The Asian cashier taking care of cover $ is a thief. She tried to rob the guy in front of me and the bouncer noticed and corrected her. Then she tried to rob me (not give me my change (($20)) Rudee is a nice guy but he should really take care of that thief managing people’s cash. I can only imagine how many people she robbed. I was rejected entry because I middle fingered her which is totally acceptable for the reputation of vertigo. One should not disrespect staff. But thieves trigger me and I couldn’t hold it.

Unfortunately I had a unpleasant encounter with a aggressive male who tried to lunge at me when I declined his advances. The bouncer saw what was happening and immediately jumped in between and reassured me that if any dude started making me feel uncomfortable, to come find staff because they have a zero tolerance policy about that stuff. I really really appreciated that and it because of the staffs care, it didn't dampen my first experience here. I will return again. Decent music, great staff, and an overall pleasant crowd. Thank you :)

Absolutely dreadful experience at this club! The bouncers seemed to be running their own racket, creating two lines and demanding an additional $20 'bypass fee' from ticket holders. It felt like a complete scam, and the whole process was chaotic. Not the kind of treatment you expect when you've already purchased a ticket. Definitely won't be returning to this establishment anytime soon.

Vertigo was a nightmare! Me and my friend went on a Saturday night and there were a total of 10 individuals. All 10 individuals had weird vibes. The security guard told us it was the “the best club in the world”. We walk in and the Asian cashier makes us pay $50. Then we go get a drink (VODKA CRAN) and it consist of 1/16 shot of vodka and the total was $20. I feel robbed. I feel betrayed. I lost all trust and respect for vertigo and vertigo attenders. Do not go here!!! We left 10 minutes later…. And didn’t get our money back! #sad

I truly have nothing but great things to say about this venue! It looks nice inside, washrooms are clean, the security and front door staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the artists they bring are amazing. I find this place generates a great crowd unlike other after hours spots which is perhaps why their brand is dedicated to labelling it a "late night destination". As a woman, I feel safe going here with my girlfriends or in mixed crowds. I find it funny that people get upset that they don't have alcohol considering it's illegal to sell alcohol in Ontario past 2am. However, if you want a place to grab a drink I strongly recommend Bar 808... which is the venue right above Vertigo. Spicy margarita's are my favorurite and it's beautiful inside!

The staff that deal with entry and cover are awful. A poor girl had $10 stolen from her by staff. The place is PITCH BLACK with just a few RGB bars lighting up the dance floor. I don’t understand why they can’t have more lighting, it’s scary, especially as a woman. Also, the cover being $25 for each person is ridiculous, especially for what you get.

i went here with friends as a recommendation. it was the most anticlimactic experience of my life. waited in line for 20 mins before getting in, paying a $25 cover fee per person (the guy ahead of us only paid $20 per person). when we got inside there was maybe 10 people in the entire club so i’m not sure why they made us wait so long. music was just horrible, nobody dancing and no alcohol. it was so dark and we could barely see anything but people lurking in corners. what am i paying a $25 cover charge for if there is a bad atmosphere and no booze to make it better. the 15 mins we spent there we were looking at other places to go. when we left they were charging people a $30 cover fee. total rip off. the basically rob you here pls don’t go unless you want to pay $30 to sit in a dark dirty corner on your phone.

Title: Disappointing Experience: Rude Staff, Terrible Music, and Creepy Crowd Review: I recently visited Vertigo with high hopes of having a fun night out. Unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. I feel compelled to share my disappointment with others who may be considering visiting this club. First and foremost, the staff at Vertigo were shockingly rude and inattentive. From the moment I entered, their lack of professionalism was evident. It's disheartening to be treated so poorly when you're a paying customer. The music selection was another major letdown. The DJ seemed completely out of touch with the crowd, playing a monotonous mix that lacked any energy or creativity. Perhaps the most uncomfortable aspect of the night was the crowd. It felt unwelcoming and even downright creepy. I witnessed inappropriate behavior and unwarranted advances, which made me question the safety and security of the establishment. It's essential for a club to foster a safe and inclusive environment, and unfortunately, vertigo failed to do so.

The best after hours place in the city. As a group of friends we have always amazing time! You will see from the photos how crowded we are each time which is almost every weekend :)) Special thanks to Ali who is always doing his best at the door.

Everything was great. Great music, loved the vibe. However, the night I was there, there seemed to be a ring of thieves who took advantage of the dark dance floor to pick-pocket the crowd. Not only was my wallet swiped TWICE, but multiple people in the crowd found their bags opened with missing phones and wallets! We told multiple security personnel and they just shook their head basically implying ‘what a shame, sucks to be you.’ No action. Calling the credit card companies at 2am from a party is not it. Apart from the thieves, everything else was fine. Not a fan of the cover charge in addition to the $5.00 bottles of water.

Sketchy atmosphere, cover price is expensive, paid 50 bucks for a fast pass and cover, but its totally not worth it. Pretty sure some random guest pretending to be staff tried to get our money saying he could get us in. So the crowd is shady too.

Vertigo is my go to spot for late night house and techno music. One of the few places around that puts music first and always showcases top local talent. It’s always great to grab a few drinks at Bar 808 before hand and stroll right down afterwards for an espresso to keep the energy going for the night / morning.

