Cute coffee shop! There are a couple of tables and chairs, with outlets located at various spots in the shop. It’s a nice and quieter spot which I really enjoy. It’s also really well kept and clean which I love! I recommend coming here to study or work, or dropping by for a drink to go. The barista was very careful in creating our delicious handcrafted drinks that were so delicious! They offer a lot of options. They also have freshly baked bread and other baked goods, as well as coffee beans. Prices are reasonable to location!

This place was a hidden treasure! The staff were lovely and I really enjoyed my tea latte. It was a great atmosphere to set up your laptop and do some work. My only complaint would be that we went during lunch time and it didn’t seem like they were super well stocked on sandwiches at the time (a new tray came out later). Will definitely return when I’m in the area.

This Korean-owned coffee bar is relatively new. After locating to this area, it’s friendly and peaceful owner learnt that there would be no room for an outdoor patio. Instead, a sidewalk garden was erected in front of the door. If you’re looking for an outdoor patio for coffee, this is not the right place for you. Otherwise, this is a nice place for rainy and cold days, fantastic for winter time. The inside is elegantly and stylishly designed and decorated, with some minimalism being an apparent theme for this coffee shop. Great spot for a coffee!

2023 November 3.5★ A small, nice cafe that's locally run. This coffee bar sells an assortment of items not just coffee and tea. Here, you'll find some pastries (croissants, cookies, cake) as well as Shokupan bread. They do sell coffee beans as well. Large cappuccino $4.85 Done nicely. Though the coffee itself was ok. Certainly can taste the melodies of cranberry and the bitterness of the coffee, but it was ok. More of an acquired taste you'll find in many local shops. Genmai tea Latte $5.75 If you're looking for something light, this is it. Could faintly taste the tea. The milk was nicely made, but really mellowed the tea. The tea bags look like a custom sized tea bag. Looks like they fill it up themselves. I would pass on this only because there's very little flavor. Tables for about 15 at most

First thing's first, amazing service - genuinely impressive how fast and friendly the one person behind the counter was getting through the midday rush. Flat white made with ristretto so you know they know what they're doing. Great tea options, a toffee caramel latte that's perfectly balanced, and the best ham and cheese croissant I've had in a very long time. Will definitely be back and returning and would highly HIGHLY recommend.

I went in to have a nice sip of coffee in warm indoors and ordered a flat white. The serving staff was friendly and nice. The drink came out quickly and I sat at the window side to do my work and study. I liked the Latte art. It was unique and looked like it required good skill. The taste was smooth and nice flavor. The cage was pretty quiet with lot of people just coming to work or study. I enjoyed my stay as well.

The seating area is okay for studying long hours. Most chairs aren't way too comfortable but a couple are okay and comfy. Kitchen noises may be a bit loud depending on where you sit. Drinks are a bit pricey but sizes are relatively large.

Great Americano coffee at a reasonable price, perfect setting for doing work remotely or meeting up with colleagues to do work. Friendly café service in a convenient downtown location.

Enjoyed the peach 🍑 tea and matcha 🍵 latte. Lovely, fresh and light on a hot summer day. Piedmont had a strikingly refined and courteous family providing awesome service.

My go to coffee shop in Toronto. It's not the cheapest but their coffee tastes incredible! Their hot and iced mochas are my favourite. The barista with the manbun is very friendly and will answer all your questions, I only go when he is there. The other baristas make milky coffees from my experience. Their beans taste great too.

Chill and cozy cafe with plenty of seats. We ordered a matcha latte and a vanilla latte, and I must say that I’m impressed with the latte art! Seems like a great place to hangout with friends or get some work done, will visit again:)

A friendly coffee shop with peaceful atmosphere. Those who love "Cortado", will appreciate the balanced flavor, and the "latte art" is impeccable (probably the most consistent I have seen in downtown). As many said already, a hidden gem and I strongly recommend the "strawberry roll cake".

came here on a saturday morning and everything was nice and simple. i enjoyed sitting in and it’s a perfect place to study. i got a matcha latte and ham and cheese croissant. there might be a bit of a wait since it’s only 1 or 2 people working but definitely not for those in a rush for morning coffee. quality is 10/10

I ordered a double shot espresso and an almond chocolate croissant. The espresso has very bright and delicate acidity and a rounded body. Very delightful. The croissant was also good. Would definitely revisit again. One of the best in the community.

their coffee is always delicious. they also have some food(baked goods). I ordered croissants several times too but it’s not always freshly baked. I love croissants which are baked today. So I confirm with a staff whether it’s baked today or yesterday. He always answers “Yes. Baked today” However, Obviously it’s not always true. I was so disappointed at his lie and stop going to this shop.

This place is a gem. I enjoyed the matcha latte with beautiful pattern and also the croissant is not bad either.

