Horrible customer service. Went to get my bike tuned up and left a deposit as it was getting assessed. The quote for repair was very high for a bike that is worth half the price of the repair, so I decided to take somewhere else for a second opinion. When I asked if I could have the deposit back as no repair had be performed, the owner responded with a negative attitude by saying "I have a family a kids to feed, so no!" I would be happy to lose the deposit if his response would've been a little nicer and/or more professional (by saying something on the lines of "sorry, the deposit goes toward the labour/time it took to inspect the bike), however, this experience leaves a very sour taste in my mouth.

Recently purchased online from Fix Coffee + Bikes and was shipped the wrong helmet in error. Fred was quick to reply back to my email regarding the matter with several solutions to correct this. In the end we opted to send back the incorrect helmet. Fred emailed a prepaid shipping label and as soon as he received the helmet back sent out the correct one. Thanks for offering great products and for looking after your customers.

The cafe is great, and the staff are really nice on that side. The bike shop is a different story. Went in early in the morning, as I had a problem with my bike on the way to work and Fix was on my route. A friend of mine had warned me about the mechanics here, but I really just had a simple question. I totally understand that things are wild right now, and that appointment only should be honoured but there’s a way to tell your customers that instead of not even letting them speak or explain the situation without basically being told to leave unless you have an appointment. The person that served me, didn’t even say hello or even looked at what I was trying to get fixed. Further more, I didn’t even want to get it fixed on the spot, nor did i not understand that I’d have to come back for an appointment. They were just so determined to make me leave. I work in the service/restaurant industry and I get my fair share of mistreatment, but this really ruined my morning and I left with no positive feedback on my bicycle or my interaction. I’ll be listening to my friend next time.

The Incredibly rude employee, made me regret going to this bike shop. He didn't even let me finish my sentence before brushing me off by saying they don't service e-scooters of any kind. Furthermore, when I ask if they knew any scooter repair shops, he tells me in a condescending tone "Take it to wherever you bought it", I respond "I got it on Amazon", and he chuckles back at me and says "then take it to Amazon". This incident really gets me thinking how low the bar is, when it comes to hiring staff at Fix Coffee+Bikes, that they let someone with social skills of a 14 year-old highschool bully, insult a customer like this right in front of others. I'm sure the management are nice people as I have been there many times over the years. I guess it's time to move on.

I’ll preface this by saying that I’m not a cyclist, so this review is entirely based on my experience with the café portion of the business. I love it here! The staff are super friendly, special shout out to Gabby who remembered my name and order so quickly! The coffee is SO GOOD especially the cold brew. Thank you Fix team!! 😍

Incredible service. Came with my partner to pick up his bike and asked to get my tires filled and have a quick check. Didn’t charge me and gave me a great few pointers and suggested a lubricant to buy. Will 100% be back for full tune up. Thank you!! Good coffee is a great bonus.

I live in the neighborhood and get coffee here often. I got my bike tuned up recently and there was a misunderstanding on an estimate/invoice. I left the shop a bit disappointed, but Steve reached out to me to clarify and resolve the situation in a professional manner. Really nice gesture from him and the staff are all really nice. 5 Stars.

Had the most amazing experience with Steve and Fred getting my Brompton bar modifications. It came out to be cheaper than quoted! This is way better than the other Brompton “authorized dealer” in town. I would give 10 out of 5 if I could!

this place is expensive. i just got billed almost $400 on my bike. that's probably the most i've ever spent on getting my bike ready for the summer. and i take my bike in for a tune up every summer. i've had this bike for almost 9 years and the only reason i went here is because it's close to my place. when i got my bike back, my gears were slipping in and out, and for the price that i paid, i don't think my bike should be doing that. i don't think i'll be returning here. i took my bike to Pedalinx on College a couple of years ago, it's a bit farther from me, but they're great. i wish i had just gone there instead. and i hate that there's nothing i can do at this point, because i've already spent the money.

Handle bars came loose mid-ride and I was able to bring it into the shop to get them tighten. They even used a torque wrench to make sure they were correctly tighten. Great service, great people. Would recommend

Beautiful space that is a combination of two of my favourite things, coffee and bikes. Staff is incredibly friendly and went out of their way to educate us on their products as well as give us a bunch of local recommendations. Great tasting coffee and all their goods are baked in house besides their bagels. Big space with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Would absolutely recommend. If I lived in the area it would be my go to coffee shop.

Got a flat and was helped out by Matthew. He was beyond helpful and friendly. Didn't stay for a coffee but the Cafe looked amazing too. Overall a great spot! I live on the other side of town, but would definitely return for the service.