This is like a mystical place. The truth is that from the moment you enter the staff is very attentive, respectful and helpful. Then you find a coffee bar which is one of the best I have ever tried. The merchandise they have is very cool and the material is very good. I say this because I bought a t-shirt. Then the dance floor which is very spacious. I had so much fun this weekend. If you love to dance that’s the place to go.

This place is a total scam! We had to wait in line for an hour to get into Jamie Jones music event and even though we had tickets we had to pay an extra $20 per person to get in just because the bouncers had created an "fast" lane or better called a "fraud" lane! Also they had sold extra tickets so there was not enough space inside to even breathe! It was one of the worst experienced I ever had! Will never come to Vertigo ever again!!

Edit: Guys this is a techno club so dance. This is a place to have fun. Not just stand randomly on the dancefloor. Not to act like linebacker as soon as you see a girl and push everyone out of your way. Check out my review underneath about venue and how it's run. But wow the people coming in are just ruining it. Amazing venue. This place is an after hours with great music, lighting and a killer sound system. But probably the best ran night venue in Toronto. The staff and security are amazing. Truly amazing people work to provide a great service. I do wish they had more stalls in the bathroom. Maybe make one of those private bathrooms into multiple stalls and only keep one private bathroom.

One of the best late night destinations in Toronto with a newly opened bar above it. Sound system is on point and music is always carefully curated. I had the privilege of DJing there and they were very professional. The people that frequent it are always friendly and I have made many long lasting friendships there myself. I would recommend anyone new to the scene to check this place out!

Always a great vibe inside Vertigo. The music and sound is always on point. The outdoor patio is great to chat and meet new and old people in the scene. To top off an already great experience, they serve free espresso and the barista is the best! The new addition upstarts (Bar 808) is a great place to have a few drinks before heading downstairs. It serves until 2 am and then everyone heads downstairs for some awesome underground music vibes. The staff is professional and great at making everyone feel safe!

Two dear female friends went here last night to see Cassy and Kenny Glasgow and couldn’t stop talking today how unsafe they felt. They were shook today and that icky feeling that every woman knows after being groped, hit on and swarmed by guys. The sign at the front of this club says they’re not responsible for the actions inside their club, so they didn’t feel safe going to security. WOMEN if you have ever experienced that here SAY SOMETHING! Make some noise so we don’t allow our sisters to feel scared . Don’t frequent establishments that don’t protect women.

Last weekend, my phone got stolen at vertigo, I reported it immediately to the staff, where all of them started moving so fast to find the thieves by checking cameras and searching the place, but the thieves had already left the place, last night the same thieves came back again to vertigo, and the amazing team there noticed them immediately and arrested them, and they got my phone back for me, everyone works there showed me so much love and care the way they did everything, but also how they felt happy for me to get my phone back. I've been going to vertigo for almost 4 years now, and I always found the staff so friendly and nice, but so professional at the same time, and this incident proved to me that it is a nice and safe space for girls who like to go out to enjoy their time alone and feel protected, just make sure to report anything could happen with you to the staff.

Used to be good. Now few people at almost all times. Even though it’s less popular: - Still fake line up (both to hide how it’s dead inside and also to continue to supplement doormen who shamelessly offer line bypass ($20), not low key about it. - Still ridiculously priced cover at $30, sure they are making up for no alcohol, and that works for some but not for many who no longer go - The crowd is eccentric now. It used to be a fair mix of all types, young and old, boys and girls that can dance. Lots of cool people. Now it’s about 95% boys, older and don’t really dance. Every week it’s worse and worse as no one wants that environment. Shenanigans would be fine if there was actually people inside. It may survive as the only thing around late night for dance music, but hopefully Toronto has a much better replacement soon.

One of, if not the best destinations for consistent underground dance music in the city. Lots of space and area to dance, with a particular emphasis on safety and security. Serving espresso and various other snacks near the entrance, which is perfect for refuelling on a break from the dance floor. A great late night option for any night out.

Been here a few times Sat nights. Decent afterhours club. Always busy. Good sound and lighting system. But very poor air ventilation. Also pretty male dominant crowed. Cover charge $30.

Doesn’t hurt to come early, amazing set by Techoma tonight. $25 cover, there’s a bar upstairs where you can get drinks before going into Vertigo. Coat check $3.25, free espressos and cookies, soda and Gatorade available for $4+ I liked that the bathroom was clean, it wasn’t too warm or stuffy, and the sound system was quite nice too. Few scattered couches and tables if you need to take a break. However, I wish there was some more lighting other than a couple LED light strips.

Recently went for the first time and absolutely loved it! Diverse, respectful crowd. Incredible sound system and EDM music. Atmosphere was spot on for an after hours. There was a line which moved methodically and quickly. The cover was what it was and was worth every $$. See you again soon Vertigo!

If you don’t love EDM then don’t go here. I arrived at 2am on Friday night and the place was still dead, and the DJ played the same thing for an hour. There was no variation in the music so it was quite boring. The cover price was way too expensive for the time we were there. FYI the cover price is $25 but free for me because it was my birthday.

