the food options were overpriced and nothing to write home about. Cocktails were pretty good, so if you go just stick to that and enjoy the vibes.

  • 5/5 Heather O. 6 months ago on Google
Fantastic hotel, amazing staff, well appointed rooms. Great location outside of downtown, but still close enough to Uber for $12. They offer sparkling water on tap in the hall - doesn't get better than that! I will absolutely stay here again.

I will never take my quiet bedroom for granted again, and for that I am grateful that I spent 3 nights enduring boot camp style awakenings every 30 minutes or so with an aggressive HVAC system that had a mind of its own. The hotel has a gorgeous hipster/deco vibe and friendly staff. I think I just ended up in a possessed room.

Loved almost everything about this hotel. The only tiny thing is that they prioritize design over functionality e.g coffee makers in the room are French presses. That said it really is no big deal, everything is super stylish and pretty. Rooftop is awesome, location is awesome and service is awesome.

2 night stay, centrally located to shops, dining and breweries. Room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of books and records in the hallway cases. The rooftop patio is swanky- reservations recommended. Lobby bar is bright and beautiful for breakfast.

Room is gorgeous. Record player in the rooms + a pretty good selection of albums on a particular floor. Easily able to cast entertainment from my phone onto the room tv which is great. Staff are very kind and helpful. Rooftop patio is pretty incredible. Food and drinks *chefs kiss*

We were at the Broadview Hotel for a wedding recently, and overall, it was a positive experience. The Civic is a really beautiful spot for a relaxed wedding. The food was quick, staff were friendly and polite, and the bartender made really awesome drinks. The hotel, overall, is also really aesthetically pleasing. It feels cozy and stylish, and I while can't speak to the rooftop bar, but I would have loved to give that a try. Our biggest gripes come from the room itself. On the positive side, our room was clean and stocked. I was pretty hungry when we arrived, so despite coming in at $6 a bag, I was happy to see chips in stock. There's also more than enough space to put your luggage and whatever else you have with you, and we were in the smallest room available. Big bed. Two squishy pillows each. AC kept the room cold all night, which I prefer. Sound, however, really travels. When we woke up after our night's stay, we could hear the next room's TV as if it was playing from our TV. (A TV that I wish was just connected to cable, and we could flip through regular broadcast channels vs. signing in to whatever and trying to figure out all the internet options with no guide to be found) We also heard the next room's hairdryer really loud and clear, almost like the other guest was in our bathroom. I couldn't imagine dealing with that every morning if we were staying for a week or more. UPDATE: We were incorrectly charged for an item from the minibar, and the hotel reservations team was very quick to respond to our concerns and refund the charge. Initially, I thought we were charged for drinks from the TIFF gift bag they offered, and it wasn't until after I took a guest survey that I was told we were charged for a bottle of wine (that we didn't drink). I think it would be helpful if the final bill included a more itemized list of what we were charged for -- it would help avoid confusion going forward. But I'd add half a star to this review for the quickness of the hotel's response to our request. We enjoyed our friends' wedding overall because that was a special event for us, but wouldn't return to the Broadview for a personal visit, especially not to stay the night.

Wonderful experience both the first time and second time we've stayed here. Our original hotel didn't work out and they were able to accommodate us for the next day, staff is wonderful as always and were very helpful taking our luggage before we checked in so we could walk around the city freely. Rooms are beautiful, either view we got was lovely in my opinion and the furnishings are top notch. Will definitely be staying again whenever we are back, and certainly would recommend to anyone coming into Toronto.

Enjoyed our recent stay at The Broadview - 3rd floor room window was small and high, but the room was clean and modern. Loved the record player touch! Location was great with lots of shops and restaurants, and an easy walk to the Distillery District.

It’s a non friendly service. Very poor reception. Waste of money. I wont go there again. They made me wait for another hour on top of the time of their promise and their excuse was because of a wedding party. Not mentioning that we couldn’t use the roof bar which we paid for only because of another party!!! How ridiculous is that. They charged us more than 70$ for two small snacks and box of ready coffee in the room which has to be free!!!! Please don’t waste your money going there.

The room, the views, service and food were all excellent. Celebrated my wife's birthday. Great time was had by all. Would definitely return and recommend

  • 4/5 L m. 4 months ago on Google
The location was convenient and the room was cute, the parking was difficult- they say on site parking but they have maybe 8 spots behind the hotel, so we weren’t able to park there. There are 2 pay parking lots very close and the overnight rate is just 7$ but daytime you pay 3$ per half hour I think so it adds up. The record player in room didn’t work and the terrace doesn’t offer any view, it’s just a brick wall with a bench, we were slightly let down by that. The bed was comfortable but the lighting in the room is pretty awful if you’re actually trying to work on something. The bathroom and shower was nice and spacious and the water was really hot. Would probably stay again, but maybe choose a different room since the terrace was a let down.

