The food was really great! We had the eggplant parmesian (my husband loved), the onion rings (a little greasy), the cauliflower wings (tasty), truffle mac and cheese (very good), cookies (Sweets from the Earth is always good) and brownie (a little dry). Decor is simple but nice. There was a fake plant that was a little overlapping at my seat. Service was very nice and friendly. I think the only thing that could be improved (other than pricing but all vegan food is expensive) is the bathroom downstairs which was just revolting.

Really friendly staff and cute concept. I personally like the fries and the supreme cactus burger. The supreme fries with cashew cheese are a nice treat. I appreciate that the food is very digest and not greasy - it leaves you feeling comfortably full. Clean interior and fast service too.

Sustainable, fresh, locally-sourced and vegan — love everything about mission statement of Parka. The inside is a bit on the smaller side but very aesthetic and clean (even the washrooms)! The service was extremely friendly and we got our food fairly quickly! They were kind enough to cut our burger into thirds, so we were able to share everything with ease. Food: 4.5/5 (from favourite to least favourite) - The smoky portobello burger was recommended to us and did not disappoint! Mushroom was so juicy and flavourful, and it was clean to eat and very balanced with the guac, onion rings, arugula, and tomato. - Chipotle cauliflower bowl looked like a lot of sauce at first but it was perfect — the sauce is not overpowering and had really good flavour. I do wish they gave a bit more guac! - Truffle mushroom mac and cheese smelled really good and the mushroom with cashew cream and pasta was heavenly! However, the bites without the mushroom were a bit on the bland side and could have more truffle flavour. - Broccoli soup was warm, flavourful, and thick! A little heavy handed with the salt but otherwise a decent choice for a side. We will be coming back!

Ordered takeout and it really wasn’t good. There are much better vegan options in the area. It was a little cheaper but still not worth it. The truffle Mac and cheese was really lacking in flavor and texture, but especially flavor. It was bland and not that gooey texture you expect from (vegan) cheese sauces. I’ve had much much better vegan Mac and cheeses. The main flavor was pepper, no umami. The mushrooms were good but mainly sour in flavor (vinegar). Barely any truffle flavor. It was even lacking salt. Would not order again. The Buffalo cauliflower was even worse. It was completely soggy, not even slightly crunchy. It really could have benefitted from some breading - it seems they only lightly battered it, so when covered with the sauce the coating completely dissolved. It was also much too soft on the inside. Tasted like overcooked steamed soggy cauliflower tossed in sauce, not worth the calories at all. The Buffalo cauliflower at Fresh in comparison is excellent and holds up well in takeout - compared to that this is almost inedible. The chicken fried tofu burger was again disappointing. The tofu again was not crunchy at all nor breaded. It tasted like regular cooked tofu with no coating, not even as crispy as baked tofu - they didn’t even bother to coat it in cornstarch. If it was fried, you couldn’t tell so again not worth the calories of frying. It was also underwhelming - the whole wheat bun tasted awful and the rest of the toppings were lackluster. Barely 1 tsp smear of the guacamole. Overall, avoid their fried foods as they are not breaded or crunchy at all. And even non fried foods like the Mac are bland. If you’re looking for tasty vegan food try Fresh or Treetop burgers or Planta, all in the same takeout radius.

We ordered from Parka for pride festivities in office and the experience was nothing short of excellent. They customized the order to include rainbow colours and the taste was amazing as well. I was very happy with the entire service from coordination to delivery. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I was really excited to try the truffle Mac and cheese. I read really good reviews about the fries so I got them as well. The mac and cheese was good enough to finish but there was no flavour and definitely no truffle flavour. I thought the cheese sauce had potential but it just lacked flavour to me. I’d give them a 3 star. The fries were so dry, I couldn’t finish them. I liked the seasoning so I really wanted to like them but they were just so dry and had zero crunch. Maybe I got a bad batch? I would maybe consider ordering again to try other items that I had my eyes on.

