They assured us we had a certain booth but then they switched us out at the last minute without any notice. I used to love this place and have spent thousands of dollars there, but apparently they only care about the highest bidder. I'd avoid this place of you're looking to be treated like a human being.

The worst club that I’ve ever been!! Their security team is so rude and the security such a RACIST!!! My friends and I went there and the security was not allowing us to go inside just because we cannot remember the post code on my ID card even though I gave him the correct name, birthday and home address. They asked us to show them the second physical ID, we said “Nowhere of the website and market accounts mentioned about bringing 2 IDs to the club because there is a possibility of questioning your first ID. Thats why we only brought our phone and 1 ID here”. And then they kept laughing at us by mentioning about our phone. I suppose they are looking for some cash to earn. We stood on the street, the security kept bothering and teasing us!! We are there to consume, the entrance fee is $20 whenever you go there, and they want us to give more money for their personal pocket. We try to make take to their manager but they said they r private company and they can do whatever they want to do. We won’t go back there again and none of our friends!!!

Can't speak for the club itself but the bouncers the night I came by were very rude and condescending. They let me know that my outfit was not up to their dress code, which is fine understanding that it is a social club. However, I noticed that they had let by other patrons dressed more casually as well. When called out for their double standards, I was heckled and said that it wasn't just that I had casual shoes on but it was my entire vibe. Was turned away feeling humiliated. If you are queer/ express your queerness in your clothing, please avoid this place at all costs. This space is meant for straight, basic people. You'd think they'd be better on Beyoncé weekend, but figures not. Find some place cooler to go to.

STAY AWAY! The service is extremely slow. We ordered a few bottles for a friends birthday. Took close to 30 minutes to get the bottles to our table. When I asked for the bill that took about 20 minutes and then was told there’s a mandatory 18% gratuity. I spoke with the manager and told her gratuity is based on the quality of service but was forced to pay the full 18%. She told me she would contact me the next day to offer me a free bottle. She did not contact me of course. Will not go back.

I had an awful experience there this past Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get the bouncer's name (short middle-aged Asian dude), this guy was super disrespectful, kicking me out of the club for no reason at all. Long story short, I had asked one of the bouncers (a nice one) to show me how to get to the outdoor smoking area because I was looking for two of my friends that apparently were there, at that point I didn't know if the smoking area was on the ground or upper floor, anyways... while I was following him to the outdoor area, this other bouncer came from behind grabbed my arms as if I was getting escorted out of the club, I asked him to stop touching me, but he was overly rude, did not listen or wanted to reason at all and SIMPLY KICKED ME OUT OF THE CLUB BY ASSUMING I was getting kicked out only because another bouncer and I were (I GUESS) walking in the same direction! I wasn't drunk, wasn't causing any problems (I'm not even that type of person to begin with) I was simply asking someone to show me where one certain location was. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place, some bouncers think they can do whatever they can, I was yelled at to "leave him alone" because I was "talking too much"... damn right I was talking too much, I honestly could not believe what was happening, I had to make my point, it was an absolute unfair situation to be in.

Thank you the fifth you just gave me and friends the worst clubbing experience ever. We booked the tickets two weeks ago for the Barbie night event. And when we got there with full makeup and pink outfits the stuff said oh it’s over 11:30, you have to pay 20 bucks or leave, and the security also like forced us to leave, he said you girls have to pay 20$ or leave. We checked the email couple of times and it didn’t say we should be there before 11:30. It’s unfair and it’s not respectable cause we took time and money to get there and the security forced us to leave. U SHOULD MENTIONED THAT ON YOUR EVENT AND ITS NOT OUR FAULT AND UR SECURITY HAS NOT RIGHT TO FORCE US TO LEAVE!

