I WAS HARASSED and pressured by multiple staff members to give a stripper over $500 for a 15min dance. I was downstairs and the blonde stripper I was with would not let me go upstairs without sending $300 more when I just paid $220 for the 15min dance. She got her stripper friend, some black guy, and the two bartenders to harass me to send her the money I "owe". I overpaid initially and then under the pressure I paid another $200, even after that she said I owe another $120 for wasting her time. The tall white bouncer was the only nice employee who listened to me and had to sneak me out. Can the manager contact me? I will be going to the BBB, authorities, and my lawyer for extortion.

Atmosphere was fun but the expensive drinks, annoyingly needy girls, and scam filled environment ruined a good night I was having with friends. My buddy was taken to a vip room for one hour and was "encouraged" by security to pay nearly $900 dollars for a two girl dance. Actual leaches run this place, it's honestly predatory.

NEVER, I repeat never go here if you're considering it and researching adult entertainment clubs. If you do go, just have a beer or drink or two and pay in cash then leave. Budget for that and don't go for a dance as they will take their pound of flesh. The wildest part is this strip bar has been here for over 50 years. It's dripping with scammers and desperation. Totally scam. No sane person should ever go. When you choose to let her give you the lap dance, there is no reminder of the end at all. Several girls will be called over without your permission, and there is no reminder of the end. You don't know something's right until it's too late. They demanded $2,400 and five girls surrounded us and wouldn't let us leave. You don't have that much time but you charge for close to an hour. And the security is terrible, right there watching you. They approached my group looking for dances which we agreed to and ended up scamming us 300$ extra for a dance that was only 2 songs long. The girls were unhygienic, dirty, and beyond rude. Went to Zanzibar last night with my wife. It was fun for us. We live 5 minutes walking distance from Zanzibar and wanted to go many times but whenever we make a plan, Covid restriction hits! We were lucky this time. Admission fee is 5$ and it must be cash. Girls are beautiful, drinks are a bit costly but that’s understandable. You can order food too but that’s another vendor. VIP rooms are in upstairs. It’s better to go after 11 if you like crowd or go before 11 and you will have a good time. We made conversations with some girls, it was nice. For lap dance, it will cost you 40$. And make sure you have cash with you. You can only pay with your card for drinks, rest of the things you have to pay cash.

The worst club. Pls don't go. Robbers would be much nicer than these people. The way, they threaten you is horrible. You may even think about about suicide. google doesn't allow zero rating.

While some of the girls were absolutely awesome. The 2 girls we ended up with was super friendly and outgoing. Private dances are a bit confusing. I think you pay the dancer per song and the club to enter the room I think. Now the one star is 100% for the bouncer , Tiny . With the name comes the attitude. Big bald dark skin man. We had a dancer sitting with us. She just finished doing 2 dances on stage , I guess he didn’t like she was sitting with us so he made her go back up to dance not even 5 min after finishing her set. I told him we were talking to her and he should have someone else go dance. He’s a bully and unfortunately if the girls want to work they have to tolerate his intimidation. I came out to enjoy myself, and I did . But as I said Tony’s attitude sucked. And he did put a damper on the night. Oddly enough so much of the other staff didn’t have nice things to say about him either!

The bouncers at the front were really rude. Theres a $5 cover however the waitress girls will force you to buy a drink to stay, my partner and I asked for 2 waters and for whatever reason it rung up $20. 🙄 The ladies there are absolutely beautiful but when they get up on stage, you can see in their face that they're extremely bored and dont really want to be there (which i understand, the job is tiring but they shouldnt be so emotionless on stage). The girls are persuasive and the backroom VIP area has a $20 cover fee (which we didn't go to). The place is great to see some pretty women but be careful they will try to trap you into paying way more than you actually wanted.

It was my first time going to a club like this and it would be the last time! There was no noticeable sign of “no camera”. However, a worker there was so rude if she told me politely to delete what I filmed it would be fine. But what she did was insane shouting and yelling at me like crazy! Threatened me by kicking me out although I delete the video once she told me! She started looking in my studio she didn't find anything then she asked me to open my snap memory while loading she didn't stop yelling at me! She was so nervous like hell! Very bad experience I never get treated like this in my life! It's not even logical when anyone can come in and see them in public and then they get irritated if someone films them! I didn't get shocked when I saw their rate is 2.6 low class in terms of customer services as well as morals!

Dancers lie about the time that's passed. I told one of them to tell me when the 15 min was up and never told me anything until “45 min” in and it was 6 songs max but still claimed it to be almost an hour. Just classless and unprofessional environment with hidden charges.

