Weird smell. Stains all over carpet. Stains in bathtub. Some appliances like lights did not work. Wifi was so slow I ended up using my data instead. Overall did not feel clean or worth the money. Would not recommend.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Lady at reception was rude, room was very old looking and felt dirty. Faucet was was completely loose so if you used it, there was a chance of it coming off. All room service did was make the bed and empty garbage. No actual cleaning took place. It seems like the rooms never got cleaned, instead they just febreeze the place and hope for the best. Wifi worked for maybe 20 minutes. I saw other networks were being tethered by guests own phones. The room keys need to be constantly re-keyed because phones demagnetize them. Also just before checking out we saw a roach on the tv table. Almost as if the little guy was waving us goodbye. Strongly do not recommend. 0 stars if I could.

This room was the worst room I have ever (attempted to) stay at!!! We asked for non smoking and the first thing I smelled was cigarettes!!! Like someone had just smoked a carton in the room before we walked in. They put a “Restorator” machine in room on nightstand to try and filter the cigarette smoke, but not even 50 of these machines would be able to tackle that task. There were stains on the bathroom walls and countertops. There were people blasting music in their room partying, walking in and out of rooms to other rooms (half naked). Young man kept staring at my every move as I walked to my room , was uncomfortable. Did not feel safe at all. We immediately grabbed our bags and went and spend 300+ dollars on another option. Very disappointed is not even scratch the surface of how disgusted I was. I want a full refund issued. It’s only fair.

I was refused access because I have a service dog. We called ahead of time to ensure it wouldn't be a problem. Days Inn was happy to tell us it would be no problem whatsoever. As soon as we arrived, the front desk clerk said it was private property and they would call police if I attempted to enter. So instead of staying here, I've filed a human rights complaint. What a stupid hill to die on. He didn't even see the dog. The dog hadn't left the car. As soon as he saw the notes about the service dog, he told us to go away.

Place needs a little freshening up. It is the little things. A lot of garbage in the flower beds, the interior main entrance needs a fresh coat of paint. The rooms need to be refurbished. But matress was comfortable. The gentleman at the front counter was very friendly and helped us a lot, he gets 5 stars.

The worst experience in my life, the bathtub had hair, a person's contact was on the table, there were files, the microwave had a person's leftover lunch, and the room stank. as if they never cleaned the room and gave it to us. I paid $172 for one night. Save your money, mental health, and physical health from this place. If I don't get my refund after contacting them, ill have to let HR now about this unsafe macteria breathing hotel. There also maybe bed bugs.

Although staff were pleasant, there was alot more wrong with this place than good. - Upon entering the building, the front door has a high step....no sign, very dangerous. - Next, entering the floor the room was on, it danked of cannabis and cigarettes. - After finding the room and entering there was evident water damage on the walls. - the lamp in the corner of the room looked like the leaning tower of Pisa...then randomly fell while in the room later that night. - The AC unit wouldn't work properly... probably because it was broken...I say this because the carpet on the floor directly under the unit was drenched in a 4'x4' area. - There was a stain on my bed sheets...I didn't even sleep in the bed. All in all, I left and slept in my car in a parking lot... needless to say... I'm gonna want my money back.

    1) Upon checking out our room, there was a pile of dirty towels in the closet, and when asked to sanitize the area, the woman looked at me and walked out. 2) When I was showering the next day, I found a cockroach in the bathroom. 3) Lastly, when we were packing up to leave, there was a used condom wrapper under the edge of the bed. I was quite displeased with those issues. And would probably not be returning to that location. Beds were comfortable, and the managers' hospitality was very friendly. However, since we have stayed there 3 times previously, I would not be returning to that location. The housekeeping staff needs to do a better job and/or be fired. It's not difficult to spend an extra 5 minutes per room, making sure it's clean. Especially when I have 2 tween girls.

Paid for the King Suite. The bathtub handle was broken. The bed had a piece of metal sticking up under the sheet which cut my boyfriends leg in the middle of the night. We were only given 2 pillows and we asked for another (multiple times) but did not get anything. I went to open the shower cap so I did not ruin my hair before a night out and the box was empty. Clearly these rooms are not being cleaned or taken care of throughly. The main lobby is very uncomfortable and outdated, and all the hallways smell disgusting like body odour.

Dirty Rooms, dirty bathroom, rooms are smelly as not ventilated properly, Air con noise like a busted truck engine. Insects and cockroaches in the room. Bath towels smell like frying oil. Some of the receptionists have a vulgar attitude and some of them are nice... The young guys especially have a great attitude. The whole experience in this hotel was terrible. With their rates you can find a better place especially in downtown Toronto. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone at all. Breakfast is bad and the coffee tastes like colored water No closet for clothes. No laundry on site. Better stay in a motel than this hotel.

