Quite accidently found myself in this little, clean and unpretentious pub and what a nice surprise. Loved the great and wonderful selection of local beers and the simple and delicious menu. Wonderful and amazing service and great food! Will be a regular at this gem of a pub!

Great pub fare, and very nice rotating selection of craft beers. Can't decide which beer to grab? Get flights! Staff was very friendly and attentive, and we had a good time. Be sure to ask for food specials. Nice decor, although maybe a little too many TVs!

As far as community craft beer specific pubs fare, Tap Works shines. The space provides a friendly environment with quality product and delicious food. The environment has a community feel, with neighborhood connection. Very impressed with how our group was treated when coming in without warning. It was a group of 15, and they were already busy. They made a conceded effort to ensure we were taken care of. The pub is quality, without being pretentious. We will return.

Great service and variety of food and drinks. Their beers are curated to satisfy all palates. From lagers to goses to sours and ales. Just amazing!

Such a nice experience! A great assortment of beers on tap, and delicious food. Super enjoyed the nachos and the BBQ brisket sandwich! The staff were friendly and helpful, and I also enjoyed the music.

This is based on about 20 visits over several years. Whether with the family or just out for beers this place doesn't disappoint for consistency and fresh, good beer. A few years ago they had hit and miss food for a while but now it's consistent and the beer list is solid. Servers are lovely. A vital place in the neighborhood for when you're hungry but also want a not bad beer.

MY FAVORITE PUB IN ST. CLAIRE WEST The place is not very eye catching from the exterior, but once you get in, you can see how stunning the place is. The staff is very nice and friendly. Definitely I will became a current visitor for theirs beers and their sweet potato fries.

My girlfriend and I went in on an impromptu dinner date .We ordered the chicken tenders with fries and cheese dip with pretzel bites. It was delicious. This place certainly has mouth watering, flavourful meals .The staff are amazing .

Been here a few times. Food is awful and frozen, service is ridiculous. One server for both outside and inside on a Friday night. Grilled cheese came with a gross sauce and was made with processed cheese. Potstickers obviously frozen. Small plate of nachos. We had to wait forever for food and to get another drink. Truly terrible.

The food and selection of beers are fantastic!♥️ the staff is super nice. Have been to this place already twice. And definitely will be coming back. Oh yes..the atmosphere is super cozy..

We had a burrito and a frittata. The Frittata was amazing, the goat cheese flavour dominated the dish. It came in a nice pan. The burrito was ok. I ordered it with a salad (there are three options: fries, salad and something else). When I got it, it came with fries instead. I told them and got the salad too. The service was great, they offered us coffee.

Extremely rude staff. Skip this place and go to one of the other amazing bars in the area. If you want a friendly, welcoming local bar, look elsewhere. Went for a drink after dinner last night with 5 friends. As we walked in, the bartender loudly counted each of us as we entered the bar and once we were all inside he rudely yelled “SORRY, NOT GONNA HAPPEN” at us. Before we could say anything at all, he smugly yelled over the entire bar again “SORRY GUYS!” so we left. I followed up with the bar, and they told me they’ve had problems with this bartender before and it wasn’t the first time this had happened. Seems this person still works here, so you might be the next group he yells at.

We came here last February (2020) just before the pandemic hit. Back then they were open for brunch and had a great selection on their menu. Our sever was amazing and super friendly. The food was fantastic! Shame they don’t offer brunch anymore. But would definitely come back here to try their dinner menu.

TLDR: Rude staff Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. Went for a drink on a Friday at 10:30 with a group of five. Walked in and was immediately greeted from across the bar by an extremely arrogant bartender who snidely yelled "1,2,3,4,5 SORRY NOT GONNA HAPPEN!" for all the patrons of the place to hear. Upon noticing a possibly empty table someone from my group got closer to see if it was indeed free and able to fit us and the same bartender once again snidely yelled for all to hear "SORRY GUYS." No further interaction or explanation other than that occurred. So we left. A member of my party called the bar shortly after to file a complaint for the extremely rude staff member at which point they were informed this wasn't the first time this has happened. Completely unnecessary to treat potential patrons in this manor. If your idea of a good time is getting talked to like a misbehaving child the moment you walk into an establishment, this place is for you. Otherwise steer clear and head somewhere else, there are plenty of great places in the area with much better service and offer a more inviting environment.

