We stayed in the opium den. It was divine. A unique & groovy mansion, with interior plaster work lovingly maintained, With so many rockin', kinky accents your Instagram may melt from the heat. The canopy bed was romantic and very comfortable. The shower room is a very beautiful experience. The terrace affords that rare opportunity to relax in the open air and enjoy a Canada Dry in its native environment. Kimonos and coffee are provided. And Tanya, the Owner, is delightful and you should know more people like her, you know? Your friends are a little boring, frankly

Love the eclectic style, but other guests decided taking a jacuzzi bath at 2 am when our room backed onto the bathroom was a good idea. You could literally see the springs in the mattress, not to mention the free breakfast that was no where to be seen.

A cool spot in my favourite neighborhood. The rooms were fun and wild, the owner is friendly and helpful. This is not a hotel, the house feels lived in and with lots of history. So much great stuff in walking distance. We had a lovely weekend.

You will absolutely love staying in the Darling Mansion. The location is prime to explore West Queen West and all the intimate local experiences. The mansion itself is ridiculously opulent in furnishing and there are a range of guest bedrooms that are rally comfortable. It is an older house with great character.

Wow! This Art themed boutique hotel nestled between two unparalleled neighbourhoods in Toronto (ie. Trinity Bellwoods. Little Portugal), is a gift to the city. Owner/curator Tanya Grossi has created something special here. Nearby Ossington Ave has become a foodie and fashion destination, and neighbours Pizzeria Badilali is considered the best in the city. Nearby Art galleries include MOCCA, OLGA KORPER, DANIEL FARIA and others. Eclectic to say the least but one great party venue!

Attended a private party and was impressed with this lovely venue. Thoughtfully decorated with a playboy mansion motive. I particularly loved the quaint private garden in the back.

Very interesting and quirky. Truly a unique experience in terms of aesthetic. Definitely should be seen by anyone touring in Toronto.

Fun and eccentric location nestled in the heart of the downtown core!! This place is a must-visit for locals and tourists who appreciate unique venues. =)

We came to stay for two nights, with some "unusual" requests, but the curatrix of The Darling proved herself to be one by accommodating us with noblesse oblige. Tanya made us feel at home away from home, like we have been friends for many years. Our trip to the city was a success because of it. Many thanks, Madame! We hope to come again.