I was a bit leary based on some of the reviews but was pleasantly pleased. The lobby could certainly use updating but had no plans on spending time there. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It's not a luxury hotel so expect that some things could use a bit of cosmetic repair but it overall I have no complaints and would stay there again.

Mattress is of poor quality but room was clean and free from smells. Good value for what you are paying. But my mom slipped and fell. They should put an anti-slip mat in bathtub. Also Internet was not working.

Cheap prices but upon checking in had dirty towels, black scuffs on pillowcases and black hair in the bathroom (definitely not ours). Everything we requested to be changed was done so promptly. Sorry to say we will not be returning or referring anyone to stay here.

Breakfast on the other hand it was nice and hotel need a renovation. I’m coming back cause other staff treating me nice except front desk.

When I checked online before taxes the price was $93 but when I called the guy upper the price to way over $140. The room had an off smell to it and there was a lot of water damage done to the room, the light was falling off the wall. There was no heat in the room and the heater didn't work.

The floor felt dirty and when we turned on the air conditioner, black fuzz came shooting out. Additionally, the bottom of the bath tub felt slimy. Despite that, the room itself was quite large. It felt like a small apartment. The breakfast was also good. For hot foods they have sausage patties and waffles. Cold food included bagels, cream cheese, juice, coffee, boiled eggs, and cereal.

The location was pretty good, plenty of restaurants nearby within walking or driving distance. The hotel itself wasn't to bad, a little old, but what I expected. The free breakfast the hotel offered was above my expectations. The WiFi in the hotel was absolutely terrible and either wouldn't work at all or would stay connected for short intervals and only work a little. The WiFi is definitely by biggest complaint.

The staff at the reception was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, and they kindly allowed me to extend my stay by an hour. However, I have to rate it lower due to the condition of the carpet in the room, which was in need of improvement. Additionally, there was a slight uncomfortable odor in the room, and walking on the carpet resulted in our feet becoming dirty.

Dirty, dark, grimly outdated hotel as a whole. The rooms had wallpaper peeling off the walls, fixtures and fittings which weren’t secured, stained carpets and nasty smells throughout! This hotel needs new management/owners and a serious remodel as it is currently disgusting and no reputable holiday firm should be using them. On top of that they had the cheek to take a $100 security deposit at the start of the stay! They should have been paying us that as an apology for staying there! Please do not book this hotel!

Its very old hotel and is not maintained well, lobbies and rooms always smell like cigarette smoke as we tried 3 different rooms. The AC was old and noisy, very little light in the rooms, you cant even get water from the wending machine as its always out of stock, The staff is good though !

Positives: Friendly courteous, hardworking staff and ok complimentary breakfast. Free wifi and parking. Negatives: Pillows are a torture. Stuffed with pieces of polyester, feels like you are sleeping on rocks. Cobwebs hanging off the ceilings, dirty bathtubs and pieces of tiles falling off. Carpeted floors make anyone itch.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! This place was a absolute disaster. The room was very unsettling very unclean and reeked of cigarette smoke to the point where I felt sick and had to leave. The toilet didn't work and the tv barely worked. We left within hours of checking in and after weeks they refused to give us a refund. This place is so over priced for the rooms you get. We left and drove 15 mins and found a way cheaper and nicer hotel. This place is seriously not worth it.

Washrooms are very old. Need renovation. After all, the money they charge per night, it doesn't worth that much. We can stay at any other better quality hotel with less money then this. There is a lady works at the front desk. She is not polite and doesn't know how to deal with the customers. She is very rude. This kind of receptionist or front desk worker should be charge.

Overall it was ok. The hotel was clean and good value for money, the bedroom was large, however a few improvements in my opinion: - Breakfast was not impressive (simple pastries like croissants or pain au chocolat instead of cereal bars would have been best and more nourishing) - Please pay attention to towel changes (I had to bring the dirty ones to the reception desk and get new ones) - A few maintenance works in the 328 bedroom would be great (leaning TV, wobbly towel rack...) However I have to mention that all receptionists we saw have always been respectful and friendly, and paid attention to our requests. Keep it up.

It was dated but the location was good and free parking even though it is out of date. $100 a night in Toronto didnt have high expectations but the carpet needs steam cleaned and febreezed. The whole place smells like cigarettes and stinky socks.

Place was clean, but the iron for clothes was rather dirty. Female receptionist gave a cold attitude (no greeting, dry responses, interruption when question asked). Second receptionnist was relatively nicer. Days Inn close to a secretive water place.

First thing I saw upon walking into the lobby was bugs. It smelled terrible. Recieved my room key from reception and the room was already occupied. I went back down and it happened again. I finally got a room that wasnt occupied but the lights didnt work, it smelled and was visibly very dirty. If I had another option, never would have stayed the night.

