I haven't been to a production here in more than 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of this small theatre. Seats have good leg room and nice cushion. The staff are super helpful and friendly. If you have the opportunity to see a show here, do it! Great little theatre. Would highly recommend 'Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of)'. Hilarious show with a strong cast!

Industrial clean atmosphere. Good acoustics and friendly staff. We were there December 2021 with threat of Omicron variant. Mask mandates strictly enforced and bar closed. 😟 great night out however. Will return and recommend.

"Lasting Impressions", is exceptional. If you are an art lover you will weep with joy to see art come to life. I was elevated with the talent of these geniuses, Vincent Van Gogh, Eva Gonzales, Claude Monet etc, 3D motions and the sound tracks of this production. Technology has come far, you won't be disappointed.

First time in this theatre. Smaller than other Mirvish venues, not fancy. Sight lines were great, acoustics were good. We did not utilize but there were bars on each level. Green p parking close by and easy subway access. I am looking future opportunities to attend events here.

Great little theatre in the heart of the city - intimate feel but not too small. Good amenities - coat check available, elevator for balcony seating, small but selection of snacks and beverages for intermission (and you can order what you want in advance, handy!) If you're a CAA member you get free coat check and coffee - nice perk. Saw PIAF/DIETRICH and it was wonderful - perfect show for this venue!

Quite a spectacular show.Tacky take out snack food, poor presentation and poor quality and not enough for two, and expensive to boot. Wine over priced. Would rather have paid $20 more admission with better quality food.

We took the kids to see Potted Potter on July 13 and we all loved it! It is a fast paced and hilarious performance that was enjoyable for both adults and kids. The theater is not large, but it is very comfortable and we had great views from the third row in the upper level.

My wife and I while we were visiting Toronto were kindly invited by some good friends to attend the play Piaf/Dietrich at the CAA Theatre on Yonge St. This was the first time we had been at this playhouse, and although we found it a little small, our seats were definitely quite comfortable. The sightline, lighting, and sound were excellent and most importantly the performance itself was superb. Two thumbs up from us to the CAA Theatre.

Absolutely gorgeous theatre! I had never been here before but it was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were all incredible and the premiere of Lasting Impressions was amazing.

We saw Uncle Vanya and had a great time. We sat front row lower balcony and the view was excellent. The actors use microphones so the sound is loud and clear whenever you’re sitting. Leg room is very decent but if you need to stretch your legs, it is insufficient. I am not into theatre and I really enjoyed Uncle Vanya. The story doesn’t really go anywhere but the acting is stellar. There are a bunch of intense scenes that are simply riveting to watch. These actors are so skilled. Despite being a serious play, it is sprinkled with many moments of needed comic relief.

Great place for attending plays. The organizers are professional and the stage is well-organized.

Sound was excellent. Balcony seats had a great view because of slope but the seats were a bit uncomfortable and lacked leg room. Not built for tall people! I managed to find a diagonal position that was comfortable enough.

It's a wonderful smaller theater that has great views wherever you sit (we sat by the upper balcony)! The staff were friendly, and the experience was great! Due to its small space, you'll need to be careful walking up and down the stairs so take your time.

it was a nice experience, theatre is kindda small and the chair is not comfortable and giving me back pain and not enough space to stretch my legs.

Cute, older theatre. We caught the production of No Change To The Weather - A New Foundland Musical here. Appreciate the experience. P.S.: Unlike Broadway and many other theatres in other countries, food and drinks are not allowed in the theatre, only in the lobby. Still, we enjoyed ourselves.

Saw the Bare Naked Ladies, fab time all COVID protocols in place, felt comfortable. Perfect ecostics, small intimate venue only problem I'm 6'2 and the seating is tight. Still worth seeing the concert.

The pace is a bit stiff and feels very packed. We could not move our legs during the show. My friend enjoyed the show but I didn’t like it so much.

Saw BNL, the sound was great but seats a little tight due to being an older venue. Traffic to get there was brutal but the Green P parking was close by. A good evening!

Good sight lines even from the balcony. Seats a little cramped and uncomfortable but to be expected from a nice, small theater.

The show we watched was wonderful and the staff were great. My only issue was the food wasn't very good-and pre packaged. I'm not sure if this makes me an uncultured heathen or not.

The tables are far too tiny for comfort. That’s particularly true when you are sharing a group of two tables for 4 people. And some people are oversized which makes it even more unbearable. The seating plan did not fully reflect the setup.

It's a bit dated and front foyer is too small to accommodate the # of people it can hold. Despite this for this type of music concert it worked. Actually surprised

Great location, easily accessible by car or subway. Excellent sound system; smaller in size makes it more intimate; closer interaction with the performers. Six guitars was very refreshing.

Wonderful venue right in the heart of downtown Toronto, with a caliber of performances that rivals (or surpasses) any of the larger venues in the city!

Small but comfy with good sightlines. Saw God is a Scottish Drag Queen and loved it.

Amazing seating. No one in your way and lots of leg space. Elevator and good acoustics. Friendly staff especially one guy was like guy smiley! Just need to fix or make people aware of the slope after u exit the washrooms. Myself and another lady wobbled when we walked out.

Excellent: Simon & Garfunkel Story - nice backgrounder on both bring a lighter for “By the light”

Went for the Simon and Garfunkel story. It was a fantastic musical storytelling experience. The theater is old and the seats are small, but it was an enjoyable experience. The crowds were also well behaved.

We saw The Land Acknowledgment here and it was brilliant. So your mileage may vary depending on what you see here. Close to transit and lots of great dining options nearby.

Nice theatre with friendly staff and decent sight lines but the seats are SO SMALL. If you're a larger person, you're going to be at least very uncomfortable, and might be unable to take your seat.

I saw the Mirvish production of, "God is a Scottish drag Queen" A one man, stand up comedian routine, that will Keep you laughing through the 2 hours show. High seats in the balcony are a tight tight fit for XL people or just regular ladies like myself who need to stretch out my long kegs.. good luck. My only complaint, but well worth the trip into #Toronto #416

I've been here numerous times over the years and its various brandings. Great location, sightlines and acoustics. It is not uncommon for men in particular, who carry more weight in the upper half of the body, to experience pain sitting in uncomfortable seats. Within minutes of arriving we both knew we were in trouble. My seat was hard and lumpy. The pain was made worse by the fact this production had no intermission. Unless you're seeing something you really love you may want to think beforehand about the comfort of your derrière.

As a bigger guy, the seats were a little small, but other than that the theatre was great.

The venue was great, the seats were great, and the show was funny and we had a great time.
