This place has the BEST pastries and cookies that I have had in Toronto and I am not exaggerating. The chocolate chip and pecan cookies and the scones are so delicious it's ridiculous! I haven't tried the coffee but the lemonades are great and refreshing and the staff is always super friendly! I'm so happy you guys are located there! I just wish it was open earlier to grab a coffee before work :)

Had to line up for ~10 mins on a Saturday morning but it was worth the wait! Once you order, the service is very fast. The staff were very welcoming and genuine. The vegan blueberry scone and cappuccino were delicious - will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. As an added bonus: I had my dog with me and they gave him a small liver treat!

Well, I ordered a medium latte lactose free & chocolate croissant, the coffee was perfect! I love lattes that tastes more coffee instead of milk and this one was beyond my expectations, the strong coffee favor was delicious, the croissant and the other hand was good too I was a little dissatisfied because I felt is small but the chocolate and the butter favor are exceptional. Unfortunately I had to wait around 10 min in line :(

Came here for coffee and a blueberry scone. Short lineup to the window for ordering but it was a cold day. Drip coffee was perfect. I got the dark roast. My partner got a cappuccino was a little more creamy than I expected and neither of us liked it. The scone I ate the next day reheated in my toaster oven. The outside was hard, which I expected with the reheat, but the inside will still a little doughy/sticky and slightly underbaked. The flavour was nice but I would not purchase it again.

Out of this world lattes and scones! They also have decaf options. Highly recommend for your morning pick-me-ups. Long lineup was a bit discouraging at first, but it was worth the wait.

Simply one of the best coffee on the go in Toronto. I suggest you to try the blueberry scone because it's one of the most crunchy and delicious I ever tasted.

Great local spot. Serving through a 'Dutch door' now due to Covid. But always friendly and great coffee options. Also, great food items to go. Parking is limited so plan ahead on side streets, etc. Support local!

A great place to pick up your morning or any time coffee and pastries. The coffee is tasty and the staff serve you with this amazing energy who leave you with a smile on your face. I can see why there is a long line up in the morning but don’t let that put you off as it goes down quickly. They also have treats for your dog! Bonus!

I wake up every morning dreaming of their coffee and i know my dogs wake up every morning drooling over their liver treats. You’ll see a lengthy lineup at all hours that they’re open and at any time of the year. Yes - dead middle of a winter snowstorm you’ll see dogs, strollers and coffee enthusiasts waiting in line outside. It is always worth it because of their coffee and service. I know their coffee is good but how are the staff always so damn happy and friendly ?? Check out their ig stories for entertaining public announcements.

The rumors are true: The scones are incredible—but the vibes are even better! There’s something about not letting weird customer vibes into your personal space (I.e., window service only) that seems to keep such a good energy flowing behind the counter. Let yourself be happy! Dog watch in line! Get a scone! (All flavors 10/10)

My favourite place in the neighbourhood! I don’t even like blueberries but that blueberry scone is OUT OF THIS WORLD! In the summer the lemonade is also AMAZING! Always such a positive experience. There is usually a line up but that’s because it’s SO GOOD! All of my family members from out of town have us stop by when they’re visiting because they love it too! 💕 20/10!

Amazing coffee shop with great people working there. Purchased a couple latte’s for myself and my co worker, went back to my truck and it slid off the hood onto the ground. Was a very sad moment, so I went back to get another one. The amazing staff replaced my latte free of charge, and told me it was gravity’s fault. Highly recommend this place, not only for the products they sell.. but for the people they employ. 10/10

Great coffee, amazing baked goods. There is a line and everyone looks so excited to be there. Even dogs! They have free dog treats that the pups go crazy for. I was expecting it to be dine in, but it was take out only. The most buttery and delicious scone ever.

First time at this place and i got 2 croissants and a cookie...my only regret is that i didn't buy more. The croissants were fresh, tender inside and crispy outside with a nice golden color. The cookie was greate and i love that they use dark chocolate chips. Next time I'll be in the area i will go again.

I have passed by this coffee shop for several years and have always seen a line up. Today, I decided to pull over and grab an oat milk mocha. The staff are very friendly and my mocha is delicious. Now I understand the line up every day. I’ll be be back.