Hotel has large rooms and spacious parking but corridors are stinky. Bathrooms are not maintained. Water keeps leaking from the washbasin. Showers are quite old.

My friend and I booked this hotel for one night as we had a change of travel plans. Firstly. It looks nothing like the pictures. Next our first room had the most pungent smell of mildew and the entire carpet felt quite damp. We called and asked to switch room to which one was available and we were able to preview it. It was nice but still had a ting of mildew smell. We found someone sunglasses sitting in the corner of the room… telling us the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. The beds were alright but they are super modern and trendy… I think to distract from the dinginess of the place. The bathroom is EXTREMELY SMALL as well. Honestly a lot of the place was small and felt dirty. We checked in close to midnight and tried to find another hotel but with no luck so we were forced to stay. If you are on a budget and need and cheaper hotel I guess this would do but do not pay more then 80ish dollars.

If I could give a negative star I would, in fact I would give 10 NEGATIVE stars. Awful greeting from the very start, actually it was more like NO greeting. Room was rank with the smell of smoke, in a Non Smoking Room. Called the front desk, hoping to actually be moved to a non smoking room, but no, told to turn the AC on and then they hung up. Awful, awful, awful .... better off to save your money, and sleep in your car.

Hotel was kinda dirty, elevator floor needed cleaning for sure. We had the king suite with a jacuzzi, bed was comfy. Room was big. Basic cable on tv. Fridge, microwave. Breakfast was basic and super busy, we decided to skip it

Our experience here was not nearly as bad as these reviews make it out to be. The property was outdated but clean, the staff was friendly and check -on was easy. The room was very clean, but the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Fine for one night.

If you need to stay in this area this would be the last place you'd probably want to spend your money. The room they gave me stunk of stale cigarettes. I'm sure its difficult to police but when I reported it there was little or no interest from the staff. I was only staying one night so didnt push it but the beds are uncomfortable, tiny hard pillows and with the smell in the room didn't sleep well. Very tired place needing refurbishment but great location for my requirements. Oh and breakfast was.....interesting.

Today August 11th,2023 at 12:23pm I contacted this office, to inquire about my father's ROE...Since he was a worker at one of the locations. The guy who is Indian and working this shift had hung up the phone on me constantly, because he didn't have the answer to my questions and I wanted to know if he has HR OR MANGEMENT NUMBER. He is very rude, kept on clicking the phone then hung up on me more than 5 times. This is not acceptable and I'm contacting the city or anyone that can help me ,because you do not work at front desk and do that. I will take my concerns to higher authority. No one can do this at work. I'm reporting that hotel all for racism, unclean, they do not sanitize there furnitures, and towels are not changed ,nor is the bed sheets. You find menstrual stains on their, pooh stains, and bugs in the beds. Do not go to this hotel they do not follow covid procedures. The Indian guy working there told me he will continue to hang up the phone and he surely did. They are no good

Upon arrival it looks like it'll serve its purpose. Nothing fancy and a place to sleep. The check in process was quick and efficient. However the room was dingy and the bedding was too light and seemed to be intended for summer though it is winter. The phone in the room also was broken. And I don't mean it simply doesn't work, I mean it looks like someone took a baseball bat to the thing. I'm not sure why they would leave it in the room at all. The WiFi is also useless. 3 bars mafx of service so don't expect to get any work done. The walls are also very thin. I didn't get to sleep (on a work night) until 3am due to neighbours making a ton of noise. Then they woke me up again at 4:30am.

The reviews speak truely of this place. The place looks nothing like the pictures. A young couple came in and looked just as disappointed as we were. Nonsmoking rooms smell like smoke and mildew. Toilet seat doesn't fit the toilet. Bathroom fan sounds like a jet engine failing. They have a breakfast area that suggests "breakfast is on them" , but this is not true. Everything about it screams poor to nonexistent maintenance and many things question how well rooms are cleaned. It gave that sense immediately walking in the room to the point the first thing we checked was for bed bug, didn't see any but it wouldn't have surprised me. Came for a one nighter brewer bouncing with friends, had I brought my family or need more than one night of stay - I too would have left.

Hotel is supposed to be non-smoking but the room smelled strongly of old smoke (and chemical scent) that made my eyes and throat burn. The bathtub was dirty as well. Disappointing.

This place is disgusting, they tried to charge me a 300 dollar deposit for there nasty room. And the lady in reservations did not know what she was doing. Horrible place will never stay there again, the rooms are nasty and have dirty towels.

