Excellent and absolutely delicious food. Always wanted to try Ethiopian cuisine and was not disappointed at all. I took the meat platter and everything on it was just scrumptious. My friend on the other side took the vegetarian and she liked that as well. The decor of the place was like walking inside an art studio. Simple yet very elegant. Would definitely recommend and try again.

Amazing is what I can say! Great food, great service and with great pricing. We went yesterday and the hostess handled the entire crowd on her own, she gave us amazing recommendations and was very attentive to us. We had the vegetarian platter for two with the spicy tofu, amazing! We also had a meat platter, which was great but the highlight of the evening was the ‘Chacha’, sizzling meat with a fantastic taste. The cuisine had surprising common traits to Indian cuisine. The ambience was very nice as well, lowly lit with light music in the background and authentic incense scent. Would definitely go back again!

This place makes me feel cultured. I’ve ordered in and had takeout from here and every time I am reminded how delicious it is. My eat-in experience was top tier. I felt that the server knew I couldn’t handle any spice and told me what to order. She was correct. The vegetarian platter is 11/10 🌟 go here!

Food: The food is delicious and flavourful. I went with two other friends. It feels like you are having dinner at friend or family member’s house. We got the family platter with various meat and vegetable dishes. Each dish was unique and distinct. Service: If you have questions, the staff are knowledgeable and provide great recommendations. Service is attentive and fast.

We got the family platter for 2 ppl...but you could easily share it with 3 ppl and everyone would be decently satisfied. The place is interesting, service was good too. There's green P parking on the street but there are also small side streets for free parking but they are harder to come by.

Brilliant Etheopean restaurant! I've been to some Etheopean restaurants in Austria, Japan, Israel. This is the best one I've seen. Great food, very nicely authentically decorated, nice friendly waitress. Very positive experience. They even had non Etheopean dishes for childern that may not yet appreciate this kind of food - (French fries, chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, etc...)

It was my first time trying Ethiopian food. It was tasty and we liked the food! (A little overpriced in our opinion) We ordered the white fish, vegetarian platter, and more. I didn’t like the bread but that’s just my personal preference. Overall we enjoyed the food, the restaurant has a nice decoration, and the service was good.

The meat and gravy were very tasty along with the bread, but felt the vegetables were a bit blunt to my taste! Service was good as well.

The ambience, the interiors and the vibe is very welcoming. It’s like being transported to Ethiopia. They don’t rush you and give you time to go through the menu. We got a vegetarian platter for 2 but even 3 couldn’t finish it. Loved the food it was amazing and I would recommend you to try it if you’re a vegetarian. The bread is like fermented dosa and the dips and stews are put on top of the bread so you can eat it easily.

I ordered a salad with olive oil ingredient with another meal. The salad was dry. I asked the waitress for a bit of olive oil. She came back with normal cooking oil. If this says anything it says the dishonesty. Watch what you put in your stomach in that place. The restaurant might look welcoming but quality of the cooking products is surely dire. I put 0 trust in the management of that place.

I love Ethiopian food and Lalibela never disappoints. Whatever you order on the menu is going to be good. My personal favourite is a sharable vegetarian platter. The non-veggie platter is also good. If you've never tried Ethiopian cuisine, Lalibela is a solid choice for quality Ethiopian food. Oh yeah, Ethiopian coffee is the best. I've tried all sorts of beans in my life and lemme tell you, nothing beats Ethiopian coffee with a bit of cream, of course. I can't handle black coffee.

My first experience trying Ethiopian food and it was truly unforgettable. The Lalibela Platter was a great introduction to a taste of authentic Ethiopian cuisine. My favourite from this dish was the sample of the red lentils wat, steamed kale and the injera. The coffee ceremony was the highlight of my evening and I wish there was more coffee to share amongst our group because we enjoyed every last sip! Overall, loved the relaxed vibe at Lalibela and the hospitality.

We were lucky to find this place over the past weekend. I am glad we stopped by for lunch. Ir really transported us to a farway place. All furniture and decorations were brought from Egypt. Music is also Egyptian. I ordered a mix of spicy beef, chicken, and various grain and vegetable items, including lentils, all served on the famous injera (spongy bread) covered plate. I recommend trying to eat the traditional way with your hands! Is fun.

Came here for the first time, and was blown away by the delicious food and service. We got a veggie platter, a meat platter, and kitfo (half portion). Food portions are large and you def get your money's worth. The food was fresh and the kitfo was incredibly flavorful too. It looked like there was only one server, and the place was packed. She still managed to provide great service and provide attention to all the tables. Will def be back.

It was my first time trying Ethiopian food. The servers were great! My parents and I tried their chicken, lamb and veggie platters. All of the dishes were phenomenal! The ambience makes you feel you are really in Ethiopia. Well recommended!

Food is a 10/10… This is a place you come for some amazing Ethiopian food… Its a communal sharing plate which makes eating fun!! Must try is the Lalibela platter and four meat platter… the Injera was soft and well fermented just the way it should be… highly recommend.

Came here with a Groupon discount on a Monday around 5pm. It got crowded very quickly, the atmosphere was very nice and clean. The wait for your platter is a bit long but the food was authentic and yummy!

I couldn't get enough of this dish - it's like it was crafted just for my palate. The presentation alone was a feast for the eyes, and the flavors exceeded my expectations.

Food is good but doesn’t worth to pay 45$ for platter that are just veggies and small portion meat. All tables were full but there was just one server, he was great but not fair and professional. We felt bad to ask even for water as he was so busy. Disappointed management.

Reminded me of authentic home cooked food! I was stunned as to how similar some of the flavours were to Indian food! Highly recommend this place for it's soft and fluffy injera with a bunch of veggie stews! The service was very friendly and the ambience was very authentic! Would definitely be back with my friends to try the coffee ceremony soon!

The food was very interesting and the place was very nice. This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I liked it for the most part. I tried the Fish curry with the vegetarian platter. The different vegetarian curries were interesting.. I think I enjoyed the lentils the most.

Really good Ethiopian food - so many diverse flavours and kind staff. Atmosphere is very lowkey.
