I
had
heard
many
great
things
about
Athens
pre-pandemic
lockdown,
unfortunately
I
didn't
make
it
before
everything
closed
down.
I
was
told
that
when
you
go
in
you
have
a
great
selection
of
daily
specials
that
change
each
day.
I
was
disappointed
that
I
didn't
make
it
but
when
I
found
them
on
Uber
Eats
or
Skip
The
Dishes
(hard
to
remember
which
one)
I
had
to
order.
We
ordered
the
souvlaki
family
meal
deal
and
the
price
was
fair.
Both
the
chicken
and
pork
were
well
cooked
and
tasted
great.
The
rice
was
well
seasoned
and
I
could
have
eaten
double.
I
wasn't
the
biggest
fan
of
the
potatoes
but
I
rarely
am
unless
they're
fried.
My
one
complaint
is
the
food
wasn't
as
hot
as
I'd
like
but
that's
because
it
was
a
long
drive
to
get
to
us.
I
recommend
going
on
because
it's
a
100
times
better.
I
finally
got
to
go
and
sit
down
for
a
nice
meal
and
wow!
It's
a
small
family
run
restaurant
and
it
really
shows
when
you're
interacting
with
the
staff.
Everyone
was
friendly
and
the
owner
really
seems
like
he
wants
to
get
to
know
you
(I'm
assuming
he
was
the
owner).
When
sitting
in
we
ordered
everything
from
the
daily
special
menu
and
it
was
all
great.
Every
dish
was
authentic
Greek.
The
stuffed
peppers
were
some
of
the
best
I've
tried.
The
moussaka
was
as
good
as
mom's
(how
she
never
read
this),
I
wanted
seconds
but
I
was
getting
stuffed.
My
favorite
was
the
filo
wrapped
lamb,
which
is
difficult
and
time
consuming
to
make.
The
lamb
was
juicy
and
tender,
the
vegetables
were
fresh,
the
cheese
perfectly
melted
and
the
filo
was
flaky.
When
you
go
to
Athens
skip
the
same
old
souvlaki
and
eat
the
real
home
made
Greek
food.
Check
out
the
specials
menu.
You
will
not
be
disappointed.
I'm
going
back
until
I've
tried
everything
on
their
menu.
