One of the best cafes in the city for pastries, tea lattes and coffee. The strawberry mochi is just a simple and indulgent bite that everybody should try at least once. The croissant was filled with yuzu cream. The matcha late was also amazing, I’d recommend going low on the sugar and let the pastries balance it all out 👍

Cute little cafe, I didn’t tried the pastries, but I tried their tiramisu latte and it was delicious. I enjoyed it very much. If I was closed by I probably would have that latte almost every day 😋 The lady that took our order was very nice, and very friendly.

Unpopular opinion, but the croissants are just an Instagram trick. The cream filling lacks quality. It's a cheap imitation. Tastes like essence laden frosting. Nothing rich. The cook is uneven, no taste of butter. Flakey but, not in a good way. It left an unpleasant taste in my mouth that I had to find something else to eat. They don't look as good as well. For a little over 10$ a croissant 🥐, I'll pass.

We had lunch in the area Saturday then stopped here for a coffee and dessert. Interesting take on croissants with the square shape! Tasted great and not too sweet. We had a pistachio flavoured croissant as well which was just as good. I had the tiramisu latte which I enjoyed. We will try their other sweets next time.

I was driven here by the viral cube croissant, but have kept coming back because of the tiramisu latte. I will admit that the cube croissant was nothing but gimmick, and not worth a repurchase … however the tiramisu latte is the. Best. Coffee. I have ever had. It comes with what I believe is a mascarpone foam and ladyfinger cookie which is so divine that I make the 45 minute drive from the east end to get it. Try it - you won’t regret!

Not worth the visit and price! Instagram made me want to taste them because square and round croissants became popular around the internet. I tried the square matcha raspberry croissant, pistachio wheel croissant and the black sesame seed croissant. First of all they were not flaky at all like a croissant should be, so I don’t know if it’s just a different dough or if they were not fresh and maybe from the day before. The cream inside is waaaay to runny so when you open it in half it becomes just a big mess! The flavor of the creams were ok, best one was the pistachio but totally off with the texture. The mess they make is annoying. I am a foodie and a total sweet addict, tried croissants in many places around Canada and Europe. A croissant should be flaky and with a custard or a kind of cream inside that is firm enough to not run out as if it is lava! I did not like the taste of the black sesame cream but that is just my personal taste. I tried their matcha latte, it was good, just a regular matcha nothing special. For these 3 croissants and 2 matcha lattes the price was a bit over 40$! Over priced and honestly will not visit again. I will bring my money in a French bakery and not spend it on something that is only good for an Instagram picture that will cost you quite a bit.

Recently had my birthday, and my roommate got me a strawberry shortcake (my favourite kind of cake, so I've had quite a few!) This one in particular was really good and light! They wrote a birthday message to me on a delicious cookie, and the cake was the perfect ratio of cream and cake. I also picked up an iced latte to-go, which tasted really smooth and lovely. I love the atmosphere of the cafe, makes good use of its cozy space. Will definitely have to come back for some mochi or a croffle!

Cute interior, but the small space and loud music made it less enjoyable. Tried the Tiramisu Latte, found the taste a bit odd with a noticeable cherry flavor—didn’t quite hit the mark for me. My partner ordered a London Fog, but it was overly sweet.

Overall pretty good. The sweets can sometimes be a hit or miss, but are mostly tasty and sweeter. The cashiers are kind and polite with some seating in the back. I would come again just to taste their new products though!

Nice place with very reasonable prices compared to other coffee shops in the area. The latte I ordered was good, but there is limited seating and no washroom available for customers. The atmosphere could be more warm and inviting, but despite the lack of space, there is potential.

The latest in a series of bakeries that have gone viral - this one for the cube croissant. I tried the hazelnut cube and the strawberry with whipped cream croissant (pictured). The cube was meh. The strawberry one was quite nice - the quality of the croissant itself added to it. For me personally though, it was nothing special and I doubt it I’ll make the trek all the way to this spot again.