Last Friday, I celebrated a friend’s birthday at the Fifth Social Club in Toronto, and it was an absolute blast! We arrived around 9:30 PM, and despite the pouring rain, the club had a long lineup. Luckily, our bottle service reservation allowed us to skip the wait and dive right into the fun. The music was a standout feature, seamlessly blending new hits with old school classics, creating an upbeat and inclusive atmosphere. The club’s vibe was electric, especially since it was Asian night. The crowd was predominantly East Asian, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the diversity and energy. Service at Fifth Social Club deserves a special mention. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that our group was comfortable throughout the night. The seating was cozy, and the club was impressively clean, adding to the overall excellent experience. By midnight, the club was packed to the brim, but it never felt too crowded. Instead, it added to the excitement and energy of the night. Everyone around us seemed to be having the time of their lives, and so did we. I highly recommend Fifth Social Club for a memorable night out, especially on Asian night. The combination of great music, fantastic service, and a lively atmosphere makes it a standout choice. Can’t wait to go back!

Charges around CAD 20 for entry. No facility to keep your bags which is frustrating. Crowd is mostly Asian and very reserved. So if you want to date anyone or pick a girl, chances are very less unless you have lots of money and extraordinary communication skills. Giving even one star for the only reason that security guard was good and supportive to me.

Terrible experience from the start! Security picked a fight with my friends and forced them to pay a ridiculous amount (plus tip %) for a bottle they never ordered or drink! Security was rude, obnoxious and aggressive with them when they were just trying to be treated nicely.

I've been here twice, thinking my first experience was an offchance one. The staff here are angry/rude and they yell at patrons, even the non-rowdy ones. Feels like they're trying to make people feel inferior. It ruins the suppose-to-be fun experience with friends. I witnessed this happen with other groups too. Guestlists are not honoured. We were informed guestlists include free cover from 10-11:30pm. We arrived at 11:05pm and were told the guestlist was closed and our male friends would have to pay cover. We did not argue with staff and had simply asked them about the 11:30pm time deadline due to the confusion. And then got yelled out by security that now everybody needs to pay cover. Got yelled at by security again for taking a break from dancing to sit down. I looked like I was sleeping apparently.. Drinks are not great. Would never come back.

Went here for NYE. Music was good, bartenders and staff were wonderful, and I feel that the 50$ per ticket was reasonable. My main issue is that when I entered, neither me or my friend got a pat down or our bags checked. I’m assuming that since we didn’t get a pat down or bag check, others also did not. I feel this is a safety issue, and it definitely raises more safety concerns since it was a holiday and the place was tightly packed.

DO NOT GO HERE! Had my phone stolen from my purse within 6 minutes of entering the club, several other girls phones and wallets were stolen within the next 20 minutes. Security would not allow us to view security footage and brushed off the situation saying that it “happens at the club all the time”. Security refused to search a man with a large backpack and 3 phones in his back pocket exiting the club. After talking with other people at the club they said that they had multiple friends also have their phones stolen at 5th Social just the week before as it is a common occurrence there and security has not done anything to stop the situation. Do not take the risk, there are many other better clubs that are much safer. It is NOT worth it.

omg I was so cheesed last night. The security lady threatened to kick us out of the club for vaping inside. And she was not being polite at all she could’ve said it in a more friendly tone but instead she was rude…I knew that vaping was not allowed inside but didn’t she see that everybody else was vaping like crazy?? If you don’t want nobody vaping inside you might as well keep an eye on everyone instead of just that one person. I’m so disappointed at this place might never come again…

We were here for the NYE dinner set. It was a 4 course meal for $85++ (tax and gratuity) which was really reasonable for a NYE dinner in downtown Toronto. In fact, we got an amuse bouche so it was essentially 5 courses. The lamb was exquisite. Perfectly grilled, crunchy pistachio crust and really good sauces for pairing. The Mediterranean bass did not disappoint. It was very tender inside and had a crispy skin, perfectly cooked. The dessert was a hefty portion, and they had the most interesting gelato flavour I’ve tried: thyme and honey. Really unique taste. The ambiance was very rustic and romantic on the patio, but it’s also a great place for bigger groups. There’s also an indoor portion which was darker and more of a candle-lit vibe. I’d say it’s more classic French food than Italian but it was very high quality. Service was great as well but it’s a moot point since gratuity was prepaid. Overall would recommend!

