Why didn't we find this place sooner?!?! This is our fave spot for an americano now! The vegan churros with their dulce de leche is worth the trip for us, and the empanadas are fantastic! The staff are warm and friendly, and the music is wonderful and playful. Thank-you, Luis & Vivian!

Wow another amazing arepa spot to add to the list of great food in the danforth area. The food was spectacular. I tried the breakfast arepa which consisted of eggs chorizo and cheese packed generously into the arepa. There coffee was also top notch. The food is always a great reason to keep me coming back but the owner was so friendly and welcoming. For this reason alone I will be coming back. Keep doing amazing things Luis your business will continue to grow and get loyal customers.

The food was good and I enjoyed the service from the staff. I was very impressed at the price to quality ratio of the food. It's hard to find somewhere that you can get away for under $30 for this level of food. Would definitely return hers.

Visited randomly on a saturday morning at 930 and loved it. I got the horchata latte iced and the breakfast arepa. so. good. They even provided sauces to dress up the arepa more. It also just had a very peaceful but cozy atmosphere.

Staff kindly explained the dishes to this country bumpkin and I enjoyed my gluten free chicken (sous vide) salad sandwich (arepa) and lemonade. I ate inside and the service was great.

I thought I don't like arepas, until I came here... And I even upped the challenge by getting only vegetarian (or vegan?) ones for my family, and both flavours were amazing! Also, the fruit smoothie were really great too! Very refreshing!!

DELICIOUS food, friendly staff. Breakfast arepa and Flores are my favs - amazing and very filling... messy but sooo good. Big fan of the poblano scones and guava and white cheddar scones, too. Wash it all down with a Frescolita. Update Oct 2022: they now have tons of indoor seating! Really cool area in the back. Oh, and they have Rorschach Brewery beer. So good.

Everything about Pomarosa is so thoughtful and beautiful! The pastries are all made in house and the sauces that come with the arepas are so delicious and made from scratch at the restaurant as well. The arepas were all so delicious, and they had lots of vegetarian options as well. For your sweet tooth, you have to try their alfajore, which is Pomarosa's unique take on a traditional Argentinian cookie. 😉

I don’t know what arepas are, but they smell good. Extremely good espresso coffees made with pride, fresh ground to order with a full and balanced flavour. Will return here for coffees and treats to this friendly and up-and-coming neighborhood. ✔️

Food was delicious. Coffee was great. Staff were super friendly. Service was a little slow. But that could also be because I had somewhere to be at a certain time. Overall, I would recommend and would go again if I’m in the area.

Worth a special trip to come here. Impressive, careful selection of delicious and unique take out and pantry/freezer stuff. But also incredibly comfortable and pleasant (but not speedy) dine-in experience. Cocktails, smoothies, barista specials, snacks, meals, desserts -- menu includes delightful veg and vegan accommodations. Everything prepared super fresh.

Extremely delicious and filling arepas in a nice restaurant with friendly staff. I'm very glad that I decided to stop into this place and will definitely be back. Only complaint would be that the food is a little messy so be careful when eating. But the taste more than makes up for any spills.

An unexpected gem of a restaurant just east of Greek Town, this place serves authentic South American sandwiches, snacks and drinks. The wait staff was friendly and efficient, and fluent in Spanish. The food was delicious. The restaurant was cozy and bright. I will definitely go back there again.

Pabellon Arepa - comes with fried plantains, frijoles, cojita cheese and some marinated beef. Beef was juicy but a little too tough, but they pile it high on top. The frijoles were not a bad addition to make each bite more significant, and the plantains provided a nice sweet balance but I felt there wasn't enough and was the best part of the the arepa. The arepa was top heavy and towards the end the filling to arepa ratio became too diminished. Also, the arepa was quite soggy and lost its crispy, crumbly texture, most likely due to geting takeout.