Went there for the first time the other week with a flat tire, and they had me ready to go just as I finished my complimentary coffee. Great service, and knowledgeable staff. What more could you ask for?

The team makes getting a flat a much more enjoyable experience. Everyone is super transparent, kind and helpful. Plus it’s such a bonus to enjoy an amazing cappuccino while waiting for your bike to be fixed. Highly recommend for any bike repairs!

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Fix Coffee and Bikes! I just had a very positive experience getting my bike fixed. In particular, thank you to Matthew for carefully looking over my bike and taking the time to answer my questions. I'm so happy with a job well done, I'll definitely be back!

This place is a bit far for me but I will only ever take my bike to get tuned up here. The quality of tune up is stellar and the price is fair. Really appreciate the "a la carte" kind of price model. They also fixed my basket where the frame broke off that I didn't think could ever be fixed.

Staff here or very nice and generally quite knowledgeable. I find they are also honest, if not occasionally a little less than fantastic at communication. My biggest complaint about this place is that it seems the bike shop and the cafe have very different hours and that is not indicated anywhere on Google. It is indicated on their website but generally if I'm checking Google for opening hours, I'm not checking the website too... Now the second time I've went to go to this bike shop and it is just not open but the cafe is.. kind of frustrating

I’ve been going to Fix Bike and Coffee for years. Great service and amazing staff. Sadly without warning, the shop no longer fixes e-bikes unless it’s one purchased through them. I wish the company had posted this information on its website to inform customers. I particularly found this odd considering all I needed was a brake adjustment - no interference with the electrical components at all! I wish their team all the best but sadly won’t be returning.

Perfect bike shop experience. Every time I go in I'm met with genuine hospitality, an interest in the work to be done, and practical expectations on what's next. Huge bonus that the work they charge is affordable/competitive. You get way more than you pay for... Feels rare in Toronto.

Just picked up a Brodie Dynamo from this shop. I dealt with Ryan the shop manager today who is very friendly, honest and knowledgeable. He was a pleasure to deal with and I will definitely be back for anything bike related.

Loved visiting this place for my bike services. The rates are reasonable. Ryan was friendly and genuine. He gave sincere advice and didn’t try to up-sell their stuff. Helped me get comfortable on my new bike before I left. Plus they have the most awesome bike helmets - Thousand. To top it off they have an awesome coffee shop as a part of the bike store. Thanks Ryan and team! Keep up the good work. You guys are awesome!! :)

The service was quick and efficient they even inspected the whole trike and found other things that needed replacing too! Most bike shops would shy away at the sight of even fixing an adult tricycle maybe due to the size of it. Thank you everyone at this bike shop.

Great place for a chat/meeting. Clean cut and minimalist, lots of power plugs and never busy, with a patio in the summer! Room to park on side streets a bonus, although I suspect many patrons bike here ;) PS Missing this sweet Detroit bike they had on the wall when they first opened!

This shop is nicely located and very lively atmosphere mixed with bikers. Food and coffee were great as well.

This team went above and beyond to fix my bike quickly and squeeze me in during a very busy season. They even noticed a tire issue unrelated to my original issue and fixed it without charge. The staff were so friendly and great to chat with. It'll certainly be my new permanent bike shop.

The shop itself is located in a quiet neighbourhood thats easily accessible by bike. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the process of getting my bike its annual tune-up and my gears fixed was ridiculously easy and hassle-free. I would definitely take my bike there again.

I ordered some components from them and they shipped quickly, but there was a mix up with some title on their website and I didn't get exactly what I thought I ordered. They got back to me super quickly and made everything correct, I very much appreciate the follow-up and service, always nice to find a shop that cares.

Skilled, helpful and friendly bike service. They went above and beyond in helping me get my tubeless tires installed for P2A when I was in a bit of a fix. Stylish bikes, helmets and gear. And great espresso.

Beyond being a great place to come and get your bike fixed. I get my bike tuned up here at least once a year. Biking in Toronto is one of my main forms of transportation 9 months of the year. The cafe section of the store with baked goods, juice and coffee is good too. I usually get one of the seasonal themed scones. The flavour combinations can sound weird at times but they are all really amazing I've found. I put jam or a little butter & spicy honey on my scones to take it up a notch. The fruit berry muffins are also really good. That's my backup pick if scones are sold out. Opens pretty early compared to other options in the area...even on Sundays.

Incredible experience! All of the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They listen to what you truly want, give the right suggestions and work with you to get your bike working the best for you. They don't push unnecessary product. Very quick turnaround time for bike maintenance and you can see the quality of their work. Would highly recommend this place!
