A bartender on a Saturday night added a tip for herself without me knowing. By the time I had caught it, it was already too late. When I confronted her about it, she basically had admitted to doing it, saying that, "It's like that everywhere around here." As a bartender myself, I can tell you it's not. I decided to ignore her and move on, and stayed at the bar with my drinks. She came over to me again, and kept trying to justify her actions, saying again, "It's like that everywhere, so don't be mad." I got tired of listening to her and firmly brushed her off. Then, she decided to escalate the situation and called security on me. Even after explaining the situation to the security guard (who seemed to understand), about 5 security guards altogether then approached. I didn't want any trouble -- especially since my actions weren't the root of the problem -- so I just left without any further confrontation. What's most disappointing is that it seems this bartender is taking advantage of people who may be drunk or not watching their payments closely. And on top of it all, trying to justify her actions.

Terrible terrible service from this place and it's all because of of the front door employees. Had friends come down from Miami and thought we could come down and show them a close by Latin club. When we arrived at 1:05AM on Saturday July 2nd there was decent line up to get in. Then all we hear from the bouncer and some other Rico suave is the club is CLOSED. First off it states on your website that the club closes at 2:00AM. Secondly after yelling to everyone saying that the club is close Rico Suave let's 6 guys in after one of the guy whispers in his ear and hands him money. Thought the club was closed? Apparently not. We used to go there and hang out in the basement where there is ample space and knowing a bartender down there tells me that it's not full. Nothing has changed from that place. The bouncer that looks like he is dress to rob a bank (All black clothing, black hat, pouch etc was pretty rude to my friend when all she was doing was asking why did you say it was closed and full but let 6 guys in. Word of advice, if it was closed you should rethink the definition of closed. They should put all the stanchions inside, lock the doors and put a sign up but it's clearly the bouncer and Rico suave are making side money. The owner if they really care about their brand should look into this as they are cutting into his profits. Turning guest that are willing to spend money inside, especially a quick $20 cover per person with 45 minutes before closing time would generate quick cash for the business but instead the bouncers and Rico suave if you ask me are stealing from the brand to let certain guests in as long as they get cash paid into their pockets. Looking at all the reviews and the trend seems all similar and also noticed that no one from the business cares as there is no follow up replies. Maybe they truly don't care. Anyways if you want to be treated well with respect and feel comfortable I'd suggest you find a place elsewhere and spend your hard earned money. Please don't waste your money and fill dumb and dumber's a pockets. 10 people out 10 people in.

Had a dinner party with friends get together. It was 10 of us. There was a very good signer dressed up in customs sign around the tables and dance with some ladies. He has a great voice. We had some tequila shots on the house. The service was great. We had lot of fun. The dinner was $55 which includes a 3 course set dinner and the entrance fee to the dance floor. We ordered steaks and some of them didn’t cooked enough but they took care of it after. There are two dance floors: Latino and modern dance music. We tried both and it was fun. But I was a bit disappointed for the crowd. Maybe that just me because I only drank a little, my friends seemed to have lots of fun (after drinking a lot). Overall this is a place to go for friends get together and who likes to dance and don’t mind the crowds.

I had a wonderful experience here. Went with a group of friends for a celebration. If you go before 11, there is like no line. It does fill up quick. I haven’t visited for dinner, we went for the nightlife. There are 2 large dance floors. Drinks are good price and service was great. They offer bottle service as well. There is a cover charge of $20 which is usual for Saturday night. Its modern and trendy on the main floor. Highly recommend for latin music.

Cool place to hear some live Latin singer and then club after. My dinner wasn't that great no flavour and the meat was awful. After eating I saw the biggest roach I've ever seen in Toronto just crawling on the wall. Yuck. I get it, it's the city but it was an awful sight by that time nobody else was having dinner in the restaurant. I didn't get to club but lots of young folks there loving it. Go for the club and live Latin singer not the food.

I tried doing reservations for 2 people for Saturday and they said they don’t make reservations for small groups. That I could just walk in first come first serve. So I tried to come early and when I got there the security said that we have to wait one hour until 11:30 (an hour wait) to see if there’s space since we don’t have reservation (which I tried to do) didn’t know there would be such a problem getting in . Was very unprofessional and should of been explained that when I tried making reservations as I took Uber all the way from Vaughan. I took my business somewhere else where they always treat me good . Never coming back

They are racist!! Really bad place don’t go here!! No reason nothing just didn’t let my friend in because he was BLACK!! Hate this place never going in here!! The guy in the picture is the one who said no!!

