Their vegetarian dishes are unbelievable! It tastes even better than real meat tbh, also healthier! The store owner committed all ingredients are used naturally, no chemicals added especially to the tofu. Their tofu is just so different than all the tofu in the Chinese markets most of the time, it has softer texture and moist compared to the regular ones in the market Their banh mi was incredible! My husband and me, we tried 2 different types and both of it were same bommb. Their Banh mi menu has around like 9 or 12 choices for us to pick! I tried their Pho with assorted toppings play the role of “meat-protein” here, not broccoli or carrot or green like other places, and their $1 Cha Gio is also made with rice paper, not the typical mung bean wrap one so it has a crunchier taste and the filling inside made me bought another 20 rolls to bring home lol Staff: they are all like my mom age so definitely they can’t be fast and speak English fluently all the times so just be patient 😊

Since the place changed management or owners it's not the same. I used to love the food from here and would buy it very often. The last two times I bought food, you can tell the difference in quality and quantity. The food just tastes bland now, and the portions are really small. The noodles and vegetables did not taste like anything. At least the tofu still tasted good. Everytime I bought a combo before I would receive a good amount, now they put very little food. Sad to say I won't be getting take out from here anymore.

Been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. Everything is always fresh & pretty cheap, ambience is really nice too for a sit down. I got some noodles & chicken tofu for $7 that left me full, this place is a hidden gem!

This place makes the best vegan pho I’ve ever had. The takeout order can vary slightly in quality, but it’s always a large portion of delicious pho with faux meats. Their other dishes are also quite good. There’s very limited seating and it’s not the most comfortable dining experience with people rushing in and out, so I would recommend getting it to-go.

I LOVE this place! Amazing vegan food 😍 I go there every week for the sweet and sour tofu and noodles! EDIT: I originally gave this place 5 stars. After attempting to go there to buy sweet and sour tofu like 8 times.. around 3-4pm.. they are ALWAYS out. And they ALWAYS say they arent making more which makes absolutely no sense to me since they close at 8pm. Ive even went at noon and if they are out, oh well. Its a decent travel from my place, so I'm done trying to go here. So disappointing.

Came for the sweet but also bought some fried tofu. The sweet stuff looked very nice on the dining table. OK but dont think it is the best.

First time ordering delivery, I ordered a small plate of sweet & sour tofu and stir-fry yellow noodle ($6 each). Both were great - the tofu especially was so crispy on the outside! Portions were small but filling altogether. I would definitely order again to try other items on the menu. They have lots of options and are one of four vegan/veggie restaurants in the area. Highly recommend!

This place is great for vegan and vegetarians. We went yesterday after a year or more. And we were very happy with the food. We went at 6:30pm and they received us ( jus 30min before they close). The fry noodle dish and the bàhn mi we ordered were super tasty. The noodle soup was not the best we had had, but still delicious and enjoyable and full of veggie mockmeat. Portions are a bit smaller than before. Prices are affordable. Sandwiches $5 and noodle dish $13. And staff was friendly. I wish they have a bigger space for dinning to bring more people. They also improved the menu with pictures on big screens over the counter. Next time will take a pic.

Since the new ownership, the standards of the dishes taste different every time. Sometimes it's delicious (hence 2 stars), sometimes it's flavorless, sometimes the vegetables are tough. It's really a gamble each time you go there. I've been very disappointed in this place. On top of all that, the prices have gone up and they give you much less. I wouldn't mind paying more if the standards were consistent and delicious like before. So sad and this place has gone downhill. I won't be buying here again.

This place will bring you to a delight of vegan foods, healthy and affordable prices. They are just adding some vegan “Banh mi” on the menu. I believe it good and will try it later to update the photos!

Vegetarians' heaven, but the meat lovers who came with me loved it too! We ate the teriyaki udon and the spicy lemon grass dishes and they were both perfect! We ate in the restaurant, it's a very small place but we don't live and the area, if you live in the area you might want to take out.

Hidden gem, fully vegan. Great selection of mock meats and tofu to choose from. In addition, they now have banh mi, pho and other dishes available. Very reasonably priced!!

I love this place. They have a hot table with tons of different tofu mixes. They also have a la carte for you to order. There are good veggies in the table, but they also can make them fresh. Food takes about 10 mins if they make it from scratch. They have all the standards, but in vegan. Even if you don't just eat vegan, you will like it; more healthy too. Don't forget to try their 'hams' - the pepper one is awesome. Great in sandwiches. Their desserts are good too. The rice stuff isn't crazy sweet, so maybe better one of the others if you want a strong taste. One of my top ten in Toronto, for sure. Great spot. :)

This place has awesome Viet vegan food. At first glance it definitely looks unimpressive, but don't be fooled. My personal go to is any of their noodle soups. If you order take out it will come cold so you have to heat the broth up when you get home, but the taste is 100% worth it. For the price I can't complain. I've been to many vegan restaurants at a variety of price points and this place gets the noodle soups right. My last order was the bun bo hue and it was awesome as always. I think that sometimes they're understaffed, but the food is worth it so I gladly wait the few minutes for my turn. Give this place a try if you're in the area!

Veganism has deep roots in cultures all over the world, and Mama’s Tofu provides a striking example! It’s super affordable and dispels the myth that vegan food is over-priced and bland. The food here cleared my skin, gave me my degree, and put me in a new tax bracket. But seriously, it is a game-changer for everyone My non-vegan friend that doesn’t think something is a meal unless there’s meat on the plate adoooooored the Udon Teriyaki Bowl. It was her first plant-based meal ever, but it won’t be her last at Mama’s Tofu ☀️

Ordered through Uber eats. Once rice dish was wrapped in plastic wrap and clearly not cooked fresh. Maybe not even cooked today. Really disappointing food. All tastes the same.

Sweet shop, with a large variety of vegan Vietnamese food which are to die for! Extremely flavourful and so healthy. You can tell it’s made with love and care :) my partner and I go weekly- highly recommend !

I would give more stars if I could, very impressed with my first order and have placed my second order in as many days. The quantity, quality, price was totally awesome. Really the flavour and the texture of some of the fried tofu is some of the best I've had and I've been vegetarian/vegan for many years. Thank you Mama's you make some great food I can tell that you really put some love and attention into it.

After new ownership, food quality & quantity has been lacking. Tried it several times giving it some time to improve, but it is still lacking. Same order every time, but tastes different every time. Service is also not as good, they literally forgot to give us one of our orders, and we didn’t realize until we got home (with all the orders we got, it’s hard to keep track, & the employee confirmed that we had everything). We had to call & head back to the place to pick up the missing item…

I love this place. It's delicious, healthy and affordable. We thought the dishes were actually meat when we first walked in. The bbq "pork" and the "shrimp" are my favourites.

Very good place for Vietnamese Buddhist Vegetarian Mixed Rice dishes. The speciality here is Soya Taufufa very famous with Malaysians.

I really love there Gelatin 3D cakes. The presentation is very beautiful and the gelatin is so delicious in a different way. I've been ordering their Gelatin cakes for almost 1 year now.

Fresh vegetarian Vietnamese food, the ladies are very sweet. Avenge price but cash only. Try there Bun Bo Hue and the soup is very good.