I went in Feb 2020 for friend's birthday dinner and it was a cool heritage building. I found the small portions of food a bit overpriced but we all found the food delicious with really good service. I enjoyed dining here with its simple, elegant and casual vibes.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE TERRIBLE security - All had an attitude, and hopped up on power. Absolutely terrible mannerisms for paying guests. TERRIBLE atmosphere - the music was boring and repetitive. Too many lights and no LEDs? Is this a club or a lounge? Too crowded to be a lounge and the music doesn’t fit but lighting and atmosphere was not one of a club. Too crowded and hot! Even the bottle service looked honestly sad and boring. Much better options out there. OVERPRICED drinks - Payed $60 for 1 Red Bull can and 4 shots of jaeger, ON TOP of $20 cover charge. Save your money and do not go here! I’m and avid clubber and this is the worst “club” I have ever been too. Never written a review before but I had to due to how terrible experience this was. Left an hour in as it ruined the night. Was even a friend’s birthday! Not worth your time and money whatsoever!

Recently visited The Fifth Social Club for an private event before it opened to the public. It was a Saturday night and I was really impressed with the customer service from the staff! Reggie at the coat check was very polite and professional. He was patient with us and had a smile. When we got drinks at the bar, the bartender greeted us with a warm welcoming, she made a recommendation and the drinks were delightful! The DJ was great, he played a lot of 2000s and 90s hip hop, pop and r&b and the vibe was great. Washrooms were kept clean and had adequate lighting. The restroom attendant could have been kinder though. Not everyone has cash on them to be able to tip every time they use the washroom. Other then that the overall experience was great and our group would definitely come back.

Came here for summerlicious 2019. The experience with the elevator was certainly a fun and novel way to set the tone for dinner. I was immediately captivated by the decor, and we were seated in the nest. When the sun went away temporarily while I was trying to capture a photo, the server was gracious enough to light our photo with his phone and the staff by the bar took note and turned up some of the surrounding lights for that moment. Talk about attentiveness! The food was a feast for the eyes and absolutely delicious! It was filling and had precise and attractive plating, enhanced by all the colours. It was obvious that the chefs and staff took pride in their work. I would come back to give the regular menu a taste.

Everything was great except coat check. I came in 12/29/23 at around 10:00pm when the place was legitimately empty and the male at coat check was incredibly rude DESPITE there being no line behind me. There was no reason to rush, but his demeanour and tone was not welcoming whatsoever. Not to mention him speaking in a different language in a ANNOYED manner when I asked for clarification on something nicely. Rest of the night was great though when I didn’t have to interact with them.

All time favourite club in Toronto. This has been my friends, and I go to spot for 5 years. The vibes are unmatched from any other Toronto club i've been too... and i've been to a bunch haha. I just love how you can have fun here without being judged and people actually are dancing and enjoying themselves unlike king west. they also always have something fun going on wether its snacks at the end of the night or performances during the night. The manager Brogan is also super accommodating and kind

Overall good clubbing experience. It gets fairly busy at night around 11pm. I like that its less crowded and smaller compared to for eg. rebel. 20 dollar cover at the entrance. Drinks are okay. I would probably go again, not sure about the dinning experience though.

Very fun first clubbing experience!! The atmosphere is amazing and the music is great as well. Yet my friends’ jackets got stolen, so remember to keep alert on the personal belongings or place them in coat check. Have fun!!

Way too crowded. Watered down bottle service. My party had reserved bottle service for 8+ ppl, but when arrived we found that our booth had been given away. The music selection is from 2010 to 2014; very little to no current music was played. The bottles were overpriced. Dress code was pretty relaxed.

Tried to book a booth for my birthday, and the events contact initially was happy to accomodate bringing in decorations like balloons and a cake. Closer to the date tried to confirm these same details and was told they couldn't accomodate these requests for the booth type reserved....why say yes in the first place then? Anyways this was told to me three days before the event, so I chose to find another venue that was more professional and upfront for bookings. Not sure if they're always like this or just in my case.