I really like the idea of this place and the baristas clearly take their job seriously, meticulously measuring the coffee (they literally removed a quarter teaspoon of coffee to get the grams right on) and the baked goods are Instagram worthy and tasty, but there were a few things that would prevent me from going back. First of all, it’s hot and small inside, meaning that you’re likely ordering to go. That said, specialty orders (I got a hojicha latte and a Hokkaido-style latte) take a long time to make and the baked goods don’t pack super well. It’s also quite pricey. While the croissants are beautiful (following the trend of fillings, multi-colours and funky flavours), they are expensive, costing $6. I didn’t try the cakes, but the strawberry mocha was also about $3.75 a piece. Finally, while the workers clearly care about their craft, they aren’t super warm opposed to other coffee shops in the neighbourhood. This place is best if you’re looking to pick up a few fancy croissants and some creative Japanese drinks to impress some friends, otherwise it’s probably more cost effective to head to one of Kensington’s other coffee shops.

Very pretty pastries! There was a line out the door when I visited around noon! My favourite is definitely the basque burnt cheesecake and the pistachio blueberry tart. The cheesecake was incredibly creamy and the sweetness level was perfect. I tried the raspberry matcha croissant as well but wasn’t a huge fan personally as the matcha was really overpowering, but the pastry was quite flaky and well made. The strawberry daifuku was also delicious and a must-try if you’re a fan of strawberries and red bean!

Small cafe in Kensington with incredibly delicious and unique pastries! Even at 5pm they still had lots which is normally uncommon among popular bakeries where thing sell out in the morning. Everything looked delicious but we settled for the matcha croissant cube and it did not disappoint. First of all, it is quite hefty and probably at least 2 regular croissants worth. Super tasty, light flavourful matcha cream that they did not skimp on and not too sweet. Croissant texture was still delicious too. Definitely want to come back to try more things and as it’s worth the price point!

Stumbled upon this café and had to go in when I saw their sign advertising their Croissant cube! I'd never heard of a cube shaped Croissant before so I had to try it! Other than its shape and impressively large size, nothing else about it was special. It tasted like a yummy Croissant (as expected) and was soft with the flaky layers inside. It was a fun experience and the matcha latte was tasty. They also do latte art on hot chocolate! I probably wouldn't get the Croissant cube again because it was pricey but once was worth it for the experience and I would definitely visit the café again.

i got a matcha tiramisu latte and a strawberry shortcake for about $14. a bit pricey but understandable for its location. the matcha tiramisu latte was delicious. it was already at a moderate sweetness and the extra lady finger pairs very well with it. the shortcake was small but very tasty. i wish it was bigger or cheaper but it was nice to try it. the place itself is also small but is decorated very nicely and has seating for 6 people inside. they have a lot of croissants so i will come back to try one of those. the service was good even during their rush. tip your servers!!

cute cafe with lots of pastries and drink options they have the wheel and cube croissants which are really pretty but very difficult to eat 🤣 their mango mochi is also very fresh and juicy!

Lovely place to get some nice Japanese themed coffee/desserts. Very tiny spot, so probably need to find a spot outside or take it to go. Definitely a must see spot in Toronto.

I went to this place to try the viral crossiants. We had ordered the chochlate and pistachio one. I personally liked the chocolate. Honestly I was little disappointed by the taste. I would not recommend the pistachio one.The croissants werent as flaky as I was expecting. The filling was little too watery . Its gud for one time try.Not worth the money.

The space was small but gorgeous. Great location. The staff were wonderful very friendly. Croissants are way too expensive. $12 for the cubed almond one. Super inconvenient to eat, little taste, very hard. Coffee was also really expensive.

Cute little cafe located near the Kensington market. We came for the croissant cube and it did not disappoint. I ended up choosing the black forrest croissant cube; the cherry flavor was very prominent and the chocolate filling was amazing. I also got a chai latte but was not very impressed, it was watery and not have a strong chai flavor at all. Although when near the Kensington again I will probably come back for the other pastries, they all looked very good.

Love the croissants from here. The chocolate hazelnut one is so far my favourite! Also ordered a latte which was good too. Small waiting area but this cafe is a great place if you’re looking for unique pastries. Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu

Viral Croissants! Honestly, they're as good as they look. The matcha cream wasn't TOO matcha-ey, still so soft and creamy. The Raspberry on the inside gave it the perfect sweetness. The pastry is TO DIE FOR. Strawberry filled Croissant was my favourite. I was surprised at how the Croissant pastry was still so perfect but the cream and strawberries were fresh, perfectly sweet. It almost gave Strawberry Shortcake flavour. My boyfriend loves chocolate croissants and he said it's the best Croissant he has ever had. SUPER CRAVABLE!!! Definite recommend / will come back to try more!

