dont even bother unless youre a skinny white girl, all of the staff are incredibly rude and RACIST. they charge different covers to people depending on how you look and your skin tone, just to step inside and listen to trash music. a bouncer called me ugly after he tried to make me leave and i told him i wasnt going anywhere because i was not drunk, for him to be kicking me out. dont waste your time and money, there are plenty of great clubs in toronto unlike this one which should be shut down for discrimination!

They hold up the line to make it look packed. We finally got in for $20 ($50 after 11 pm), and it was dead, even though we earlier to be on the guest list. We tried really hard to jam to the music but it was difficult. We finally left when they told us that we couldn't leave our coats in the corner of an unused couch. Our friends came after and they were asked to pay $50 instead, even though they were on the guest list too. After this we found a club that had free entrance and coat service, and the place was packed and had good music. This contrast makes me give this place the lowest rating possible.

Great time, minus the cover and the fact I had to change my shoes cuz no brand of Tims allowed. Not mentioned anywhere on their website, other than that had a great time.

EFS has a pretty poor layout. I've been to a handful of small/boutique clubs but this one just didn't give me a cozy vibe. Also, there is nothing appealing about the furniture or decor as it seems there is no theme to the club. I went on a weekday, during TIFF. The music was mediocre, most weren't dancing, but just standing around and talking with drinks in hand as they tried to look occupied. It was very packed as well. The bartenders and staff would actually push straight by me or through a group of people with no regards to knocking over drinks or minor injury. This was the worst club experience I've ever had.

    1. What you pay is whatever the bouncers feel like. One bouncer said guys were $40. Then 5 minutes later, another bouncer said $50. 2. Even if you aren't epileptic, you would get a seizure from the constant strobing of lights. It's impossible to see anything. 3. DJs cannot mix to save their lives. You could literally put on a Spotify playlist and it would be better than the stuff they put out. They would change songs every 20-30 seconds with a completely different beat and tempo. So, any hype from a good song dies in 30 seconds. To make it worse, they would play siren noises every time they switched songs. The DJ will turn any Drake or the Weekend song to something undanceable. 4. The crowd was mainly sitting and drinking. No one was really hyped. There were a lot more guys than girls too. Dance floor was as sparse as Prince William's hairline

Trust the bad reviews! Honestly, one of the worst services ever. I made reservations and made a guest list, and when I got there they told me my name wasn't on the list. I even showed them the proof + screenshot, they denied it. It's basically their way of having a bunch of people around their club and then selectively choosing who they want to let in or not. The bouncers were rude, arrogant and obnoxious, not understanding at all!! The only way they would let us in was if we spent $1000+ .... HAH! I later had friends that went in because they were willing to pay the $1000 for table service and everything, but I refused to go back to this place.

Worst club you could ever attend. They claim the club is full and hold up the line.. the moment you walk in it is completely dead and the music is horrendous. Oh and careful, they will kick you out for the dumbest of things. DO NOT WASTE YOUR BREATH WITH THIS PLACE.

Worst customer service ever! We asked and booked a booth a month ago for a group of 13. We traveled 5 hours to get to this place. We arrived there and all they gave us was a small cocktail table. They wouldn't upgrade us to a booth because it was full. Our waitress was kind to let us know the real way they work. She said if another group is ready to spend more, they will downgrade the other groups without letting them know. The way the manager handled it was really poor. 0 for customer service. Plus, the bouncers threw everything that was in my purse. Not worth your money. Don't go there.

I was carrying a sling bag and they said cross body bags aren't allowed. so I had to stuff the bag in my friends pocket and carrying everything else in hand. When we asked why they said that's a rule. It's so superficial and unwelcoming. Luckily the dj was decent but you can count on them to ruin your night base on their service.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would. I attended an industry event in which I showed up early and for a $70 entry fee I received 2 drink tickets. Around 10pm I went to the bar to order a drink and they were no longer accepting tickets (none of which was emphasized on the ticket). Plus, the bar staff started counting drinks and inventory and completely ignoring about 60+ patrons waiting at the bar to order. The Manager was also behind the bar and blatantly ignored a number of customers trying to ask questions or get his attention. He ran and hid in the office for a good 45min saying he was too busy to come out and speak to anyone. None of the bar staff were acknowledging any of the customers at the bar trying to order drinks. It's one of the worst scenerios of customer experience I've ever witnessed. I will never come back to this bar again and I suggest it never be considered by event planners as a venue that wants to collaborate with its customers. Everyone that worked there was arrogant and showed no empathy or effort towards resolution. This place is a joke. I also waited in a 20min line just to retrieve my jacket to leave. I almost would have preferred to ditch it and buy a new one.

I had a great night, 3 girls and 1 guy. We had ordered a bottle at the edge of the bar, we went on a friday night and they gave us great service. The music was VERY good, room to dance just us, I was very happy! Only thing is that it's in a basement and it gets pretty hot.

Bouncers always ask for bribes to get in. Asked me and my buddy for $40 each and this didn’t even include the $20 cover charge inside. Told us to leave if we didn’t want to pay. Plenty of other better options to go to, avoid EFS.

Has a $20 entrance fee, and the music was horrible. DJ won’t take requests. Most of the staff is on their phones the whole night. Dance floor is small. Literally the music made me nauseous and I had to leave. Only nice thing I can say is the upstairs patio was pretty nice but even then it’s not worth the money to get in the door.

Incredibly rude staff. They’d look at your skin colour and impose all sorts of made up rules. Won’t be surprised if they get sued soon! Also, they had a shooting inside the club recently so all their “security checks” are most racial profiling

Worst night club in Toronto after the club call her Juliet. NO COAT/BAG CHECK, SUPER CROWDED, YOU CAN'T EVEN MOVE PLACE TOO SMALL, ENTRANCE SECURITY WILL TAKE ALL YOUR CASH ($80) SO WATCH OUT OR DON'T GO AT ALL. 🙄

Not my kind of crowd. Too much undesirables for my taste. Undesirables meaning just sloppy looking millenials, both guys and girls.... crowd used to be better more mature, sophisticated. Wish they had a better dress code might attract a little more sophistication.

First time back after a while, still very bad service, the line up is ridiculous we had a booth with 8 bottles and still got treated very poorly, I went out for a smoke when I tried to get back in the guy said 100$ to skip the line to go back in to the booth, if I’m coming to spend few thousands of dollars at a club and my friends had to wait almost 2 hours to come in I wouldn’t have spent a dollar the bouncer wanted a 100$ a head to skip the guest list line! So bizarre. Never again.

Pros Good music , affluent crowd , fun times if you know the right people Cons Door staff needs to be humbled , the amount of hatred I have for those scammers I can’t describe. The owner is at fault for even allowing his staff to operate in the fashion they do. Charging someone 100$ cover at open just to go in and find 20 people in the club. A literal joke. I wasn’t attending the club one night but my friend was inside and had our house keys and she wasn’t picking up her phone. I wanted to make sure she was okay and possibly get the keys so I could go home as it was minus -10 outside. Bouncers didn’t care nor did they want to hear what I had to say. That should speak volumes on their customer service.

Worst experience ever. The staff is not at all friendly. Even the bouncers are RUDE and can throw you out for no reason. They’re borderline racist. Don’t recommend going there. Try other places in TO for sure.