I had a fun time loved the free lolipops, and enjoyed the music with my friends. It’s very basic pop music and some rap, but when you’re drunk it’s great. I did get my phone stolen, ID, and all my other things I brought but it happens in Toronto at any club 😭.. so just make sure to have a good bag, or hold on your things

Big classy joint on Fridays with mostly well behaved Asians. For some reason the club doesn't post pictures of this. They feed you hot dogs and pizza around closing time! Has gone downhill lately after they hired a homeless looking bouncer dude who has anger management issues and screams at the customer's all night. Ruins the vibe.

As a regular of this club, I am disappointed to say that following an incident last weekend, my friends and I will never be returning. The bouncers have unfortunately revealed themselves to be extremely patronizing, rude, and aggressive to those in the LGBTQ+ community and to those who express their queerness openly. This is absolutely shocking and repulsive behaviour, especially from one particular bouncer (middle aged, short, Asian), who humiliated my friend after speaking to him in a very condescending and nasty way when my friend was nothing but cooperative, understanding, and just a nice guy trying to have a fun night out. I would honestly suggest going to other similar clubs like AMPM, Big Trouble, or even bars like Midnight Market, where everyone is welcome and no one is treated in such a terrible way. I’ve read multiple reviews complaining about the bouncers’ behaviour and even a few specifically naming the middle aged Asian bouncer as having a history of aggressive behaviour. I hope something will be done about this so no one ever has to go through the experience my friend went through. 1/5 stars. If I could give zero I would.

I probably haven’t come across the club that has been ruder and more disrespectful to my entire friend group (~10 folks) who came *on the guest list*. Half our group was denied entry coz we were “wearing white shoes”. One member of our group was mishandled by the bouncer and we were told “after that, no way any of y’all are gonna get entry with me around”. There are better places like Toy Box around, people. Most power tripping bouncers I’ve met

Went on a Saturday and it was fun! $5 shots, great music for late 90s babies, super clean bathrooms. There was enough space on the dancefloor such that parts were very crowded and other parts had a bit more breathing space. Finally, there was a hot dog stand just outside providing free hot dogs - a great end to the evening!

Everything else was fine except the coat check. I wish I can leave a zero over here. I checked my thousand dollar vintage jacket here and when I picked it up, the lady just stepped on it in front of me. I didn’t get a chance to check on it when I was in the club. After I got out of the club and checked on it, I found a 3-4cm tear around my shoulder area from when she stepped on it and tried to pull it up. It was quite careless and for a $5 cost check at least some care should be taken.

Was planning to host a corporate event for the company I work for with them and paid the deposit upfront. Owners ended up stealing the $20,000 deposit and went MIA before event. Be very cautious before hosting your event there…highly recommend looking for another place.

I dont know thats is just my case or it happens a lot with other people. But 2 weeks ago we booked a both for a friday night for my birthday party. The booking said "okay" and we discussed on details for the drink and stuff. But 1 day before the day came, she just texted back that the table and booth now is not available anymore. And then i called just ask whats happened and " thats not acceptable way to treat the customer that way", after that she just said " thats not my problem" and hang off right away. I likes the place been there more than 5 a years, but after this, GG.

I had a disappointing experience at this club on February 17 at 11:37. Despite having a reservation, the bouncer, a tall black guy, was incredibly rude, yelling at us, and shockingly refused entry. It's concerning that it felt like our appearance might have influenced this decision. No one deserves to be treated unfairly based on their skin color or how they look. I hope the club addresses these issues to ensure a more inclusive and respectful environment for all patrons.

Always an awesome time at the Fifth!! They have such a great team over there!!! In particular Steve, Des, Eddy, Ashley & Emma are amazing!! They go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and have a good time. This club is nothing but good vibes, you can always count on the Fifth for a great time! Definitely the best nightclub in Downtown, Toronto!!

