Came for the pie and was honestly a little let down. While the cherry filling was tart and super flavourful, it was served cold. That being said I would come again to try the other flavours. The eggnog latte was very unique and a delicious way to enjoy eggnog. Love the interior and the little piano at the counter.

Amazing place to try delicious pie. Olivia (staff) is very friendly, she suggested to me sour cherry pie and she hit the bull’s eye!!! Highly recommend this place.

Always looked forward to coming here. Last time was the end of June 2023 (1.5 hour drive). Our purchase tasted stale and without the flavour it used to have. The people we shared it with found the same results. Shared our findings with the bakery. Said they'd right their wrong and didn't. Such a waste. Never again!

Best Apple Crumble pie my family and I have ever had! Also delicious Peanut Butter cookies! Great service and I will have to go back to try the Key lime and Coconut Cream pies:)

Bought 2 pies for a family dinner and when I opened the box, we found mold. I didn't open the box to check out the pies when buying which I regret. We threw out the moldy strawberry rhubarb pie and nobody wanted to try the chocolate pecan one out of fear that it was moldy too. Extremely disappointed and embarrassed at the dinner. Check your pie for mold before taking it home 😔

Very average wildberry pie but coconut based baked product was good. Got seating easily & water available for self serve. Prices are a bit high.

Sour cherry pie!! This is legit sour cherry pie! It’s not too often you find a place offering sour cherry pie…. But every now and then you discover a place like Wanda’s that wows you! We happened to stumble on this place… and boy am I happy we did. Their sour cherry pie quite close to what my family makes… and I’m fairly sure they use almond extract— which is a must with sour cherry pie. If only I could have tried everything!

Best local bakery in Toronto. Every pie we've had from Wanda's has been delicious. Ontario Sour Cherry is legendary and typically goes fast. We also love the Key Lime and Coconut Cream but my personal favorite is the Chocolate Pecan. Just incredible!

We got a slice of apple berry pie to go, and it was amazing! It was sweet but not too sweet nor artificially sweet, and the apple flavour was still present with the berries. The crust was perfect. Firm yet not hard. We were a bit surprised by the presence of nuts though. Would return to try some other pies!

It’s always fun to go to Wanda’s. I used to work right beside them with Dr. Nazon, I had the pleasure to meet the owners, which are a incredible loving couple. If you're looking for a heavenly slice of pie in Toronto, look no further than Wanda's Pie in the Sky! This charming bakery is an absolute gem, offering up some of the most delicious pies and baked goods in the city. From the moment you step inside, you'll be enchanted by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist you in choosing the perfect pie or pastry to satisfy your cravings. And speaking of pies, Wanda's has an impressive selection of sweet and savory options, from classic apple and pecan to more unique flavors like maple butter tart and lemon lavender. But it's not just the pies that make Wanda's so special - their other baked goods are equally delicious. Whether you're in the mood for a flaky croissant, a decadent brownie, or a perfectly crisp quiche, you won't be disappointed. And if you're looking for something a little more substantial, their sandwiches and salads are fresh and flavorful. But what really sets Wanda's apart is the quality of their ingredients and the care that goes into every single item they make. Everything is baked from scratch using only the best ingredients, and you can taste the difference in every bite. Overall, I can't recommend Wanda's Pie in the Sky highly enough. Whether you're a pie lover or just in the mood for some delicious baked goods, this bakery is an absolute must-visit. Don't miss out on the chance to experience one of Toronto's most beloved culinary institutions! By Viviane Presa - TrulyTried @viviane.presa

Love the sour cherry pie here! Also love the decaf ice americano I had. This place is so cute, so homey, and just completely delicious baked goods. If you’re ever in a mood for pie it’s an awesome spot.

Lots of pies to choose from!!! Love that there’s a place like this at Kensington Market. Very spacious and cozy inside, they have outdoor seating too, just not sure if it’s all year round. I also think pricing is reasonable for the quality of the pies.

Pie is okay. Flavour profile is a little bland and pastry could be more flakey. Strawberry rhubarb was good, sour cherry was not.

Great coffee, food, and baked goods. I tried they egg special of the day which was eggs, veggies, white sauce baked in a flaky pastry. Simple but delicious! The PB&J cookie was just the perfect size and sweetness. Highly recommended vegetarian place if your in Kensington market. 😊

This is a go-to for award winning mango cheesecake. The cookie crumb has a nice crunch, the cheesecake flavour lovely, but the show stopper is the mango mousse and mango puree...AMAZING! I drive from the other side of town for this, it is so good! Although I haven't tried much else, Wanda's gets a 5 of 5 from me for this alone!

I ordered the 9" Peanut Butter Mousse cake for my husband for his birthday this year, and the experience from start to finish was such a delight! Emailing them for any inquires and questions is an absolute breeze. It was painless to get all the details needed to ensure you're ordering and receiving the correct product. They're very transparent with expectations on time (if you're on a time crunch) and work with your schedule as well if you need it! It's a quick credit card payment over the phone and you're all set for pick up. Stepping into this little cafe/restaurant really shows how much it is loved by the community. With all the tables filled and a mini lineup I already felt so confident about my decision to support Wanda's. Upon pickup I decided to also grab a small 6" size of their key lime pie (another house favourite, forgot to take a photo), and was on my way. These are the BEST pies I have ever had. This birthday pie brought my husband to tears (literally). Not too heavy, not too sweet - but so delightfully cream. This goes for both pies. Thank you for such a delicious treat Wanda's. I'll be back, again, and again.

