Went to Danforth location. The food was ok. Nothing special. Portions small. Prices high. Service slow. Took long time for the food to arrive and it was not busy. Multiple times had to ask for water refill.

As a lover of Ethiopian food, I was excited to try this with two other people who have never eaten it. We went on a Thursday after seeing there sign for all you can eat vegan Tuesdays -Thursdays. When we got there and stated we wanted to order vegan, along with some meat dishes for the table, the server told us it was not available, but gave no other details. This was unacceptable, but we decided to order anyways, as I convinced my friends that it would be worth it. We ordered a vegetarian platter for two, and a beef and lamb platter. The food came on one platter, and there was very little of it, certainly not enough for three people. All of the dishes were cold or luke warm. The meat dishes hardly had any meat, and some only had large chunks of bone. Very disappointing overall. In addition, the injera tasted old, and was hard on the edges. Very (!) expensive for what we received. It seems possible they were just having an off night, but I won’t risk returning.

Wanted to try something different for a change. Service was amazing, very friendly. Food tasted great, great sized portions and reasonably priced. Thanks

Loved the veggie platter and more flavourful than most ethiopean restos I've been too. The beets were a bit undercooked but other than than everything was delicious and the server was really nice.

Got the takeaway. Portions are smaller and the food was lukewarm. I had a meat and vegetarian dish. I expect the food to be warm and had to reheat. It still tasted good and there are always 2 pieces of injera, but not enough meat or veg to use it with like before. Price also increased accordingly. Quality has declined since I went in the summer. @Management - you have delicious food but please don't start cutting corners.

This restuarnt is good for family get together, I spent an amazing time with my friends. They have variety of Ethiopian food menus with beautiful Ethiopian coffee ceremony and more. I recommend to anyone who wants to know about Ethiopian culture to come visit this place.

This place needs a lot of improvement! They’re understaffed, badly! The amount of times we had to ask for water and utensils to be brought to our table was outrageous. The food was not good either, what was shown on the menu and what we got looked like 2 completely different things. The price was quite expensive as well considering the amount of food you get and the quality. They did have free wifi however, as well as washrooms and outdoor seating which was a plus. Very limited on parking space though. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place either!

Hands down the BEST Ethiopian food we've ever tasted. The staff are super friendly, the food is absolutely fresh and delicious, it's super clean, with affordable prices. 5 stars is an understatement for this restaurant. Highly recommended!

Wow. Never have I ordered from a restaurant more unorganized. We ordered a 4 person platter via phone and they told us to come in 20min. Showed up 25 min later, and they had no record of the order and nothing was ready. They had no idea what they were talking about. Waited 47 minutes for them to prepare it until we finally asked for a refund which they wouldn't give so had to wait almost an hour for the food. Worst service and horrible customer service.

Great atmosphere, lousy food. I’ve eaten Ethiopian food all over the world and on most continents. This was the most bland, Ethiopian food I’ve ever had.

We ordered the meat platter and vegetarian platters combined There was SO much food, we were stuffed and needed to have a take-away bag for the leftovers The food is wonderfully aromatic but not spicy They provide a spicy melange on the side, be careful it's crazy hot if you use too much The service is warm and very helpful Oh! One more thing... your expected to eat with your hands. It's a lot of fun Enjoy!

I just ordered food to go from this place. I ordered beef lamb misto with injera, portion for two. It was the worst experience ever in my entire life! The meat I received it was so hard to chew that I couldn’t do it. The injera which is the pancake had very strange taste. The meat had bones and I tried to have a bite of it but I literally couldn’t. Taste like old meat with a lot of spices on it. DISGUSTING! I am true Ethiopian food lover but this place is just a no go for me. I will send them an email for my money back cause I paid 38 dollars and I didn’t eat any of this cause it was so gross.

Tried Ethiopian food here for the first time. It was excellent. Great portion sizes and prices. We got a meat and veggie platter, both are good. Our favourite was the chicken tips.