I have been going here for years and could honestly say that Fifth social is one of the best clubs for a sophisticated young crowd. Service is always terrific and they actually take care of you. The complimentary chocolate fountain or hot dogs are a really thoughtful touch. Steve is by far the best bartender who ensures you gave an awesome time and us super considerate! Thank you Steve for the awesome service!

Ambient and modern space. Three different bars. Music great, although sound quality needs improvement. No free seats. Average age of 25 years old mostly Asian. So if you’re a millennial like me, you’re not gonna last here long.

Great first time clubbing experience here. All the staff were very nice, bouncer was kind the bartenders were very nice and listened to our requests. Even gave some waterbottles for free without us asking later in the night. They seem to not be that strict with their dress code. I saw a lot of sneakers at least I know for next time.

This place was ridiculous! The music was EDM, reggae, hip hop, old school, DJ was sick transitioning like nothing keeping the crowd moving, crowd was very interesting and fun. Over the top was at the exit were FREE bottles of water, cans of sparkling water,, freebies and they cooked up hot dogs for everyone for free on their patio, what??

OKAY, did you know the fifth has actual superman working at the club? I was at the fifth three weeks ago with my friends and there is a bottle service GUY that takes his shirt off and serves with the most dreamy body and eyes ever!! As far as atmosphere and music, this is one of the best dance clubs I’ve been to in Toronto and I’m definitely coming back. The prices were pretty typical for bottle service, not cheap but worth it for the memories. Our server Dana was very kind and attentive, all the servers here are very kind altogether.

Kind of expensive, but my friends and I had a lot of fun here pre covid. We had gone for a 22nd birthday. It was a lot of fun, and such a gorgeous setup. Music was very modern. The bartender notably seemed to enjoy his job. Definitely worth going when all is more back to normal.

They need to do a better job of maintaining a good a balance of crowd. I have visited the establishment twice and both times the amount of guys outnumbered the girls by 3 times. While I am not against the idea of first come first serve, I also don't want to continue bumping into other guys. On another note, drinks are far too overpriced and I heard the bartender yell at a patron when the requested some water and expected a tip. This shouldn't be the case considering the $20 cover charge. The house DJ seems to care very little about the crowd mood. The song selection was mediocre at best.

It was my friend’s birthday party and they wouldn’t put fireworks or any effort into us spending over 1k here. The staff was very nice but the management is terrible. My company used to do our holiday parties here. More to come, but needless to say, if you want a good time and hostility don’t come here.

A couple of my friends and I got a booth for a birthday party. It went great. service was super helpful and kind. The music was great throughout the night. A lot of other clubs music only starts to get “fun” by like 12am but this place has good music throughout the entire night. I definitely would recommend it for anyone that wants bottle service or just a great night out!

I'm not sure where the first, second, third and fourth social clubs are, but I found the fifth! Upscale décor & good DJ playing top 40. They have 3 bars....3! My G&T was $6 & beers are $10. Younger crowd when I was there (mostly 20-30s). I only went to the nightclub (upstairs).

This club is amazing! I used to party here 25 years ago & it’s just as great now. The atmosphere is elegant, fun & cozy. The staff is so kind & courteous. I recently attended their pyjama party & it was such a blast. A room full of complimentary sweets & Jell-O shots . Beds everywhere & pillow fights. Can’t wait for the next one.

We had a wonderful experience here. My boyfriend and i celebrated our anniversary and made a reservation for summerlicious. We were greeted and escorted from entry all the way to our table. Our server, ROB, was amazing who not only recommended good wine and food but always made sure that we were being looked after. The food was of course thoughtfully crafted and exceptional! We even had a mini surprise of a happy anniversary chocolate made by the staff which made our evening even more special. Overall, the experience was unlike any other restaurants and we are definitely coming back here!