Great coffee and baked goods. Fresh and full of flavourful. Kind, welcoming and friendly staff. Get there early to grab your morning croissant.

Very cute little door that serves coffee. Very friendly folks there, serving gratis dog treats if you have a 🐕. Dogs love it! Coffee, cortado, is excellent, flavor, texture. It could be a bit hotter, a bit more foam, less dense. 4$ (CND), well priced, but the drink is very small. Disappointing but ok. It is a good coffee. Croissant was excellent as well. Not too sweet, not dry. Stiff and fresh, flaky add expected. 3.5$ is good price as well. No parking, no WC, a scruffy bench if you really want to sit, but nobody does. A dog water bowl if your 🐕 is thirsty. No view, just traffic cars, noise. Definite pickup and keep going coffee.

The staff are always super friendly, and the coffee is decent (not really any better than that...) but the experience is what takes away points for me. The opening hours are very inconvenient, service is glacial slow for it being staffed by two people, and if thier bench is occupied by other customers you have to walk at least a couple blocks to have anywhere to enjoy your drinks/baked goods. Again, nice folks, but not an overall wonderful experience.

The long line up at Hunter Coffee Shop on Vaughn Rd. early on a Saturday morning tells you all you need to know. This was one of the greatest espresso shots I’ve ever had. Congrats to Hunter Coffee for delivering such an excellent experience. I will be back.

We stopped and grabbed cold brew and turmeric iced coffee - both were very refreshing. Very good coffee and nice selection of yummy baked goods. Charming people running this place totally made our day ;)

Some of the best coffee in Toronto with wonderful staff and tasty pastries as well. Very popular with local dogs (thanks to treats!). Lineup can be long at peak times but it moves relatively fast. I love having Hunter in this neighborhood.

Favourite coffee shop! I walk by many others on st clair and go out of my way to visit this one. BEST customer service. If you're having a bad day just go visit this shop for a vanilla latte and a blueberry bran muffin and I guarantee you'll feel better. They are so sweet and Im so grateful were lucky enough to have them in our neighbourhood!

New to this neighbourhood and *so happy* to have this wonderful coffee shop in an otherwise all-residential stretch of Vaughan Rd. Their coffee is good (have only tried the drip coffee so far) and the baked goods are phenomenal. The scones are so good and I was delighted that their chocolate croissant was not unnecessarily dusted with icing sugar which I think is overkill on a chocolatine. The staff were very friendly too. The hunt for a local coffee shop is successful and ends right here!

I'm not sure where to start. Coffee and pastries are stellar. Service was kind and friendly. Patrons in line also very friendly. Great sense of community. I can continue ;)

Super friendly staff. Wonderful pastries and coffee. An authentic oasis in the middle of a neighborhood that lacks good places to eat.

I was in town visiting my daughter today and she took me here for a quick stop as we started our day out. I had the best gluten free muffin I’ve ever had, the lemonade she had raved about was well deserving of all the raving, and the latte was perfect. The staff made the visit absolutely delightful while being fast and efficient at the window and I plan on making this a regular stop whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

Great coffee, best baked goods, and a superstar team of baristas who actually want to see you. I’ll never forget when the team was belting out Cher’s Believe - made me want to work there!

Just fell in love with this local coffee shop, friendly and polite staff. Tasty Pastry and fresh coffee. Only open limited hours and no indoor/outdoor seating. Always a line up in the morning (when you know it's that good!). Daily specials: donuts and scones. Grab a coffee to go and take a walk with your friend in the neighborhood. Will be coming back every Saturday

The coffee was really great and you may be surprised by the vegan zucchini muffin... I know I was! It was moist and delicious.

We recently moved to the area and were so grateful to discover such a wonderful coffee shop within walking distance. The coffee and pastries are amazing and they are also so friendly to both humans and dogs. We love them!

👍👍 Visited here a few years ago. And recently back to have breakfast again! It is a lovely space filled with nostalgia of old-school deli and restaurants. They have a large indoor dining room, and outdoor patio. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, they are situated on the very busy University Ave...
