Poor quality, overpriced food, designed to appease the guilty conscious of the vapid. The carbon footprint of this restaurant is far worse than most steakhouses. Gotta love the untrained and juvenile palates who flock here for food made from day old ingredients and served with a large helping of smug.

First time here and it was an amazing find. Newly vegan, so staff working here were so friendly and helpful, full of great recommendations. Had the 'just egg' breakfast croissant and husband had the chick'n sandwich with a pretzel bun. It was delicious! The staff even came out to give my dog some cucumbers which was such a nice touch. Definitely coming back!

What a unique place! Came here on a Saturday and it was an absolutely fantastic place to drop by. The menu was vibrant, the staff are incredibly nice, and the food was delicious. Absolutely coming back again!

We had ALK cater our wedding recently and I can’t begin to explain how amazing they are as humans and how amazing the food is. From the moment we connected with them they’ve been so sweet, caring and communicative, also very passionate about what they do. They made the ultimate spread for our guests and basically turned everyone vegan. We went there for breakfast the next morning, and again, food knocks it out of the park. Highly recommend them for catering or any meal!

Probably the absolute best vegan food I have had all year , gyros are SO INCREDIBLE, seriously love eating here and ordering from here the vibes are off the charts the energy is all going towards helping beings who have no ability to defend themselves without our help, taste has a much deeper definition when taking into account all the ways this place is making a difference !! So much love ! If only EVERY business was like this!!!

We had the feta pesto croissant and the carrot lox. Absolutely delicious. I’m don’t think anyone would be able to tell that it was plant based. Amazing! Will be back.

The food was beautifully presented, tasted delicious and the service/responsiveness was off the charts. Most of our guests were meat eaters and they absolutely loved the food too - it was a huge hit!

Loved this place. We went here because of the Vegan/vegetarian coupon book I bought last year! So happy to be able to find places like these! The people working were extremely welcoming and the food was fantastic!

Croissant sandwiches are really yummy! The chik'n sandwich is also delicious, but pretty expensive for how small it is. The Buddha bowl was just okay, not my favourite.

Just tried the basil feta croissant sandwich. It was great. Simple! Healthy! and just tasted great! I can't wait to try other things on the menu.

The service was horrible and the mac and cheese was disgusting, dry and flavorless. When we asked about the mac and cheese we were told in a very uppity attitude that no one else has complained and we were free to eat else where. Looking through the reviews it seems others thought the same about the overpriced mac and cheese. I'll give it another year before it's another failed vegan experiment.

Wowowowo the pastries are incredible. This is where I would go to show that vegan dessert can be just as good as non-vegan. Also the chicken part was legitimately the best one I've had since going vegan. I love the food here. 10/10 recommend

Not only was the food DELICIOUS, the service was also fantastic. You can tell that the food is made with love. I had the chicken Parm sandwich and OMG. Get ready to drool. My partner had the Buddha bowl, full of diverse ingredients, all very very good. We also tried some dessert croissants - I was too full but couldn't help myself, they were so tasty. This will definitely be a stop next time I visit Toronto again!

ALK was amazing. They were prompt and professional. They served up a storm of delcious snacks, 3 course meal with the late night snacks for our reception. They accomodated the food sensitive guests with positive feedback. I highly recommend their services for your next function. Desert below ;)

Really cute place! I tried the shiitake gyro and tofu salad croissant. I wish they’d come with a side salad or something, but they were both very tasty.

We ordered the shiitake gyros, almond croissant and the Buddha bowl. The gyros was tasty and the almond croissant was nice, light and not too sweet. The bowl, however, was a bit of a scam - barely any protein (tempeh) and small quantity for a steep price. Overall, would not go again except for the croissants I think. Very friendly staff and nice service.

Cute little cafe serving delicious, filling meals along with creative sweets (orange pistachio croissant filled with almond paste was amazing!), refreshing smoothies, and hot lattes. Love what they stand for and would recommend to anyone vegan or not

Stopped in to get some Vegan croissants. Honestly was a little disappointed in service. The lady who helped me was using her hands to move around the pastries and not a utensil..did not like that at all. The Croissants (ordered plain) were quite good! So light fluffy and just the right amount of crunch of the outside layers. Would go again. But please. Wear gloves or use tongs. Also get jam would be a great addition as something to offer patrons with the baked goods.

We had a great vegan sit down Mother's Day brunch. The mimosas were tasty. The French toast was awesome. The naan and vegan calamari were delicious.

Please give this place a try. It’s a 1 min walk from broadview and queen. Me and my wife just had the tastiest breakfast sandwiches. They were so fresh, everything is vegan. Staff is super friendly and there’s an extremely clean and tiny seating area with lots of sun. It’s so important to support our vegan business especially in this pandemic.

Amazing vegan croissant, the best in GTA. Love the service food and the smiles. It’s delightful coming just to buy a single croissant also as it’s so worth it. Thank you animal libration kitchen for the best baked goodies.

The food was delicious! The Shitake Gyros was our favourite dish. We enjoyed the service which was very friendly and prompt. It has a surprising variety of choice for a small place. One of the best vegan places in Toronto!

Amazing dairy free croissants. No animals being abused here. Buzz 202 at the front doors to take the few steps up to the 2nd floor where this gem of a place is.

I stopped by here during my lunch and I am so amazed!! It's really hard to find good vegan spots but this place does vegan food right. I got the vegan wrap and it was loaded with flavour and protein, you can tell that they care about the quality of their food. I can't wait to try the rest of the items!!

Happily ran into this little coffee shop before a meeting at Dorset Fine Arts. The owner is so nice, the coffee is great, the food is all made on site and it's vegan! She opened November 2019, just before covid and the lock downs. Get out and support this neighborhood coffee shop! Shop local.

Great service a wonderful successor to the Pulp Kitchen space. BBQ Pulled Jackfruit is so delicious! And their Energy Balls are perfection. Highly recommend. Top notch smoothie as well!

Wow... Ugh I've searched the lands for good vegan croissants and this is it!!!!! The BEST breakfast sandwiches ever. Amazing owner and I felt so good eating this food. Not stuffy and tired after. And the Nutella croissant... Man way too good to be real. Please go support!!!

Neat little place nestled inside an office complex. Very friendly and honest owner. I had the “mac and cheese” with kimchi. Was definitely not expecting it taste as amazing as it did. My only complaint was that some of the noodles were a little dry/undercooked. Regardless, I’m definitely gonna be going back when I can!

This vegan restaurant is phenomenal!! If I could give 6 stars, I would. Super delicious healthy food and absolutely wonderful staff (Tanya and others). To date, I tried poke bowl, gyros, jackfruit pulled sandwich, almond croissants, and cappuccinos; all are delicious! Regardless whether you are vegan or a meat lover, you will LOVE the food here!

So glad I finally got to check out ALK. The Gyro was amazing and the mac n cheez was unique and delicious! Thank you for a fantastic lunch to get me through my day!