This place is incredible!!! We had our wedding reception here at the end of November! The staff is incredible! Planning with Jamie was a breeze, she made everything so simple from the start! Andre is amazing, from the tasting to the day of events, he kept us in the loop and made the night run so smoothly! The chefs who created our menu were wonderful and all of our guests were very pleased. We did Canapés and food stations and it worked out really well! The space itself is incredible, no need for decorations (which was a bonus). Our friends and family have referred to it as “the best wedding they have ever been to!” If you are getting married or just want a nice place to grab a bite, hit this place up! You will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to celebrate our 1 year anniversary here! 💕

Let me start by saying Emma is such an asset to this location, I genuinely have never experienced service of this level. For starters contacting her was not mission impossible, she answered emails within the hours and calls and texts instantly, I genuinely don’t know how she does it. She truly made me feel like she cared about my event when I’m sure she also had 15 others going that night, she personally greeted us at the door, set us up and CONSTANTLY came and checked in on us. I truly have never experienced service like this at any bar or club (anywhere in the world) let alone Toronto. Making reservations on King st was an absolute nightmare, service was rude, staff was rude, emails would go unanswered etc. EMMA IS A ROCKSTAR. Did I mention it was also her birthday the night of my reservation and she still took care of us. She accommodated us bringing some cupcakes earlier in the day and brought them out. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better service provider. Now as for Fifth, the music was UNREAL, hip hop,rnb and top 40, that DJ was phenomenal! The club itself is spacious, so clean and such a good time! My group all decided this will be where we host future events! Thank you Emma and thank you the fifth

The place is fun but the staff is 50/50. Some is great, some could definitely have more class when it comes to dealing with customers.

What a transformation at the social club! Had a birthday celebration here and booked our own section. It was a memorable night and for all the good reasons. Emma was the most gracious host as usual and I love the new separate lounge set up. You really can feel safe within your own bubble. We appreciate the thoughtful details and safety measures put in place.

After all of these years still a great spot Was great running into an old friend behind the bar.

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day, where they were offering a set 5 course meal. Food was fantastic, everything tasted great. The only underwelming thing was the bread. The two beefs they served as the mains were incredibly tender and tasty. My boyfriend and I agreed that this was one of our top meals ever. Was $75+$30 for pairings each + tax and tip. Our server was very professional too and the lady who took our picture was very kind.

I only have had a positive experience at the fifth. Specifically, I have found Brooke to be a very accompanying bartender that services all my needs. Brooke is the only reason I continue to keep coming back to the fifth. Very thankful to have such considerate service!

This is one of the best kept secret of Toronto food scene - Authentic French Cuisine. The resto is relaxed serving up modern French cuisine in a gorgeous restored older building. Check out their menu ahead and have a delicious night out here in the six!

Super clean, awesome fare and great music. Was happy to come and enjoy a clean and inviting environment after being so disappointed at another spot called Bar244 around the corner. My friends and I decided to leave and find somewhere else and we did! Great spot!

I fell in love with this venue after photographing a wedding here. Cool and eclectic decor with lots of places for great photos. Some of the best food I've had at a wedding and I go to A LOT lol.

This place has a great vibe. Very young crowd with high energy. The Dj was great, except he has no idea who peso pluma is. How in the world do you not know who the #1 artist is in Latin America and call yourself a DJ. he knocked bad bunny off the charts months ago and you don’t know? Toronto is diverse, and a melting pot of culture. He told me that no one at the club would know his music. 🧐 this was hysterical. Dancing Bear was fun and different, Drinks were fine, bartenders were fast. Cool place if you are 18-23 and don’t know #1 billboard artist.

Been to this club a few times now. Atmosphere is up to par for a fun night out, but nothing exceptional. Most DJ's spin classic top 50 hits and throwbacks, but the energy doesn't tend to rise too high in the room. Booths tend to have random people walk through to access other parts of the club. Not a bad choice!

Just re-discovered this spot and I gotta tell you we felt so energized and alive!! We got a booth (highly recommend and it really makes financial sense too) for 10 of us. Super comfy! They brought us shots to welcome us and pizza at midnight! We felt right at home. Still buzzing and it's days after! We will back.

Just visited the fifth social club this past Saturday and had the greatest time. Yaz our server was amazing as usual, she will make your night 100%. All the staff are super nice and friendly. This is definitely my favourite bar downtown!!