I lost my phone here the other day and I thought it was for sure gone forever. I went there after a couple days (Bar 808 upstairs since they have the same management) and the manager and staff took the time to take my information and take me to the lost and found, it was there! I want to say a BIG Thank You for the amazing customer service. Oh and of course the music, sound system and vibe in Vertigo is top notch. Good times! 😎

I’ve been to Vertigo many times, and I must say the consistency and level of professionalism impresses me more and more every time. From the friendly front door staff and cashier, crystal clear sound-system/lighting, and the sexy sound-garden to chill out in... and not to mention their ultra well maintained washrooms... Especially as a girl, I love their safe environment to party in. 💃🏼❤️💃🏼❤️

This is first time that I go to an after hour in Toronto. The first thing I have to say is that it is a very clean place, the bathrooms too. I never thought finding coffee in a club and let me tell you it was delicious. The music is very appropriate and the sound system is spectacular. The entrance was 40 dollars and I paid 20 dollars to skip the line, which seemed fair to me. I will be back soon.

I have to say that this club is one of the best and safe club in Toronto. They take pride in security of the patrients and the venue. The present djs that are current on the scene the provide the best in Techno and House music. The Security staff are friendly and easy to approach with any concerns. It's one of my favourite spots. The good vibes and upgrades to the club adds to the fabulous experience. The sound and lighting system is superb. Cheers

Save your money and don't come here. First of all, we came on a friday and it was dead. Second o all the split was 90% guys 10^ girls. Lastly we tried dancing with just each other and a security guard told us to dance with our own group. Trust me and don't waste your money!

Nice club, small and cozy. The music was great, however the cover charge should have been cheaper considering the size of the club. The crowed was a mix of gay and straight… the bouncers kept chasing gay guys who take their shirt off to ask them to put it back on… I thought that was funny. We were charged $30 which is more on the high end of cover. Maybe reduce the cover in the future because I don’t feel the club is worth that expensive cover…. it is not like Stereo nightclub in Montreal sry!

Our friends were visiting from UK and we bought tickets for the Danny Tenaglia show at Vertigo Nightclub, wanted to surprise our friends. What a night we got there and got in even though everyone had purchased tickets there was a long line up to get in however you had an option to pay extra to get in as priority at the door so I paid extra not to lineup. It was out of this world we partied all night music show everything was ace+. Unbelievable, it was worth every penny! You will see us over and over and over again!!! Thank you Vertigo for a superb night!

I have been there a couple of times and the experience has been amazing. The sound system and music is great. Moreover, Vertigo has the best staff ever I always feel very welcoming there, it's like my second home. Rudeenik is the best host ever and the music he plays is unbelievable. He is definitely the "soul of the party".The club has new lockers where you can keep your phones safe. Don't forget to check the new merchandise, I have already got my hoodie and I love it. Honestly, Vertigo has been innovating as I always see something new there. Besides, there is a bar above Vertigo called 808 the music is great and the cocktails are damn good.🖤 V 🖤808🖤

Sure, here's an expanded version of the review: "I recently visited this convenience store and I have to say, I was really impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I noticed that the store was very clean and well-organized. It was easy to navigate and find what I needed, which is always a plus. The selection of products in this convenience store is quite impressive. They have a great variety of snacks, drinks, and other essentials. I was especially pleased to see that they carried some specialty items that I haven't seen in other stores in the area. It's clear that the store's owners take pride in offering a wide range of high-quality products to their customers. The staff at this convenience store were also great. They were very friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in the door. They were happy to answer any questions I had and offered some helpful suggestions on products I might like. Their customer service was really top-notch and made my shopping experience even more enjoyable. One thing I appreciated about this convenience store was the prices. They were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products and the level of service provided. It's nice to be able to get what you need without breaking the bank, and this store definitely delivers in that regard. Overall, I had a great experience shopping at this convenience store. It's clear that the owners and staff take pride in offering a high-quality shopping experience to their customers. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for one. Good night folks Amazing

it was ok. the dj’s are ok. the music could be louder. I guess because you’re limited for after hours you kinda don’t have a choice. it was ok. music was ok. kinda all over the place. mostly men. when I say mostly, it’s like 98.9%. the wait line to get in is long even though no one is inside. like I said it was ok. but, I won’t be going back.

It’s one of few places that has after hours party here in Toronto so not bad but I think they should improve their sound system and air system

Vertigo is the best after hours club in Toronto and accommodated me and my friends unlike any other nightclub. Thanks for the service!!

A drugged girl tried to rob me and instead of taking her out of the room, the guard did nothing, on the contrary, he scolded me for taking my hands out of my bag hahahaha. Very small and dirty bathroom and very drugged and aggressive people, it is the first time that in an electronic music place there are such bad and aggressive people, I still prefer CODA. Don't waste your money, just because it's open until 7:00 in the morning doesn't mean it's a good place, there are private electronic after parties at the same price and of better quality and with a more pleasant audience.

Such a great place! Had a great time with my friends; the music is great, the vibe is like an European after party, and not sure why, but the place smell amazing! Super recommended 🫶

👍 Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