Pomarosa never disappoint. Each item (that I have tried) on their menu is absolutely delicious. I have only been there for lunch but it seems that they also offer coffee and some breakfast options. Bonus point : it is child friendly with Ikea high chairs and a special dish for babies and toddlers.

Great spot for lunch or dinner! While the sandwich looked small compared to the plate, the taste and filling amount justifies the price. Great local beer available too.

Lovely cozy ambience. Our server was incredibly helpful, polite, and attentive. The columbian hot chocolate was heavenly.

always fresh and really hits the spot! the eat-in area is nicely decorated with hanging plants. have liked most of the arepas I've tried here. though when I've taken it to go, there ends up being a lot of juices/sauce at the bottom making it pretty messy to eat. drinks are pretty good too - love getting the horchatas here alfajores are another staple. they sell them in nice boxes as well.

Amazing! Delicious food, generous portions, perfect flavors. Sweet or salty dishes are carefully done with original recipes. Try some and you will agree with me. The only place to find the passion fruit marshmallows and the alfajores. I wish i could come every day for a perfect meal. Don't miss this

Lots of flavor in the Pabellón and Pork Carnitas but the star of the show was the Cheese and Guava Empanada with a sweet and savoury filling. Just perfect👌🏻😋

The Rosa Latte is the best latte I’ve had in Toronto by far. Not too sweet and there’s a subtle taste of rose petals in the drink, absolutely divine! I ordered the Reina (which is a sandwich with avocado, tomatoes and sous vide chicken) and that was delicious as well! I loved the crunchiness of the bun. I highly recommend this dish. They’re really generous with the portion of chicken, it was almost too much meat for me. Staff were also friendly, the place was well maintained and I loved the interior design of the restaurant- pink, modern and plants were all around, hanging down from the ceiling. There are two options once you enter the restaurant: Seat yourself and a staff will bring you the menu to order or pay at the front first and then seat yourself (we did the latter). They’re losing a star as my spouse and I both waited at least 25 min for the drinks and food. I understand it was a busy day but at least giving us the drinks first would have been nice so we weren’t just sitting there staring at each other.

Some of the best coffee in the area!! Everyone was super kind and helpful with my dairy and gluten allergy. Tons of gluten and dairy free items! Both of the gluten free pastries were amazing, and both of the empanadas I had were delicious. Can’t wait to try the arepas when I’m looking for lunch or dinner. Great outdoor space as well with big umbrellas.

Amazing Latin American focused, east-end cafe. The arepas are tasty! All food was very good and fresh. Staff are super friendly and the service is great. I met the owner's too and they were incredibly kind. Check this location out and support local business!

Very cute Latin coffee. Love their cheese & guava empanada (and now have packs to bring home!) and their Alfajores. Haven’t tried the rest of their menu, but looking forward to it.

First time trying this coffee shop and I will definitely be back! I ordered a cortado with a guava & cheese scone. The coffee was fresh and tasty, and the scone was heavenly; had I known one of my favourite desserts could be turned into a scone, I would have come here sooner!

Well I can say definitely I agree this place has probably the best Latin food I have had in the city. The flavors of orange and espresso really came through in the pork marinade of the carnitas and made the pork loin flavourful yet lean. A true feat. The chipotle lime crema is something I want to bottle up and put on anything and everything. The bun for me was great even though not typical for me or particularly flavourful, it definitely served the purpose of keeping the sandwich from being soggy. I have say the portion was very generous in my opinion and it definitely hit the spot on flavour and size was perfect. I also tried a guava and cheese scone which was delicioso and well balanced flavors of the intense sweetness of the candy like guava and the savory cheese and the non overpowering scone dough. If doing takeout I highly recommend perhaps 15 seconds in a microwave to have a lighter texture of the scone but I ate half without the microwave and was more than happy. Overall great food, quick service and I will return shortly.

Cafe was good but the attention was not the best. The cashier was not too polite. Like she was angry with her job. NO good customer service skills
