We attended the Native Child Centre Powwow and it was an amazing atmosphere. The park was very accessible via parking and transit. Plus since it’s right next to the mall we were able to get drinks and use the washroom without any issues through the day (since we didn’t want to use the opera potties). Thanks for hosting a wonderful event and hope to attend next year.

Dufferin Grove Park is a gem there is a space for everyone here. Great friendly vibe and seasonal farmers market in Thursday. The part near Dufferin is littered w butt a and smells, that can be fixed with a bit of thought, guidance and communal involvement. Really nice after the rain in the summers.

Great playground with lots of unique structures. There's areas for all ages, a 4 person see saw and a kids outdoor kitchen. Some stuff is starting to look dated and it's not great when it's muddy, but it's got charm. Good sledding Hill for smaller kids. It's been ages but have fond memories of visiting the farmers market, but I live too far to come for weekday markets. Today I discovered they have a city run fire pit too.

Very nice, friendly and family park and with the great convenience of having dufferin mall right in front of it, the only downside of it is that it became quite pack in summer with a lot of junkies and homeless people so you just have to be extra careful if you are bringing children.

This park actually needs modifications, ideal for training in football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, yoga, farmer's fair, exhibitions, It's not liked by most of the peoples, even children park facilities are rarely enjoyed by childrens. Homeless persons r seen mostly sitting. Sometimes some friends enjoy picnics with grilling,

A great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Little Portugal. Great play area for the kiddies, with big splash pad to cool off in. Lots of green lawn to enjoy a picnic spread on. Thursdays the park hosts a farmers market with lots of fresh produce. Check out the wood fired bread oven and grab a loaf, or bake your own

The outdoor hockey rink renovation is outstanding. The new chillers under the rink keep the ice in great condition. I've played shinney 4 times so far since Dec 1 and the ice along the boards is level and smooth. The extra high fences around the boards keep the puck where it should be. Probably the best outdoor rink in the city.

Beautiful huge park. Lots of activities: table tennis, skate park, fire pits, garden, sand volleyball, playground, baseball/softball, picnic tables, hammocks, tree swing, & bike paths. Plenty of squirrels to feed as well.

Amazing park for families and kids ! I went around 9 ish in the morning with my 10 months old. So calm and beautiful . Less crowded and peaceful with few kids around . All of them looked so happy and running around play area. I guess it was raining earlier that day . It made the scenery dramatically beautiful. Great place for picnics in summer.

It has many trees and benches, so much garbage on the ground - ripped up paper and food containers, partially eaten food - most of a watermelon rotting and fast food with bugs on the ground and benches. We need some parks and rec. people to get to cleaning so this park can be beautiful again. Also mabe fine people that litter.

Love the mud place and a wooden playground. Good place for kids. Why I give 3 star because to many homeless people taking over this beautiful park. That's a pity.

The most relaxing park in Downtown Toronto. Not to full with just the right amount of people in it. It's a lovely park to walk through and also a great place to eat lunch or have a snack in. Such a nice communal park.

Every time I go out shopping I pass by here and have some coffee. Very beautiful colours in the fall and very green during spring and summer. I wish there were a clean bike trail.

Nice quaint spot to enjoy a beautiful evening! Very close to dufferin mall and you can walk over. Has benches and seating area peppered around but could add more. Remember to take your own chairs or bedsheets to lay down if going in large groups! Has swings and a children’s area to keep the kids busy. Smoking 9m around the kids area not allowed. Did see people doing bbq. Did not see any rest rooms. The mall restrooms could be used. Closest parking available is at dufferin mall.

Good park for having a picnic with family or friends. There is very good kids play area and best part is there is mud and shovels lying at one side of park where kids can play, dig with shovel, make paths for water and play with trucks and load mud.. Big Shopping complex with Walmart is nearby.. subway station is near

I highly recommend this parkβ€”it's truly fantastic! One of the highlights is the regular pick-up ultimate games that take place every Sunday. It's incredible to see people come together for this enjoyable activity. If you're searching for a great park to visit, this is definitely the one. Don't miss out!

Beautiful park for family and community events and sports like soccer. Very spacious with lots of areas to catch the sun or sit in the shade. The downside is the length of time it has taken to ren8vate the skating rinks, community center, and basketball court. The cement curbed gardens have taken as long to out in as it takes to build a house. The park needs more security - the vandalism and tagging are out of control, and often, there are areas with a number of loud, obnoxious men drinking.

One of the best parks in the city. It has a farmer market on Thursdays from May to October, a basketball court, soccer field, "beach" volleyball, pizza oven, playground and a strawbale house. Close proximity to Dufferin subway station and the Dufferin mall.

  • 5/5 Nancy H. 9 months ago on Google
The Thursday farmers market is excellent! I especially recommend Rogers Ranch and the oil vendor.