This was our first stay but not our last! We were greeted by friendly front desk staff. Updated by text to the slightest change in upgrades available. The record player in the room was a lovely touch as well as the decor of our room.

The friendliness and expertise of the staff made this stay very enjoyable. The real-time texting with the front desk was a fantastic experience. Room amenities were modern, but with a retro design. The bed and bedding were five star.

Other than room not being ready on time, this place is an urban gem. Great staff, wonderful rooftop and Bistro and pet-friendly too. Enclosed off-leash park right next door! Despite a wedding and big party the night we were there, room was quiet. Incredibly comfy bed.

It's converted at moment into homeless shelter and the worst by far as I have seen 4 in 2yrs and still not housed. many more hotels have been reassigned since the start of the pandemic. Fred Victor Society they should be mentioned more as they are the best. hands down. I'm at the Edward north village.

Had an awesome one night stay here. Conveniently located 10 minutes away from the venue for the concert we were seeing (History). We called last minute to request the addition of a pet to our stay and staff was very accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and the drinks we had at the bar were unique and enjoyable.

Things don't always work out, and I totally get that, but it was a whole bunch of things in a row wrong with this place. Upon arrival for check in at 3:30pm, when the check in time is stated as 3PM, there was no front desk staff for 10 minutes. Then we were told our room wasn't ready so they gave us a voucher for 2 free cocktails. Cool, until my partner get her cocktail immediately and I had to wait 20 minutes for mine while it was dead. Also the bartender used their bare hands to add things to the cocktail, like the espresso beans. When we gave them the vouchers they informed us we still had to pay taxes on the drinks, which is wild. The glasses in the rooms were dirty as well, and the lightbulbs were dying. We did have a really awesome waiter in the morning though, so that was nice. The cappuccino and latte we had were also excellent. Wouldn't stay here again.

I stayed at the Broadview for a long trip to Toronto and they truly made it feel like a home away from home! I had a lovely suite with one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly, calling me by name and wishing me well on my way in or out. The restaurant downstairs has very yummy breakfast at a great price + the rooftop bar is absolutely darling. There is a bus stop right out front and a streetcar across the street so getting around is super easy. It's also in a great walkable neighborhood with lots of coffee, bars, restaurants and shops nearby. I will definitely be staying here my next trip to Toronto and will suggest it to everyone!

Staff was very kind and responsive. Room was clean and well kept. They had missed getting towels set up in our room but that was quickly resolved. Very good attitude. Hotel street was under construction so it was noisy. Location was OK for families, but not great. Very close to the subway and underground walking system and shopping. Everything was accessible via subway and that was clean too. Room was a little tight but we did have 2 adults and 2 older children… so that’s to be expected.

Had a friend who was staying here. Very impressed with the internal upgrades. The place certainly has a finer scale of craftsmanship and higher end feel and look. What was even more impressive is how it manages to keep the feel of the authenticity of the architecture while better than just modern upgrades. Will surely recommend any friend visiting from out of town to stay here. Staff and service was amazing and accommodating, especially during the night. Thanks for getting the door for me and assistance. Six Stars

I recently photographed wedding prep, wedding party and all the portraits of my couple at this hotel and it was incredible. The staff was so nice and allowed me to shoot in the bistro which was closed at the time. ( I apologize profusely if my assistant didn't put everything back where it belonged ), then we headed up stairs to the restaurant and they allowed me a few minutes in the space with my couple and then we headed outside to the rooftop patio........BIG THANK YOU to The Broadview Hotel for accommodating this wedding couple and the photographers.

Neat hotel with a lot of history, the staff were friendly and engaging. Very easy check in and checkout, with Sarah who I assumed is the manager of the restaurant her team made a fantastic meal for our meeting in the “tower”. Will make a effort to stay again when back in Toronto. Thanks again!!

Truly an exceptional experience staying in one of their rooms. Modern and beautiful rooms, where I was able to play old vinyl records and enjoy a quiet night stay. The service from the Front desk to the culinary experience on the rooftop was impeccable. If you’re ever looking at getting away and having a vacation within the city for a night or two try this hotel and let them know I sent you! If you get the opportunity tell the chef to pick and create something for you as I did!

Cozy, warm and the bed was very comfortable.. The staff was very friendly. I did order room service, and that’s where I was disappointed. It arrived fast, with very friendly staff.. The appetizer was amazing and then the main dish… I’m not sure if there was something bad in it, but the smell alone put me off. Too bad… The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs, was amazing.

