A small museum with lots of potential! (Especially given that the museum does not actually receive funding from the Police Service.) The concept is excellent and I passed by the curator by chance and had a little chat. She is a very friendly and warm person and you could tell she is dedicated to the museum! I enjoyed the interactive features; for example, you could ride on the motorcycle and have your photo taken. However, many of the lights in the gallery were not open/broken, making it difficult to see many of the exhibits/read the descriptions. And as another reviewer pointed out, some of the cases were dusty and the exhibits overall could use some updates. I understanding that it's challenging given the limited funding, so I'm really hoping that the museum receives more funding, as it's really neat to trace the history of a type of service that is so relevant and crucial to our everyday lives. Note that for individual visits, you no longer need to book in advance; just come by during its opening hours and pass through security at the front entrance. The gift shop closed early during my visit (not sure if that's a more long-term hour change), but I'd love to come back to the gift shop and take a look.

Small museum located inside a working police office. It’s on the first floor, left of main entrance. The museum is free. You have to go through a search and X-ray machine before you can enter. It has a limited collection but very interesting if you are interested in the history of policing in Toronto. Some of the interactive displays seemed broken.

Interesting museum which gives lots of detail about the history of Toronto's police force. Really enjoyable and donations only for entry fee. Spent a good hour walking round looking at all the exhibits.

This is such a beautiful place to visit. It's a neat and compact museum which contains many interesting collections of Toronto's past. There is a police bike, a cut side if an 80's Plymouth police car with some interesting interiors, hats or medals of police officers who sacrificed their lives and interesting artifacts from various crimes committed within the city. My son was thrilled with the Plymouth Car. There is so much to see and admire about the city's police at this place. Everything is very well detailed and informative as well. Also the place is very well maintained. There is also a donation box which the many of the citizens have duly and rightly donated. There is also a tiny shop too. Unfortunately not many people visit this place. Admire the efforts of Toronto City's Police.

Cool place to visit, free. And a gift shop to purchase some souvenirs. Most important information for this place: free on street parking 12-3 PM? They are ready to toll after 3

Free exhibition in a working Police station. If you want to kill ten or twenty minutes then this isn't a bad spot. Be warned the exhibits are a bit dated and in need of dusting and you need to go through a security check on entry.

I visited the museum today for a University research paper, but I have to say the Museum is filled with historical context. It is a neat small museum that gives you a historical background on the growth of Toronto and the historical background of the Toronto Metropolitan Police. You come to find that there were a lot of adaptations scientifically and technologically that helped the Toronto Police advance and adapt throughout time. The only drawback is that the displays need to be cleaned as there is a lot of dust settling. Plus, it would make for a better presentation. Overall, if you have time I would highly suggest visiting the small museum, but they do search you before entering the building.

This is a place in the museum to respect and honour the history of the Police Force in Toronto. This also has a place to honour the fallen officers in the line of duty.

Cool place for my police obsessed son. There’s cool stories, very good read. Only bad thing is the gift store wasn’t open and we visited twice already. I guess we’ll go again in the summer and hope for the best.

Free! Smaller museum, but was much more extensive than expected. The museum displays a vast amount of artifacts, displaying the development of police uniforms, technology, and vehicles throughout the century. There was an interesting exhibit about detective cases that have been solved over the years. Also, a real historic police station and jail cell. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Easy and fast service. This is their head quarters on College St. Parking is not easy to get, but there is a public parking close by, and you do not need more than 30 mis to get your business done. It only costs $4 make it count!

Smooth process at 9am. Really nice and respectful officer's who screened me. Many tellers to choose from, oh my. I had no problems requesting what I needed for employment services and with the correct identification and forms it was smooth crusing! 😎 Then it was off to work on such a hot morning!

Nice little museum and quite interesting. However could do with an update. Uniforms on display could use a dusting. Glass cases give annoying reflections making the text hard to read. Text to several items in such small print it is barely legible. Interactive displays partly broken. No recent items or information. Don’t think it does justice to the work of the Toronto police.

DeAnn Bestwick deserves to be fired from the school and arrested. She is so mean. Please give her imprisonment forever right now please. Please take her away. She is a threat to the school.

I am a Forces candidate and Toronto Police impressed me so much that I have seized being haughty like I used to be; I mean these guys take bullets for us and all they get is hate, but they never give up.

Museum was closed to the public and the gift shop has a nice selection of clothing. Unfortunaly their sizes only went to XL and I need a 3 XL.