This place is racist. They told my BLACK friend that he wasn’t allowed to get in because he was wearing a hat even though it wasn’t on the website under their dress code NOR did they give a specific reason why he couldn’t wear they hat. Didn’t even say it was a dress code issue or anything. We are DISGUSTED and NEVER coming back. The guy at the front was the worst part of the experience. We’ve been here twice with no issue and the one time we bring our black friend it’s a problem getting him in. We were also told we HAD to coat check a light leather trench coat and then when we did, there was a girl that walked in with a PARKA!! Like what’s the rational??? - see the last review for a photo of the place a the guy

Absolutely horrible bouncers and staff! Will NEVER return! VERY ghetto club, the type of crowd and ppl that go to this club just want to start fights and be ratchet. Never been so appalled to witness the nasty Dominican bouncer with glasses and Arab bouncer with shaved sides of head and mushroom cut man bun wrongfully manhandle a young female who was half their size after she was the victim of a fight. I watched them kick out the girl who had started the fight and then saw them aggressively grab the victim and literally push her to the ground to get her to leave. Horrible customer service. Horrible bartenders. Horrible bouncers. Do NOT go here.

The music: If you want a variety of good Latin dance music, I wouldn’t recommend the place. The music was monotonous (all meringue) with every song having the same beat and weak transitions. The dance space and environment: For a Latin club, it’s a good space- if you just want to relax and go out to have a nice time, go here. If you’re a more serious dancer, I’d recommend not going as aforementioned. *Also watch out for the step in the middle of the dance floor as I saw many people fall or trip. *$20 cover and they will check your ID. The restaurant: I didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant but it looks like a cozy, romantic space. A wonderful precursor before dancing.

If I could rate with 0 star I would do it. My friends and I reserved a table at this place on Saturday October 30, we were told that the tables were assigned in order to arrival ( also the web site tells you this) so we decided to be early to get a table on the second floor. At the entrance this rude woman said there was no table available and walked us to the down floor. I came upstairs after a few minutes and realized that there was a table available on second floor so I brought my friends to this table, then this woman approached us and said that the table was reserved so we clarify that we had a reservation but this woman had the table separated for her friends that arrived around 1 hour later. She called the security to make us move from the table, I ask for the "manager " and this guy named Marcelo came in a tremendous bad attitude. Pushed the back of one of my friends and took my purse and dropped to the floor!!!! He didn't even heard us that were trying to explain what happened!! We were amazed with his rudeness. At the end we decided to leave and go to another place where we were treated decently! Don't waste your time and money at this terrible place!!!!

Terrible service at the entrance, the man at the entrance treats people super badly, he speaks ugly to me for wearing an elegant bermuda or shorts, and he criticizes me ugly about my origin as a Latino and way of dressing. also he did not let me in, but that was not the bad thing, the bad thing was the anger and discrimination with which he speaks to those at the entrance for me the worst service I have ever seen.

Probably one of the worst experiences ever. They wanted to charge $20 for cover to dance when we just wanted to sit inside and eat. How are you going to charge a cover for people who want to sit down and eat a meal? The place had no dancing on the Friday night. Steak was extremely thin and chewy. They charged some sort of $8 gratuity extra at the end, but it was not stated on the bill, the waitress was doing some random math on her phone to get the total - seemed sketchy. Don't come here on a Friday night, or ever.

I would like to share a very bad experience that I had last night nov 10/23, when I ordered a chicken flautas and the chicken was rotten, in consequence I am suffering food poisoning, I’m feeling very sick. The only good thing was the waitress who was the only one who came to apologize.

The club atmosphere is toxic. Coat check was mandatory, yet there were some folks who were able to wear their coats inside. We got a booth with bottle service for my cousin's birthday, the booth sat 4 people, and there were 9 of us. 2 bottles of liquor and some watered down mixed drinks. Got a vodka cran and it was literally a splash of vodka, no measurements whatsover. They neglected to stamp the birthday girl which resulted in them trying to make her pay for cover again after having been there for 2 hours, and the reservation is under her name. How could they let her in initially without stamping her? We were some of the first people in the club. Website says that cover is 5-10$ but in reality was 20$ per person. A bottle of beer is 10$ and the bartender is privy to add the top themselves, so watch out.

Place is extremely crowded, no COVID protection at any moment. They have “specials” in the menu but “because of covid” they cannot offer them but they didn’t even ask for vaccination proof. Jadira overcharged my table and if it wasn’t because I saw it she wouldn’t Have changed it. Overly price for the type of food. If I could give a 0 stars, I would!

Didn't went there to dine. It was all about the music and dance for me. All I can say Latin community knows how to enjoy themselves. I didn't know any fancy moves but I had a blast! The dance floors were crowded so if you get there before 11 you will avoid the line up. Also once you find a tile/spot on the dance floor you better hold on it !!