Located on the edge of Kensington Market on Augusta, Wanda’s Pie in the Sky has been said to have one of the best pie, cheesecake, and cake slices in Toronto. So, I decided to give them a try by purchasing a small Wild Blueberry Pie to go. The bonus of bringing the pie home was that I got to heat it up in the oven prior too eating it. The pie was delicious. The blueberry filling wasn’t overly sweet, or sour, and the crust has just the right amount of flakiness, and very good flavour. The pies here all have a homemade feel to them, and some other flavours available are: - Coconut Cream - Pecan - Apple crumble - Chocolate pecan - Banana Cream - Strawberry Rhubarb - Key Lime Aside from pastries, the establishment also serves lunch items such as sandwiches, soups, pizza, and have a solid café menu. The interior has an antique feel, with aqua painted walls covered with art from local artists, and posters and ads for local businesses, and events. Cozy seating is available indoors, in addition to a patio space outside for warmer months. The service here is considered average in my opinion.

I did not try the pie as it was too big for me and a bit expensive side , but i tried the croissant, chocolate fudge, and coffee.. it was good for a break. Seating area is nice too and its a busy place but somehow you will find a seat easily.

I got a nice piece of monkey bread. I enjoyed it, very flavourful and had a nice unique taste. I am glad this is a fully vegetarian place it has a nice vibe in the bakery.

This is a nice spot for a break in Kensington Market. Mid-way on Augusta with a seating area behind garage doors that are raised in the summertime, and a pleasant outdoor space with chairs and tables for people-watching. Most of the deserts are good, although I found the apple pie over-sweet and the pecan too runny. Coffee and tea are fine and they have a clean and accessible bathroom on the main floor. Overall, I would say a nice place to while away an hour or two, but largely because of location and a congenial feel about the place rather than the quality of their deserts.

Macaroons in clockwise order of deliciousness: 11 o clock. = dulce de leche, 2 o clock = chocolate, 5 o clock = lemon, and 9 o clock choc cherry (didn’t love this one). The other 3 all incredible. All gluten free. They can make any pie gluten free but you have to order in advance. No GF pies for walk in.

I was looking to buy a high quality Black Forest cake, made in the traditional style: an exterior layered with fresh creme, dotted with thick chocolate shavings, while the inside of the cake should contain weighty dark chocolate cake layers containing real cherries. Their cake met my expectations; it was delicious, weighty and was the perfect sweetness. My wife and children loved it. It was my first experience purchasing here, but it was a wonderful one. Lovely people and lovely cake! Can recommend this bakery without hesitation.

I have loved this place since a long time and it's my all time go to place. Their pecan pie is worth your penny. Must visit place. They have unlimited vegan and vegetarian options too.

Sour Cherry Pie - Pies are served cold, crust had gone a little soft which took away a bit from the texture. The sour cherry wasn't too sweet, a initial hit of sour cherry before a slight sweetness and crust tasted buttery and salted slightly. Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos!

I recently tried the key lime pie and a banana chocolate pie at a local spot. The key lime pie was bursting with flavor, and I particularly enjoyed its savory taste. However, the banana cream pie, though fresh, seemed a bit bland in comparison, especially after savoring the vibrant key lime pie. I'd rate the key lime pie a solid 5stars for its rich and flavorful taste. The banana pie, while good, gets a 4 stars from me. Overall, it's a good place for pie lovers! Definitely visit the place if you re in Kensington!

The pecan pie is soooooo delicious! The crunchiness of the pecans complements the base very well. It’s also not too sweet! The apple crumble was alright. The apples were really sour but somehow the entire pie was overall way too sweet for my taste. We got pies on Sat so there was a huge line outside the door for the Thanksgiving rush. Because the store puts the pie boxes on the perimeter of the store for ease of access, you can view the different flavours. There were a lot of fruit flies on the strawberry rhubarb boxes, so we avoided those.

Such a quaint little place! Huge variety of tasty pies and pastries. Most sweet but some savoury as well. Nice seating area full of natural light if you decide to eat in (as I did, to get out of the rain).

I bought four of the gluten and dairy-free cookie offerings: chocolate almond kisses and dulce de leche. I don’t have a “before” photo of either because they did not last long. Chewy and delightful!

The pie at this place is truly exceptional! Not only is the pie itself delicious, but the service is also top-notch. It has become a must-visit spot for me every time I'm in the area. The combination of outstanding pie and excellent service makes it a memorable and enjoyable experience that keeps me coming back.

Ever since I discovered this place, I've loved it! It does sell a lot of pie, including pi day pie, and lunch things too. It has a bit of a co-op feel; you turn your own dishes to the bins provided, which to me just adds to the community vibe of the place. I love it and would recommend!

This is my favourite cafe in Kensington! It's always my first stop so that I can grab an amazing ice tea! They have a nice patio space in the front and the side to sit. There are little birds that hang around you hoping for crumbs, but they're cute so you forgive their persistence.

Delicious pie! This is one of the places that has maintained its quality post-COVID. Overall on the pricier side but it is reflected in the ingredients.