I need to leave a 1⭐️ review. I was waiting on the patio as well for 10 minutes and nobody came to greet us. Your reply to Emilias review was shocking as it's not the guest job to find a server, it's the servers job to be attentive and greet guests even if the server is overwhelmed... You had 3 people at the bar drinking and one table of one on her laptop. I made eye contact with the server twice and he didn't come to our table, that was the problem. Additionally, you have no signage of any kind directing people to wait to be seated... Bad reviews are annoying and we need to learn from them, they should push us to do better and keep us on our toes.. Excuses are just lazy. Do better

Really great pub. The place has a wonderful cosy vibe and the staff very welcoming as well. They have a simple and effective menu, with solid choices. I would have gone with 5 stars, but the lost star was for the fish tacos, which were good. However, they come as an order of three. My girlfriend and I wanted to sample and share appetizers, so we asked if the cook could throw in an extra taco (so we could each have 2) and we'd pay a couple dollars extra. We wanted to leave room to sample other menu items. The cook refused and suggested we order a second plate of tacos. We did this, but it made us too full to order the other appetizer we wanted to try. Also, the fish tacos were great for quantity, but a bit plain as they needed some water cress to mix with the fish and lime, to hold the lime flavour. That aside, the place is great. The kitchen just might want to be a bit more flexible for people exploring the menu.

Best craft beer on St. Clair. Ever changing taps and a fantastic seasonal menu, plus great staff on top of it all. Best spot on St Clair.

Okay, amazing beer selection and at a very reasonable price point, also has good covid precautions in place. Servers are super nice and the food is perfect for what you want when you're grabbing a cold one. Casual enough that there isn't much need to dress up but you could also go looking freshend up and no one would bat and eye.

Went for pickup tonight. Daughter raves about the chicken tenders. Great Cajun chicken Caesar. Props on duck confit poutine - we all loved it. Burgers were awesome as usual !

Great local brew-pub with a wide range of craft beers, great food and nicest people working there! Best ever Korean chicken burger! #1 place to go for a fresh on tap beer and tasty bite!

Had the chance to pop in and I must say the service was exceptional. Maria was very nice and answered all my questions. The food as like every time I’ve been there before was fantastic! Tonight they offered a gyro special and It was spectacular. They should add it as a permanent item. I look forward to visiting my perfectly situated neighborhood spot again. Awesome!

Really good food, nice patio with cafe TO lane, great selection of beer. Good service. I had the turkey melt and really enjoyed it, although I might choose different bread. The cauliflower app was excellent and crunchy without a huge amount of batter on it. I thought it was just right. I also had some of the quesadilla with chicken added and it was an impressively hefty meal! I was very happy with the food.

Got the chicken sandwhich and wow it was disappointing. All breading, no chicken. Taste was underwhelming. Chicken was also burnt as per pics. Adding a star cause the fries were good

Mystery ingredients in your food? My nachos were cut with tomato basil rosemary pita (which the “manager” insisted was tortilla?) Seriously? So one random piece of pita - ok, but mixed into 1/2 the nachos? Two servers thought it was totally bizarre. “They don’t have them in their kitchen “. “We will talk to the manger and do something about it”… poor girls… this guy is a “real peach”. First, he tried to convince me that it was a figment of my imagination. Con-job. Then he acknowledged the pita, the fact that it was not on the menu ingredients list, and said “it was there to replace red coloured chips”. (You can’t make this stuff up) Though he couldn’t explain why he didn’t just use all plain coloured chips through his smug grin. He knows this review is coming. I asked him to give me one reasonable explanation … but he couldn’t…… I would have accepted ‘Sorry, we were short.’ But you can’t be honest, when your dishonest. Paid full price for the bill.