Love this inner city park. Two fire pits. Lots of areas to spread out your blanket and picnic. Amazingly the city sounds disappear. Areas for baseball, basketball, soccer, ice rink in winter and boarding in summer. Fun playground for kids and some days a local farmers market. Paved areas for walkers or wheelchairs. Accessible by subway, one block south of Dufferin subway. Parking on side streets or park in the lot at in Dufferin Mall, directly across the street. The mall has 2 ice cream shops! So, when High Park or Trinity Bellwoods are too crowded, this is my next neighbourhood park on the list.

Great location for dogs and a very lively environment. Between 4-6 there are lots of animals out and city life is really booming!

  • 5/5 Shaughn 2 years ago on Google
I like how it operates nearly autonomously from the city. They have a lot of ways to get involved in community events and has firepit rentals. Great meeting place with lots of greenery and places got children to play and sports fields

I love parks but one park I am astounded by is Dufferin Grove Park and why - it's because it has its own autonomy by that I mean - the grounds are located in one of the busiest parts of the city. I would say it's a sanctuary after a day of shopping at Dufferin Mall.

  • 4/5 Edith H. 5 months ago on Google
The only issue I had was where to park my van, everybody used the parking at the dufferin Mall which was very full because of the event and other things going around. The park itself is very nice, there is places where you can sit.

A very convenient green spot in middle of residential and commercial. Locals would picnic here on summer.

This has to be the best park in toronto, kids and adults alike love to play at the water way because its just a fun thing. The park is very big and has many activities and is located in a great area. If you have kids i highly recommend bringing them here because the memory is unforgettable and will stick with them. I remember when my parents used to bring me here, very fun!

An all around wonderful park that's focused on community. The City of Toronto has made this an official park for tent residents. As a family, we've been meeting other families there as homeschoolers, birthday party goers, for Toronto Veg Families' annual summer vegan picnic! A wading pool, dirt and tap play area, and great old, yet maintained play equipment! There's fire pits, a pizza oven, a skating rink, skate park, and weekly farmer's market!

I walked my dog here twice a day for many years, years ago so it holds sentimental value for me. Also lots of skating back then & I see that part is being fully upgraded. A well used, not large, city park public space & facility.

This park has everything! Such a vibrant and beautiful community place. Visited the farmers market here today and was so happy to see families enjoying the beautiful green space.

This park has been around before I was born. So over 36 years. It's a park that is right beside Dufferin Mall so it is very covienient to go shopping and then spend some time in the park or vis versa. Lots of benches and open grass to have a seat on. I bring my kids to the playground. The playground is okay. It definetely needs a well deserved update. It has been the same since I was a child but children today still love and enjoy it. There is a soccer field, they now have a small sand volleyball court, concrete ping pong table, small wading pool that's open with a lifeguard in the summer, there is a big children's sand play area with shovels and a water tap to dig and build sand castles and maybe get muddy with the water. Lots of small hills that the kids can slide down in the wintertime. There was an outdoor skating rink and basketball court but that is under renovation right now. It's a nice park especially for all the surrounding families. I give it 4 stars because some features need an upgrade but I still love going there. You could even go to the Dufferin Mall to Walmart or No Frills or the food court and buy some food and have a picnic in the park, it's that close.

I have been loving this park since I was a toddler and it was just a park. Now it's got farmer's markets, movie nights, pizza making and bonfires. We meet up here for birthdays and for business. A hub of the community with a beautiful library just up the street at Gladestone and Bloor.

  • 5/5 Gabriel K. 2 years ago on Google
Best community vibes! There was a band there, Angel Band. They were like old old old Jazz out of the history books. Amazing and authentic. Social distanced and everyone was so happy

  • 5/5 Charles S. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful park with plenty of benches, a soccer/sports field, lots of shade,.community gardens, toddlers' playground, BBQs, a pizza oven, public washrooms, a farmers' market and Clay and Paper Theatre in summer, and ice skating in winter (a sort of community center building and the outdoor rink, with artificial ice, are undergoing extensive renovations in summer 2022). The park is across from Dufferin Mall so there is food and, importantly on a hot summer day, beer! There is the LCBO & Beer Store...what more do you want?!! Oh, right, well there more than a couple cannabis shops a block north of the park on Bloor St. W between Dovercourt and Ossington.

Awesome fun park! Lots of free play for kids. Love the sand area, it’s full of items donated to the community for use such as the shovels and toy dump trucks. Will return

I like this park because it has a playground where children can have fun, play with sand, in the summer there is an area for children to get wet in the water, you can take your dogs and live with other dogs running since the The park is very big, it has bathrooms, many tables to eat or have a party. Also very close to the mall and bus.