My wife and I spent her birthday night at The Broadview Hotel. The hotel and rooms are beautiful! The location is definitely ideal. With gas and parking prices, it was nice to be able to take public transit (TTC) and be dropped off right at the front door. I told the front desk it was my wife's birthday and they sent us a complimentary piece of cheesecake! It was so thoughtful and delicious. Would definitely stay here again when staying downtown overnight.

We made a reservation for the rooftop and were so excited because we had heard great things about the view and the drinks. We planned a double date night so there was four of us, and they seated us at a high top table outside. We were on the opposite side of the building from the view, so that was super disappointing considering we made a reservation ahead of time. The drinks were not very good (our group tried three different ones), the food portions were really small and nothing special. We had a few snacks and one of the larger dishes and we ended up deciding to leave and eat elsewhere. Definitely wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to come here, maybe it’s fine if you’re staying at the hotel and it’s convenient for you.

Brunched at the Bistro on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the experience! Portion sizes are reasonable and the menu is very inclusive to different dietary needs. Only downside during our experience: Their high top table and seating height with booth and barstool was very inconsistent. However, my friend and I requested to be moved tables and were accommodated very graciously by the staff. Thank you for a lovely end to the week.

The rooftop restaurant at the Broadview Hotel is fantastic. Their food is excellent and the views of the city are amazing! Very trendy, modern spot, great for a business lunch or a night out. The staff was fabulous as well. Highly recommend a visit next time you're in the East end!

We were in town for a concert at the Opera House and picked this hotel largely for its proximity to the venue. Couldn't be happier with our choice. The communication from the staff was excellent and texts were responded to immediately. The room was excellent, the record player in the room was a nice touch, as were the water filling stations that were available. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

We had our wedding at the Broadview Hotel and had many issues. I've provided 2 stars because the food was good, and hotel is beautiful. However: - We arrived at the hotel at 2pm to setup, didn't have ceremony until 5. At 5, when music turns on for wedding party to walk out, we're intercepted by security asking for vaccine passports. I'm for passports, but they couldnt have asked between the 3hrs we were there before? So right away, Broadview put our wedding off schedule as the music had to stop and we return to our rooms to find wallets and cell phones. - Broadview Hotel missed Allergy alerts for one of our guests, fortunately she identified the meal was compromised before eating it. - We were told that the outside heater on the terrace would be on for our guests during cocktail hour. They didn't turn it on until 45minutes into the hour, and our guests were freezing, trying to get back into the hotel. - We chose Broadview for the accessibility elevator as we had guests in wheelchairs. Upon arrival the elevator was being used for storage and we had to (AGAIN) request they clear it out and have it ready for us. - End of the night the elevator broke, and our wheelchair guests had to be CARRIED OUT OF THE VENUE. - We were told management would get back to us within a week with reconciliation. It's been over a month since that communication and I've followed up twice with No reply. I do not recommend the Broadview Hotel for your wedding or special event.

This hotel was wonderful, and this is coming from someone who is super, superrrr, picky about hotels. Customer service was lovely. Room was pristine. Location is excellent. The decor and vibes were very cozy and aesthetically pleasing. I stayed over during new year’s eve which is probably one of the busiest times of the year and still everything went smoothly. The only tiny “criticism” I have is that having more ice machines would be nice. But otherwise, it was a 10/10 stay. Will return!

Had a lovely lunch today at the Broadview Hotel Restaurant. The waiter Avin was OUTSTANDING! Attentive, professional and always smiling. Checked in several times during our meal. Made us feel important and special-wonderful experience.

Beware of the misinformation! Parking is not guaranteed for guests, it is first come first serve and “pet friendly” isn’t that friendly. We selected this hotel mainly for the pet friendly policy. I called 7 hours before check in and confirmed w the hotel that we had a dog and a car, so parking was required. No problem was the response and when I asked about their pet policy, I was told our little pooch could stay in the room alone if required and the only condition was we needed to put on the do not disturb sign, (ie if we wanted to take advantage of their rooftop bar). Nothing was said about issues w parking. The hotel is on a busy corner w no pull in off the street so I parked in the rear alley, went to the front desk and asked where we should park. I was told the parking was full and that I was on my own finding a lot. The lot we found was across the street, but was only good until 7 am. As a result, I’ll have to get up at 7am to renew my parking…I was also charged $30 for a late checkout, almost seems like an oxymoron. When I was asked to sign the pet policy, it stated dogs were not allowed in the rooms unattended. It’s $40 for a pet by the way. I’ll add that same day cancellation had expired by the time I checked in but not at the time I called…ironically the front desk made a point of telling us not to miss out on the rooftop bar…which of course does not allow 🐶.

This is one seriously nice place with fantastic rooms with some of the nicest features including a turntable and an album library. Large spacious and comfortable bed, a well stocked Mini bar and even a little device to help you fall asleep. Staff were very happy and super helpful. There's a lovely restaurant behind the front desk. Everything was excellent.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down. Wonderful hotel w lots of charm. Sparkling clean. Friendly and helpful service throughout. Rooftop bar and restaurant are beautiful, with incredible views.

