🫀 Very good location, but... Poor responsiveness of the owner, it was hard to figure out where the hotel was because there were no signs outside. We were told that check-in would be at 3 o'clock, in the end we waited for the owner for about 20 minutes in the corridor. The smell is terrible, the hotel... People often mention clean, room, good, stay, location, night, bathroom, house,

Very good location, but... Poor responsiveness of the owner, it was hard to figure out where the hotel was because there were no signs outside. We were told that check-in would be at 3 o'clock, in the end we waited for the owner for about 20 minutes in the corridor. The smell is terrible, the hotel is more like a dormitory where a family lives on the first floor and cooks food. We were given a small room (apparently because we stayed one night). The bed laundry was strange, the walls were cracked, very strong audibility due to the bad door to the room (which was not locked in the end). The bathroom is all covered in fungus with passive-aggressive "requests" on how to behave in it (as if I was under supervision in the army). Also it was pretty difficult to turn on the shower (cause probably the "push-up" button just refused to work, whatever). I could say it's a "sleepover" accommodation, but even in places like this you can at least minimally, but keep an eye on the premises. Don't want to book with Booking anymore, prefer to stay with Airbnb for the future.

Horrible "hotel". Owner is very cheap and wants you to pay in cash because he claims his credit card machine is down (it isn't, I told him I wanted it charged on our card and we got the confirmation of the charge that night). Wires are exposed on the porch, duct tape is his favorite way to fix broken items. There's mold in the shower and the entire house smells. You will have to share a bathroom. The front door lock has been repaired with duct tape (see the theme?) Security cameras have been duct taped to the outside walls (doubt they work). You have to call him when you arrive and wait for him to drive from his house to let you in. Do not recommend unless you desperately need a place to stay. Neighborhood is a little sketchy. I would give 0 out of 5 stars if I could. Does not look in real life like it is advertised online. Edit: I have read other reviews and am blown away from others experiences. We stayed at 4 other hotels during our trip which were excellent. The price reflects what you get so be warned.

Our experience here was unrivaled. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. The place was extremely clean and tidy with everything we could need including free coffee! The room had a homely feel and a lot of care and attention had clearly been given. We were very happy with out stay and would highly rwcommend this place. Worth noting is that it is difficult to tell that you've arrived as there is no sign on the door. Look for a note on the door instructing you to call a number with the provided phone when you arrive.

Very good location, very clean! It's just for sleeping, not for chilling. The owner is very kind and helpful. Less expensive than the other hotels in Toronto. I recommend it.

Stayed for 10 night with my partner. Deco is tacky but the room was clean and had a desk and wardrobe too. Really easy to find and has a convenience store around the corner. Great value for money over all. We enjoyed our stay in October.

It is a nice and clean place for visitors who want a great location with great rates. Owner was polite and offered good supports. Answered questions promptly even passed midnight.

The decor was very bizarre.. the other guests were not very respectful, noone cleans the bathroom. No contact other than text with the owner. Condoms and an opened pack of gum in our drawer, dried food on the blankets and tissue on our floor... the cleanliness is not up to par. If you're looking for a quick last minute place to stay like we were then it was okay but I would check around..

Wasn't expecting much based on some reviews I've seen, but was greeted by a friendly guy who asked for cash, said I don't have any and I paid him the next day. Room was pretty large and clean and the hotel 2as very quiet. Imagine it would be loud if there were more guests as the walls are quite thin. Really can't complain, especially for the money!

Many thanks to Lucas, he took care of me when I arrived at the house without a reservation or anything, he gave me a very clean, warm and cozy room. And then at check out time I did it almost an hour late and did not put me any problem and was at all times very very friendly although having to have the room ready and arranged for the following people. The location is perfect, in the heart of downtown and with entertainment places nearby to enjoy the nightlife of Toronto. The price is very good for everything you find in this city... quality price βœ…. Really impressed and totally grateful. Thanks again

Our room was at the first floor within the kitchen outside. It was so smelly and the towels and bed sheets they gave we're smelly too! Also the fridge, bathroom, and kitchen weren't so clean. Our room had a double bed and a single small bed. The single one was totally broken! The floor was really dirty but they asked us to take off our shoes which didn't make sense! Also they should have a policy for using the kitchen cuz they were people cooking at 3am while we were sleeping...... Anyways, i won't recommend this place at all for this beautiful city. Ps. The location was good I have to say.

Cancelled my order at the last minute through a mail saying my credit card isn't working.

Very great place, excellent location. Just to let current guests know that the oven doesn't work. We stayed for two nights and bought oven friendly dinners, would have been nice to know in the welcome email. Rooms are a little small, but overall not so bad, good for a budget friendly accommodation.

Great budget hostel option for a stopover night in Toronto. Brilliant location, easy walk to a number of good eateries in a few directions. Clean and comfortable beds, easy check in and check out, good communication with management, and excellent WiFi. The cleanliness of the shared kitchen and bathroom could probably be improved a little but it's a budget place and it really met all our needs for the one night we stayed there (family of four).

We had contact about our arrival before.Luke had waited in front of the house for us.We had to pay it cash, which we couldn't-so we arranged it the next day. The 3 bedroom was clean and also the washrooms. Decorated bizarrely but somehow fancy. The kitchen failed with a lack of cutlery and plates and pots & just everything. The first place ever with no rules -like signing your food ,for the fridge ....somehow strange

The place was another one of those hidden finds smack in the middle of Old TO. Amidst be the busy Spadina area an Airbnb is avail for a reasonable price.