A cozy spot with great ambiance - my favourite coffee shop to break away from the work-from-home routine and come sit with a laptop for a couple hours. The staff is very friendly, helpful and brought coffee directly to my table. Always great coming back here. Cappuccino and almond croissant are my favourites!

I ordered a flat white and its the best I’ve had in Toronto so far. It didn’t have any burnt or overly bitter tones to it like the other cafes. For a milk-based drink, it didn’t feel too heavy either. I also ordered a croissant with ham and cheese. It seemed a bit expensive at first glance but it’s so delicious and filling that I’d consider it more a meal than a snack. The ambience is warm and bright. It’s perfect to get some work done on a weekday and meet some friends on the weekend.

Good espresso, for people who love “real” espresso. I like the bittersweetness of cortado coffee. The cortado at Piedmont was very good 👍🏽

One of few authentic coffee places in Downtown Toronto. High quality coffee made and served by people that have true coffee passion. The place is very cozy not loud and not boring quite too, good balance. I am ensure you will enjoy it as we did.

Consistently good coffee typically medium roast and below. Hugely superior takes on Sturbucksesque seasonal lattes. Interior is very clean, bright, and pleasant, with metal chairs and stools that arent extremely comfortable but are appropriate for a public space. Clean and spacious accessible bathroom. Great house blends and single origin, limited but tasty goods and sandwiches, and cool specialty bakes such as Japanese Shokupan (pictured)

flat white was on the weaker side, but it was still really good. i had mine with almond milk (which some baristas sometimes struggle with), and it turned out great - also cheaper compared to other places. cute space too, it was lovely to work in. friendly staff as well!

Nice place! Enjoyed their london fog on a cool rainy day. Would recommend as a place to study or do work as well.

Excellent coffee made with great care. There’s no slapdash coffee here; the barista measured the coffee and cleaned off the ground coffee from the bag with a brush - that’s attention to detail!

Excellent coffee and a lovely selection of teas! Plus the best croissant I’ve had in a while and a lovely atmosphere.

Great place with a cute inside. The flat white was a little lukewarm but next time I’ll ask for extra hot!

Personal favourites from here are for sure the French vanilla latte; hot or cold as well as the brunch that they serve here. This small cafe offers the best drinks around, lattes come with designs and the coffee NEVER tastes burnt. If you’re looking for a quick, healthy & good meal, Piedmont is also your one stop shop for the above ! They won’t disappoint. :)

Pretty chill, clean and vibe spot. Got interesting latte variations available. The only thing is when I went they ran out of oat milk :( Good amount of seating for doing work.

The drinks are so well made and the flat white was so good. One of the better coffee shops in Toronto but in a little bit of a hidden location. The atmosphere is nice and perfect for studying with big tables and free wifi.

Great cozy atmosphere, clean, friendly staff. I only tried the almond chocolate croissant, which was fairly standard and nothing special, but the toast looked interesting! The English toffee latte was also delicious, and just the right amount of sweet, in my opinion.

Stopped in for coffee, I’m so glad I did! Japanese milk bread and a vanilla late both very yummy

Good coffee. You will not meet a nicer cafe owner than Daniel. He always seems to be there! Independently owned, and it tells with its offerings. Not another chain or franchise business. Best in the area. What sets this place apart is their baked goods. Made on site I believe, all the baked goods are great, but their scones are a whole other level. So light, fluffy and airy, melt in your mouth stuff.

Such a nice little café! The staff are so nice. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items. They have really interesting latte flavours too! I like to go to get a bit of work done because the place is quiet and has a good amount of outlets.

I love this little place. Staff are friendly, the De mello coffee is great and made consistently well. Calm gentle atmosphere. There are 2 espresso places close by but this place wins out by far. It’s become my regular place when I’m in the area.

Just got coffee from here and it was fantastic! A very calm and nice atmosphere. The service was great and very convenient for takeout as well. Would come here again! 4 stars!!

Cute little cafe that serves decent coffee and pastries. The flat white was smooth though could be stronger on the espresso front. They also have an appetizing list of Japanese shokupan but only for pre-order. The ambience was cozy and airy. Morning service can be quite busy.

Espresso i’ve tried was really like in Italy. For sure, one of the best coffee places in Toronto, i will try to visit more often now :)

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Great place to study or work since it's cozy, calm, but not empty. It may be a bit pricey, but it's worth it. They have interesting types of lattes, and they sell Japanese bread which always smells delicious even from the outside of the the coffee shop. Service is great, very polite and they carefully make your coffee-- I can tell they care about their work. The space is very clean and its a very cute looking place. Overall, wonderful spot.

I had an amazing experience at this Coffee Bar. Its proximity to my university is a huge plus, making it a convenient spot for a quick coffee break. The vanilla latte I tried was amazing, and the ambiance with great music added to the charm. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was the cafe's size, which isn't too big, and I struggled to find an outlet to charge my notebook. Nonetheless, it's a cozy place for coffee lovers.
