I stayed here back in June and it was just the perfect base to explore Toronto. The beds are comfortable, the showers are amazing and clean, the kitchen is well equipped (and there's always free bread and pb and jam), it's quite at night, but still centrally located. I can only recommend staying here!

Really unique hostel experience, very home-y and comfortable. It’s tiny (I think only two shared rooms and two private?) which is part of the chill factor. It’s located very near to Kensington Market (hip, great vintage shops) and Chinatown (terrific food scene) and a totally doable walk from some good bar stretches. Honestly, it’s about as close to downtown as you’d really wanna be. No cons to mention except that hostel classic- the beds are squeaky, so bring ear plugs. But honestly— just always bring ear plugs when you’re doing a shared room in a hostel. There are some really friendly/pleasant live -ins/neighbors and the proprietress is charming and capable. It’s a little gem.

This is a great hostel for those looking to meet people and find an affordable place to stay while on their travels. The hosts provide a lot of amenities and do a great job at making you feel comfortable. They also host a lot of super fun events and the location is within walking distance to many of Toronto's attractions.

Great place to stay when visiting Toronto! The place has a home like vibe (unlike many hostels I've stayed in) and hosts are super friendly. The kitchen is well equipped and the common area is huge. Thumbs up for great location and value for money.

Definitely will recommend this hostel. The location is very convenient, the place itself is very comfortable, clean and has a cheery vibe. The host was very helpful and prompt in her communication. All in all, very good value for money. Of course, as in a my hostel environment, use your own caution in protecting your belonging and carry a small lock. The hostel does have a locker area, so a lock would just give you peace of mind.

I didn't expect much before I got here but this place is such a vibe. Homey, it has everything you need, and it is clean! The price per night is great and I hope it stays that way. I know it will become more popular in days to come. I love the location too. Came to Toronto to watch a few gigs and I could walk to Lee's Palace, Hard Luck Bar, and Velvet Underground from here. It is near the best food joints downtown, you'll never go hungry. I miss it already. 🥴

I loved staying at Gosling's Landing. I thought the intimacy of the space was perfect for the type of traveler I am. The rooms were cozy and so clean ( as were the bathrooms!) and I loved the open air kitchen and living room space. I met a lot of wonderful people and the owner is amazing! Support female economies!

Very clean and cozy. Great location. The bathrooms are equipped with almost anything you might forget like shampoo or a hair dryer. Wengsi is also so sweet - it was my own mistake that I didn't get a solo room, but she was kind enough to offer one for my last night at no extra charge. I'd definitely stay again for my next trip.

Great hostel with a great location, you can walk from there or take the public transport in the nearest streets/avenues to the most popular places in downtown! Great vibe, clean and there's everything to feel like you are at home. I enjoyed all my time there. Wengsi is the best host!✨

Highly recommended. Very clean, very cosy vibes, well equipped kitchen. The owners might not always be around, but they are very friendly, helpful and responsive via text and email, and even occasionally drop in with special snacks for the guests. Proximity to Chinatown and various forms of public transport makes getting around the city very easy. It doesn't matter if you are a globe trotting grizzled goose, or a gosling taking your first tentative steps into the big world. You will feel right at home at Gosling's Landing.

I would definitely recommend having a stay at Gosling’s Landing! Except for being a clean, cozy place the hosts also make it have a feel-good environment where you really feel you’re taken care of. Plus great location and affordable prices. PS I loved these cute humorous instructions and tips in every corner of the hostel!

A Great Hostel!! I staid in the hostel for couple of days. It’s very ‘clean’ and ‘tidy’. Every single day, they cleaned up all areas. And they have various kitchen stuff(bowls, plates and so on), so I could make some simple food easily. The most important point is the location! It’s very close to authentic China town and the Kensington market! You guys don’t have to take a streetcar or a bus to go to those places. I highly recommend this hostel!!!

I would recommend this hostel to anyone, it is brand new and the layout of the place has been thought through to the smallest detail to provide the best experience for travelers. In addition, the staff is particularly kind and welcoming and quite available in case of any question or problem. For my part, I was also pleasantly surprised to have access to towel, locker, lunch and snacks at no additional cost. I even received help from the hosts to put me in touch with a real estate agent to move to Toronto. Wonderful stay at Gosling!

One of my favourite hostels I've ever stayed at! Amazing location, unique homely atmosphere and very reasonably priced. All of that has nothing on the staff though as they are incredible!! Loved my stay here and would highly recommend! Can't wait to visit again :)

Me and my brother stayed here during our weekend in Toronto. The place is perfect if you are just looking for a nice and cheap place to stay, close to the city centre. It actually feels as if you're staying at some one's place. There is an open space living room and kitchen and many stuff laying around that you may have forgotten to bring on your trip, that you are free to use. Such as hair dryers, umbrellas, irons and so on. Would definitely recommend for anyone who's just ok with a nice cheap place to stay. Oh yeah, and it was pretty quiet and super clean.