  • 3/5 Andrew M. 2 years ago on Google
2.5 stars. Everything is pretty dingy. Smells pretty obviously like cigarettes. There was also a group of people partying in the room next to us not sure why they didn't space the guests rooms a bit more since the place wasn't very full. Not the worst but definitely in the bottom 5 that I'm remembering

Just arrived and the room smells like a shady motel. Can't get out fast enough to breathe 😮 Haven't seen the breakfast yet but we are here 2 nights and I'm already regretting this.

It was horrible. The rooms are bad. Every sheets has stains and isn’t cleaned at all. Our bathroom overloaded, the employees cleaned it with old towels from other room. They never suggested us to change room. Once we decided to change room, the room had still many stains on the sheets. We left this hotel to go somewhere else further for a day. We came back in this motel hoping it would get better, it was more worst. The room we got, had a centipede crawling on the bed and cockroaches in the room. We changed that room again, but now, the bathroom was disgusting. The air conditioning control was broken. Not to forget, the door key always did not work after few hours and had to change it. Once 2 of the key cards didn’t work for our room. The lady at the reception got mad, because i came to fix the card issue all the time. Overall, avoid this place even if it’s cheap. You will regret your experience there.

Not so pleasant experience... Room has a strong cigarette smell... Rug smells damp and dirty.... My daughter found weed(smoke) under the bed.... Stained towels..... Stained toilet bowl seat.... Just so much that I couldn't wait to leave the place! Never booking there again!

Building is extremely old, not taken cared of nor renovated, and stained, especially the bathroom. And the sheets are old and worn out. And don't even get me started with the pillows, they're literally square blobs that have no support clearly very old. You won't get good sleep. Staff couldn't even provide with alternative pillows. We checked out 3 rooms and all of them the bathroom was stained and the lighting just made it worse. Not worth the price, better to find an Airbnb nearby, we only went due to an emergency and was supposed to stay 5 nights but ended up staying one and then leaving.

  • 2/5 Nyssa S. 1 year ago on Google
Wasn’t that great if a stay. Some of the items in the room were damaged. The water pressure in that room was terrible and also the sink handle was broken so it slid up sideways. We went to check in and the lady took people that were behind us waiting first before us. She didn’t explain the policy’s or information. She wasn’t friendly at all she just said credit card and ID. And she gave us our card. The bed sheets had stains on them. In the corner. I’m guessing it’s from food. The guy at check out was super sweet and super nice. He helped process it very quickly and was helpful with everything. I won’t stay again.

Savan at the desk was friendly and very helpful with the many items I needed. Tub stopper, new converter, extra towels and a chair. I needed a new sheet to cover the very stained fitted sheet. The room could have been updated and needs more attention to detail as far as cleaning. The sheets and pillows which were mismatched need replacing. Thanks goodness tho for Savan to be there to assist me.

Very disappointed, I don't usually go out of my way to complain but sleeping with my head next to a moldy wall kinda ruins it for me. I woke up with a headache.. I went to take a shower and the bathtub was so warped it was like standing on the side of a cliff. The mini-fridge had so much slime i didn't feel great putting my drinks in it. I paid 250$ to feel sick and sleep next to mold.

First off, walking into lobby, the smell made me cover my nose. Smelled like one of those cheap deodorizers that you clip on your toilet. Would have walked out right there, but could not cancel as it was a reservation. The front desk had no idea where we could go get a bite to eat. Should be a directory in each room. The air conditioner smelled when turned on. Curtains were filthy. Pillows were so uncomfortable that I hardly slept...as was the bed. Place needed major repairs. I would have had the breakfast, but couldn't stomach the smell in the lobby. I observed that rooms were rented out as apartments and neighborhood was sketchy. Paid too much for too little! Never again

Arrived later than expected. Requests were addressed immediately. Really good breakfast. Super water pressure. Clean, spacious. Microwave, refrigerator with freezer section. Luggage rack, good trolleys. Quiet!

  • 1/5 Cassidy B. 2 years ago on Google
This hotel was so awful I wish I could leave ZERO stars. The lights are horrible. The tv and bedroom is very outdated. The shower curtain was falling off the wall. The king bed only had 3 pillows when I asked for one more I had to argue the desk lady for it. The pillow given to us did not have a pillow cover on it and it was dirty. Unfortunately my husbands wedding ring fell down the elevator opening when putting hand sanitizer on, so we asked the desk lady for some assistance and told us we are out of luck there is nothing we can do. The price we payed for the quality does not add up. I could go on and on about the poor service, quality, and overall shitness. DO NOT STAY THERE.

  • 2/5 Lou L. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed in Jan 2023, Staff was nice but the place needing some updating. The rooms are claimed to be “non smoke” but our room noticeably smelled of cigarettes, and old carpeting.. There was a burned hole on the bedsheets and the bathtub had some black mould going on… Free breakfast was OK, but could really use more options. Overall, the place should be updated and prioritize cleanliness a little more.