Excellent fast service and aesthetic space for vegan eats + comfort food. Chefs kiss to the excellent new menu items available now at Parka. I really enjoyed trying their new menu items, my favourite was the Jicama Burger and the Greek Arugula Salad. The service was fast and they kept the space very clean. I live the new aesthetic with the plants and the open concept kitchen. You can see all the fresh ingredients come into play. I recommend checking out Parka for tasty vegan eats.

Parka is by far the best vegan restaurant in Toronto. It’s hard to find the right words to describe how good the food is, every time I have anything from the menu I feel that the taste, texture and colour of every ingredient simply have a perfect match as if they were part of a symphony. The place has a wonderful decoration, very colourful and with many beautiful plants. The staff is super friendly and happy to help you giving all the recommendations you want. Mine are: Burgers - Caio’s Mighty Burger - Meatball Marinara - Eggplant Parmesan - Smoky Portobello Mac N’ Cashew Cheese - Truffle Mushroom Bowls - Chipotle Cauliflower Sides - Cauliflower Wings Chicken Fried - Supreme Fries Drinks - Strawberry Beach - Oat Milk Hot Chocolate Desserts - Chocolate Sundae (the best ice cream I’ve ever had) - Chocolate Chip Cookie Smoothies - Chocolate Vanilla

Had the tofu steak sandwich and the butterfly pea tea with the house salad. Great sandwich, especially liked the bun. It was just quite light - I was kind of hungry after. The house salad was probably why (just kale and pickled onion), kind of wish I got fries instead!

the order: _ truffle mac & cheese - smelled heavenly, however when i started to dig in i didn't enjoy it as much as i would have. noodles were al dente, sauce was lacking in flavor, sautéed organic mushrooms were very flavorful. for each spoon, i had to make sure i had some of the mushroom to get a 'kick' of flavor or else it would've tasted plain. overall yummy m&c but needs a kick! the overall: _ i have yet to explore (in detail) the world of vegan food so i decided to try out Parka Food. Sourced locally, reduce food waste, sustainable, focuses on natural ingredients, and breaks down the misconception of plant-based food. choosing Parka Foods means you're choosing to make a positive impact. _ beautiful, beautiful aesthetic and as soon as you walk in, you know exactly what they're all about. _ staff was extremely helpful, helped me choose the order _ excited to try the rest of the menu

During our stop in Toronto, we went here twice for lunch. Cute atmosphere. Delicious and creative planted based menu. Everything we had was great! Service was friendly & quick, we felt safe as vaccine proof was requested & a sign in form was filled out. Place was also very clean. Definitely recommend to all my follow vegans out there!

Quiet, tasty, understated. The burger was great, the fries were better. I couldn’t finish the side of fries it was a lot. The side salad might have been the smarter choice.

Atmosphere and service is good. You order at the counter and they bring it to you 4 stars 3 stars food was good but way too much bun for the portobello sandwich and the salad was not sorted well. I found quite a few leaves which should of been discarded. I ended up eating just half the bun and even then left a bit of it cause it’s just too thick. 4 stars for the 2 onion rings on the sandwich Overall good for a quick bite if you’re in the area.

Love love love!! Everything I tried was so good, the food is delicious and comforting. Must try their burger, best vegan spot for different varieties of burgers and mac & cheese. If you are a vegan in Toronto, you must check out Parka! Vegan 🌱 | Vegetarian friendly 💚

Went here for lunch with a non-vegan friend and we both thought it was delicious! I got the cauliflower wrap and s’mores cookie and she got Mac and Cheese and a juice. We liked everything. The service was pleasant and our food was ready pretty quickly!

Grabbed a few meals here and they were excellent. Special shout-out to the Cauliflower Fritters and the Basil Eggplant Bowl! Those were by far my favorites. Highly recommended for anyone into vegan food!

The food here is sooo good! Love the versatile menu, you can’t get anything bad! Staff are very friendly, you see how hard they are working too. Bathrooms are very clean, the rest of the restaurant is too. Prices are fair considering the location and the local ingredients for the vegan food. Hope we get one north in Newmarket, I would definitely eat there! Great experience, can’t wait to visit again soon.