Stayed last night for a wedding. The room was fairly small, but after we experienced a leak in the shower that flooded our room, things turned bad. These things can sometimes happen at a $350 a night hotel, but the total disregard by hotel management was breathtaking - the response was "there is no problem with your shower, here is a bunch of towels to try the floors." Not coming back to this hotel, that's for sure!

Very very pleasing rooftop bar and view! The cocktail was delicious, but the mocktail mojito was way too sour. They have the most fancy and extra washroom 😂 I very much enjoyed the place, I would go again!

Three stars for the ambience and view alone! We went for drinks at the Broadview hotel and had one of the best seats in the house, with a beautiful view of the downtown skyline and CN tower in the distance. Our group was disappointed by the service we received from our waitress. She gave us the wrong drink and instead of apologizing and offering to take it back she just said "that's what I have written down". Definitely a huge no-no for customer service. It's a shame for such a nice place, the service definitely doesn't match up.

Food was good staff was not the nicest in fact they were quite awkward. The notable thing that is bringing down my rating is that Google says closes at 11:00 and they brought us our bill at 10:15 without asking and cleared our table by 10:20 “get out” essentially, now it was a Monday but don’t open until 11:00 if you’re going to kick out paying customers.

The front desk staff don't really know what they are doing. Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooftop and beautiful restaurant, unfortunately the front desk staff seem super lost and makes it for a very awkward interaction and experience. Reply: the email you provided me to send my specific concerns to is the front desk. Is this intentional?

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days and loved every moment of my experience here. The rooms are chic with very comfortable beds. There are vinyl record players in every room and you have access to a large selection of vinyls! There is also sparkling and still water on tap which you can access anytime. Aarti at the front desk was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. She made my stay very comfortable.

This was a cute boutique hotel. Room was nice - tricked out with some bougie amenities, but still felt pretty upscale. Coffee bar was a dream for my early morning departures. My only complaint - how does a hotel at this price point in this location not have a gym!?

Hotel on the fringe of downtown area. Price is high like all downtown hotels, could stay for less than half if you drive 20km away from downtown. Traffic being what it is I chose to stay here which is blocks from my destination. Clean updated rooms, comfortable bed. My only disappointment was that for $450 they don't even offer a simple continental breakfast included. You get that at even the lowest end $100 motels, just seems cheap IMO. If I could manage the drive in rush hour I would stay away from ALL downtown hotels and save 50-70%

This is a review for the restaurant. I had high hopes for the Broadview Hotel restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The service was terrible; our server never came by to ask if we wanted a second round of drinks or to top up our water. We even had to ask for missing cutlery and napkins ourselves. To make matters worse, they completely botched the split bills and left us to figure it out. When it was time to pay, the machine prompted for an 18/20% tip, which surprised me, given the poor service we received. It was honestly the worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. The food wasn't any better. The fries we ordered were disappointing; they seemed like the end bits from both orders and were covered in an excessive amount of powdered spice. The seared tuna suffered the same fate, drowning in a ton of ramen spice that overpowered the dish's flavors. I couldn't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. It appeared to be a popular spot for first dates, but I couldn't fathom why. Overall, it was a letdown, and I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

The hotel staff was friendly but they weren’t accommodating nor efficient. We got there on time to check out at 3 and they told us our room was not ready, we had to wait another 20 minutes to get in our room and we just had to wait around at the roof top patio. Not to mentioned we had to re schedule our plans. They didn’t even offer us a drink on the house. The roof top bar was nice but the food didn’t seem appetizing at all. The drinks were ok, but they use Minute Maid juice for their mimosas which was disgusting. I also don’t get what the hype is about for this hotel and their restaurants. The food is mediocre. The hotel service even more. We got to our rooms and there was no hand soap so we had to call the housekeeping to come fill it up. Even thought they were supposedly just there checking that everything was fine. No base for the kettle, no water in the room to start with, so we had to go get our own water from The stations outside. The tv was old and it glitched. The image would Jump every 10 seconds and the sound would get cut. Couldn’t even connect our phones to it. The vinyl player was busted, the sound wasn’t right and most of the vinyls were damaged so they would skip. The bar for alcohol was ridiculously expensive. A 400 mill of kettle vodka was over 70 bucks a 2 oz mini bottle of Reid’s gin 16. The only reasonably priced were the snacks. The room itself was nicely decorated and very picture worth it but the terrace is not a terrace. They shouldn’t call it that. That nook with an open ceiling that is outside should even have a name. It’s a 4 by 11ft of space outside with just the sky to look at…. And you get all the lovely voice from the crowd at the roof top bar.
