First time staying in a hostel, and all i got to say is WOW!! Never staying at a over priced hotel ever again. The place was clean and extremely safe! Access key fob through out the property and cameras in common areas for the added security. Roof top patio to relax and enjoy the sun. I could go on and on. Definitely would recommend two peas!

Amazing experience! We stayed in the deluxe private room but they have other options such as shared rooms. Each of their pods were custom built and meticulously designed for comfort and functionality. Each pod features: premium memory foam mattresses; smart TV; headphones, bamboo pillows; charging station; personal fan; bed light, individual privacy screen & the door’s electronic keypad protected. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All facilities were super clean! When you find an amazing hostel, well located for an affordable price reflects a considerable value for money. Despite of being kinda used to staying in hostel, I never expected to have so much privacy and peace.

The staff there was fantastic, they were very helpful and supportive. My flight was later in the day, they gave us a storage container to put our luggage in even after check out. The pods are quite basic, they provide a thin blanket (quite cold during the winter) and towels for shower. All pods have a smart tv with YouTube, Netflix, etc. However, the internet connection for the TV was very slow, I was not able to get Netflix to connect. For storage, there are larger lockers (locks provided) for luggages and smaller lockers under the bed. They provide free breakfast at 8am to 11am everyday. Variety wise, expect coffee, juice, waffles, and bread. Cleanliness isn't a problem in the washrooms and social lounges. However, my blankets had stains around the bottom and there were hair on my pillow. I'm sure they washed them, but they could have spent more effort ensuring the new items doesn't contain any stains. Socializing is quite easy in this hostel, there's a lounge for food decorated with colorful paint and messages with plenty of seating. There's also a roof patio with the view of the skyline. In the patio lounge, there is a computer, printer, and games for entertainment. Overall, it was an interesting experience living in this hostel. Friendly staff and the clean environment contributed to a pleasant stay. Note that the doors are very loud, make sure you bring earbuds for a better sleep.

Clean and friendly hostel, the pods block out a lot of light but it can be a bit noisy because the rooms don't have doors but rather curtains. The breakfast was free, not anything special but edible. Biggest downside was that the bathrooms are all the way down stairs so if you have to go in the middle of the night you have to get all the way down there then climb all the way back up. Showers are amazing though so it makes up for it mostly

Friendly staff and great location... But I dont think I can recommend it, especially in the winter. I slept in the cabbagetown room... As you can see in the picture, heating ducts pass throught it. It makes the room uncomfortably hot, with no access to a thermostat. Also, the walls are paper thin...could hear someone coughing from the other room. And well, not horrible, but the bathrooms are 2 floors below. So for the $, I'm sure the hostel is fine. But don't bother with the private rooms!

Highly recommend this place, staff were super friendly, showed me around and explained everything. Beds are nice, place is kept super clean including bathrooms, only thing I could fault is nowhere to keep your clothes dry when your in the shower so i just dragged a stool in. 10/10 would stay here again next time I'm in Toronto! Affordable, clean and semi private for a hostel. Great work keep it up!

Fast smooth check in. Clean comfortable bed. Walking distance from tram stop which can take you nearly everywhere. Nice rooftop. Very secure place. Only breakfast was very poor. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a hostel in Toronto!!

Awesome concept for an hostel, affordable pricing, nice staff. Every pods have their own light and personal tv with Netflix. It actually feels like you have privacy. There's also a lock-secured space under the bed with plenty of space for a big suitcase and a bag. Included breakfast with a waffle batter dispenser (you make them yourself) which I found pretty neat. I'm definitely going back there whenever I have to travel to Toronto.

My best hostel's experience in Toronto ! The room are very clean, recent. The staff is lovely and do the house work properly. On top of that you have a big patio and barbecue, plus waffles on the breakfast 😍😍😍

I had an amazing stay. I loved the privacy curtain around my bed and waffles for breakfast. Henry, one of the staff, was super calm and helpful. I had just moved to Toronto so I had a lot to do and he was very kind in helping me out. Thanks for the chats and making me feel comfortable. Would totally stay here again.

They should get an extra star for excellent service! The beds are comfy memory foam. You get your own TV and your own outlet with 2 USB ports and 2 wall sockets. For the price I will definitely be coming back as I make many business trips to Toronto. It is a nice, clean place.

Why is it excellent? Great location also the staff are friendly which made the experiences enjoyable! Secondly, the beds are comfortable with privacy curtains & TV! Lastly, the place is really nice and clean which is why I believe this place is excellent! 100% will come back!

Fantastic place for the price and location... Lots of privacy and separate area for luggage storage. TV was a great touch although I was not around much to use it. Breakfast could use some more variety but not bad at all for a free breakfast. Staff was incredible, it was my first time at a hostel and Henri the front desk manager did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable checking on me throughout my stay, a fine young man with an old soul. Well done Two Peas! I will definitely be back next time I come to Toronto.

I DONT CARE WHAT ANY OF THESE OTHER REVIEWS READ ! THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!! So I spontaneously decided to take a trip to Toronto from California by myself. I've stayed here for about 5 days now and leave tomorrow. The hostel's doors close at 9pm for check in so they advise you to call in ahead of time if you will arrive anytime after that. Which I did with my flight having a few issues pushed my time of landing a little behind the woman on the phone told me to just ring the doorbell and someone will come check me in. There was a nice young lady who came down to help me set up and pay for my hostel reservation. This was at around 10pm but she was really polite and I felt like I was bugging her for showing up later but I had called and she was nice about it. She helped me get situated and explained the rules, where the bathrooms were, what time breakfast was served and everything. Because I stayed here for about 5 days there were people coming in and out of my pod and I didnt mind it one bit. Everyone was extremely friendly, the facility was kept very clean, and the showers were very high tech! I am definitely staying here again if I come around this way. And even if I come with a friend I will not allow us to get hotels but rather book here for the all around social experience that I've gladly encountered. It's the perfect combination of privacy and shared space too. I love it. Having the liberty of walking in and out whenever I desire, lay in bed with my curtain closed if I choose to do so, and they have televisions in the bed itself. Absolutely phenomenal!