The strawberry soda was quite good, but the Truffle Mushrooms Mac was honestly gross. It tasted like dirty dish water :( I wish I had tried something else to be able to give a better review but I did not enjoy the food very much at all :(

Ordered the portobello burger with fries to go. It tasted average, and it was really small burger. For $17, I expected a little more. I know everything is getting more expensive, but come on.

Had a lovely lunch at Parka last weekend. They offer a huge menu if options and one I'd the few plant based kitchens on Queen st. We shared the large GF Truffle Mushroom mac n cheese (cashew). Pure comfort food with great taste. Also shared the Chicken Fried Tofu Sandwich, great, fresh taste but it's not an imitation of chicken which most don't prefer anyway. Overall, great, friendly service as well as gender neutral bathrooms on premise. My longtime vegan friend was super impressed. Highly recommend for lunch 😁

By far the best food I have had in Canada. I was so happy to stumble upon this place when out looking for somewhere to eat. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and there were lots to choose from. The only negative was that the food was expensive. It became quite a pricey lunch and the payment asking about a tip was a bit confusing, although it could just be because I'm from the UK and it's a different system.

new fav restaurant in the area! decided to check this place out after work the other day. i’ve ordered on uber eats once but i had covid so i couldn’t really taste! plus dining-in is a whole diff experience than take out. i loved the vibe of the place, very cute and modern. the service was extremely fast; our food arrived in under 10 min and even then, it was plated and prepared with care. we ordered a cauliflower bowl, and cauliflower bites (wish it was spicier), mac and cheese with a side of fries. i got a kombucha to drink and my partner tried the lemonade. i really enjoyed all dishes and my non vegan partner loved the mac and cheese as well as the lemonade. over all, had a good experience and will definitely be back to try other things.

Delicious healthy, ethical and ecological food. That's how veganism should be promoted. Great environment and staff. This is the best vegan restaurant I've been!

Parka was so cute oh my goodness I ordered the classic Mac and cheese and it was so flavourful. My partner got the chipotle cauliflower bowl. Such a cool vibe and a vast selection of original plant based dishes. Will definitely return:)

Stopped here for lunch while at work and it was decent. The poutine was a bit soggy and my sandwich a bit dry, but still quite delicious vegan food. Would definitely recommend as a great lunch spot

Great place with a lot of choices of plant-based food! Because it’s so close to my workplace, I come here about 1 to 2 times a week. Place is really clean and staff is very friendly, but I do have couple of remarks. First of all, I agree with the fact that truffle Mac and Cheese is not it. My coworker tried it, and she throw away almost the whole meal, because it didn’t taste good. And finally, I would give you 5 star rating if the staff were wearing gloves! It irritating and seems not hygienic to not wear gloves when preparing someone’s meal. I do trust your employees that they wash their hands, otherwise I wouldn’t come back, but please, please, please enforce gloves at your workplace, it looks more professional and trustworthy for your customers! As a person who works in the restaurant kitchen myself I cannot imagine not wearing gloves when preparing customers meal. Overall, great place, which I would recommend! Definitely will come back, hope you will improve in the future!

Some of the most flavourful and delicious vegan food in the city! I loved the tofu, there were so many spices, really the perfect fried tofu. Their mushroom gravy and potatoes are also delicious!! The food is filling, yet sits light so your comfortably full. They have a quick and easy ordering and pickup process, which makes everything go so smoothly. The place is also super cute, wish I could’ve dined in!

I’m not vegetarian or vegan but the smoky portobello mushroom burger is really good! It’s delicious and works really well with the chipotle mayo, onion ring and the other condiments. We also got the cauliflower bowl which was good but the burger is what I recommend you try.

Mac and cheese and Greek fries were good, however we didn't like Chicken tofu sandwich and Black bean burger were not good at all

I ordered the Chipotle Cauliflower Bowl, and I would definitely go back to Parka as for the meal tasted fantastic and the combination of ingredients worked perfectly together. My only complaint would be that the portion wasn’t as large as I was expecting it to be, especially being that I ordered the large size and for what it's priced at.