WARNING BEWARE The folks at this place extorts customers. I bought two drinks I asked how much they told me $28. Second round I bought 3 drinks (the same drinks) and forgot to ask the price; price was jacked up to $75. I paid anyways. After 20 min I was demanded to pay $900. They said I was there for an hour which was a plain lie as I had friends with me to later confirm and a watch. They try to take advantage by using alcohol, low lightning and loud music to disorient you. I paid $500 which more than covered the 20 min. As I was leaving they yelled to their bouncers who physically dragged me back downstairs to the atm. There is a 10%+ interest charge on this machine which also lines their pockets. This is pure crime. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a genuine place.

Went for a bach on the weekend...The girls dancing on stage just looked like they hated their life. Girls were rude..wanted too much for one dance. The bathrooms were definitely not cleaned. Carpet is super trashy and ripped up. This is the kinda place you would catch a disease from.

This is not a good place, but not terrible too. I kind of have a neutral stance, because it’s me that misunderstood the price of mistresses for vip rooms. I know that they said they charge 25 entrance fee, and 20 per song, but for some reasons (sexy dances is the reason) I completely did not remember that until the 7th song finishes. It’s a waste of money with little time with the dancers, but there are solutions so that you won’t regret coming to Zanzibar. I think the real solution to have a wonderful time there, is to: 1. Bring cash (do not use tf atms there, 10-18$ service fee for withdrawals) 2. Only one dancer, please, one dancer to vip room 3. PAY IN ADVANCE, and LEAVE THE CLUB AFTER SHOW WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED AND INABILITY TO PAY SUCH A HIGH PRICE.

After my third time visiting here, I decided to finally write a review, as I've never had a bad experience. $5 entry fee, drinks prices pretty much on par with most venues like this. Amazing dancers, always friendly and engaging. Spent some time with a stunning dancer, she was so honest, down to earth, friendly and a lot of fun to spend time with. She absolutely made my night and had the most incredible figure. On the three occasions I have been to Zanzibar I've never been disappointed. I've always seen beautiful girls there, the standard seems consistently high The only downside for me is the $20 fee to access the private dance area, never come across this before at any other venue like this. Its the only thing that lets it down. I mean you pay it because you have to, but its just one less dance for the girl. Also bring cash or use an ATM outside of the club before visiting, the charges inside are crazy high. But overall another great experience at zanzibar. I think its fair to say, if you're not an a*shole, treat the girls with some respect and decency, you can not have a bad experience.

Went in with a male friend and paid the ten dollars each entrance fee, the bouncer seemed friendly said he had a 'special booth' for us; he sat us in behind the front row near the bar I'm guessing so he could keep an eye on us. Also noticed there were other couples sitting near us, maybe its where they put couples. The first two dancers were high energy, used the poles and danced like they were enjoying it, after that the show went very downhill quickly. The next couple girls were barely moving on stage and looked extremely bored. Asking a girl there where the bathroom is was met with "oh good you didn't ask me for a dance". The men's bathroom was attended by someone and clean while the women's bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in five years. The women were every attentive with the male clients while it felt like women weren't welcome unless with a man. Would not recommend for your first strip club experience, not all clubs are like this I promise.

I have a good time every time I come here I don't come by much as I live a few cities away but still on transit. Pre drinking here is great and the beers are huge for the price when I was younger it was like 14 bucks for a 710 of Canadian without tip witch is 2 regular beers out of a case. Came here on friday just after 8. Had such a great time, not sure who the first girl i was with but it was an amazing first time, she made my night. Definitely hoping to get a dance with her the next time around. Still thinking about the dance i had days later 😅

Entry fee was cheap and our server was nice. The place looked kind of shabby but it's understandable. The dancing was not continuous and dancers are only looking to get you to go into the backroom with them.

Danced there a few years ago for all of 2 days. It was quiet for the most part, and the guests that did come in were very insistent on cheap unsafe extras in the VIP. Not to mention the place somehow has pot holes in the floor where one could twist their ankle- stripper shoes or not.

Visited 24/5/23 on my 1st night in Toronto. Excellent club. Friendly bar staff and dances. The bar prices what you would expect in a club in the city.

Decent atmosphere. The TVs could be bigger as I couldn’t clearly see the hockey game I was trying to watch. The gentleman solo at the table beside us continued nodding off through the evening so It seemed as though he may have been bored. Our waitress was a delight but she had more clothes on than I’d have preferred. Ordered the Caesar salad… it was hot.

Hotties every night, the girls seem kind and have eachothers best interests in mind. Next time im passing through toronto ill make sure to go back!

There are a lot of strip clubs bars in Toronto and Zanzibar has perfect performances and a cheap $5 cover. Drinks are ridiculously over priced here, but your not paying for the drink rather your paying to be inside the place.

I used to be a regular customer before they scammed me and it wasn’t just once. This place is a huge scam and very bad service. The dancers quality have dropped and you wouldn’t even want to interact with them. Do not go here if you don’t want to get scammed.