A very cute storefront in the Kensington market. I was served very quickly upon entering the store - fortunately there wasn't much of a line. I purchased the croissant "wheel". The pistachio filling was very good and not overly sweet. I put one less star since the actual croissant tasted a bit stale - but that might have been because it was the end of the day when I ended up buying the croissant.

  • 5/5 Lily S. 7 months ago on Google
Atmosphere gets a 4* just because this place is super tiny, just a little storefront but they make it work! Great selection of alllll croissants to choose from and I'm so happy I finally got to try the pistachio croissant and the chocolate square croissant, but the strawberry and cream one that I didn't plan on getting was such a delightful surprise. They were all super fresh and delicious and so worth the trip to Kensington Market!!!

I would totally give this place 5 stars for the service and the quality of their food and drinks... IF they didn't make me wait 20 mins for a ritual order for pickup that was supposed to be ready at the time set on the app. I didn't complain there but if they accept ritual orders these should be priority because they know that the app has a set time for pickup. You should also have different coffee sizes! Their sweets are very tasty and the coffee is amazing, I fully recommend!

What a cosy & busy spot for baked goods and coffee. Absolutely loved their tiramisu iced coffee. However their baked goods were finger-licking good. Well done team Little Pebbles. We will be back for more!

Great cafe. Cool different types of pastries. It's not what you get in a normal cafe. There was only one person making the drink so there was a little bit of a wait. It got cleared pretty quickly. The pastries were pretty good and the cappuccino was good.

This place is a bit small and cramped, and a bit awkward to eat at. But the square croissant was worth it. Oh my. The inside had so much delicious cream and chocolate, the outside super crispy buttery and covered in almonds and powdered sugar. YUM! Worth every penny!

It is a perfect place to have a long breakfast ✨ My husband and I went to this place on Sunday morning around 10 am and there wasn’t any line. Everyone is friendly. They have delicious variety of croissants 🥐. I was really interested in trying the Cube and wheel croissant from their menu. It is amazing and huge, the cream inside is very soft. I recommend to try it at least once 🥰🤩

Hidden gem. Tiny place. But if you are lucky to get a table you will definitely enjoy it. Takeaway is also a great idea 🤗 no restrooms there.

While the croissants at Little Pebbles are undeniably great, the same cannot be said for their drinks, which tend to be mediocre in comparison. It's important to note that pricing can be a significant factor for many customers. Little Pebbles is known to be on the pricier side, and this can be a deterrent for some individuals.

  • 4/5 Mariana E. 9 months ago on Google
The place is cute but tiny. Everything looks so good, we tried the round pistachio croissant and the cube almond one (a bit too sweet for me). Their drinks looked good too, would go back to try!

Definitely a gem! I had the black sesame Chiffon cake and it was perfect. It wasn’t too sweet, was perfectly moist😏 and aesthetically pleasing. The workers were kind and the vibe was great. Definitely coming back here next time to try the other desserts! Although slightly pricey, dont miss out on this spot.

I have been searching every where for this circular croissant and I am glad I finally found a place in Toronto who has it. Little Pebbles has so far only two flavours available but I notice they are adding some flavours later on. Today I tried there newest flavour the Pistachio White chocolate. The croissant was flaky, creamy and tender and really good. The whole shop was really interesting and had so much different baked goods that were enticing. Ultimately I loved entering this shop and will surely return sometime soon.

This place is a gem in the heart of Kensington market. So many delicious things here. My favorite ones, among other things, are tiramisu latte, berry croffle, matcha raspberry croissant, strawberry croissant, and breakfast danish... Tried my first black sesame latte here... very good, interesting, but not my cup of tea. Anyway, highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

It was not what I expected but I enjoyed authentic Japanese baked cheese cake! ( I imagined inside cafe is bigger and brighter when I saw some pictures on social.) Iced black coffee has a bit acidic side to my liking but it goes well with a sweet cake. I would come back for a sesame cake and mochi Daifuku. Coffee: De Mello Coffee Roasters

Really good latte. There isn't much of a seating area but we were there on a rainy Sunday morning and it wasn't busy at all. Wish I tried the baked goods, they looked delicious!

Loved the sweet treats from this lovely little cafe. The lady behind the counter was very nice and said the croffles, which is so unique and my first time eating one, would be great when heated a little, especially the caramel one. The cafe has a nice ambiance and I want to try all their other goodies some time soon. It's in a great spot in Kensington market, so it's perfect to get a dessert here after a meal in nearby restaurants.