Today I went to dinner at your restaurant with visits from Mexico in order to show you what a Latin restaurant is, unfortunately it was my first time there too, the waitress who served me Jadira, was a very rude and inattentive person, first I asked her to show me the menu and she just threw it on the table, secondly, I didn't have internet to which she asked me "and how do you plan to order?" To this question she was waiting as part of the staff to give me a solution, my uncomfortable family and I asked her to recommend something, and she ended up lending us her cell phone to see the menu, we only ordered a steak, appetizers and drinks, as we were not sure of What we had ordered we waited for him to arrive, when he arrived I did not even wait for him to finish saying that he wanted 3 more equal dishes, he just left, there were only 2 more busy tables, when I returned I asked him, to which he answered annoyingly " Why did they wait to see the dish before ordering more? " Sorry, but if I don't know what the dish I ordered is like, I'm not going to ask for more, when it was time to pay I had problems with the terminal to pay by card so I asked you to configure it once more, when this happens to pay quickly Because I had other things to do, just press "ok" to everything and pay, she returned to take the receipt and very angry and indignant she told me "the tip was not included eh" I mean, I know it's good to leave a tip but is it an obligation? After your bad service of course I am not going to leave you a tip, terrible experience, the first and last time I will eat or drink something there, very bad service.

Terrible service at the entrance. We called ahead of time and we were told there was no list so we didn’t have to put out names down. But once at the entrance around 10pm when we were trying to get in we were told only parties of six and more were allowed in. So we ended up going to a different club but we really wanted to dance to Spanish music so we came back around 12 when we were finally let in but of course now there was a cover fee. Once inside the music was great! Definitely the place you want to go to if you wanna dance and get messed up on drinks. Just be careful because you kind of have to dance around the tables. But nevertheless it was still fun. Wish we could’ve gone in earlier instead of wasting our time and money finding other places to go to. They also had a variety of liquor so that was also nice.

We had a booth reserved for a Birthday. Security was kind and effiecient. Coat check was understaffed and disorganized. I told him I have 2 jackets and he insisted on giving me one ticket. To later find out when going for a smoke break, that I was supposed to get 2 tickets. I had to go back and search the racks to find the other jacket. Host/doorman was aggressive and rude. When they admitted the birthday girl, they forgot to stamp her. When she went for a smoke, he denied her entry, was EXTREMLY rude, and made her cry. When I approached, to ask him to check the guess list, he panicked and pushed me into the wall. I realized he was freaking out, and just walked away. Another person lost their phone and asked the host/doorman for help. He dismissed her and told her there was nothing he could do. The management is unresponsive and careless. Another gentleman from security provided the lady with the number for the manager. The manager was contacted and requested to be texted. There was a follow to both email addresses posted online or from the manager. No response for 4 days. Not even a courtesy, "sorry, not found" A group of us waited until they opened 4 days later. To confront them with our concerns. We were met with indifference. Don't know how the resturaunt is, but their Saturday nights suuuuck.

Expected better customer attention. Even the doorman wanted to fight one of my friends for no other reason when my friend just raised attention to the staff bc someone stole us a bucket of beers. And He decided it was smarter to argue my friend. We did not even go over that uncomfortable situation since the other employees at the door (only) are actually nice. Alcohol and lots of people made us forget the bad experience. Regardless I don't think I personally will come for another night, but covid measures also explain their situation... until I saw all the place crowded I can't even walk to the W. Hope the reconsider over a few things but also remember that not all the customers finish the night drunk and stupid. We were totally OK. A shame.

Owners and staff are oblivious to enforcing COVID 19 vaccine checks and no one checks COVID certificate!! The place isn't cleaned properly. Basically this is the next COVID hotspot and needs to be reported to authorities. Rude doorman and serving staff and overpriced cover of 20 bucks - better take your business in a nice bar than coming here. They don't even serve water to people who pay a high cover to dance or buy alcohol. Owners train staff to be rude. Mal lugar!

Overpriced for what it offers.... Arrogant owner, arrogant bouncers and arrogant staff. Expensive cover. Dirty toilets and lack of cleanliness. Lack of respect for patrons. Go a few blocks down to El Convento Rico..similar latin music and more plus a better place with fair prices and no/very low cover.

Finding a spot to celebrate my bday during COVID was soo difficult because everything Was rlly boring. You only turn a quarter of a century once and I wanted to have a great time. Stephanie assisted in making reservations that made sure I got exactly what I wanted. We started off with some food and then finally got to the lounge. The bottle service men & woman were so amazing! They were extremely attentive and considering the amount of my party - they accommodated us to be in the same area but of course - within limits and 6ft apart from each group. I had a BLAST! My bday was a hit and I’m soooo glad they gave me such a fun birthday that one could have during a pandemic! Music was great and I can’t wait to return!

Roofied. I have been coming to this place for over 5 years not including the pandemic. This past June my friend got roofied here which had us all freaking out. Went back last night after months for a bday and another girl got roofied. I talked to her friends. She was with friends including guys. So doesnt matter who you are with. Just be super careful here or just avoid going. The crowd generally is way more sketchy too. Its also overly crowded since the pandemic. It didnt used to be like this.

Really likes the DJ's music. Parties had to social distance to their booth area only and wear masks when leaving our respective areas but it was fun. The empanada girl didn't give me back my change and that was fine, because I was going to give it to her anyway but I prefer a show of honesty.

Overall it was a terrible experience, no place should be allowed to make coat check a mandatory thing! Security was so aggressive and not understanding, they manhandled some of my company which is not alright under any circumstance! Overall, there are other better latin clubs in Toronto.
